[00:01] of 20, I was arrested a total of three times for things that I'm not too proud of. By 24, I was a self-made millionaire, and now almost a decade in, nothing more than just a laptop bring in over half a million dollars a month. In
[00:14] this video, I'm going to be sharing my full story, some of it that I've never because I genuinely believe that somebody watching this right now is think. I'll walk you through everything, the streets, losing it all, the moment
[00:28] that changed my whole life, and exactly how you can use the same vehicle that got me out. I grew up with a single mom who worked so much that she was gone 2 the lights on. And I mean that literally, okay? Like games, events,
[00:42] senior night, I was always showing up by myself. That's just how it was. It didn't have the time. And honestly, when I'm looking back, that forced me to nobody else was going to. You see, what I did have from a really young age was
[00:56] just this crazy obsession with money. Not in a greedy way, but more like I watched my parents struggle every day, and I just knew that I never wanted to feel that. So, money was just never a want for me. It always felt like a
[01:08] necessity, and I understood that at 7 or 8 years old. So, at 12, I started Hampton Lawns. I printed flyers in my basement, I put a little logo on them, whole neighborhood, and I ended up with maybe like six or seven recurring
[01:21] them in the summer and shoveling driveways in the winter, cuz we all know was because I always just wanted to make sure that I had at least $100 to my name. But here's the thing that just nobody talks about when you grow up in
[01:34] that the streets are not going to wait for you to figure yourself out. They're just right there. I mean, I watched my sister get arrested multiple times in high school, stealing cars, in and out of rehab. I mean, there was times that
[01:46] high school, and everybody would know who they were looking for. And I saw all my face, so I watched it up close, and I told myself that wasn't going to be me. But knowing what not to do and actually doing the right thing, we all know that
[02:00] those are two very different things. And that gap is exactly what chapter two is about. I mean, think about it. I had the perfect case study of what not to do sister has already been through it all at this point. Arrest, stolen cars,
[02:15] that's only a glimpse of it. So, through these peak teenage years, I mean, I watched every consequence play out in real time from the front row. Most And on top of that, it wasn't even just my sister. I bailed my own mom out of
[02:28] jail at 15 years old with money that I had no business having. That's the that was just a normal Tuesday. And with all that right in front of my face, I still for some reason chose the streets anyway. I still got into selling drugs.
[02:42] decision I told myself that I would never make. And that's the thing about [ __ ] won't catch up to you the way that it caught up to everybody else. But it always does. My first time ever getting arrested, I was just 16 years old. A
[02:57] pair of Air Forces. [music] That's what it was. I wanted something that I just taking it. And what happened is I got to sound crazy. That's [music] actually what got me into selling drugs. Is I
[03:09] told myself I was never going to steal again. I remember telling myself that I was never going to take something that wasn't mine. So, I found another way to and pretend that I didn't know what I was doing. I knew. I 100% knew. The
[03:22] 16-year-old kid who thought the rules was invincible. Nothing could ever happen to me. Then my second arrest And here I actually spent two days in jail. And the scariest part here is at
[03:35] of the lifestyle and I wasn't even scared to go to jail. I remember talking was sitting in that jail like, "Okay, I got caught. I'll do a couple days and biggest problem here is that nobody around me like my friends or family was
[03:49] treating this like a big deal. So, I didn't either. And then came arrest different. I was 19, first person in my entire family to ever even make it to college. And I'm sitting here in a jail cell for 4 days. I got arrested on New
[04:02] holiday, and I actually didn't get out until January 3rd. And throughout those 4 days, I had no choice but just to sit there and think. Just listening to the other cellmates to try to get past time. And I will never forget this dude,
[04:15] it was like his fourth time being in there this year. Another one in his 40s who knew like every single guard by his name, like they were some of his going back and forth with his baby mama about missing another visit with his
[04:28] kid. And I'll never forget those days of me just sitting there thinking. Like, I know these guys. Not personally, but I know exactly how they got here because I road. And I started to envision myself
[04:41] at 35 or 40 years old in the same cell trying to tell some 19-year-old kid who just got in that this was my fifth time being in this jail in like the last year. And that image, that specific image of myself, is what finally broke
[04:54] Because I knew I was smart, I knew I wasn't stupid. I never was. I always knew what I shouldn't be doing. I just kept choosing the wrong thing every time. And the only reason I kept choosing it was because everybody around
[05:07] that's your whole world, that's all you see, that's what you feel is normal, be going down that same path. But sitting in that cell, I got honest with ever in my life. Where the person that I was, the one that everybody knew me as,
[05:22] the one who fit into that life, he could not coexist with the person that I decision that made sense. I packed up everything that I had to my name, and I left. No real plan, no contacts, no idea
[05:35] of what I was actually walking into. I just knew that if I stayed right here in around the same exact people, I was going to continue to keep being the same person and either be dead, in jail, or just absolutely hating my life. So, I
[05:49] Dallas, Texas. It was a fresh start. A completely new city and literally nobody didn't know a single soul in all of Texas. And I landed what looked like a solid sales job. I mean, they had decent pay, good benefits, normal people in the
[06:04] interview. I thought this was it. The clean slate that I finally needed. And I showed up to the first week and right away I found out the truth. This wasn't day just building wine displays inside Walmarts and Targets, working like 60
[06:17] hours a week of straight-up manual labor, getting a $20,000 base salary my rent, I remember, was being a thousand and I'm sitting here only have groceries, I still have gas, I still have utilities. All of my expenses
[06:31] completely took up every single cent that I was making. But, I needed the money. I was extremely desperate, so I showed up every single day. And here's a never told on camera. Sitting in those parking lots of those Targets and those
[06:44] runs. I actually started building an Instagram page called Sneaker Labs and supplier who could give me any shoe at retail and this is right when resale was going crazy. You know, the Off-White trends, the Yeezy trends, all of that
[06:58] going by $700 on the secondary market and I'm sitting here getting them for like 180. And I remember my supplier sending me videos of these shoes like that I created for that shoe page. I'd post a video. Someone would DM me. They
[07:11] hit up my supplier and he just shipped it straight up to them. Where from March to November 2018, I did over $50,000 in revenue. Never once did I actually hold you want to know what's crazy is at the time I never heard of drop shipping
[07:25] once. It wasn't even a thing and I was literally doing it in real time without moment in my life that I realized that you could actually make real money online. But then, everything fell apart at the same time. I came home one day
[07:39] been completely ransacked. They took all my clothes, food, furniture, even the canned foods in my pantry. All of it gone. So, what's the first thing I did? I was scared to lose money, so I called my boss. I was like, "Yo, this is what's
[07:52] like sitting here on the phone with him waiting for some empathetic response. to me? All this man said to me was, "You're in your 90 days of working here, you're going to be suspended or fired." No, are you okay? Like, you know, take
[08:07] the day. Nah, it was like, "You need to show up." And right then and there, I'll pacing back and forth in the parking lot on the phone with him, and I understood something that I've carried with me ever since. And that is that nobody cares
[08:20] And if you want a different life, you have to build it yourself. That's just God I kind of understood it then, because the worst of the worst didn't even happen yet. You see, a few months later, a construction crane, literally a
[08:33] construction crane, collapsed and fell directly into my apartment building. The completely destroyed. A few people actually died. And I mean, it was on the news and everything. And I had nothing and nowhere to go at that moment.
[08:45] home. Red Cross ended up flying in, and they put all of us in sleeping bags right across the street in a church. Now, most people in that situation, they as before. Calling up the old contacts, making fast money the way that I used
[08:59] to. Slip right back into the same cycle that I just fought so hard to get out nobody would have blamed me with the situation that I was in. But I remember little sleeping bag inside 2:00 in the morning, and I'm looking around at this
[09:11] church, and something shifted in me. There was mothers all around, right? With newborn babies sleeping on their chest. Why? Because they ended up only So, the kids, they didn't have cribs, they didn't have baby beds. So, the
[09:23] could to just make it through the night. And throughout those first couple days in that church, I could barely sleep. It was so loud, and my mind was just there was a problem. Like, there was a problem right in front of me. And that
[09:36] for babies to sleep. You want to know what's crazy is I'm not even thinking that this would go viral or that this would be a massive big product. I'm just that I could solve the problem for. So, I sat there and I started researching
[09:50] basically everything a parent in that situation needed, but just couldn't sleeping in this church, the city ended up cutting me a thousand dollar check as compensation for the apartment collapse. So, in this moment I had a choice. Get a
[10:03] new place and play it safe because like that whole last week when I was sleeping interview after job interview and just trying to get as many opportunities to And at the end of that week I ended up having three job offers sitting in my
[10:17] inbox at that exact moment. So, I had options of what I wanted to do. Freedom way, freedom to have the choice of doing what I want on a day-to-day basis, freedom to travel, freedom to make my own choices. And when I knew that's what
[10:29] of those job offers down. And I took every single dollar that I had and I just bet it all on myself. And this is June 2019, right? So, in this moment I told myself I'm going to give myself six months. Six months to go all in or I
[10:42] figure something out with my life. And there's no backup plan, it's just option A or option B. And I chose option A and option A was to go all in. And that's moment. My back is against the wall and I was forced to make this work. Not
[10:56] better life, but because I just genuinely didn't want to go back to the same life that I had before, moving back to the same city that was already decision of going all in, I ended up launching the Shopify store. And after a
[11:09] week, after a lot of building because there's like no AI at that time, you rolling in. I was getting one sale the first day, two to three sales the second day. And I remember like seeing my dashboard actually making revenue. Now,
[11:21] was it slow at first for sure, but it ended up just exploding. And six months later, that one product, that baby bed, the one that I found while I was mothers lay their newborns down on the chest, made over $1.8 million in
[11:35] moment that should have broken me actually became my breakthrough moment. that part of the story. It wasn't luck. It wasn't timing. It was the fact that I was literally in a position where failure was not an option. And that kind
[11:49] of pressure either breaks you or it builds you into a whole other beast. And for me, it woke up the spark inside of me that I've never seen before. Because drop shipping didn't just make me money. It forced me to become someone who

[12:14] alerts at 3:00 a.m. So, I had to learn the system to avoid that the next time. Every time that my ads bombed or my ad account got shut down, well, I lost to do is learn marketing and learn how to run ads the right way. Every time I
[12:28] sourced the wrong product, I learned supply chain. Every time that I misread the data, I learned how to actually scale. Most business models let you hide it. It actually puts everything on the table and forces you to fix it or just
[12:42] someone who came from nothing, no connections, no safety net, that full body workout is exactly what built me into someone who could eventually run an eight-figure operation. That's the real value, not just the first 1.8 million,
