## Summary

The video is a practical guide on how to find a successful product to sell on Amazon US using the Jungle Scout tool. The creator shares their personal experience of selling a product for $29 that they bought for $6, and walks through the step-by-step process of product selection, filtering, and supplier sourcing.

### Key Points

- **Personal Success Story** [00:03] — The creator bought a product for $6, shipped it to the US, and sold it on Amazon for $29, selling over 500 units in the first three months.
- **Amazon US Business Model** [01:18] — Amazon US receives over a billion visits per month. You can sell via dropshipping, arbitrage, wholesale, or private label, but the key to success is choosing a winning product.
- **Product Research Setup** [02:05] — Using Jungle Scout, the creator selects the US market, avoids categories like toys, electronics, and cosmetics due to complexity, and focuses on medium-sized products with FBA fulfillment.
- **Price Range Strategy** [03:45] — Products should be priced between $19 and $35. This ensures that after Amazon's $4.50 FBA fee, the profit margin remains healthy. Lower-priced items lose too much to fees.
- **Focus on New Products** [04:28] — Target products that have been on the market for only 3-6 months with a maximum of 50 reviews. This indicates a new, potentially successful product without established competition.
- **Sales Volume Filter** [05:13] — Set a minimum of 100 units sold per month to ensure the product has proven demand. The creator adjusts filters to get a manageable list of around 50,000 products.
- **Example Product Analysis** [06:11] — The creator finds a coffee strainer with 26 reviews selling 111 units per month at $31. This indicates a new, successful product with potential for market entry.
- **Excel Comparison Sheet** [08:04] — The creator compiles 5-7 products into an Excel file, comparing cost, selling price, Amazon fees (30-35%), net profit, and sales volume to select the best option.
- **Supplier Sourcing** [09:28] — Using Jungle Scout's supplier database, the creator finds suppliers from China, Vietnam, and the US, comparing prices and shipping costs to find the best deal.

### Conclusion

The video concludes that by using data-driven product selection with Jungle Scout, you can confidently choose a product that is likely to succeed, as demonstrated by the creator's own success.

## Transcript

$6, shipped it to the US, and sold it on Amazon for $29. I sold over 500 units for $29. I sold over 500 units in the first three months. This was my first experience
on Amazon US, and I achieved it all from the comfort of my own home. While I generally understood Amazon, the secret to my success was choosing a successful product. A successful product choosing a successful product. A successful product will greatly assist you in marketing and sales, while an
unsuccessful product will cause significant difficulties. Therefore, it's crucial to choose a product we're certain will be successful. I know many people want to start but are hesitant about product selection and don't want to experiment, only to have to repeat the process, ship another product from
China, and incur additional costs. Today, I'll share my experience of choosing a successful product on Amazon US, backed by figures, to ensure its success. This is n't just personal opinion; I'll start from scratch and explain step-by-step how I selected a successful product and the
Jungle. Scout, and I know many people know about it, but many also don't know how to use it to its fullest potential. This tool will also help us get products, not necessarily from China, because of the customs duties issue. We can get them from America, Vietnam, or other countries.
First, a simple idea about Amazon US for those who don't know it. The idea is simply that you sell from your location on the world's largest online store, Amazon US, which receives more than a billion visits per month. So you create an account on Amazon and ship your goods to
Amazon US. Then you manage the entire sales process from the control panel, and you can sell as a dropshipper, arbitrage, wholesale, for example, or even private label, or you can sell your own products. The most important element for success on Amazon US is choosing a successful product, and today we will use the Jungle Scout
tool to explain how I created it and how I chose a successful product. So let's start now. For example, if I want to find a successful product on Amazon US, what do I do? First, I'll go to Product Research. We'll talk about that, God willing. We also have Product Database.
First, we'll choose our market: the American market. Okay, we have the American market. After that, I'll choose which categories I want to focus on. I generally don't like things that are large, or have too many parts, or contain cosmetics, chemicals, certificates,
etc., or things for children because they're very complicated. So, for example, I'll choose clothing and jewelry. I'd choose Human Cuisine; it's really good. I might choose Garden items. I wouldn't choose Toys because there are some reservations about them with children, and so on. Aircrafts—I
might choose them. The same goes for Baby. I don't want to include Mobile Phones and Electronics because some of them have warranties, not repairs, broken items, and so on. I don't want to get into all that. We also have Health and House Hall. I might
include those, but they're not really in my field. Office Products is very important, and Bit is also good. Toolbox and Home Improvement are all very distinctive fields. I want to know what to choose. So, it asks me what size product I want: oversized or medium? I want medium. I don't
want anything oversized. Here, I'm choosing FBA. What's the idea behind FBA? I see products currently sold on Amazon using the FBA system and successful, so I want to compare them with the want to compare myself to products that Amazon sells itself or that people working in
goods themselves while sitting in America. This business model is a bit different. You might find a seller who has a store in America and is also working in FBA. It's important, so I don't want to compare myself to them. I want to compare myself to people who ship to
Amazon's warehouse. I'm choosing FBA. Here are some main points; I can choose the abbreviations above. Filter based on that, and you can choose what points are below. First, we have the price. It is very important that the price be at least $19, and we should keep it at most, or let's talk about $35.
Why? Because, as we know, on every sale in FBA Amazon, they will take $4.50 from us as shipping fees. So if the product price is $10 and Amazon takes $4.50, you will be left with $5.
If the product price is $30 and they also take only $4, you will be left with a very large amount. So, the lower the product price, the higher the FBA shipping percentage will be. Therefore, it is preferable to have a very good range of $19 to $35. Okay, what if my product was originally priced in the
market and sold for $5 or $10? What should I do? What you'll do is combine two items into one product. For example, instead of selling a box of tissues for $5, you'll sell two boxes together as one product for $10 or $20. And the same applies here: we shouldn't exceed
35 because the higher the price, the more resistance the customer will have to buy, especially if we're new to the market. Secondly, I want to focus on successful new products that have just been on the market for three or six months. I don't want to see a successful product that's been around for a year or
two; its market is probably over, and I can't compete in it anymore. So, I'll focus on new products in the market. I'll choose to have a minimum of reviews, or at most, let's say 50 reviews maximum. I'll leave the net reviews
as they are. As for profitability, I'll use that for contracting with suppliers, so I'll also be looking to leverage my expertise with star suppliers. Let's leave the BSR (Business Rating) as is. I want to sell at least 100 Unit Salts per month. That's roughly per month. I want to sell at least
100 units per month. I don't want products that sell less than that, or even 70 units, let's say. The number of sellers isn't a problem. I'll leave the Renew as is. If sellers isn't a problem. I'll leave the Renew as is. If that's all, I'll do a search. It brought me
products on Amazon with the same specifications I set, so I have 114,000. That's not a huge number. So what should I do? First, I'll reduce it a bit to make it a little harder for them. I'll make it
30 units, for example, and set the number of Unit Salts sold to 100. I might also remove some items. Let me remove these items, for example, this one and this one. I don't want to include them. Okay, fine. Or I might leave them, but that's not a problem. I'm trying to narrow down the focus. The basic goal should be a somewhat reasonable number. 50,000 is very good. I could choose
five or six suggested products and put them in my Excel file. I have all these products, and it tells me, for example, that this product has only five reviews. Five reviews means it's clearly a new product and is currently selling 111 units per month. So, it's just
launched, and we'll definitely check it out together. It's just launched and has been selling since it was first released, so this product has a very good potential. I'll go to Amazon and check out the product. Okay, this product is an oxygen bag or food containers, I think. If it doesn't take me, it's oxygen containers. I'm
not sure exactly what this product is, but it's a great product, may God bless it. So, generally speaking, okay, I can add it to the list, but let's look at another product. For example, let's look at but let's look at another product. For example, let's look at another product. Okay, for example, this one is for
coffee. As we can see, it has 26 reviews, so it's also new and is currently selling 111 units per month. The same quantity, and the product costs $31, which is very good. And $3, this coffee strainer, this
Cocoa filter, is amazing! Its price is good, and the sales figures are very good and based on numbers. Someone is currently selling it, and Toda has entered the market and is selling at very good prices. So if I bring a product from China with the same specifications, I will
with the same specifications, I will undoubtedly gain a significant market share. This is guaranteed, God willing. How much market share do you gain depends on your skill, God willing. But the most important thing is to make sure the product is successful. After that, the marketing and all these operations will be
resolved, God willing. I currently have one successful product that I'll add to my list and look for other products. I see what other products I have. For example, I have a hat. This hat will likely be a brand name, but we don't want to get into brands. So, this item, okay, I can add it to the
list too. We also have cartons, okay. So I start looking to filter based on the number of units sold. I want a product that has sold Recently, there's been a lot of competition. For example, someone might sell a
probably a lot of competition, so this is the first method. I'll list about five or six products together in the same way. Then I'll put them in an Excel file. Okay, for example, this Excel file I've created is for decorative lighting. The product is called "decorative lighting," and the cost of the product with shipping is approximately... Let me put that in. I
can add it later. We'll talk about the supplier or vendor for now. So, we'll leave it blank for now, or $4.50, the selling price on Amazon, or the price the competitor is on Amazon, or the price the competitor is selling it for, which is $24. For example, Amazon's fees are usually
selling it for, which is $24. For example, Amazon's fees are usually 35% to 30%. You set the maximum to 35%, but sometimes it's 30%. This is the total of all fees: storage, FBA, and their commission. You'll get your net profit automatically. Then I'll put the product link
from Alibaba or the supplier. Whether it's on Alibaba or outside of Alibaba, and the competitor's product link on Amazon, for example, I look at this competitor I chose, say in car accessories. Okay, this product I chose, for example, is $ 23 or $24, good. The number of reviews is 99,
okay, it's considered a bit high, but I'm also sure that some people sell the same product with fewer reviews and still sell very well because they're selling 3600 units in one month. So, for me, 200 or 300 units in one month is very good. Finally, I add the number of
reviews and the number of sales in the last 30 days, then I give it a final rating from me. For example, I rated this product X out of X, and so on. So now I look at the second product, for example, a coffee filter. I write "coffee filter" and add the product cost with shipping and all of
this in full. Then I start comparing. When I have five to seven, I start comparing them and choose the best one. Now let's talk about the supplier and how I can Get a supplier even if it's outside of Alibaba. We'll go to the supplier section
here and choose the supplier database. Here it tells me to choose the product name. For example, we'll go to our product, for example, this is a wireless light, so for example, wireless lights. I will choose, I will write the product name here and see suppliers from all of what? Around the world, okay? Here in Guangzhou, we have a
Chinese company. Here, we have another Chinese company. Here, we have an American company. Here, this is an American company. I can contact them directly and give them my contact information. This company is from Vietnam. This company is also from Vietnam. They tell you what their customers bought and what
products they specialize in. They specialize in glass and home goods. They calculate the number of shipments these companies have sent to America. So, I can choose this Vietnamese company, or the American one, or the Chinese one. I always like to compare. I always compare these companies with Alibaba.
Alibaba, it's true that customs fees might have increased a bit recently for America, but traders are still buying from China, and the costs might be much lower than from Vietnam, or even from within America. After I finish and collect about five to seven products, I start evaluating them and choose the best product,
God willing, from all of them. And I say, "In the name of God." So, you You will choose a product that you are sure, God willing, will be successful because it was based on numbers, and others who have only been in the market for three to six months have succeeded with this product. In conclusion, if you want to start a project selling on
Amazon US, I will put a practical step-by-step video explanation here. If you have any questions or inquiries, write them in the comments section below, and God willing, I will answer everyone. I would be very happy if you supported me with a thank you for watching, and I will see you in the next video, God willing. Yeah.
