## Summary

This video provides a step-by-step guide on setting up conversion tracking in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to monitor high-value page visits and understand user acquisition channels.

### Key Points

- **Setting Up a Custom Event** [00:00] — Navigate to Admin > Property > Events > Create Event. Define parameters to track visits to a specific page (e.g., recommended gear page) and the traffic source.
- **Creating a Conversion Event** [00:30] — In the same Property column, go to Conversions > New Conversion Event. Use the event name created earlier to mark it as a conversion.
- **Validating the Setup** [01:00] — Check Real-Time reports to confirm the event and conversion appear. Data collection begins immediately.
- **Analyzing Conversion Paths** [01:30] — In Advertising > Conversion Paths, view touchpoints and user journeys that led to conversions, available after data accumulates.

### Conclusion

By following these steps, you can effectively track conversions in GA4, enabling analysis of user behavior and optimization of marketing efforts.
