[00:29] the Old Republic that obviously Dragon Age and then freaking Mass Effect. They defined millions of people's childhoods for decades. And to think that their lasting legacy, what they're going to be remembered by as a company is going to
[00:43] be this absolute dog [ __ ] that they released where they spend five minutes lecturing you over gender politics within a [ __ ] fantasy game. It makes me so disgusted. And I'm I'm making this video just to vent because honestly this
[00:58] is a massive eye opener I think for so many companies. Stop doing this. You're destroying your IPs. You're destroying your games. You're shoving away actually your real fans that have literally been providing for you for many, many
[01:12] decades, but you decide to bite the hand that feeds you. Shove them away just to get the we own the chuds on your status report. I absolutely hate everything about this and it makes me so upset that instead of being sad that Boware is
[01:27] shutting down, I'm more or less happy that the company is finally closing its doors. The only thing I am relatively sad about is that it is no longer the boware that I knew. The boware that I grew up with, that I played Neverwinter
[01:40] on PC, creating custom levels and maps. It is not the same boware where I spent countless hours at the beginning of Star Wars getting my ass beat over and over play a game like that. I remember
[01:52] getting stuck and lost in Mass Effect but loving the world. And to think that countless of hundreds upon hundreds of hours of joy is just going to be remembered for Dragon Age Vell Guard and throwing in gender politics disgust me
[02:06] to my very freaking core. But they deserve it. They brought it upon themselves. They opened up the casket and they lied in it because that's exactly what they have done. And them trying to guilt me with like, oh, you
[02:19] storytelling developers and stuff like that, trying to list their best gaming accomplishments. Yeah, you know, I'll tell you, you did make some good games, but not anymore. I mean, you made the abomination Anthem as well. Like, oh, do
[02:31] we even need to get into Anthem? So, it's just like when we look at just this it's just like when we look at just this Boware, it it saddens me to my very core that they actually literally didn't listen to their fans, their actual fans.
[02:44] companies, I think they're starting to realize this, especially with all these different studios closing down. Stop trying to cater to a modern audience that doesn't [ __ ] exist. Stop throwing in your gender politics into a
[02:58] have political themes within your game, but make them organically fit in. Trying to throw in modern-day problems and our present era into a fantasy game just
[03:10] does not work. Everything about this is just straight up selfinsert and everybody saw it. And this is one of the biggest talking points of Dragon Age Velgar, the last game that they made. It just it makes me so mad, man. Because
[03:25] this is happening to just multiple of my favorite game studios or not studios, just games in general franchises. Like look at how Halo has been absolutely dumpstered over the years for the decade plus and just what 343 and the Halo
[03:38] studios did to it. And then obviously seeing what's recently happened with the Gears of War controversy and then Valgard obviously with Dragon Age. It's just like I'm glad we didn't get any more Mass Effect from them. But I do
[03:51] want to point out that Mass Effect, like the continuation of Mass Effect, has been in limbo for like half a decade. Like, wasn't it announced like 2021? Like I don't know, Chibi, if you filling up to it, add it on the screen here.
[04:04] Throw it on the screen showing when the Mass Effect announcement was made, but I believe it was like 2021. It It's been like 6 years. Okay. So, it's just like, dude, they continuously rather have thrown in a Dragon Age game with gender
[04:18] they wanted, a continuation of Mass Effect, making a good game for the decades. But no, they didn't want to do that. And it's just like everything that's happened to Boware is of their own design, their own incompetence as a
[04:33] company. And it is a no-brainer that they have officially shut down. And thoughts on this? This is my actual thoughts. My actual thoughts is welcome home to McDonald's. Everyone that worked at Boware and made that trash ass
[04:48] Velguard deserves to work at McDonald's. Your ass got [ __ ] incompetent when it trans ideology and all this type of stuff into a game. I don't want to be lectured in a fantasy game. I don't. That's not a game I want. And it just
[05:02] like nobody that played Dragon Age fans wanted that. That's the truth. That's the 100% truth. Nobody wanted to deal with it, but they didn't listen and now they're dead as a company. They slash were. So, I will leave it at that. I
[05:19] just I wanted to vent because honestly, this is just happening over and over. I keep seeing some of my favorite studios that I knew for decades just closing doors because they keep making stupid decisions. And will these companies that
[05:32] decisions. And will these companies that are still alive learn from this? No. No, indoctrinated with these politics and gender identity and stuff to be able to try to reverse course because they are just uh they have too much sunk cost
[05:46] fallacy that that's what is going on and they rather run everything into the ground and then admit that they're actually wrong and uh yeah uh this is actually wrong and uh yeah uh this is the consequences of your actions but um
