[0:00] I wish I was lying with the title of [0:01] this video, but I am not. There is now [0:03] people reporting Stellar Blade Blood [0:05] Reign to Visa, Mastercard, and payment [0:08] processors in general, echoing the same [0:10] thing that we saw last year with [0:12] Collective Shel. For those that need a [0:14] very brief rundown on what this [0:15] necessarily means, basically last year [0:18] we had a lot of censorship, widespread [0:21] censorship that kind of ushered in [0:23] digital ID, age verification, and all [0:26] sorts of other messes that we saw around [0:27] the internet and we're still facing [0:29] right now with Discord even trying to [0:31] still implement age verification [0:33] worldwide. And they're using tools to [0:35] expand upon. There's been multiple [0:36] articles in the last week of them just [0:38] testing new things to force age [0:40] verification. Dox yourself. But the [0:42] point is is that where the origin story, [0:44] the the uh the beginning of where this [0:46] all started, at least last year, was [0:48] Collective Shout, this Australian [0:49] activist feminist group that basically [0:52] contacted payment processors to get [0:55] Steam and Itch.io and various other game [0:57] platforms to remove icky taboo like [1:00] games from their platform. Basically [1:03] saying that anything that is of sexual [1:04] nature, anything adult-wise or anything [1:07] needs to be removed. And because of the [1:09] pressure of Collective Shout, they [1:11] managed to contact payment processors [1:13] like Visa, Mastercard, PayPal to get [1:15] them to call in Steam and like, "You [1:17] better remove this or we're going to [1:19] blacklist you and remove our ways of [1:21] being paid off your service." Basically [1:23] killing their company overnight. And [1:25] this caused it.io, which is still facing [1:27] problems to this very day. They had to [1:29] remove a bunch off their platform, [1:30] causing thousands upon thousands of [1:32] developers to not have any ability to [1:34] make money overnight. they lost their [1:36] source of income, some going homeless. [1:38] And then this goes into PayPal also [1:39] cracking down on artist commissions. [1:41] Basically, if you were to commission [1:43] artwork and all that and get paid, [1:44] PayPal would look into this and [1:46] investigate you off site and remove your [1:48] ability to make money as well. We have [1:50] all sorts of things that transpired [1:51] thanks to Collective Shout last year. [1:54] And so, basically, we saw the damage [1:55] they made. They caused Steam to bend the [1:57] need, make an entirely new policy for [1:59] payment processors and banks. And we [2:01] have been seeing constantly, especially [2:03] this year with a lot of different Asian [2:05] and Japanese games being targeted by [2:07] payment processors and banks and the [2:09] pressure from Western entities and [2:10] companies to basically do what they say [2:13] or you're not going to make any money [2:15] whatsoever, which is obviously a very [2:17] bad thing. If you're a creator or a [2:19] developer trying to make something and [2:20] sell something, if a bank and a payment [2:23] processor shuts you down, you you're [2:25] kind of screwed. And so obviously, the [2:26] only option you have is to censor your [2:29] game to some degree. And we have seen [2:31] where this has happened many times where [2:33] many different websites had to buckle [2:34] and bend to censor themselves. And so [2:36] that gets into what we have today with [2:39] the Stellar Blade, you know, controversy [2:41] where you have individuals now trying to [2:44] report Stellar Blade to payment [2:45] processors to get it debanked, [2:47] deplatformed, and censored and also [2:50] removed physically from different stores [2:52] like game stores and stuff like that, [2:53] which is uh very horrifying. Now, where [2:56] this all originated from was a form site [2:58] called Reset Era. Now, I have known [3:00] about the site for a while. I'm not like [3:03] someone that browses them. I don't know [3:04] everything about them and what they all [3:06] talk about, but from my brief little [3:08] browsing through the form that is [3:09] associated with, you know, Stellar Blade [3:11] Blood Rain, you can see a lot of these [3:13] individuals, they are molding and upset [3:16] about Stellar Blade or in this case, [3:18] Eevee and her design. This is echoing a [3:21] conversation I've been talking about [3:22] basically for about a week now and how [3:24] you have a lot of people that are I'm [3:26] just going to be blunt mentally ill [3:28] thinking that you know Eevee looks like [3:29] a child has childlike features and that [3:32] um Asian games problematic and all that [3:34] type of stuff that just feels downright [3:36] racist towards Asian people because the [3:38] same people that are looking down on [3:40] Eevee are pro like going out of their [3:42] way to hype up Pomni with all her art [3:44] and design in Fortnite. But um the point [3:46] is is amongst this conversation and [3:48] basically the molding on this forum. I'm [3:50] just going to be honest looking at the [3:52] political alignment here. I don't want [3:54] to dive into it too deep, but just [3:56] straight up they are very progressive [3:57] individuals and very left-leaning. I'm [4:00] just I'm going to say it like it is. You [4:01] can read through this form yourself [4:02] which I will link in the description and [4:03] you can check it out. But basically, [4:05] when you scroll down and you get towards [4:07] the bottom, which is where the story [4:08] begins today, you see that there was [4:10] someone saying that they reported the [4:12] game Stellar Blade and shift up to Visa [4:15] and Mastercard. Now, at this current [4:17] time, this account has been labeled [4:18] troll account and also banned. However, [4:21] I would like to point out though that [4:22] this only started happening once news [4:25] broke about this situation. For [4:28] instance, when I made my initial post [4:29] today talking about the situation of [4:32] basically Stellar Blade, you know, [4:34] having calls to get it, you know, [4:35] debanked or deplatformed and a few other [4:37] individuals like Pirate Nation as well [4:39] and a few others picking it up. Soon as [4:41] that happened and that started trending [4:43] and a lot of people started talking [4:44] about it, within the hour, you had the [4:47] group on Reset Era ban this individual [4:50] and you could just see like look at the [4:51] time frame here, okay? And when you look [4:53] at my initial post where I talked about [4:54] this, it was at 1:40. So basically there [4:57] was about an hour of this news starting [4:59] to trend and then people came to the [5:00] forum and started talking about it which [5:02] effectively got this dude banned. And [5:04] even though there is technically people [5:05] fighting back against this which I'll [5:07] talk about in a second. I would like to [5:08] remind everybody if you browse through [5:10] this forum you have just a lot of people [5:12] molding about stellar blade. And this [5:15] has been a conversation that's echoing [5:16] pretty much on the entirety of the [5:18] internet. You can find it pretty much [5:19] everywhere. You can find it on Tik Tok, [5:21] Reddit, YouTube, Twitter. You can find [5:23] it probably on various different forms [5:25] like reset era for instance. A lot of [5:27] people are talking about stellar blade [5:29] and Eevee's design. And so this isn't [5:31] just like one area. There's a lot of [5:33] people that are probably getting the [5:34] exact same idea, the big idea in their [5:36] head to do what collective shout did [5:38] last year. Now we need to get into the [5:40] push back that is now facing this site [5:43] or this form, but also the push back [5:46] from the users of this site. So [5:48] basically, yes, the account that did [5:49] this and started this was banned and [5:51] they were labeled a troll account. Good [5:53] job on the moderators or whoever to [5:55] basically do this because this is [5:57] completely unacceptable and not okay [5:59] whatsoever. And various comments after [6:01] this do call this individual out. But I [6:04] look, I don't want to say it is, but the [6:07] only reason why I think that this got so [6:08] much push back so quickly is especially [6:11] because it started trending and a lot of [6:12] people started picking up the story. If [6:14] it wasn't, I feel like this would have [6:17] gone on unnoticed and potentially there [6:19] would have been some support on this [6:21] site about it because I would like to [6:23] remind everybody kind of what happened [6:25] here. Basically, Collective Shout, they [6:27] they reported everything pretty much to [6:30] payment processors to get uh Steam and [6:32] itch in hot water. And um if you [6:35] remember, they got away with it because [6:37] not a lot of people were able to catch [6:39] it early. They they they definitely got [6:41] away with it because of that. And they [6:42] did have a lot of connections to that [6:44] people in the higher-ups in that [6:45] activist group had connections with [6:46] government entities and stuff like that [6:48] to get the the ball moving. But the [6:50] point is is that all it takes is one [6:52] activist group to get really pissed off [6:53] that has some pretty good weight or [6:56] connections with government entities or [6:58] big businesses to be able to do exactly [7:00] what Collective Shout did last year with [7:02] Stellar Blade. And with how blatant the [7:04] racism is towards basically Asian [7:06] culture and Asian games and media, I [7:09] honestly wouldn't be surprised if it [7:11] does happen to some shape or form to [7:13] force Shift Up and Stellar Blade to be [7:16] censored to some degree. Now, like I [7:18] said, I am proud that this form called [7:20] this out, but soon as they called it [7:22] out, the form basically officially died. [7:24] And from my knowledge, this isn't a [7:26] locked post. So it is very strange just [7:28] how quickly it died especially when [7:30] there was a lot of active conversation [7:32] on this form for honestly ongoing for a [7:34] while for days at a time. So I am very [7:38] interested on uh why suddenly the form [7:41] has went kind of a little bit silent [7:42] here after this call out. But with that [7:45] I I just this is absolutely crazy. Like [7:47] I can't believe we're now back at the [7:49] situation like somehow collective shout [7:51] has returned in a different form under a [7:54] different name. Now, obviously, this [7:56] situation isn't as bad, but this is very [8:00] telling because everybody knows this [8:02] that it works. For instance, activist [8:05] groups being able to get a, you know, a [8:06] platform to buckle and bend works. [8:09] Collective shout is proof of that. You [8:11] can hate them or whatever, and I despise [8:13] what they did, but they were very [8:15] effective with what they did. They did [8:17] manage to get to this very day multiple [8:19] platforms censored. So, it could happen [8:22] again. And so I'm glad to see some just [8:24] straight up massive toxic backlash to [8:28] this entire situation and people are not [8:31] having it whatsoever. Now there is [8:34] another little thing I do want to add [8:35] into this. There also is calls for [8:38] basically a petition to remove Stellar [8:40] Blade to remove the youthful characters [8:42] within Stellar Blade which Packer Girl [8:44] here basically outlines there is an [8:46] ongoing petition about this that is [8:48] getting votes to basically force Stellar [8:50] Blade to be censored. Obviously, I don't [8:52] think this is going to go anywhere, but [8:54] once again, it goes to show just how [8:55] many people are molding about this [8:57] situation and that they just cannot [8:59] stand Asian Games and beautiful looking [9:01] characters within stories. So, yeah, [9:03] tell me your thoughts honestly how you [9:05] feel about this situation. How do you [9:06] feel about uh this whole mess that is [9:09] kind of building and bubbling right now? [9:10] Like I said, I'm very happy about the [9:12] toxicity. That is why I went right out [9:14] the gate to make this as toxic as [9:16] possible with the title just to get [9:18] people riled up to really make sure that [9:20] this does not happen. I want people to [9:23] outright just be completely 100% against [9:26] this type of censorship because it is [9:29] unacceptable. These payment processors, [9:31] Visa and Mastercard, they should not be [9:33] able to get in front of you making [9:35] illegal purchase whatsoever. But [9:37] obviously, they've shown time and time [9:38] again they will all in the name of brand [9:40] protection. So, I'm just Yes, that's why [9:43] this conversation needs to be extremely [9:45] toxic and needs to be basically [9:47] completely shut down right soon as it [9:49] starts and make it to where anyone that [9:51] dares to try to contact payment [9:53] processors to do something as evil or re [9:55] irredeemable as this just gets [9:57] completely shut down. So, yes, I am so [9:59] glad people are calling this out and [10:01] once again, I'm proud of whoever kind of [10:03] shut this down in the form. But, I [10:06] wonder what would have happened if this [10:08] news didn't break. That is the big [10:10] question I have about this situation. [10:12] But uh thank you so much for watching.
