[0:03] apologize for mistransations of a manga
[0:06] series where they forced in, and I'm not
[0:07] joking, gender, politics, and trans
[0:10] ideology into a manga that had nothing
[0:13] to do with it. This was something that
[0:15] happened back in 2022. However, the
[0:17] reason why this is relevant today is
[0:19] because the anime just got announced
[0:22] this morning. And now the main
[0:24] conversation on this is this that the
[0:28] main male characters of this story, the
[0:31] one that is crossdressing in particular
[0:33] is a trans icon. when that is so far
[0:37] from the case because even the official
[0:40] translations had to basically go out of
[0:43] their way and apologize that they were
[0:45] forcing in politics where it did not
[0:47] belong within a manga and butchering the
[0:50] original author's intentions and words
[0:52] and language just to be able to force in
[0:55] their own ideology. And who would have
[0:57] figured that the individuals behind
[0:58] this, the translators and localizers
[1:01] would be side by side with Katrina,
[1:03] which I have showed her in the past many
[1:05] times, but this is a very famous
[1:07] individual that has absolutely butchered
[1:09] gaming translations for like different
[1:11] Japanese games, but also manga and anime
[1:13] as well. So, this individual already
[1:15] knowing the translator and basically
[1:17] giving the seal of approval for the
[1:18] butchering of this series and then 7C's
[1:21] having to apologize for the butchering,
[1:23] I think really puts in perspective the
[1:24] type of situation that we're currently
[1:26] in. And so, after this colossal screw up
[1:29] that 7C's made and they basically just
[1:32] they left it to the wolves. threw the
[1:33] series to the wolves. We now have the
[1:35] entire discussion riddled with drama and
[1:39] basically misunderstanding from an
[1:41] improper translation that was released
[1:43] many years ago. And it's really
[1:45] infuriating because obviously there's a
[1:46] lot of breadcrumbs about this. I mean,
[1:48] even Reddit r/manga was outright upset
[1:52] with 7C's Entertainment's translation. I
[1:54] mean, when you have Reddit calling you
[1:56] out years ago about this, which is just
[1:58] insane. Yeah, now you screwed up pretty
[2:00] big. And I think this is incredibly
[2:02] annoying cuz this just really goes to
[2:04] show that there is legitimate parasites
[2:07] that legit are hijacking manga and anime
[2:11] and using it as a vessel to push the
[2:14] same type of politics and ideology that
[2:17] we see in gaming from the west and media
[2:19] from the west, from Hollywood, from
[2:20] Disney, from Marvel. It is absolutely
[2:23] freaking annoying. This is literally
[2:25] everything I talk about. Like everything
[2:28] I have been warning about for a long
[2:30] time now when it comes to this, this is
[2:33] exactly it. This is the damage that
[2:36] mistransations do for a series. And so,

[3:04] story, even a trans story, I would
[3:07] defend it. It is a story if that's what
[3:09] the author wants to write with their own
[3:10] story. That's it. But the problem here
[3:12] is is I have a huge issue when you have
[3:14] individuals taking a series and
[3:17] butchering the author's original
[3:19] intention and changing it for their own
[3:21] politics. Outright despicable. The other
[3:24] thing is is that this is already a boys
[3:26] love progressive work. It is literally
[3:28] two guys falling in love. Okay? And on
[3:31] top of that, it's that just because a
[3:34] guy wants to crossdress doesn't mean
[3:37] that he wants to be a woman. He just
[3:39] maybe wants to look feminine. There is a
[3:41] thing called, you know, uh the word the
[3:43] proper word, hopefully I don't butcher
[3:44] this, otto no that there is a word for
[3:46] that that is exactly this type right
[3:49] here. You have crossdressing as well. I
[3:52] mean it nowadays it's considered a slur

[4:06] female character that dresses into the
[4:08] opposing gender's attire suddenly they
