# Why You Keep Entering ONE Candle Too Early

> Source: [Why You Keep Entering ONE Candle Too Early](https://youtube.com/watch?v=MrG4wVipx1Y)

## Summary

This video presents a binary options trading strategy based on Heikin Ashi candles and a 15-second chart, designed to identify and follow strong trends. The strategy is built on three distinct phases: trend identification, pullback, and confirmation, with a specific entry rule that avoids premature trades.

### Key Points

- **Chart Setup** [00:02] — Switch the candle type to Heikin Ashi and set the time frame to a 15-second chart. Heikin Ashi is essential for this strategy as it filters out noise and shows the true direction of momentum.
- **Expiry and Candle Count** [00:17] — The expiry is set to 2 minutes. On a 15-second chart, this covers the next eight candles. This number is important for understanding the trade's duration.
- **Part One: The Trend** [00:31] — The strategy requires a minimum of four, five, or more candles of the same color forming back-to-back. This indicates a strong trend with real momentum. Two or three candles are not enough; patience is required.
- **Part Two: The Pullback** [01:10] — After the trend, there must be exactly one candle of the opposite color. This single candle is the alert signal, indicating a brief pause in the trend and weak traders exiting. You should not trade on this candle, just get ready.
- **Part Three: The Confirmation** [01:23] — The next candle after the pullback must return to the original trend color. This is the confirmation that the pullback failed and the trend is back in control.
- **Entry Rule** [01:37] — The entry is on the candle after the confirmation candle fully closes. Entering early means entering on incomplete information, which is never done in this strategy.
- **Why the 2-Minute Expiry Works** [01:52] — A trend that has printed four or five momentum candles and absorbed a pullback has shown strength three separate times. The 2-minute expiry gives it eight candles of room to continue. The strategy is about following the trend, not predicting it.

### Conclusion

The strategy is a clear, rule-based approach to trading binary options on a 15-second chart, emphasizing patience and confirmation to avoid premature entries. It is a trend-following system that relies on the strength of the trend and the failure of pullbacks.

## Transcript

First, the setup. Open your chart and switch the candle type to Heikin Ashi. This is important. Regular candles will not work the same way for this strategy the noise and show you the true direction of momentum. Now, set your
time frame to the 15-second chart. Fast, yes, but that's exactly why the pattern becomes so clear. And for expiry, we're using 2 minutes. On a 15-second chart, that means our trade covers the next eight candles. Remember that number,
eight candles. It matters, and I'll explain why in a moment. Now, the strategy itself. It has three parts. Watch carefully. Part one, the trend. We wait for four, five, or even more candles of the same
color forming back to back. Not two, not three, minimum four. direction and there's real momentum behind it. If you see only two or three
candles, do nothing. Patience is part of the strategy. Part two, the pullback. exactly one candle of the opposite color. Just one. This is the market
taking a small breath, weak traders exiting, the trend pausing for a second. This single opposite candle is your alert signal. Don't trade it, just get ready. Part three, the confirmation.
Now, watch the very next candle. If the original trend color returns, that's your confirmation. The pullback failed, the trend is back in control. And now, on the candle after that confirmation closes, you enter in the direction of
the trend. Let me repeat that entry rule because this is where most people go confirmation candle, you wait for it to fully close, and your entry is on the next candle. Entering early means entering on incomplete information. We
never do that here. And here's why the 2-minute expiry makes sense. A trend that already printed four or five momentum candles, absorbed a pullback, direction has shown its strength three
separate times. We're simply giving it eight candles of room to continue doing what it's already doing. We're not predicting, we're following.
