[0:06] Warcraft now some of you may not even
[0:08] know what add-ons are so let me just
[0:10] talk about that really briefly add-ons
[0:13] can be loaded into the game through a
[0:14] program called twitch you can download
[0:16] that online it's free you'll create a
[0:18] twitch account and you'll go into the
[0:21] section of the twitch menu here called
[0:23] mods you'll choose your game world of
[0:27] warcraft and you'll have a list of
[0:29] add-ons now if you haven't loaded any
[0:31] add-ons you'll have none so you can go
[0:33] to get more add-ons right here and from
[0:37] there you can search add-ons you can
[0:39] look at what are the most popular
[0:41] add-ons currently in the game all those
[0:44] kinds of details and load them once
[0:47] you've loaded them you'll have to
[0:49] restart your game for them to apply but
[0:51] once you've restarted the game and have
[0:52] them loaded in this add-on manager they
[0:54] will be active in your world of warcraft
[0:56] game so getting back to the main topic
[1:00] what are the best three add-ons that you
[1:01] want to have is a raider in world of
[1:02] warcraft
[1:03] first you want what you want to have is
[1:05] deadly boss mods or something equivalent
[1:07] so deadly boss mods seen here there's
[1:10] also one called bigwigs which is very
[1:13] similar these basically allow you to see
[1:17] countdown timers they allow you to see
[1:19] when spells are gonna be cast by the
[1:21] boss it gives you warning sounds warning
[1:25] messages when things are about to happen
[1:27] sometimes it gives you markers and
[1:30] different things on players it just
[1:32] really helps you to manage and pay
[1:34] attention to everything that's happening
[1:36] within a raid this is a tool that's used
[1:39] by mythic raiders it's top raiders are
[1:41] using these tools so we're definitely
[1:43] one of the beneficial tools to have
[1:45] second tool in the list is going to be
[1:48] weak auras it's called weak wars too
[1:51] what this tool does is it allows for
[1:54] people to create custom buttons and
[1:57] animations and things like that that can
[1:59] be utilized in raid now in a beginning
[2:02] rating situation you might not need to
[2:04] use this but as you get more advanced
[2:06] into rating you can really create some
[2:07] unofficial tools to notify players of
[2:11] what's happening or to manage different
[2:13] can exit are happening in a fight so we
[2:15] Korres - I highly recommend a third item
[2:19] is gonna be some sort of damage meter so
[2:22] for me I use SCADA it's not everyone's
[2:24] preference
[2:25] there's also recount I believe details
[2:30] as you can see here those are also two
[2:32] popular tools to use to track how much
[2:35] damage you're doing but what you can see
[2:37] is here in the fight I broken mine down
[2:39] to see healing as well as damage it
[2:41] allows you to just keep track of where
[2:43] you stand in terms of damage with other
[2:46] players in your raid makes things more
[2:48] competitive makes things more fun to be
[2:51] able to beat your friend and do more
[2:52] damage to them because you can see it
[2:54] live not necessarily something we'll
[2:57] have to have to raid but I think it
[2:59] makes it more fun and I highly recommend
[3:01] it so those are three really quick basic
[3:05] tools that you want to have as a Raider
[3:07] in World of Warcraft one other tool that
[3:09] I'll recommend here at the end if you're
[3:11] a raid leader or getting into more
[3:13] advanced rating is something called
[3:15] Exorcist raid tools what this tool does
[3:18] is it allows you to keep track of things
[3:20] like cooldowns of people in your raid so
[3:24] for example if you need to pay attention
[3:25] to how many battle Reza's you have you
[3:27] need to pay attention to what major
[3:28] healer cooldowns there are interrupts
[3:31] things of that nature it also allows you
[3:34] to make custom notes to place on the
[3:36] screen so that you can make assignments
[3:38] to raid members if they need to do
[3:39] certain tasks during the raid fight all
[3:42] those kinds of details so there's a lot
[3:43] more that it does - but those are just
[3:45] some of the basic tools that it can do
[3:47] so if you're looking to get into more
[3:49] advanced trading or to LEED rating it
[3:51] can be a really great tool if everybody
[3:53] has it so those are some of the tools
