[00:02] day, but today is kind of cloudy so you won't see the sunset. I want you to listen to recording of one of my video. [00:16] It's chapter 24 on my book God's fingerprint and the title of the chapter is be still before the Lord [00:28] the chapter is be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him. But after that initial visitation of his [music] presence, the knowledge of his presence stays with me every single moment of every day. [00:43] I miss it when I don't sense it. I always want to go back to it. I always want to go back to it. >> [music] You, God, are my God. Earnestly, I seek you. I thirst for you. My whole being [00:58] [music] longs for you. Psalm 63:1 God touched me. The Bible is boring for someone who never encountered the God of the Bible personally. [01:12] It is not an academic workbook for intellectual [music] life consumption. It is the word of God for spiritual life nourishment for those who are [music] thirsty for him. [01:26] hungry, >> [music] curious. To treat it as >> just intellectual information makes it dry [01:39] and most of it [music] even illogical from human standpoint. God in experience, God's word becomes alive. I don't expect [music] many people to understand what I just said. [01:54] It is a kind of knowing [music] where I know I am in God's presence. [music] even though I do not see his face with >> [music] >> Every part of my body feels his [02:10] presence. Every atom of my being is energized by his presence. It's like electric peace and love. I don't think we will have a full understanding [music] of why some [02:23] encounter God and others do not. God is sovereign and we can only desire and pray that he gives us one. [music] He gave me one when I was 33 years old. [02:35] >> [music] >> every now and then. But after that initial visitation of his presence, [music] the knowledge of his presence stays with me every single moment of every day. [02:50] I miss it when I don't sense it. [music] I always want to go back to it. Why me? I don't know. I was just as bad or [music] worse than a lot people at my age then. [03:06] encounter the disciples had at Pentecost. I get excited even now when I see pictures of Pentecost. [music] [03:20] "That's it. That's what he did for me." That encounter did it for me. You can That encounter did it for me. You can feed me to the lion and I won't deny that Jesus, God, the Holy [music] Spirit, and heaven is real. [03:34] And that is why I am excited about God every day. >> I pray that you long for that encounter, too. And that he gives it to you. As the deer longs for streams of water, [03:48] >> [music] >> for you. Oh God, Psalm 42:1, my heart's response. Dear God, after I felt your intense [04:01] I started having a deeper [music] understanding of your words. Thank you for filling me with your Holy Spirit. My life has never been the same since then. [04:15] When I read the Bible, I feel like I am part of [music] the story. When I read the words of Jesus, I feel the words he was speaking were being spoken [music] to me. When I read the stories of Abraham, [04:30] Joseph, Moses, David, and the apostles, [music] me. Thank you, God. I love you, God. Amen. In the last days, [04:42] >> God says, "I will pour out my spirit on all people. [music] Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams." Acts 2:17, God is touching [music] you. [04:58] Believe that there is so much more to the experience of knowing [music] and being known by God. There is so much more to your experience of loving and [music] being loved by God. [05:11] You might feel that loving God with all your
