## Transcript

7C's Entertainment, an official manga
licensing company, had to officially
apologize for mistransations of a manga
series where they forced in, and I'm not
joking, gender, politics, and trans
ideology into a manga that had nothing
to do with it. This was something that
happened back in 2022. However, the
reason why this is relevant today is
because the anime just got announced
this morning. And now the main
conversation on this is this that the
main male characters of this story, the
one that is crossdressing in particular
is a trans icon. when that is so far
from the case because even the official
translations had to basically go out of
their way and apologize that they were
forcing in politics where it did not
belong within a manga and butchering the
original author's intentions and words
and language just to be able to force in
their own ideology. And who would have
figured that the individuals behind
this, the translators and localizers
would be side by side with Katrina,
which I have showed her in the past many
times, but this is a very famous
individual that has absolutely butchered
gaming translations for like different
Japanese games, but also manga and anime
as well. So, this individual already
knowing the translator and basically
giving the seal of approval for the
butchering of this series and then 7C's
having to apologize for the butchering,
I think really puts in perspective the
type of situation that we're currently
in. And so, after this colossal screw up
that 7C's made and they basically just
they left it to the wolves. threw the
series to the wolves. We now have the
entire discussion riddled with drama and
basically misunderstanding from an
improper translation that was released
many years ago. And it's really
infuriating because obviously there's a
lot of breadcrumbs about this. I mean,
even Reddit r/manga was outright upset
with 7C's Entertainment's translation. I
mean, when you have Reddit calling you
out years ago about this, which is just
insane. Yeah, now you screwed up pretty
big. And I think this is incredibly
annoying cuz this just really goes to
show that there is legitimate parasites
that legit are hijacking manga and anime
and using it as a vessel to push the
same type of politics and ideology that
we see in gaming from the west and media
from the west, from Hollywood, from
Disney, from Marvel. It is absolutely
freaking annoying. This is literally
everything I talk about. Like everything
I have been warning about for a long
time now when it comes to this, this is
exactly it. This is the damage that
mistransations do for a series. And so,
let's explain this. Let's really break
this down really quick. Why this is just
so insane to me. First off, this is a BL
manga. Like, that means boy love. Now,
I'm just going to outright say this. I
don't care about boys love manga. I will
defend it. It has a right to exist. I
say the same thing for Yuri manga and
anime and stuff like that. They both
have a right to exist. If the author and
writer wrote a Yuri story, a boy's love
story, even a trans story, I would
defend it. It is a story if that's what
the author wants to write with their own
story. That's it. But the problem here
is is I have a huge issue when you have
individuals taking a series and
butchering the author's original
intention and changing it for their own
politics. Outright despicable. The other
thing is is that this is already a boys
love progressive work. It is literally
two guys falling in love. Okay? And on
top of that, it's that just because a
guy wants to crossdress doesn't mean
that he wants to be a woman. He just
maybe wants to look feminine. There is a
thing called, you know, uh the word the
proper word, hopefully I don't butcher
this, otto no that there is a word for
that that is exactly this type right
here. You have crossdressing as well. I
mean it nowadays it's considered a slur
to say but I mean trap is also an
original weeb otaku term and so when you
look at this type of situation it's
legitimately insane that how anytime
there is a character like a male or
female character that dresses into the
opposing gender's attire suddenly they
are a trans person and that that's not
how it works. It's not. There's so many
different layers, different namings and
types and stuff and it just honestly it
it it it's messed up. Like it it really
is infuriating because it's already a
progressive manga. It it's a boy love.
It's Yahi. That that's what it is. And
I'm just like dude, you are absolutely
damaging this series and already
slandering discussion when you're
mistransating this. I it is so shameful
what 7C's did years ago and the fact
that this straight up just butchering
has now caused this series to be in
nothing but drama. You have people
getting community noted about this. You
go and scroll into the comments, you
already see people talking about this
situation and how, you know, it is. Some
are excited obviously, but you get to
see just like people really uh just like
there there's a lot of crazy stuff going
on here. All I'm going to say is is that
this is what I've been talking about.
This these are the individuals that have
been hijacking anime to forcing their
politics and then they get upset with
you when you call it out. And I I'm done
with this, man. Like, as I've said
already, the only way to counter stuff
like this is to be just outright toxic.
You got to you got to really just be you
got to make a toxic environment and make
it to where this is just completely
unacceptable where these companies don't
even want to touch the topic. I mean, to
be fair, if the story was about a trans
character, I would defend it. I would.
Okay. What I'm saying is don't change a
an offer story for your own ideology.
That is and I hate that. That
is annoying. And I hate this because it
is the same that ruined any form of
like media within the West and they are
doing it to manga and anime. It is so
annoying. It is really freaking
annoying. And I
Okay, I got to calm. Uh, anyways, what
I'm going to say here, I'm just going to
just straight up say it that I
personally I hope this series is
successful. I do. I think that is
probably going to be a very cute and
sweet series for individuals that
probably like free and other BL type
stories, but I feel like the entire
discussion around this is going to be
just absolute dog because you're
going to have the actual real enjoyers
of the series that like BL for instance,
they're going to watch this, they're
going to enjoy it, and they're going to
have that little parasite in the ear
basically regurgitating the
mistransation saying, "Oh, the character
is actually trans and all that." in just
uh basically spreading false information
and it's going to be just extremely
annoying. Like it really is. But I'm I'm
going to leave it at that. I
Oh, dude. I'm so tired of this, man. I
really am. Anyways, you all have a
