[00:00] that are causing people to click away from your videos. and you look at your video reports, one of these things, but it's okay. [00:12] we're gonna make sure that that doesn't happen. So because of that, don't waste time with things like in this video or in today's video, [00:25] The problem with saying those things is "Hey, did I make the right choice here?" For example, if you have a fishing channel, [00:39] "Hey guys, welcome back to another video. that are going to help you catch more fish." for a longer period of time, do something like this. [00:52] but you're probably using the wrong bait. instead of saying something like, and today I'm gonna be talking to you [01:04] Don't do that in the video yet. and get to the point with something like, once and for all," or, and this is the last example [01:18] Or if you have a gaming channel, "Hey guys, today we're gonna be playing GTA 5, That doesn't tell the viewer anything outside [01:31] Instead, say something like, "Today we're playing GTA 5 Last time, we got it up to 20 within a 10 minute period, Not only do I tell 'em what game that we're playing, [01:45] so it instantly makes it more interesting. but then we're also trying to do this very specific thing. The approach that we're trying to take here is when the [01:59] that we're giving them exactly what it is that they need to hold their attention to them in some way. [02:12] and make it so that when somebody comes into the video, Now, another really important part to starting your videos is it's also important to make sure [02:24] and how those are creating an expectation for the viewer So if you can think of what that expectation might be "Okay, if somebody sees this on YouTube's homepage [02:39] in that case, what might they be expecting to hear Try to give them that. It's not going to be your tagline. [02:52] as quickly as possible. I know you wanna get likes on your videos just like I do. at the very beginning of the video [03:05] You wanna make sure that you're delivering content first to subscribe or like your video. of storytelling in your content [03:19] In that particular case, then of course, you do still need but it needs to be related to your story in some way. that somebody might get outta the video, it would be a way [03:33] to pull them into the story the whole idea is to make sure Because what you're trying to do is grab their attention [03:47] then you're gonna be able to keep them watching your videos So because of that, in your scripts, that you are removing any type of filler type [04:01] and that you're just getting right into something of extra time when you're putting your videos together and you're gonna get people enjoying your content [04:16] And by the way, if you are new to YouTube to go yet, I really recommend and writing effective titles, [04:31] and I'll see you over there in the next video. Thank you so much for watching.
