They emphasize that surgery is a valid option when diet and exercise fail to achieve desired results, and they share their positive experience and perspective on the trade-offs involved.

## Transcript

I've gotten plastic surgery to remove a large fraction of the fat cells and skin cells that had grown in my love handles. And how do you feel about it the year after? Phenomenal. One of the best decisions I've ever made in retrospect.
Yeah, yeah. It looks awesome. For me, how I look is like a lifelong art project. Sculpting yourself. Sculpting myself, yeah. And I get a huge amount of pleasure from doing so. And so when part of my sculpture, my love handle area, had too much skin and no matter how lean I got it wouldn't cooperate,
then I assessed that it was going to be a worthy trade-off for me to excise the skin with surgery. There are a lot of people who have various protestations about plastic surgery.
Generally, I think it's just a tool. Like, you don't want your teeth dirty. You use a toothbrush and toothpaste, and your teeth looked up. You get orthodontics. You have a part of your body that won't respond to exercise or diet and can only respond to surgery,
and you really want to look different, then there's potentially some trade-off that you can make.
