This video explains the three best add-ons for raiders in World of Warcraft, starting with how to install add-ons via the Twitch app. It covers Deadly Boss Mods for boss ability warnings, WeakAuras for custom alerts, and damage meters like Skada for performance tracking. A bonus add-on, Exorsus Raid Tools, is recommended for raid leaders.

### Key Points

- **How to Install Add-ons** [0:13] — Add-ons are loaded through the Twitch app under the 'Mods' section for World of Warcraft. After downloading, the game must be restarted for them to apply.
- **Deadly Boss Mods (DBM)** [1:03] — DBM provides countdown timers, warning sounds, and visual alerts for boss spells. It is used by top mythic raiders.
- **WeakAuras** [1:48] — WeakAuras allows creation of custom buttons and animations to notify players of raid mechanics. It is more useful for advanced raiding.
- **Damage Meters** [2:18] — Damage meters like Skada, Recount, or Details track damage and healing, adding a competitive element to raiding.
- **Exorsus Raid Tools (Bonus)** [3:15] — Exorsus Raid Tools tracks cooldowns, battle resurrections, interrupts, and allows custom notes for raid assignments. Recommended for raid leaders.

## Transcript

hey everyone's enter fear and I want to
talk about what are the three best
add-ons to have as a Raider in World of
Warcraft now some of you may not even
know what add-ons are so let me just
talk about that really briefly add-ons
can be loaded into the game through a
program called twitch you can download
that online it's free you'll create a
twitch account and you'll go into the
section of the twitch menu here called
mods you'll choose your game world of
warcraft and you'll have a list of
add-ons now if you haven't loaded any
add-ons you'll have none so you can go
to get more add-ons right here and from
there you can search add-ons you can
look at what are the most popular
add-ons currently in the game all those
kinds of details and load them once
you've loaded them you'll have to
restart your game for them to apply but
once you've restarted the game and have
them loaded in this add-on manager they
will be active in your world of warcraft
game so getting back to the main topic
what are the best three add-ons that you
want to have is a raider in world of
warcraft
first you want what you want to have is
deadly boss mods or something equivalent
so deadly boss mods seen here there's
also one called bigwigs which is very
similar these basically allow you to see
countdown timers they allow you to see
when spells are gonna be cast by the
boss it gives you warning sounds warning
messages when things are about to happen
sometimes it gives you markers and
different things on players it just
really helps you to manage and pay
attention to everything that's happening
within a raid this is a tool that's used
by mythic raiders it's top raiders are
using these tools so we're definitely
one of the beneficial tools to have
second tool in the list is going to be
weak auras it's called weak wars too
what this tool does is it allows for
people to create custom buttons and
animations and things like that that can
be utilized in raid now in a beginning
rating situation you might not need to
use this but as you get more advanced
into rating you can really create some
unofficial tools to notify players of
what's happening or to manage different
can exit are happening in a fight so we
Korres - I highly recommend a third item
is gonna be some sort of damage meter so
for me I use SCADA it's not everyone's
preference
there's also recount I believe details
as you can see here those are also two
popular tools to use to track how much
damage you're doing but what you can see
is here in the fight I broken mine down
to see healing as well as damage it
allows you to just keep track of where
you stand in terms of damage with other
players in your raid makes things more
competitive makes things more fun to be
able to beat your friend and do more
damage to them because you can see it
live not necessarily something we'll
have to have to raid but I think it
makes it more fun and I highly recommend
it so those are three really quick basic
tools that you want to have as a Raider
in World of Warcraft one other tool that
I'll recommend here at the end if you're
a raid leader or getting into more
advanced rating is something called
Exorcist raid tools what this tool does
is it allows you to keep track of things
like cooldowns of people in your raid so
for example if you need to pay attention
to how many battle Reza's you have you
need to pay attention to what major
healer cooldowns there are interrupts
things of that nature it also allows you
to make custom notes to place on the
screen so that you can make assignments
to raid members if they need to do
certain tasks during the raid fight all
those kinds of details so there's a lot
more that it does - but those are just
some of the basic tools that it can do
so if you're looking to get into more
advanced trading or to LEED rating it
can be a really great tool if everybody
has it so those are some of the tools
hopefully helps you and best of luck
