But those who understood a little earlier that the [00:29] world is going to become digital. They caught a wave where demand kept increasing rapidly and supply was very low. And this thought brings us to the main question of this video that as of today, which is that field, which is that degree, which is [00:43] that specialization which if we choose, will be in great demand even in 2030. And the idea for this video came cover all the major streams one by one. AI, Engineering, Commerce, Finance, Law, Science [00:59] show you two paths and the exact numbers of both, i.e. salaries. for the algorithm and play it at 1.25x for a better experience. Let's start. But but but a better experience. Let's start. But but but [01:16] and Rs 50 lakh to another ? Even if both of them have done the same degree and same specialization. Is topper? The answer to both is no. See, there is a difference [01:30] in the value of the problem he is solving. If your work gives the company a profit of Rs 10 lakh, then why would the company pay you Rs 50 lakh ? But if because of your skills the company can earn Rs 10 crore or save a loss of Rs 10 crore, then your salary suddenly starts appearing [01:44] justified to those people. So remember a simple formula for high paying careers. Expensive Problem, Scarce Skill and Measurable Impact. The stronger these three are, the greater the earning potential. [01:58] And a small disclaimer, whatever numbers I will mention below are typical ranges for India which can be higher or lower depending on your skill, city and company. Let's AI and Data. First of all, clear your conclusion that I use AI tools. [02:12] It's no longer a skill. Nowadays every little thing uses AI. Let me explain it to you by giving examples of two people. Suppose the first guy gets the Pulls out basic reports. He also creates a small chat [02:24] board. And the other guy is building an AI fraud detection system for a bank. which date the system will use. How much private information of the customer will be safe for them to share. So in India, the starting salary of a fresher AI or ML engineer is usually around ₹6 to ₹9 lakh per annum. After that, senior specialists earn Rs 40 to 80 lakh per annum and top people come in the category of more than Rs 1 crore. After that the second stream is engineering and the biggest myth here is that engineering means coding only. Doesn't happen like this. [03:55] Engineering is not just about coding. What you are talking about is a matter of software. But I am talking about the physical. Be it a Chat Jeepity, a self-driving Tesla car or even a normal washing machine. Moreover, for senior and specialty roles, the salary can range from Rs 40 lakh to more than Rs 1 crore. Now global roles are 3 to [05:53] 5 times more because there you earn in dollars. Open the calculator and I am not going to tell you how much it is. Now comes the third stream which is commerce. Now understand what new things are happening here. But before that I am going to say one thing which may [06:06] hurt you a little. It especially hurt B.Com students. If you are a B.Com student then please or else close your ears. Doing just B.Com and doing basic accounting, bookkeeping, data entry and simple tax filing has almost become a waste today. [06:20] Because this work is predictable, rule based and repetitive. These trades that I just told you about are exactly the things that AI can automate first. Look at two people, the first guy is passing the entries. Filing Basic GST Returns. [06:33] Meanwhile, another guy is doing an audit for the acquisition of a company. Where a hidden wrong number or a wrong zero can lead to a fraud worth crores. Both of them are from commerce but the first one is doing data entry and the second one is deciding whether the [06:47] entire deal is safe or not and this is where information and judgment get separated. AI will generate the numbers for you and draft the returns. But AI can never tell you precisely whether these numbers are correct or [07:00] can only predict what impact these numbers will have on the business. That's where a real human can precisely point out what impact these numbers will have on the business. That judgment, that liability remains only in the hands of humans. So [07:14] in commerce there is the biggest gap between a generic accountant and a qualified professional. And the most accessible and most global way to cross this gap is provided by a single qualification. Which is ACCA i.e. Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. This [07:27] qualification makes you eligible to work in over 180 countries. This means that your mode of commerce is not limited to India only. Now you will think that when there is CA then why ACCA? The difference is very simple. CA is for domestic audit of India. [07:41] But ACCA is global. Recognized in more than 180 countries. And it is specifically preferred by the global finance teams of M&A and the Big Four. Secondly, CA exams are grouped and very brutal. Whose pass rate also [07:54] falls to single digit. But ACCA is paper by paper. So that you can clear it at your own pace while doing college or job. And the eligibility is just that you should have cleared 10th. Its duration is 1.5 to 3 years and if you are [08:06] already doing B.Com or BBA then you get exemption of up to five papers and if you are a qualified CA then you get exemption of up to nine papers. Exception means you will not have to submit the papers. Now the advantage of this is that whatever you are already reading does [08:18] gets his credits. And talking about numbers, ACCA freshers in India usually start from ₹4 to ₹8 lakh per annum. And top offers go up to ₹1 lakh per annum. Plus, as you gain experience, you will easily get 15 to 25 LPA. [08:31] And at the Senior Finance Controller or CFO level, it ranges from Rs 40 to 50 lakh to more than Rs 1 crore. And if you go to UK or Dubai, then the same qualification can easily get you Rs 20 to 30 lakh. And the other guy is playing strategy negotiation and highest [music]. Look, AI will write the contract and give it to you. He will read and deliver 100 judgments in a few minutes. The [14:02] final question is what is the right thing to do for my business ? And if this step goes wrong, who will be responsible for it? Doctor Experience Trust [Music] and Previous Track Record. These are some specialized high stake areas where crores of rupees depend on the decisions of one person. Now look at the numbers. The [14:28] starting salary of a fresher lawyer in India is around Rs 6 to 12 lakh per annum. But if you survive and become a top litigator, you can charge anywhere from ₹5 to ₹1 lakh for just one hearing. But there are equally big downsides because law is a very long game. It takes [14:42] because law is a very long game. It takes Maybe that's why all the good lawyers are a little old. I am joking. After that the fourth stream is Science and Medicine. And don't judge this stream at the age of 22 [14:54] because it is possible that a software engineer may have started earning at the age of 22. While the medical student is still doing a short training in a hospital. If you compare only the first five years, then medical will seem like a [15:06] very weak and useless decision to you. But if you shift the comparison to 35, 40, 50 then your picture changes completely. But these numbers will be biggest cost of medical is not the fees but the dealt earnings. These [16:10] doctors are able to earn some decent income today only after the age of 28 to 30 years and by then an engineer already has the Moreover, this career of yours will not remain emotionally neutral. These are the [17:57] people who decide what AI will create. AI works for them, not replaces them. And now I will tell you some numbers which will surprise you a lot. The starting salary of a UX or product designer in India is Rs 3 to 6 lakh per annum. UX [18:10] Researcher's 6 to 9 lakh per enum.
