[0:03] huh so you want to jump into the Video [0:05] Game World of Warcraft or you just want [0:08] to charge into battle [0:11] screaming or maybe they just want to [0:14] jump into a fantasy MMO RPG game with [0:17] their friends that could be the reason [0:19] as to why they want to try out World of [0:21] Warcraft actually yeah you could be [0:23] right that could be a reason as well [0:25] well if you want to play World of [0:27] Warcraft there are two versions of the [0:29] game that you can pick from there's [0:31] retail World of Warcraft or there is [0:33] classic World of Warcraft which is the [0:35] best version that you should play oh my [0:38] God all right all right bro hold on a [0:40] second we can't just go on full scale [0:42] rants as to why they should play our [0:45] version that we suggest of the game why [0:48] don't we do this we'll both have our [0:50] time to share why they should jump into [0:53] either retail or classic wow and then [0:56] the viewer themselves can decide which [0:58] version of the game they wanted jump [1:00] into how does that sound actually that [1:02] sounds perfect I'm looking forward into [1:05] diving into it all right in this video [1:07] we're going to go ahead and dive into [1:08] the two different versions of the game I [1:10] will be supporting retail World of [1:12] Warcraft and I'm going to be repping [1:15] classic wow and spoiler alert I am [1:18] probably kind of like a new player [1:21] sharing my opinion as to which version [1:23] of the game you should jump into we are [1:26] actually new players I started playing [1:28] the game in early February February 2023 [1:31] so we're noobs sharing our opinion but [1:33] regardless I'm giving a very unique [1:35] opinion as to which version of the game [1:38] that you should try out because I'm not [1:40] some hardcore crazy player who's super [1:43] into the game and knows the best way to [1:45] DPS and do the most numbers yeah we [1:48] sometimes don't even know what our [1:49] skills are when we're reading our skill [1:51] bar we are that new exactly and that's [1:54] why this video is probably a little bit [1:56] more unique than some of the other ones [1:58] that are out there on the internet but [2:00] have no fear I have played retail World [2:03] of Warcraft and I am actually playing [2:05] classic wow on Twitch I'll be live [2:07] streaming it there you should check me [2:09] out okay bro listen there's no reason [2:11] for you to start you know sharing the [2:13] twitch channel that early on let's just [2:15] go ahead and jump into the [2:17] [Music] [2:19] video so which version are we going to [2:21] start off with I think we should [2:23] probably start out with the version that [2:25] has been around for the longest [2:28] technically speaking is actually retail [2:31] World of [2:32] Warcraft this version of the game has so [2:34] many updates that have been sprinkled [2:37] into the game over the past 20 years if [2:40] you want to go ahead and try and beat [2:41] the Lich King with an overpowered [2:43] character you can do that in this game [2:46] if you want to play the newest expansion [2:48] that Blizzard Entertainment is [2:50] constantly adding updates on currently [2:52] with this video it's the war within you [2:54] can do that in this video game they're [2:57] constantly adding brand new transmogs [2:59] into to the game for you to acquire in [3:01] new raids seasonal updates all this kind [3:04] of stuff there's always something to do [3:07] within retail wow so what makes it stand [3:09] out compared to its younger little [3:11] sibling classic wow well there's a lot [3:14] more to do in the game there's way more [3:17] classes to pick from at the character [3:18] select screen as well as way more [3:21] customization for your character classic [3:24] is a bit more limited obviously the game [3:26] was made in 2004 and hasn't been updated [3:29] since but with retail wow if you want to [3:32] be a giant dragon walking around in the [3:34] game or maybe you're just looking to [3:35] have more hairstyles to pick from when [3:37] you create your character yeah if you [3:39] want to have dreadlocks as a human you [3:41] can't do that in classic World of [3:42] Warcraft it's only allowed in retail wow [3:45] for the time being I don't know maybe [3:47] they'll make Classic Plus at one point [3:49] and we'll have new character creation [3:51] options but for the time being if you [3:53] want to be a little dreadlock human boy [3:55] you have to play retail wow aside from [3:57] that though when you jump into the game [3:58] you might think okay I'm I'm super far [4:00] behind how am I going to go through the [4:02] game and actually get to the max level [4:05] currently it's level 80 but I don't know [4:07] maybe when you're watching this video [4:08] it's level 100 or 200 who knows well how [4:11] do you catch up Blizzard Entertainment [4:13] makes it very easy for you to actually [4:16] level in the game the main appeal with [4:18] retail wow is for you to actually hit [4:20] max level so that that way you can start [4:22] farming out higher level gear that way [4:25] you can jump into the raids in the game [4:27] or Mythic plus now these are the two [4:30] different I guess I would say endgame [4:32] content that a lot of players jump into [4:34] with raids it's your typical large scale [4:37] player group activity in an instance [4:40] where there are multiple bosses that you [4:42] can defeat and hopefully one of them [4:44] drops those items that you're looking [4:46] for and you have your fingers crossed [4:48] that you win the role to get that item [4:51] raids are some of the most fun I've had [4:53] within World of Warcraft it's one of my [4:56] favorite things that I really like about [4:57] retail and blizzard does a great job at [5:00] tuning it and making it so it's still [5:02] difficult but it's not easy for you to [5:05] kind of steamroll through and if you [5:07] think wow this raid is kind of easy [5:09] there are higher scales you have the [5:11] normal difficulty you have heroic and [5:13] then you have Mythic difficulty wow I've [5:16] only done a couple of Mythic raids [5:19] within World of Warcraft and they're [5:21] actually pretty hard if you don't have a [5:23] good or high enough item level aside [5:26] from raids the other type of content [5:28] that players like to do is called Mythic [5:30] plus this is essentially dungeons that [5:32] are scaled up so if you want to do a [5:35] level two Mythic dungeon that [5:38] essentially means there will be some [5:40] kind of variables that are sprinkled in [5:42] to make it a bit more difficult maybe [5:44] the enemies are a bit more tankier they [5:46] have more Health perhaps you have a [5:48] debuff on your character that makes it a [5:50] little bit more difficult and of course [5:52] the dungeon or Mythic dungeon is timed [5:55] so you can't just kind of steamroll your [5:57] way through take some breaks you know to [5:59] eat some food or I don't know scroll on [6:01] Tik Tok to watch some mless content no [6:04] you got to go through and there's a [6:05] timer that you got to beat if you want [6:07] to get the loot from the Mythic dungeon [6:09] and it constantly scales up which is [6:11] really fun because you could do content [6:13] that is normal you know you used to do [6:16] this dungeon before and you're like ah [6:18] it's easy it's whatever I did it once [6:20] but this is constantly evolving you can [6:22] try and challenge yourself and be like [6:23] okay can I do a level five Mythic [6:26] dungeon or can I actually hit that max [6:28] level of of level 10 for this Mythic [6:30] dungeon or is that too difficult then [6:32] can I only do a level eight for the time [6:34] being this is constantly getting more [6:37] difficult as time goes on of course the [6:39] rewards are a bit better but this is [6:41] something that a lot of players like to [6:42] do but maybe you're a solo player and [6:45] you're like I don't have time to put [6:46] together a group or try and get into a [6:48] guild to run this instance-based content [6:51] how can I enjoy World of Warcraft this [6:53] would be when the delves come into the [6:55] game this is essentially solo instance [6:58] dungeons that you can with NPC [7:00] companions in all honesty like delves [7:03] are fun if you're looking to do it like [7:05] once or twice every once in a while but [7:08] in my opinion it's an MMO RPG game it's [7:11] way more fun when you do instance-based [7:13] content with other players which means [7:16] you can do delves with other players [7:18] it's something that you can consider and [7:20] I would recommend doing this instead [7:22] instead of jumping into it with your NPC [7:25] companion named uh Bran or whatever his [7:27] name is he he's so annoying he he [7:29] doesn't heal me when he needs to but [7:31] whatever he's kind of a meme at this [7:32] point I recommend playing the MMO RPG [7:35] game with other players w you know [7:38] that's crazy and when it comes to [7:40] playing with other players you might [7:41] find that they have some unique looking [7:43] outfits and then you'll ask them how did [7:45] you get this piece of armor where did [7:47] you get this weapon and this is when the [7:49] other element of retail wow comes to [7:52] shine so much brighter compared to its [7:55] little sibling classic with retail World [7:58] of Warcraft there's so much transmog [8:00] this means that there's lots of [8:02] different armor there's lots of [8:03] different weapons and there are tons and [8:06] tons and tons of mounts to collect in [8:08] the game this means that you'll spend a [8:10] lot of time going back through old [8:13] content to put together a unique looking [8:16] appearance for your character I think a [8:19] lot of players really enjoy this aspect [8:22] of retail World of Warcraft so much so [8:25] that when they're done getting together [8:27] an outfit and a a mount that matches [8:30] that outfit for their main character [8:32] they will create an ALT character to [8:34] make a very unique outfit for them so [8:37] that that way when you log into the game [8:39] your War band where all the characters [8:41] are at this kind of campfire area you [8:44] can look at all the characters and be [8:45] like wow I made all of these characters [8:48] they're all decked out in very unique [8:50] appearances that I collected across all [8:52] of Azeroth this is something that is [8:55] truly amazing and to be honest with you [8:58] I think I covered a lot of points as to [9:00] why players like to play retail wow I'm [9:03] sure there are other points that you [9:05] might want to drop in the comment [9:07] section down below but I do know that if [9:09] I take up too much time this guy over [9:12] here is going to be incredibly rude to [9:14] me later so I'll go ahead and stop [9:17] talking let's give the microphone over [9:19] to our classic World of Warcraft fan [9:22] over here and see as to why you should [9:25] play that version of the game all right [9:28] take it away yeah can't believe you [9:29] actually listen to that guy chat for [9:32] that long let's dive into the best [9:34] version of the game classic World of [9:37] Warcraft so classic World of Warcraft is [9:39] the version of the game that people [9:41] literally ruined their lives playing [9:43] they dropped out of college they stopped [9:46] dating their girlfriends they wanted to [9:48] level up and get to endgame within this [9:50] version of the game there's no flying [9:52] mounts in the game you have to run [9:54] everywhere on foot that is until you hit [9:56] Level 40 when you can finally get your [9:58] Mount that means that the game's world [10:01] and scale is so large and massive of [10:04] course you think well I have to run [10:06] everywhere is this just a running [10:08] simulator well it isn't because you can [10:11] unlock flight paths in certain areas but [10:13] the fact that you have to run everywhere [10:15] in the game at first makes the game's [10:18] World feel so immersive and massive for [10:21] you as a player this is something that [10:23] you'll realize classic wow is a bit more [10:26] slower compared to retail wow it's more [10:29] of the journey to leveling up to max [10:32] level than just rushing to max level and [10:35] then doing a bunch of endgame content [10:37] the real journey with classic wow is [10:39] trying to level up and get to level 60 [10:42] there are some classes that you can pick [10:43] from in the game they do have a little [10:45] bit of character customization I know [10:47] the previous guy was chatting about how [10:49] oh there's there's more hair in our [10:51] version of the game who cares bro just [10:53] make your character it doesn't matter [10:55] you're going to deck them out and [10:57] hopefully some good armor drops that you [10:58] get from from different enemies and [11:00] different Dungeons and then eventually [11:02] you'll be running through the game and [11:04] you don't want to get too tied to your [11:06] character if you end up playing the [11:08] hardcore version of the game where if [11:10] you die you have to delete your [11:12] character and go back to level one again [11:15] so who cares about spending an eternity [11:17] at character customization it does not [11:19] matter if essentially if you play [11:21] hardcore wow like you are in the thick [11:23] of it you better be prepared to dive [11:26] into it and maybe lose your character [11:28] unless you're a gig Chad like me who [11:30] hasn't died yeah I'm level 30 right now [11:32] but regardless why should you play [11:34] classic wow the journey is a bit more [11:36] slow it's a it's a really chill game and [11:38] you'll get to understand why MMO RPGs [11:41] are where they are today this version of [11:44] the game is the reason why MMO RPGs [11:47] still exist it's so massively successful [11:50] classic wow that people are still [11:52] playing this old version of the game 20 [11:55] years later that should speak for itself [11:58] the music when you enter Stormwind for [12:01] the first time the experience that you [12:03] get going through deadmines and kind of [12:05] freaking out like am I going to make it [12:07] through exploring the different zones [12:10] within the game that you would normally [12:11] just fly over in retail because you [12:14] quickly hit max level so you didn't have [12:16] to go to Zone to Zone to Zone to level [12:19] when it comes to Classic wow you'll be [12:22] experiencing most of the zones within [12:24] the game of course if you do make an [12:26] alliance character and you never roll on [12:28] over in to The Horde then maybe you [12:30] won't see all the zones but for the most [12:32] part you're going to see a lot more [12:34] compared to retail World of Warcraft [12:36] you're going there because of quests [12:38] you're going there you know to get [12:40] through a map to unlock a flight path in [12:42] the next Zone that is you know [12:44] neighboring it the world within classic [12:47] wow is just I don't know it's just a [12:49] whole lot more immersive than retail wow [12:52] at least in my opinion because you're [12:53] not rushed to some certain area in the [12:55] game to get the end game no you're [12:57] you're slowly leveling and going through [12:59] the game world I recommend a couple of [13:01] add-ons though if you're going to play [13:03] classic World of Warcraft one of them is [13:05] called questy and the other one is [13:07] called voiceover it essentially will [13:10] voice over the text that a lot of people [13:13] will just skip over when it comes to [13:14] Quest but if you want a AI voice that [13:17] actually does a pretty fairly decent job [13:20] at voicing the quest if you want them to [13:22] essentially voice over the quest and [13:25] read things out loud I would install [13:27] this add-on because it makes The Quest [13:29] thing and the experience with it way [13:31] more better in my opinion aside from [13:33] that though there is endgame content if [13:35] you make it to the end they do have big [13:38] big big raids like way more players than [13:40] you would actually experience in retail [13:42] World of Warcraft see with classic they [13:45] had larger scale raids I think it was [13:47] with 50 or 40 people I'm still new I'm [13:50] I'm still only level 30 so hey you go [13:52] easy on me but I think the larger scale [13:55] with more players in a raid makes it all [13:57] the more epic I think with classic wow [13:59] it's it's more simple you know there's [14:01] not tons of skills within your skill bar [14:03] there's only the set from Level 1 to 60 [14:06] obviously with retail wow they have [14:08] sprinkled in a bunch of things like oh [14:09] you have you know like different skills [14:11] that you can pick and there's there's [14:13] more talentry things that you can deck [14:15] out and it's just way more confusing I [14:17] feel like with with classic wow it's a [14:19] bit more tamed down you have still the [14:22] talent points that you can kind of build [14:23] out a different tree and different [14:25] skills and obviously your skill bar will [14:27] look pretty loaded if you want it to but [14:30] it's still dumbed down in a way that is [14:33] a bit more simple to understand there's [14:35] a reason why people stick around with [14:37] classic because it feels cozy this is [14:39] something that a lot of players love to [14:41] experience the music the the different [14:44] content and of course when you're [14:45] playing through the dungeons within [14:47] classic most of the time you're within [14:49] the level bracket so it's going to be a [14:50] challenge for you or at least other [14:52] players within your group when you're [14:54] doing instance-based content the main [14:57] appeal with classic is just no knowing [14:59] that this game led to so many other MMO [15:02] RPGs rising from the ground up there [15:04] wouldn't be a Guild Wars 2 if classic [15:07] wow didn't do so well there wouldn't be [15:09] new world or even any other MMO RPG that [15:12] is out there and that has been [15:13] influenced by classic wow it wouldn't [15:16] exist without this game and that's why [15:19] this game is worth playing at the end of [15:21] the day now of course you can't really [15:23] deck out your character in transmog but [15:26] that does not mean that blizzard isn't [15:28] thinking and in the kitchen with Classic [15:31] Plus and I think I'll spend a quick [15:33] minute chatting about what Classic Plus [15:34] is everyone really loves classic World [15:36] of Warcraft this is their favorite [15:38] version of the game they still play it [15:39] to this day and it's constantly fun [15:41] because when they hit the 60 they go [15:43] okay do I want to try out you know the [15:45] hardcore version or reroll another [15:47] character blizzard knows though that [15:49] this version of the game isn't forever [15:51] people will churn out eventually when [15:53] you hit Level 60 when you do the raids [15:55] when you get the best gear you'll [15:56] probably stop playing the game unless [15:57] you make another character or play with [15:59] a friend or or join a guild it's very [16:01] important to play this game with other [16:02] players I highly suggest it but they are [16:04] thinking about probably doing something [16:06] what they call Classic Plus is what the [16:08] community is saying it's essentially [16:09] taking what classic World of Warcraft is [16:11] and building onto it basically adding on [16:14] new content new expansions all that kind [16:16] of stuff within classic World of [16:18] Warcraft and that's very exciting that [16:19] could mean that the formula of what [16:22] makes classic World of Warcraft really [16:24] good fun and exciting they're not over [16:26] complicating things they're just adding [16:28] more content within the game maybe [16:29] that's more endgame content for you to [16:31] dive into maybe it's more um you know [16:34] middleof the road content for level 30s [16:36] 20s 40s we really don't know what it is [16:38] but we do know that blizzard is trying [16:41] things out they tried it with season of [16:43] discovery which is like an off-brand [16:44] version of classic wow and of course [16:46] they are doing that re-release of brand [16:49] new servers where if you do want to [16:51] continue playing the classic wow you can [16:53] jump into burning Crusade later on in [16:55] 2025 and I don't know maybe we'll have [16:58] Wrath of the L in 2026 like classic is [17:01] really exciting and Blizzard [17:03] Entertainment knows that a lot of people [17:05] really like this version of the game [17:07] it's hard to explain why classic is good [17:09] because if you look at the the gameplay [17:11] you're like this looks kind of boring it [17:13] it it seems like it kind of plays by [17:15] itself but I promise you if you dive [17:17] into classic wow you get to at least [17:19] beating deadmines like past level 20 [17:22] it'll click For You especially if you're [17:24] looking for a challenge I highly [17:25] recommend diving into hardcore wow it is [17:28] like my favorite version of the game [17:30] especially if you don't know what you're [17:31] doing every little encounter with a [17:34] murlock or or any anything in the game [17:37] has you on edge because you know if you [17:39] die you're going back to level one and [17:41] essentially this is why I recommend [17:43] classic wow maybe you have some [17:45] recommendations yourselves or advice as [17:47] to why you play classic wow be sure to [17:50] leave it in the comment section down [17:51] below I do read every single comment I [17:53] do want to take a moment to thank my [17:55] patreon supporters it's only one person [17:57] thank you very much SAS pass I [17:59] appreciate you so you're nearing the end [18:01] of the video and this is where we want [18:03] to know what version of wow are you [18:05] going to pick are you going to jump into [18:07] retail World of Warcraft or are you [18:09] going to jump into classic wow or are [18:11] you going to jump into both let us know [18:14] in the comments section down below and [18:16] thank you very much for watching to the [18:18] end as always stayed gamers [18:23] [Music] [18:31] he [18:32] [Music]
