## Summary

Mark Rober hosts the first annual Crunch Lab Cheat the Casino Game, where top science and tech YouTubers compete in classic casino games using clever engineering cheats. The event is a battle of wits between cheaters and security, culminating in a $10,000 charity prize and a dramatic heist of the cash.

### Key Points

- **Event Setup and Rules** [00:00] — Mark Rober invites internet's smartest creators to compete for $10,000 in a casino-themed competition. Two rules: use engineering to cheat but if caught, play fair; Michael Reeves is banned from entering.
- **Casino Games and Surveillance** [01:59] — The event features poker, blackjack, craps, and roulette. Security uses 62 cameras and computer vision algorithms, with 95% of computing power dedicated to preventing Michael Reeves from sneaking in.
- **Kevin Kota's Robot Chip** [03:13] — Kevin Kota uses a hollowed-out poker chip robot with a coin cell powered PCB, controlled by a garage door remote. The motor is from a phone's vibration motor with the offset weight removed and replaced with a wheel.
- **Tom's Card Scanning Camera** [05:20] — Tom uses a camera up his sleeve to scan the deck when presented for cutting, indexing the entire deck. This technique was famously used in 2011 to win millions in Las Vegas.
- **Other Cheating Techniques** [06:39] — Teams use infrared ink pens in fake thumbs with special contact lenses, a remote-controlled roulette ball with an electromagnet, and a card reading device disguised as a phone that reads barcode-like dots on card edges.
- **David's Marked Cards Glasses** [08:41] — David uses glasses that allow him to see the back of cards, which are marked with light green ink. The ink is invisible normally but visible through red-tinted glasses due to color wheel opposition.
- **Nate's Loaded Dice** [11:53] — Nate crafts dice that are more likely to roll sevens. The dice have numbers arranged so the lowest possible roll is five and the highest is nine, with seven being the most likely outcome.
- **Becky's Distraction Business** [14:36] — Becky Stern acts as a 'distraction broker', selling distractions like a card launcher and remote-controlled rack to other cheaters. She uses these to divert attention while others cheat.
- **Counterfeit Chips and UV Markings** [16:32] — Official Crunchbuck chips have UV reflecting stars. Daniel fabricates counterfeit chips in the bathroom, but they lack the UV star, leading to his detection.
- **Dora's Heat-Activated Loaded Dice** [20:32] — Dora uses dice filled with wax and steel ball bearings. A heating pad in her gloves melts the wax, allowing the ball to shift to a new position, making the dice reprogrammable to land on desired numbers.
- **The Money Heist** [23:28] — The $10,000 cash is swapped with cake via a trapdoor and conveyor belt. The thief is revealed to be Hank Green, who used a distraction to swap the money and hid it in a vase.
- **Engineering Lesson** [32:55] — Mark emphasizes that all confiscated cheats were not first attempts. Great engineers build and redesign repeatedly, using tools like Onshape for cloud-based CAD design.

## Transcript

I invited all the internet's smartest creators to compete for $10,000 in the first ever Teach the Casino Games! Where they'll go head to head in all the classic casino games with the catch that they could teach using clever engineering as long as they didn't get caught.
Yeah! Selfie! Peace! And while I knew I'd be surrounded by ingenious rule breakers, what I never suspected was that one of the cheaters would spend a month preparing the ultimate engineering double cross,
cross, undermining the entire competition and turning the whole night's heat on its head. Who stole the money? Hi everyone, welcome to the first annual Crunch Lab Cheat the Casino Game.
Science Ball Poop Builders, my pit boss, also have Bam from Crunch Lab, head of security. Now something none of you knew is that whoever gets the most chips tonight will be earning with the charity of their choice, $10,000 in cash!
You're probably wondering where the cash is. So am I, Science Bob. That was supposed to be a dramatic reveal. Sorry, sorry. I wanted more of like a walking. Bring it in, guys. Okay, here it is. Thank you, security. I had the internet's most trusted science teacher here yesterday
to verify this was real cash. Hey, Green, is that right? 100%? Tonight, you should just know there are two rules and two rules only. Number one, you can use whatever engineering device you make to cheat, but if I find it, it will complicate it, and you have to play fair.
And number two, you'll be forbidden to enter and permanently banned if you are Michael Reed. I'm sorry, Michael. I don't know why you were planning, but I know it's way too unhinged for my channel.
I don't make the rules, Michael. You're joking. You're joking. Let the games begin!
This was easily the biggest party Crunch Labs had ever seen. Hi, Tom. Welcome to your party. There's a lot of people in here. With my many friends in the science and tech YouTube space, here to enjoy four classic casino games.
Poker, blackjack, craps, and roulette. Now to the gate, the blackjack table. Well, hey everyone. He's my suspicion. How are we doing? To begin my hunt for a cheater, I was looking for strong hands, odd behavior, and ringing
strings. Oh, look at that. How'd you do that? Anything unusual can be a sign of foul play. And fortunately, I wasn't working alone. Sam caught something through our complex system of 62 cameras and computer vision algorithms,
which I affectionately call the Michael Reeves AI Phase Detection Defense System, where 95% of the Computer Power is dedicated to making sure Michael Reeves could not sneak back in, leaving the remaining 5% reserved for watching and waiting for cheaters to strike.
Haven't lost yet, let's go. And we didn't have to wait that long. Oh good, I'm on that, that's awesome. Because at the roulette table, Kevin Kota somehow hadn't lost a single game. There you go, I'm sure you did. Which is strange, because in roulette you physically place your money on either a red
for a black space, and if the ball lands on your cover, you double your money. But if it doesn't, you lose it all. Meaning on average, you should be losing about half the car. I got an idea. I decided to take a closer look by using a stylish pair of sunglasses
that also doubled as a covert spy tool through mirrored lenses that would let me face away from the table while still getting a perfect view of the gameplay, allowing me to play detective while looking totally natural to a nearby layperson.
Totally natural. Oh, I'm in black. Um, excuse me.
Oh, hello. I happen to notice something at this table with my reversing glasses. So, do you mind if I look at your chips? Yeah, you can take a gander.
Oh, you filthy, genius piece. This thing drives itself? Drives itself. What is this?
That's incredible! We left the 50-50 game, but if you ever buy a poker chip, it lands on the correct colors every time. Don't worry, I'm going to be more glad if this doesn't get ruined.
Keep racking them in, one at a time. Now the truly ingenious part of Kevin's hollowed out poker chip robot was that it's a coin cell powered custom printed circuit board or that it receives commands from what's essentially a garage door remote.
It's the fact that the training motor to use came out of your phone because you removed the offset weight from the silent call vibration motor and replaced it with a wheel. You repeat that three more times, you can drive anywhere you want, and relax becomes a solved game.
Good luck catching this. I love it! And it's now mine! Right on! No! With the remote! Are these all your shit? They're mine, yeah. I was breaking them in until you caught me.
You're going to keep those. and I didn't see the video. I was like, we got a cheater! We got a cheater! But I made it to the victory last year soon because while catching Kevin Koda, I could completely miss a different sneaky cheater
at the blackjack game. I'm Tom. My cheat is a camera up the sleeve when he presents a deck for me to cut. My friends, I'm going to laptop indexing the entire deck for me. I guarantee to win every single time. And I should have
thought of this because famously in 2011, a high-tech shooter won millions using this exact device in Las Vegas. And because one person would scan, while a second person would analyze the data, and a third would place the correct bets,
you gotta wait stop-free. And since I completely missed Tom's cheat, I mind if I cut the deck real quick? Yeah, good luck. he is free to rack up his ill-gotten chip. I was gonna have to pick up the pace, because tonight, we were the house.
Some of you look very suspicious. And like every other casino in the world, the house always wins. And by the way, they don't just barely win. The casino industry around the world rakes in $1 billion every single day.
And worse yet, 90% of that billion comes from 10% of the population, which repeated studies show are all the people that have clinical gambling addiction. So the entire industry is predatory, and statistically speaking,
spending enough time in a casino will make you a guaranteed loser. And this is why casinos spend so much money on gambling surveillance systems. Because if anyone is consistently winning their money, the only possible explanation is their teeth.
And when you see just how clever some of these kids are, it's real hard not to root for the underdog. For example, one team managed to disguise an infrared ink pen inside a fake thumb that they then used to secretly mark all the best cards.
Then by using special infrared contact lenses, the marking became obvious only to that or another group built a remote-controlled roulette ball with an internal electromagnet that would slam the ball down as soon as it passed over the correct color.
or even a very simple custom built card reading device disguised as a phone that can read these tiny random dots along the edge of each card. Which might seem impossible, but in reality, this is exactly how every single barcode scanner works.
By the way, that barcode crunching was brought to you by a giant version of my brand new toy, the Crunchinator. Which is a space from your very own Atom Hydraulic Crunch, where you can multiply your strength by 30 and crunch whatever you want.
Now conveniently found at a store near you. So I clearly had my work cut out for me tonight, but I wasn't alone because I had my highly trusted pit boss. Hi Bob, what do we see? Uh, so far it looks like everyone's having fun, winning money, and...
No, it's like cheaters. You're looking for cheaters. Oh, that's right. I'll start that now. Sorry, I just... It's the pit boss. I'm sorry. I find your literal one job, Bob. But whatever these cheaters were hiding, they hid it well.
Six three, eleven on six. What happened to my cheaters? And I ended up keeping a watchful eye over some pretty mundane table conversations.
To help with my boredom, I decided to randomly hone in on David, a creator who didn use to be forced to Tom Cruise you I really like your glasses Thank you very much Do you always wear them I a theater kid so it all right here The eyes are the windows of the soul
Can I try? Absolutely. Are you, you know... I'm not a betting man, so my guess is this is a king.
And I bet first and last, it's a winner. Three, a four, and a six, or a nine. Because you can see what the cards are using these glasses somehow. I'm Davis, and I have these special glasses that allow me to see the back of everyone's cards
and know what their actual values are. And that's because Davis learned a way to write the value of the card with a very light green ink on the back of our otherwise fully red playing cards. So if you need them to use red sitting glasses, the green writing jumps out
because it's on the exact opposite side of the color wheel and absorbs almost all red weight. So in order to use these more cards, we arrived early in the event and bribed the dealers to swap them for our standard playing cards.
But despite all this cheating... You literally know every card and this is all you have? I'm really bad at poker. Well, these are mine now. Put them in.
The house always wins. The house always wins. But with two cheaters down, I was feeling good. But unfortunately, my newfound confidence made me miss the flagrant rule violation happening right under my nose. 14 inches under my nose, to be exact.
Oh, hey, man. It's me, Mark Grover. Do you know that if you put a fist into the body of a cat, it would die? And the science behind that might surprise you. Catch you later. It's me, Mark Grover. Look at my abs. If you're wondering how this happened, given our Michael Reeves AI-based detection defense system,
you know if you hit a kid with a shovel-weight Silverado? I can assure you it was working flawlessly. Because earlier that night when Michael tried to sneak in as a waiter... I know. Can I get you anything to drink or... It successfully flagged him and Bam called it in.
Come on! Yeah! Yeah! He's got such juicy pecs, bro! I just wanna get his abs! And it did the same thing when he tried to come in as a backup pit boss. Can I order air? Not a thing! I'm sorry.
I'm sorry. I'm sorry. What are you doing? Ow! Ah! It's time to see if Bam had missed the warning because she's been busy Yes, please trying out the dessert cart. But in fairness, You had the angel fruit cake yet?
Sure, I did. The dessert cart treats were really delicious and a magnet for Jesus. Awesome. Here's where I can lose my money next. Okay. Now, something was going on there where I got really lucky. Really? Apparently, Nate Scovel was having a lot of luck
with the number seven. I don't even know what I'm doing. So I decided to take a closer look into myself. Seven. Hey, Mark. Now, my presence didn't seem to phase me.
That is until he rolled another seven. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Let me see on the side. A lot of tuggies potentially loaded. That looks pretty bad. Oh, no. Look at these guys.
Four, five, six on one side. Four, five, six on the other. One, two, three. One, two, three. How does that help you? I'm Nate Sobel and I made dice that are more likely to roll sevens. Basically, Nate spent a week meticulously crafting these fake dice.
Because in craps, getting a seven on your first roll instantly doubles your money. And once you drink dice, you've more than doubled the chances of getting a seven. Because the lowest possible total you can get is a five, combining a one and a four.
And the highest possible total you can roll is a nine, combining a six and a three. So all your possible dice rolls are between a five and a nine, with seven being the most likely. You dirty scoundrel!
Bam! How much money have you won? Where's all your chips? But even if you double your chances, it's still a game of chance. And sometimes, you just get unlucky. Five! Mark, it's five! Five! Eight! Nine! Five! Eight!
Nine! Ten! Ten! Wait, that's it? Actually, here, you can have all that. Just keep them. Just keep them. That does not feel great. I need 507. With another word on the board, I apparently had to remind everyone just exactly who they
were messing with. It's me, Mark Rober. Look at my awesome abs. It's me, Mark. Hey! Hey! Welcome to the event, bud. Now, let me tell you what's going on. It's security! This is Michael Reed. I don't know who that is.
Can you guys get him out of here? Ask a question only, Mark Roberwood. How far away is Mark? Oh, easy. How far? How far? 140,267,924 miles.
That's not fair. He's Mark Roberwood. Get him out of here! Get him out of here! It's going to take a lot more than a teeny muscle suit and a nine-inch lift to take down our security. I'll get in there someday, Mark. I'll get in there someday.
I was losing control of the knife, and the harder I tried, let me see those glasses, the more I came up empty-handed. Actually, these kind of help. And just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, You made your own identity. Becky Stern made an announcement
that changed everything. And the doctor made the joke. Tonight, you'll always know when to hold them, know when to fold them. They're just unbelievable, and you are too evil and pathetic. And finally,
I saved the best for last. Mark, we're going to buy every single person in this room a new ribbon. You can have it. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you.
I love you. I love you. I love you. Oh, gosh. Oh. Oh. I'm sorry. You can put a ribbon in Mark.
No, no, no, no, Mark. That's not true. While it might have looked like Becky's speech was just an excuse to get herself a rivian, the truth was far more sinister, because earlier that night, I had caught her, wait, spewing cards.
What was that? Let me see the back of those cards. I've seen those. Aha! In fact, all night, I've been finding cards for them before. What are all these cards doing here? I don't know. I'm collecting. And it turns out, it was Becky all along.
What is this? This is my card launcher. Becky and Hatch, as Uno attacks Spencer into remote-controlled 52-card pickups. But she wasn't using Consent Sheets. I'm not actually playing, I'm just watching.
Why would you have a card launcher? To distract people. I'm Becky. I'm the distraction broker. I have these business cards, and they have our menu of distractions. My card launcher for $250. A remote-controlled rack for $150.
The one I'm the most curious about on here is passing down. I have a device. Don't you have a farting device? and that's my strategy because I really can't get caught. So I can't take your advice because you're not actually cheating with it. Other cheaters are just paying you to make distractions.
Right. It's all because I can't keep a poker face and I'm like, how do I be successful in this environment? My best chance is to sell the distractions rather than trying to win the chips myself. That's a dirty loophole if you know it. But my hands are tied.
Bad luck. Something told me all that glass was part of a distraction. That's something being Kevin. I think all that glass was a distraction. It was. She's a distraction broker. I know, Mark. She's trying to do something. I don't know what her plan is.
I'm going to do something while that happens. I'm holding onto my chair. I'm just helping. Deb and I rushed upstairs to try and figure out who would use Becky to gain an edge. But there were no weird contraptions or unusual gameplay at any of the tables.
It seemed like the culprit might just get away. But then Bob finally decided to do his job and uncovered some sketchy business. They're over at that table right there. The one in the bright horse stand? Yeah, there's no way they can make that much money in the time that they play.
Hey, he's got a lot of money! And while having a lot of chips doesn't make you a cheater, randomly pulling them from your pocket doesn't help your case. Can I swap these? Wait. Turn off the lights!
This was a cheat I'd actually anticipated, because making counterfeit poker chips is one of the oldest tricks in the book, and it's why the actual design of casino chips is a tightly guarded secret. secret. A single ceramic poker
ship is loaded with RFID tags, UV markings, microtechs, and holograms. And my ships had a little secret of their own. You'll notice all of the official Crunchbuck ships have a UV
reflecting star on them. And yet, these ships don't have such a star. Give me everything you've got. Let me see all these. A million dollar ship!
Come on! I got it, I got it, I got it. We were getting close to giving away the money, but the way this started going, I was terrified of the final stretch Ah okay we coming up on the last hand here I know Dispected The distraction started coming strong
My tightly controlled casino was starting to become a madhouse. We can't have that. We're doing that. We're going to try to do that. And we knew there were more cheaters still on the floor. Even guests were starting to hit me off.
They're going to hit me on the head. But when I confronted them... Are you kind of saying you stopped hitting me on the head? What did I do? They wasted so much of my time playing dumb. Alan!
I don't know what happened. I just kept going all in and it kept working. Then I missed the other chief right behind my back, like Christina Ernst, who had a garter belt that helped her count cards. My name is Christina.
I'm the creator behind Shoebills Robots, and I want to sit back, relax, and enjoy the party. So I programmed this garter to do card counting for me. I'll be manually inputting the cards that I have, and then we'll get a little visual LED feedback
I bought my next piece of paper. Oh, my goodness. I got a double. Oh, my goodness. Thank you very much. I did not get caught. I met Brock, who had the ridiculous act of just bringing in only two for some reason.
My hack was the simplest of all, plain of hand. There's a secret card above the table here. Somebody else on my table drew two of the same cards. Get lost! They called the pit boss, but after 15 minutes of trying to figure it out, they still didn't catch it.
and I really wanted to catch one more cheater before time ran out. So I honed in on one table and one person that seemed to be luckier than she was. Wow. I need a box and a field ball. Yay!
Oh! Yes! Did you win? Thank you. I was only thrilled by him twice in a row. Can I see the dice? They look a little suspect. And that's because I was almost certainly holding a pair of loaded dice.
Now when the dice are loaded, it simply means the center of mass is shifted away from the number you want to land face up. If the lower center is down, just like a Weevil Wobble, that side always lands on the bottom.
And I remember reading once, this is done by hollowing out the part of the dice under the desired number. But that lower density means they'll float like an ice cream. Hold on a second, can I have a drink? Thank you.
Wait, what? Now there's less. There's a place to float. Thank you. Hi! I still get money. There's something fishy here.
But after having Pam check the footage, it turns out Dora was winning with different numbers throughout the night. Ten, nine, eight, five, four, three, two, one. Yes! Clearly ruling out my way to Christ, Siri, as I left to announce,
everyone else is turning the chips now. It was time to count the chips to see who our top three earners were. And out of those three, which one would be earning the $10,000 for the charity of their choice?
Okay, the results are in. The three top chip winners, Dora. Okay, so Dora, were you cheating? Wait, wait, shake my hand.
Was I cheating? Whoa, that's a hot landing. What was that about? I knew it was something with the dice. Because these weren't just loaded dice, they were heat-activated loaded dice.
Basically, the core of the dice is filled with wax, which when solidified holds heavy steel ball bearings in place. So when she held the dice in her hand, the 10-watt silicone eating pad she concealed in her fancy gloves would melt the wax,
allowing the steel ball to sink to a new position opposite the desired number she wanted to roll, meaning they were passively reprogrammable to land on whatever face she wanted, which is why it was impossible for us to detect the pattern.
Holy crap, that's stupid. Well done, well done, well done. And our next winner, Daniel, get up here. Okay, Daniel, were you cheating? No. Okay, were you cheating?
Yeah. And what was your trick? Fabricating chips. Wow. In the bathroom. Ew. Even though I've taken away all the chips Daniel had on him,
Every time he went to the bathroom, he was just making more. Mark just sent over the invite for his casino night. And if we look at the corner, we can see what the chips look like. If I can order all the supplies, I need to make them. This is the semi-convincing asset manufacturing case.
Inside, I have everything I need to create a fake poker chip in the bathroom. Junior. All right, and the last one, Alan Brown.
Alan, did you see? No. No, but like, really? Really? Really? This is actually bizarre. I don't know why I'm here.
And yeah, this was true, too. How did this work? I have two of these. What is that? Alan, I just got done working. Oh, he's got two more. Alan, what?
I have so many clips now. There's ten and a nine. What is that? Oh, my gosh. Yay! This is so many. I love those. I actually don't know what that is.
Okay, well, let's all hope Alan doesn't win. Bob, at the minute it was time to reward the top hacker of the night, the first ever Crunch Lab Cheap and Steal Games winner is...
Thor! It's the minute everything changed. I know you're a sucker. It's Kate! It's Kate! Who stole the money?
Did anyone see anything at any moment? Science Bob, get everyone out of here. Here's the system as they leave.
Make sure they don't leave the premises. We're going to figure this out. Everyone clear out. We'll figure this out. I'm sorry. I haven't eaten all night. It's actually really good. The horrors of what had transpired here really dawned on me.
This cake! I vowed I wouldn't let whoever stole this money for charity get away with it. And what we would discover would shake the very foundations of Science YouTube forever.
A cake. And the first clue was obvious. The cake, right? The cake money? How did it get swapped out? This thief was obviously a baker. Is this the man? Oh!
I was trying to pick up the cake, but there's actually just like a trap door here. And then there's a trap door. Let's take this out. The obvious question is... Where does it go? Oh! You have a whole new world! Whoa! There's a conveyor belt?
The money fell down and it took it somewhere. A hidden conveyor belt meant that we were probably at the start of a very long search for the- Hey! The money! We found the money! We found it! Oh, so it's not gone! What's it?
It's J.P. Kelley! Yeah! This person is trolling with us! If our thief wasn't back to troll, it narrowed the suspect list down to about one person. Did Michael even do this? He had a motivation?
I will say suspect number one. So from here it has to have gone somewhere. We need to watch the security footage. That's a great idea. We need to see someone being suspicious around this area. We had to record every single thing that happened that night.
And this is how we would figure out who swapped the money with this delicious... Hey, a lot of cake, Mark. I told you. It's time to get to work before I ate the rest of the evidence. But before we do that...
Alright, if you want to try and figure out who stole the money, everything you need to solve the mystery you've already seen in this video. So this is your last chance to go back and Scooby-Doo yourself. Otherwise, here's how we did it.
Dang it. We should take a look at this page. Thankfully, the money was under constant surveillance, which begs the question, how in the world did someone switch the money with cake without immediately getting noticed?
I mean, at this point, is it cake or is it money? Can we go back in time? Okay, okay, okay. So back in time we went. I think so far it seems fine. And... Oh! There it was! There it was!
It's there! It's just there! But everyone's looking in that direction, not the end. May your hands be low, your books be believable. Oh, you're at the show at this moment. I think the best rule of thumb is... Oh, Becky! Mark Robert's gonna buy every single person in this room a new Rivian. Oh, really? A new Rivian? A new Rivian? Oh, look at that.
See, no one gets a Rivian. People are enchanted. Becky's dressed all the time. Oh, oh, oh. There! There! There! Oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh. There There That was part of her distraction That was such an act Oh my God That was it I mean who else did she talk to Oh that a good idea
So we recently geared our security system algorithm to focus on Becky instead of Michael. Clearly, she talked to a lot of people throughout the night, which meant we were able to filter down the last interaction she had right before the toast.
Okay, wait, here she goes. And it led to a very unlikely suspect. Yeah, yeah, it's a bomb. What? You're right-hand man. No. But as much as I didn't want to believe it,
they just passed each other and his hands are behind his back. No one walks around like that who's an honest person. The clues was undeniable. He's got the money! Nobody would literally walk out with such a heck of money.
No one would stop the pit box. Yes, I think that's it, right? It led to the only rational conclusion. Do we have him leaving? No. Wait, where did he walk out? Away. Where did it go? It's not his desk. He's going to his desk?
He's just sitting on his chair? I mean, that means it's just literally back over there, right? It's like, let's go get Bob. And just as we were about to close the case, Mark, Dora, made an interesting observation.
Look at this. Thank you everyone for coming back in. First of all, I want to sincerely apologize. And the good news is, we know who stole the money, and we know where the money is.
And they're in this room. So, to figure this out, the first thing we did was we checked the pedestal. It's a falling bottom. So it's rotating on a hinge that's attached to a brushless motor that turns exactly 180 degrees.
And then it flips up, the face can't see. The real money dropped down the pedestal under this conveyor belt under here that's running to the edge of the stage. So we checked the footage to see when it happened. happened. It happened exactly when
Becky was making a toast, unlawfully telling everyone I was giving them a review in this room as a distraction. So the question was, who was the last person to talk to Becky and exchange
money? And it was the same person who touched the red light. None other than Science Bob. Science Bob. That was on me.
I have no money. I wouldn't do that. Science Bob, we saw you take a black duffel bag, high-five the security, and put it in your deck. Okay. And we have the duffel bag right here. No!
No! What? Hey! Hey! Hey! All I'm asking is please don't open the bag. Interesting. Now, given all that, Bob, you would have a lot of explaining to do if we opened this
bag at $10,000. But we're not going to find $10,000. Are we, Bob? No, you're not. Let's open the bag. The Earth is flat?
Bob, you do have some explaining to do. A mouse bag for God's sake? It was free at the meeting. Come on. Bob, are you flat or curious? They have some compelling points. I wish you had stolen the money instead.
All of this looks incredibly suspicious, But it didn't actually prove he stole the money. And this is when Dora made a very interesting observation that blew the case wide open. Because what we saw was that while no one person spent a significant amount of time at the front of the stage where the money was sitting,
a certain dessert cart did. For five minutes. After which it made its way around the room for fifteen minutes. Eventually ending up behind the snack bar, but when we checked it, we found nothing.
But thanks to the micro-ring's AI-based detection prevention system, we could tweak the algorithm to find the one person who wasn't in the room precisely for the same amount of time the cart was making its final round. We came back with one name.
Someone that no one suspected. The person wearing the same obnoxiously bright shoes that we actually saw poking out from the dessert cart. The person who came yesterday to verify this money was real.

Very impressive, Mark. Look, I ran the numbers. The number of engineers in here, there was no chance I was going to win. I needed some guarantee. I trusted you, Hank. That was your first mistake.
You let me count the money, got to inspect it, and I got to install my little device. You need everyone to look the way, so I bought myself a distraction. I'm offering some services tonight. Yes, I've heard. I'm very interested.
I'm very concerned of your offer and I would like you to get a coat. And you want some money for a cake?
Yeah. Turns out it's easier to counterfeit cash with bake. Of course. You've been taking baking lessons. I've been taking baking classes. Baking classes? Is that like an online thing? How do you do it?
No, I go to a place. I like to be prepared, Mark. And when everyone was watching sexy, I slipped into the cart, I took the cash, and my friend had his long dog.
Hey. You're bluffing. You had enough time to take the money off the stage. That's true. But you didn't have enough time to remove the money from Crunch Labs, did you? Hey, Mark, you're never going to find it.
You're right. We never would have found it if it wasn't for one tiny clue when we traced the card around We noticed that it made one convenient stop during the blackout
And that's where you made the mistake Unfortunately for you it was cream cheese vanilla My favorite flavor and we noticed with the light turned back on this face was carelessly turned 90 degrees
Which means this will be the final resting place of the money. Your plan will come back later, once everyone has left, to retreat. Fedora, please come to my committee as I dramatically break the vase with this conveniently placed hammer.
What? Are you serious? It's me, the villain! Give me that! You'll never catch the elusive hankery! It's the dirty villain! Thank you everyone.
Enjoy your earnings. So once again, health always wins. Cheaters never prosper. Unless you're really good at it. I thought this was real money. I took a picture with it. These are all the genius engineering builds I confiscated at the party.
They all have one thing in common. This wasn't their first attempt. What? Because the number one mistake people make for trying to build something is expecting their first version to be their last. But all great engineers not only build things again and again,
but they redesign them again and again. Woo! Failing, learning, and refining again and again. Which is why for the past three years, every single creative kit, billbox, and hack pack was designed on Onshape.
Because just like millions of professional engineers around the world, that's the program our amazing toy engineers insist on using. Because Onshape runs entirely in the cloud, powered by AWS. Meaning you can design through your browser from virtually any computer.
But also because you can collaborate simultaneously on the exact same part. And if you ever get stuck, Onshape even has built-in AI tools to help you out. making that redesign or building process a whole lot faster.
So the next time that awesome Crunch Labs box shows up on your front porch, remember that the current side wasn't version 1. Thanks to the power of Onshape, it was at least version 30. So don't worry about getting it perfect and start with your version 1
on the exact same software we use here at Crunch Labs. And while businesses get it free for the first six months, it's completely free for students and teachers forever. Links below.
you
