[0:00] oh hey guys my name is a metal goblin [0:12] and today I'm going to be counting down [0:13] the top 10 add-ons you need for raiding [0:15] in classic Wow [0:17] just Before we jump in guys please do [0:19] give me a quick Florent which I'll be [0:21] streaming a lot of my rating over quite [0:23] soon so for the first add-on I want to [0:25] get a little bit of a topic out of the [0:26] way because I'm going to be talking [0:27] about DBM my general recommendation with [0:30] deadly boss modes is I wouldn't [0:31] recommend downloading it until you've at [0:34] least done 4 dungeons and the raids at [0:36] least once [0:37] the thing is DBM makes the raids [0:39] ridiculously easy and obviously in [0:41] vanilla [0:42] especially during phase 1 the mechanics [0:44] are fairly limited so I'd recommend [0:45] jumping into the raids without deadly [0:48] boss modes active for your first trial [0:50] and then when you've got the Reds on [0:52] farm then yeah fair enough download [0:54] download deadly boss mode that when we [0:55] progressed into phase free when the [0:57] raids get a little bit more difficult [0:58] and again you know that would be my [1:01] recommendation to get deadly boss modes [1:03] of always you are just making raids a [1:04] little bit too easy for yourself [1:05] basically so that's my German [1:07] recommendation anyway let's move on next [1:09] I'm going to show you a very simple [1:10] threat add-on which is extremely [1:12] essential it's called classic threat [1:14] meter so I'm going to get into combat to [1:16] kind of show this out and off as you can [1:18] see I have the main thing you pay [1:20] attention to when it comes to framing [1:21] afraid front knee is here and the main [1:23] thing you really pay attention to is the [1:25] percentage on the right so you obviously [1:28] don't want to pull threats off a tank [1:30] which means you avoid going to hundred [1:32] percent because you have 100 percent [1:33] that means you're gonna Paul fret so [1:37] before I move on I won't need to talk [1:39] about obviously at Nick's ear a lot of [1:40] time in a nick seer a raid leader will [1:42] tell you to only do wide damage or very [1:44] slow damage on a Nick's here but um the [1:46] thing is if the worry knows how to play [1:47] is class and that rogue knows how to [1:49] play his class [1:50] the rogue or any other DPS shouldn't [1:52] pull aggro from the warrior okay [1:54] especially if you're a rogue in all [1:56] honesty if I go boss the wall of my DPS [1:59] I never pull aggro off via tank anyway [2:02] without even using faint but obviously I [2:05] need this fret meter installed just to [2:07] be on the safe side [2:09] event like if I start pulling too much [2:11] fret for now he's a feint I'll use a [2:12] vanish it basically means I can optimize [2:14] my DPS much more by obviously keeping [2:17] the read safe by not pulling aggro from [2:19] the tank next I don't we have is we [2:21] cores which is a really big extensive [2:23] add-on which would take me you know an [2:25] individual with video for me to fully [2:27] cover basically we core is what it was [2:29] do it will show certain animations on [2:31] the screen certain colors whatever you [2:33] want when certain things happen that's [2:35] kind of like the shorthand of it really [2:38] so you can say for instance if you [2:40] you're one of your abilities procs you [2:42] can put something in the screen to [2:44] display that or what needs more use for [2:47] is when boss bosses do certain thing so [2:50] for instance when bosses go into [2:51] different phases when boss has gained [2:53] certain buffs and when a certain [2:55] specific mechanics gone on in the raid [2:57] when you can display a little [2:58] notification on the screen to remind you [3:00] of that happening so it makes raiding [3:03] much much easier [3:04] again it's not think it's essential and [3:06] phase one because the raids are so easy [3:08] but when we start progressing into you [3:10] know phase free and garage especially [3:13] now drummers then this add-on will [3:14] probably see a lot more use and the next [3:17] item I'm gonna show you is one of my [3:18] favorite items it's called tell me when [3:20] so what it is is a little bar here where [3:22] you can display certain buffs you can [3:24] just you can keep track of debuff us as [3:26] well or enemy buffs literally everything [3:29] can be tracked we have tell me when the [3:31] main thing I use this for is mainly [3:33] tracking my own like kinda buffs like [3:35] slice and dice for it's a pretty [3:37] straightforward you right-click it you [3:39] know you're putting your buffs here and [3:41] then you kind of put a timer on and then [3:44] like now if I go into combat I will [3:47] basically get like a little slice and [3:49] dice time I so I can track precisely [3:51] when I need to refresh slice and dice [3:53] next add-on is an extremely useful [3:55] add-on primarily for healers and it's [3:58] called D cursive as you can see this [3:59] little box here is and basically that is [4:02] displaying a individual player and [4:05] basically if I had more players like in [4:07] my group there would be little different [4:09] boxes and they will display like [4:11] different colors thing on what kind of [4:13] debuff they have for instance if it [4:15] occurs [4:16] poison effect magic effect disease [4:19] effect and therefore you can very [4:21] quickly and easily start the cursing [4:23] people a lot of the time in raiding [4:26] situations d cursing someone is even [4:29] more important by naturally healing them [4:31] to top health so that is something to [4:33] bear in mind so next I'm going to talk [4:35] about two add-ons that go kind of [4:37] hand-in-hand the very classic order [4:39] durations and Omni CC basic classic [4:41] horror durations will display d buffs on [4:44] the target which you know classic [4:46] doesn't do by default and Omni CC takes [4:48] a little bit further by making like big [4:50] crowd control effects and easier to see [4:53] with a little timer because classic aura [4:54] durations doesn't show a timer on the [4:57] enemy unit frame bobs the Omni CC also [5:00] doesn't show duration so you need to [5:02] stack these two add-ons together to get [5:04] the maximum like usefulness out of it so [5:06] for instance if I'm gonna stop this guy [5:08] here I can see that timer there I can [5:10] also see it down there and you know if I [5:12] stun this target here I can also see it [5:16] that so that's classic Omni CC but then [5:18] like if I display if I do some D bobs [5:21] which I'm pretty sure I don't actually [5:23] have cuz I'm not trained to them but if [5:24] I use gouge like that you know I can see [5:25] gouge there if Ed crippling poison now [5:28] it also here to see stuff live down so [5:30] Bob's your uncle [5:31] the next item we have is another one of [5:33] my favorites it's very simply called [5:35] character stats classic and what it will [5:37] do is display detailed information in [5:40] the character window you know of your [5:41] stats pretty much exactly what you get [5:44] from retail so as you can see in this [5:46] mellow window here I can see my precise [5:48] crit chance I can see my hit chance if I [5:51] go to defenses I can see like everything [5:54] individually rather than go into the [5:55] spell book and it's just generally a lot [5:58] more useful and you know I can even see [6:00] mana regeneration and stuff like that [6:02] the next item we have a very quick one [6:04] it's called real mob health what it does [6:07] is pretty much what it says on the tin [6:09] as you can see my enemy unit frame on [6:11] this anvil rage overseer I can see [6:14] precisely myself and very creepily it is [6:16] four sixes but oh well think the Baron [6:19] mind of this add-on is it can sometimes [6:21] be kind of inaccurate if it doesn't have [6:23] the health data or sometimes basically [6:25] when you get into combat and kill and [6:27] what can collate what bar enemy's health [6:30] was based on my mouth damage he did [6:32] before it died and then the next time [6:33] you got to kill that mob you will build [6:35] you'll basically have the data for that [6:37] mob but this is an add-on I recommend to [6:40] keep up to date because obviously the [6:43] database over time is updating so you [6:46] will get more detailed information on [6:48] different mobs and their health balls so [6:50] to display the next on I need to quickly [6:52] get into combat with this fire guard [6:54] because it's very simple I don't it is [6:55] called classic cast bars and when this [6:59] fire guard [7:00] gets out of you know a storm he'll [7:02] probably start casting scorch of me and [7:04] they can very clearly see the casbah [7:06] right underneath his uniform and they're [7:11] guys but worried in fact this one was [7:13] not going to be a cast bomb but as you [7:14] can see it's pretty much exactly the [7:16] same as it is in retail so but it's [7:18] definitely very very very useful but hey [7:21] guys the reason why I am in BRD killing [7:23] fire guards is because we have a very [7:25] slight chance to drop an extremely [7:28] expensive reagent called thanks [7:31] elemental was elemental fire and vision [7:33] of one that is like as a similar surname [7:36] to it but it's a white item visa fee [7:38] there's like two items I dropped from [7:40] fire guards which sell for about four [7:42] gold each on my server so I've been in [7:44] here pickpocketing and killing fire [7:46] guards it is a pretty effective way to [7:48] make money as a rogue or possibly any [7:50] other cost but anyway about is just a [7:52] little bonus icing on the cake rambling [7:54] point at the end of this video but I is [7:56] where I'm gonna end the video so my name [7:58] is Ahmet a couple into my next video [7:59] ciao [8:03] you
