## Summary

This video provides a comprehensive tutorial on using OKX Pay, a self-custody wallet within the OKX exchange that allows users to send, receive, and spend cryptocurrencies without fees. The presenter demonstrates how to activate the wallet, fund it with stablecoins, and highlights three main benefits: fee-free transactions, spending crypto with the OKX card, and earning returns on USDG balances.

### Key Points

- **Introduction to OKX Pay** [00:02] — OKX Pay is a self-custody wallet within OKX that allows sending and receiving cryptocurrencies simply, quickly, and without fees. The video covers configuration, usage, and benefits.
- **Accessing Pay** [00:16] — The Pay section can be found in three places: at the top, in the squares menu, or as a card icon. At recording time, it's at the top right. Activation requires pressing a button and waiting a few minutes.
- **Funding the Wallet** [01:21] — The wallet supports three stablecoins: USDG, USDT, and USDC. Funding options include from the exchange, from another wallet, or from another Pay user. The presenter adds $10 USDT from the exchange with no fees.
- **Sending Crypto Without Fees** [02:27] — You can send crypto to an address, back to the exchange, or to contacts. Instead of deposit addresses, you only need the recipient's name, phone number, or email. If the recipient doesn't have an account, OKX sends a link to create one.
- **Receiving Crypto** [03:43] — You can receive funds from the exchange, another wallet, or a Pay user. A QR code can be shared or downloaded; a link is created for non-users to join.
- **Remittances Use Case** [04:08] — Pay is useful for remittances from the US to Latin America, avoiding typical $10 fees and delays.
- **Spending with OKX Card** [04:34] — The OKX card is a virtual card (not physical) that can be added to Apple Wallet and used anywhere Mastercard is accepted. No opening fees, and Mastercard offers a rate about 1% below Google's rate.
- **Earning with USDG** [05:37] — Holding USDG in Pay earns 4% APY on the first $10,000 for standard users. VIP users earn more: Level 1 gets 6%, Level 2 gets 8% on the first $10,000.
- **Cashback with USDG** [06:35] — Paying with the OKX card using USDG yields at least 2% cashback in USDG. Standard users get 4% return and 2% cashback; VIP Level 1 gets 6% return and up to 4% cashback; maximum cashback is 5%.
- **Summary of Benefits** [07:16] — The favorite feature is the crypto card for global spending, with 4% return on unused funds and 2% cashback on payments. Sending and receiving between Pay users is fee-free.

### Conclusion

OKX Pay offers a fee-free, self-custody wallet solution with stablecoin support, a virtual card for real-world spending, and attractive yields on USDG, making it a compelling option for crypto users, especially for remittances.

## Transcript

OKX. This wallet allows you to send and receive cryptocurrencies simply, quickly, and without fees. Let's look at its configuration, how to fold it, how to use it, and its main benefits. Let's begin. If you log into the
OKX application, your account must already be verified to use this feature. If for some reason you don't have an account yet, I'll give you a 10% discount on fees. And up here you'll also
see a video on how to create and verify an account. You can find this Pay section in three possible places. One of them is up here . Another one is here where these little squares are. The pay function may appear here
. At the time of recording this video, it is here where this small card square is located, at the top right. You'll find it there. When you you to activate the pay function. To activate it, simply press a button,
activate your pass kit, and wait a few minutes. That's basically it , just pressing a couple of buttons. And this Pay thing, as I already mentioned, is a self-custody wallet within OKX, which you can take full
advantage of. As I already mentioned, this wallet allows you to send and receive cryptocurrencies instantly and without fees. To use this wallet, the first thing to do is to fund it. You can go here where it says balance and
this wallet works with these three stable cryptocurrencies, USDG, USDT and USDC. A stable cryptocurrency. These three stablecoins are cryptocurrencies that maintain their value equal to the US dollar. To fund, we're going to
click on that section I added, and we have three options to add these three cryptocurrencies. The first and most recommended option is to add funds from the exchange, to add funds from the OKX platform. Another option is to
receive crypto from another wallet, and the third option is to receive crypto from another Pay user. We're going to add funds directly from the exchange. And here you choose the cryptocurrency you want to add. I'm going to add USDT. I'm going
to add about $10 and we'll just click on preview. And as I already mentioned, these transactions within Pay will not generate any fees. We simply confirm by sending and that's basically it. At
this time we have already funded our Paye wallet. Once funded, let's move on to the benefits, which are mainly three. The first is that you can send and receive cryptocurrencies without fees.
Starting with the process of sending cryptocurrencies, here you will simply press this section that I made pay. You can send to a crypto address, to an external address. You can also return this money to the exchange, or
the most common way is to pay any contact, to pay other people within the OKX ecosystem. You tap on any contact and here you simply choose the cryptocurrency you want to send from the three options we
have available. I would leave it in whichever one you want. Enter the amount you wish to send. For example, $5. We press next. And here's something quite interesting: with Pay you don't need to enter
deposit addresses. All you need is the person's name, phone number, or email address. Obviously, the phone number or email address of your OKX account. And even if the user doesn't have an account, you
simply select your contact, okay? And what OKX will do is send a link to that contact so they can create an account. So that's quite convenient. You simply enter one of those three things here and you can
send crypto in seconds and without any fees. Adding funds is similar. You press this button that says add and here you can add funds from the exchange, which is what we did, receive cryptocurrencies
from another wallet, or receive cryptocurrencies from a Pay user. someone who also takes into account what is most convenient. We press receive from a pay user and a QR code will appear, which you can
share with people so they can send you money. You can share it or you can download it. When you share it, a link will be created Again, if you don't have an account, you can create one using that same link
. I also find this feature quite useful for people who send remittances from the United States to Latin American countries. You can simply fund your OKX account or your Pay account in the United States and then
in Latin America without having to wait or pay the $10 they usually charge for sending money. So if you have any relatives in the to take a look. Now moving on to the second benefit, which is that with
Pay you can spend your money in the real world. Here within Pay you can also spend your cryptocurrencies with the OKX card. I recently made a video about that card, which I'll link above so you can learn more
about it. In short, it's a virtual card; it's not currently available as a physical card, only digital. You add this card to your virtual wallet—in my case, my Apple Wallet—and you can
pay at establishments anywhere that accepts Mastercard, which is basically worldwide. This card does not generate any fees for opening costs and the whole process is basically free . Regarding the exchange rate,
Mastercard offers a very good rate. You usually get 1% below the exchange rate that's on Google, which I personally think is pretty good. With this Pay feature, you can not only
send and receive cryptocurrencies, but you can also spend them on your daily life. Now let's move on to the third benefit, which is making money with USDG. If you maintain a balance within your Pay wallet and you maintain a balance in the
USDG token, you will receive some benefits. If I enter that benefits section here, you will get two. One of them is that you can receive 4% of the balance you have here in your wallet, so those $10 that
I have are already generating 4% per year. In fact, if you are a VIP user, those benefits are even greater. For example, if you are a Level 1 VIP user, you will get 6% on the first $10,000. If you are a Level 2 VIP user
, you also get 8% on the first $10,000. But in my case, as a regular user, I get 4% on the first $10,000, which is a pretty good percentage. And this is simply because you have your balance in this
wallet. Now, if you make purchases with the card and you decide to pay with that same USDG token, for this you simply go here where it says card, you press the assets and basically press manage tokens and you
basically select that the payments are made only with the USDG token and you press test. By making your payments exclusively in this cryptocurrency, every time you use the crypto card and pay with the USDG token, you will receive a
minimum of 2% cashback in the same USDG token. Standard users will receive a 4% return and 2% cashback. Level 1 VIP users receive
a 6% return and up to 4% cashback, and so on. The maximum is 5% cashback with the USDG token. So not only will you have your money stored here in Pay, but it can also generate returns for you.
Personally, my favorite feature of Pay is the crypto card, which lets you around the world anywhere that accepts Mastercard. On top of that, if you fund your crypto card with the USDG token, you'll get a
minimum return of 4% on that unused money, and when you pay with the crypto card you'll receive at least 2% cashback. And of course, sending and receiving cryptocurrencies between P users without fees
if you have any questions, you can leave them in the comments. I always do my Also, if you don't already have an OKX account, I'll leave the official link in the description, learn more about the platform here. In this video I show you how to create and
video I show you a complete tutorial on OKX. I'll say goodbye here for on OKX. I'll say goodbye here for today.
