## Transcript

came into my house, literally shat on my floor, and is like, "You take a whiff, and there's nothing you can do about it." Because what do you mean One Punch it." Because what do you mean One Punch Man is getting a live action? Bro,
Don't worry. My Hero Academia is getting a live action. So, we'll we'll talk about this one in a second, but what we got to we Like this series can't win, dude. No matter
no matter what, this series is literally taking blows left and right continuously. Like poor One Punch Man. Poor One Punch Man. Poor Just like why
does this series get the worst potential outcomes? Like we had an absolute dumpster fire of a season 3. That just hands down, I'm just going to say was one of the worst anime adaptations I
one of the worst anime adaptations I have ever experienced for a high-profile anime adaptations out there, but once again, I want to reiterate high-profile. again, I want to reiterate high-profile. One Punch Man has no business being in
the absolute disastrous dog [ __ ] like state that it had for season 3. And let that's bearable compared to what we got to season 3. And then season 4 is what I talked about already a month ago. But the point is is that this series
there's been a curse that's been put on this series. Like ever since the first season came out and like how godlike it was, that really just to this day, if you go back and watch season 1, it is still ahead of its time. Like the
techniques and the quality and everything, it is so beyond ahead of its hard-pressed to find anything that can even compare with the sheer quality of season 1 of One Punch Man. And the fact that it's been over a decade, way over a
decade since season 1 came out, and the the series has not even gotten even 50% close to how good season 1 was is just a travesty. And it's actually spiraling and getting worse. And everyone at the top, the suits and everything, they they
are literally milking this dry to the point to where they're just killing it. Like they're killing this franchise. They they are actually killing One Punch Man. And you know why I'm saying that? It's because I have seen a radical
drop-off of people reading even the manga. Like I'm not even joking. Like I have seen a lot of people that are active followers of One Punch Man just stop reading the manga. Because just the overall devastating state of the
franchise has just really soured everybody's mood for One Punch Man everybody's mood for One Punch Man content. And that is sad. It is actually just [ __ ] sad. Just everything about the entire situation. And I just I have
not seen a franchise mishandled to this degree in a very long time. At least in the gaming space, I could I could think of Halo for instance. Like obviously the mismanagement of that. But like just everything about
One Punch Man, it is just you honestly it is a something you use as an example to learn from not to do. What not to do for an anime adaptation and how to run a franchise. Because this this is honestly it's running on life
support. It really is. And at this point the only people that are really watching it or care about One Punch Man besides the die hard fans that are really hooked up to the the copium and hopium machines is those that are hate watching and just
want to see how far and bad it's going to get. And just seeing this situation with One Punch Man actually beginning a live-action, it really just I have no hope for this. I I have no hope that this is going to
be good at all. Because I just we got we got track record here. Well, we have a track record of already absolute dog [ __ ] adaptations of One Punch Man. But then you throw in a live-action adaptation, this is a recipe for
adaptation, this is a recipe for disaster. It is. And look, script is, you know, working on it, it's the people that kind of work behind Rick and Morty. And there's a lot of people that hate Rick and Morty. I personally
like it. And honestly, the latest season of Rick and Morty has been quality. It has been godly, honestly. It's probably the best season for a very long time. But regardless of my thoughts of Rick and Morty or its problems and greatness,
I don't think anyone from Hollywood can perfectly capture the essence of One Punch Man. I I I just don't think that's possible. And a lot of people that dive into these type of products for like anime or manga being turned into live
action in the West, usually they're just kind of jumping on the hype train to that's legit it. That it's all about the money. It's it's not about the the the integrity for the franchise or anything like that. It's just about milking it
dry and making money. And we've already seen a track record with One Punch Man and how it is literally just that. It's just basically they're squeezing as much money as they can out of a rock. That that's it. And I feel like this entire
that direction, especially with Sony Pictures basically kind of heading the know how Sony is, especially as of late and all that. And a bunch of other stuff even outside the gaming, you know,
This is just I hate this, man. Like this actually is just this is seeing a series that legit is just dying slowly, like an agonizing crippling death, is just depressing. It is.
Because One Punch Man is doing that. It is dying from a very slow agonizing death. Now, there is something I do want to reiterate here when it comes to this information of One Punch Man. This is true. This like this is actually
even an article on this that was posted a while back. Back in 2020, there was a Hollywood live action film. And then it's kind of more information has come out since then, but basically this This movie has been in the works for 6 years,
okay? Like over 6 years. And when a movie is being worked on for over 6 years, guys, >> we know. We We know it's it's cooked. It's it's it's it's freaking cooked,
Mhm. When When a movie from Hollywood is taking that long, it's not a good sign. It's it's it's not. It's it's a very bad sign. Now, with the absolute dumpster fire that One Punch Man is in, we need to talk about the other one
which I briefly showed, which is My Hero Academia. So, My Hero Academia, it's to be getting a live action anime adaptation. This isn't, once again, that surprising, but it's clear that a lot of people were unaware of this information
that My Hero Academia was getting a live action adaptation. And it's been reported in the works. As you can see here, this was posted back in, you know, 2025, you know, last year in September. So, this is relatively old news, but a
lot of people didn't even know My Hero Academia was getting a live action. And blow up, as you can see here, 3 million views. But, um to kind of get into the um apparently it's being written by Jason uh Jason Fox. Oh Oh what a What a
written by the person that did, apparently, Wonder Woman, Ice Age: Continental Drift, and uh uh Argylle, or however you pronounce that, forgive me, with you, I haven't actually watched these. I haven't. I I have heard,
however, that uh Wonder Woman wasn't that good of a movie. I Correct me if I'm wrong. And on top of that, I mean, it's from Hollywood, okay? Like guys guys, they're going to turn My Hero Academia
They're They're They're going to do that. They're going to remove some of the core essence that makes like My Hero Academia My Hero Academia and just turn it into a generic Marvel movie. That that is what will happen. Okay? I'm just
I'm going to say it. And so, I honestly one. I I do think that it's not going to be like outright terrible. Like I don't think it's going to be an absolute dumpster fire, but I think that it's not
going to be good. It's going to be like a low bar like okayish like superhero a low bar like okayish like superhero movie or something. That that's my my going to be anything to write home about. I could be wrong. Who knows?
Maybe I'll be surprised. But I just I don't know if they can really capture the essence of My Hero Academia properly and the Japan-like aesthetic. I just I don't think they can do that. Um speaking of which, which I forgot to
Punch Man stuff, it is being rewritten, by the way. >> [laughter] >> It's being rewritten. Oh my god. so it's say it's not even being like
It's not even following the story that we love. we love. >> [laughter] >> Oh boy. You hate to see it.
So, overall, I wanted to talk about this cuz this was very fascinating news that watching. May all of you have a fantastic day or night wherever you fantastic day or night wherever you live. Be safe. Stay healthy. She be out.
