[0:00] here's how to come up with viral video [0:01] ideas and titles that blow up your [0:03] channel just like I did with my first [0:04] video as well as countless others first [0:06] you'll need to figure out your Channel's [0:07] Niche which honestly should be really [0:09] easy for example this channel like my [0:11] channel is in the niche of YouTube [0:12] education because every single video on [0:15] the channel is about educating aspiring [0:16] YouTubers in contrast this channel is [0:19] the niche of game development because [0:20] every single video on the channel is [0:22] about creating video games the key in [0:24] both of these scenarios is that a [0:25] channel has a defined Niche when [0:27] virtually every single video is about [0:29] the same thing which is important [0:30] because it's really difficult to go [0:32] viral if your content is subscriber base [0:34] lie in a bunch of different niches [0:36] regardless of how good your video ideas [0:37] are on a side note if you're interested [0:39] in videos like mine that teach you how [0:40] to grow on YouTube you'll probably be [0:41] interested in that first Channel's [0:43] content and if you're interested in [0:44] coding and video game creation you'll [0:46] probably want to check out the second [0:47] Channel but anyway if your channel [0:48] doesn't have a clearly defined Niche [0:50] pick one and stick to it for every [0:52] single upload going forward eventually [0:54] the videos and subscribers on your [0:55] channel that aren't in said Niche will [0:57] lose their influence on your new videos [0:58] as performance if you've got a of other [1:00] videos nullifying their impact basically [1:02] if your channel doesn't have a niche now [1:04] it eventually will if you just continue [1:05] to stick to that Niche for your future [1:07] uploads once you've figured out your [1:08] Channel's Niche you'll be able to use [1:10] these four methods that I'll be [1:11] outlining next to generate viral video [1:13] ideas that will blow up your channel [1:14] method number one involves you coming up [1:16] with ideas interviews that are almost [1:18] too good to be true in the case of my [1:20] Game Dev Channel which I made before the [1:21] one that you're watching right now I [1:23] made a game in one line of code I made a [1:25] game engine in seven days and I made a [1:27] video game with no computer are all [1:28] Concepts that seem pretty much [1:30] impossible or at the very least really [1:32] impressive because for example if you're [1:33] looking at the first title thinks wow [1:35] how does he make a game with only one [1:37] line of code the idea is to get the [1:39] viewer questioning how exactly you [1:40] accomplish what you're promising the [1:42] title on the channel of mine that you're [1:43] watching right now how I monetize my [1:45] channel in 30 days falls under this [1:47] bubble as well because it's likely that [1:49] my viewer is interested in growing on [1:51] YouTube are curious how I monetize my [1:53] channel in such a short time now I want [1:55] you to grab some paper ink in a [1:56] typewriter because we're going to use [1:58] this method to generate some video [1:59] Concepts right now now without worrying [2:01] about your realistic capability to make [2:03] them think of 20 to 30 absolutely [2:05] impossible impressive or absurd claims a [2:07] video in your Niche could make some [2:09] examples from my channel might be how to [2:11] easily get 1 million subscribers on [2:13] YouTube how to make a hundred thousand [2:14] dollars a month with YouTube Automation [2:16] and how to get 90 retention on your [2:19] YouTube videos get creative within the [2:20] limits of your Niche don't even worry [2:22] about whether these videos could [2:23] actually get created or not then once [2:24] you've got a list of Concepts now you're [2:26] going to write down exactly how you'd [2:28] accomplish each one and I guarantee you [2:29] you can get creative to accomplish [2:31] almost everything on your list obviously [2:33] start by knocking out the video Concepts [2:35] that you can just literally do like for [2:37] example a concept like how I became a [2:39] professional video editor I could [2:41] definitely do as I've personally [2:42] accomplished that myself basically just [2:45] cross out stuff you can do without lying [2:46] then move on to Concepts that you could [2:48] do with a bit of help for example if you [2:50] run a channel like mine and have a [2:51] concept like how to easily get 1 million [2:53] views on YouTube but haven't actually [2:55] done it yourself yet maybe in the video [2:57] you'll just interview a successful [2:58] YouTuber who actually has gotten a [3:00] million views and she'll actually be [3:02] able to make an honest video that [3:03] entertains educates or does whatever you [3:05] want to your viewers if you run a [3:07] lifestyle and Vlogs Channel about [3:08] traveling then maybe you'll change a [3:10] concept like I travel to all seven [3:12] continents in one week which is honestly [3:14] probably impossible to we travel to all [3:17] seven continents in one week and just [3:18] have you and your friends on separate [3:19] paths traveling to different continents [3:21] at the same time so that once again the [3:23] video is actually honest and can [3:24] entertain educate you know whatever the [3:26] sky's the limit just the goal with a [3:28] strategy like this is to always make [3:30] sure you have an honest video but that [3:31] doesn't mean you can't straddle the line [3:33] if you know what I mean for example with [3:35] my video I made a game in one line of [3:37] code on my gamedev channel I end up [3:39] technically making a game in one line of [3:41] code however it's literally just a [3:43] hundred lines of code stuffed into a [3:44] single Row in my text editor I did the [3:46] same with I made a video game with no [3:48] computer as in the video I technically [3:49] didn't use my computer but instead just [3:52] called my friends on the phone and [3:53] walked them through how to make a game [3:54] step by step using their computers the [3:56] key here is that I at least partially [3:58] delivered on the promises that I made [3:59] with my my titles and made up for the [4:01] part that I didn't deliver on with an [4:03] absolute Banger video If you decide to [4:05] use this strategy and your titles rely [4:07] on small technicalities like these two [4:09] examples do then you also need to follow [4:11] it up with a really good video that [4:12] makes viewers not really care that they [4:14] got a tiny bit clickbait if you follow a [4:16] banger title and video concept with a [4:18] video then viewers end up leaving [4:20] negative feedback that hurt your channel [4:22] because once again like I said they feel [4:24] clickbaited which you really want to [4:25] avoid as much as possible method number [4:28] two is research and I know this is an [4:30] obvious one but stick with me because [4:31] you probably aren't going about it the [4:33] right way researching viral video topics [4:35] can be done two different ways the first [4:36] is the researching trending topics [4:38] appropriately called Trend Jackie to [4:40] generate ideas that blow up in the short [4:42] term an example of this is in 2020 when [4:44] creators that make content about the [4:46] video game Among Us were able to easily [4:48] bring in millions of views which was [4:50] obviously great at the time however this [4:51] success was limited to the time frame in [4:53] which Among Us was popular and the same [4:55] video is being posted in 2023 get a lot [4:58] less views than they did just three [4:59] years earlier because obviously the game [5:01] isn't as popular despite these sometimes [5:03] short-term success of trend jacked [5:05] videos if you can consistently create [5:07] content on trending topics in your Niche [5:09] it's not really going to matter because [5:11] your channel will still be bringing in [5:12] consistent views but how does one [5:14] actually find Trends to create videos on [5:16] the most simple and straightforward way [5:17] is to go to the trending tab or any of [5:19] these other subcategories in the explore [5:21] sidebar on the YouTube homepage the [5:23] trending tab is great in the sense that [5:25] it's got videos from every single Niche [5:27] about topics that are well trending and [5:29] the other subcategories in that same [5:31] sidebar do the same thing with just more [5:33] specific niches like sports fashion and [5:35] more all of which you can take ideas [5:37] from for example there are a few videos [5:39] about the Teemu app that are currently [5:41] trending in the trending tab signaling [5:43] to us as creators that content about [5:45] Teemu will probably do well as long as [5:47] of course it aligns with our Channel's [5:49] Niche however maybe your Niche is a [5:51] little more specific than these popular [5:52] ones and you also can't find topics that [5:54] align with your niche in the trending [5:56] tab which leads us to Google Trends [5:58] Google Trends is a website that allows [5:59] to find the amount of search traffic [6:01] associated with a given keyword on [6:03] Google regardless of its current [6:05] popularity this is helpful because High [6:07] search traffic for a keyword on Google [6:08] is usually representative of its chance [6:10] for virality on YouTube as there's [6:12] likely a big audience for it for example [6:14] at the time of recording Olivia Rodrigo [6:16] is currently trending on Google search [6:18] due to buzz around her new album [6:19] releasing suit meaning if it aligns with [6:22] your Niche a video on Olivia Rodrigo [6:24] will probably do well there's even a tab [6:25] called trending now that's really [6:27] similar to the trending tab on YouTube [6:29] but once again you still might not be [6:31] able to find potential video topics that [6:33] align with your Channel's Niche using [6:34] this method luckily YouTube has you [6:36] covered if you hop into YouTube Studio [6:37] there's a tab in your analytics called [6:39] research this tab literally shows you [6:41] the exact Search terms and keywords that [6:43] are trending on YouTube at the moment [6:45] and even takes it a step further to show [6:47] you the keywords that your personal [6:48] audience is interested in I've [6:50] personally used this strategy a ton and [6:52] you can even see this in my first video [6:54] where a YouTube Studio passive income [6:56] and YouTube automation are really high [6:58] traffic Search terms with my audience [6:59] and on YouTube in general which as you [7:01] can see correlates to this really really [7:03] high view count on my first video [7:04] obviously when you're first starting out [7:06] you won't really have an audience so [7:08] YouTube Studio won't be able to tell you [7:09] what Search terms your audience is [7:11] interested in however as this tool also [7:13] allows you to search for General Trends [7:14] on YouTube it's still so useful for any [7:17] Creator method number three is using AI [7:19] but I don't just mean asking chat GPT [7:21] for ideas because chat gbt Believe It or [7:24] Not doesn't know everything and when it [7:25] comes to YouTube I found it's really not [7:27] good at coming up with Banger video [7:29] ideas this is because chat GPT doesn't [7:31] have access to the internet or YouTube's [7:33] data but there's a tool that actually [7:34] I've been using throughout my entire [7:36] YouTube Journey that does have access to [7:38] all of YouTube's data I'm talking about [7:39] that IQ who also sponsored this video [7:41] then iq's boost plan which you can get [7:43] for a dollar using my link in the [7:45] description comes with a gpt4 powered AI [7:47] chat bot trained on YouTube's data as [7:49] well as your own channels data that I [7:51] found to be super useful when coming up [7:53] with viral video Concepts in fact these [7:55] high performing videos on my channel [7:57] were literally suggested to me by the AI [7:59] before I [8:00] to make that IQ boost also gives you 50 [8:02] personalized video ideas every single [8:04] day that once again I've also used on my [8:07] channel and like I said if you use my [8:08] special link in the description you can [8:09] even get your first month of vid IQ [8:11] boost for only a dollar so go check it [8:13] out method number four is using other [8:14] people for an educational Channel like [8:16] mine my comment section is literally an [8:18] infinite supply of video ideas ever [8:20] since my first video I've gotten [8:21] comments asking me to make content about [8:23] how I edit my YouTube videos and when I [8:25] finally caved and made a video about [8:27] editing it popped like crazy this [8:29] doesn't just apply to educational [8:30] channels either but when looking to come [8:32] up with original Concepts family and [8:34] friends are great sources to ask people [8:36] you know that watch content similar to [8:37] yours or even just watch a lot of [8:39] YouTube in general are gonna be your [8:40] best subjects especially if these people [8:42] have tried or are currently doing [8:43] YouTube and know a bit about how the [8:45] platform Works obviously most of your [8:47] family and friends even if they have [8:49] tried YouTube before aren't going to be [8:51] the most informed so take their opinions [8:53] with a grain of salt but it doesn't hurt [8:55] to really just you know keep them there [8:56] for consideration in addition to [8:58] non-youtube experts I recently tried [8:59] hiring idea man Alpha Fiverr for my [9:02] video on automating a fresh YouTube [9:03] channel using Fiverr and it ended up [9:05] actually being a really good purchase I [9:06] paid her 10 and she managed to do [9:08] research for me and come up with 10 [9:10] different video Concepts in a niche that [9:12] she also found that were bound to get [9:14] views with really low competition could [9:16] I have done this myself probably but ten [9:18] dollars really isn't that much and she [9:20] probably came up with some stuff that I [9:21] would have overlooked had I been trying [9:23] to find some viral Concepts in the men's [9:24] gadgets Niche which the channel is based [9:27] around so I felt like it was a good [9:28] investment in general with any and all [9:30] Concepts that you come up with put [9:31] yourself in the shoes of your target [9:33] audience and really ask yourself if [9:35] they'll enjoy each video then once [9:36] you've figured that out go through each [9:38] of your remaining Concepts and think of [9:40] an idea for a thumbnail and title that [9:42] associated with the concept because some [9:44] video ideas you have may be entertaining [9:46] or educational or whatever but won't [9:48] perform well if you can't package them [9:50] in a way that's appealing to your [9:51] audience in regards to a video's title a [9:53] good video title does a few things first [9:55] off it makes sense and describes the [9:57] video well in the context of your [9:58] video's thumbnail but that's pretty [10:00] obvious packaging your video meaning [10:01] your video's title and thumbnail combo [10:03] is really all about keeping it simple [10:05] and digestible for your viewers keep [10:07] your titles under 40 characters if [10:08] possible and if you really can't keep it [10:10] under 40 characters just make sure that [10:12] it at least completely shows up on the [10:14] YouTube homepage and doesn't overflow [10:16] like this you want your titles to be as [10:18] readable as possible and to test this [10:19] you can always just inspect element the [10:21] YouTube homepage in your browser of [10:22] choice or use a thumbnail preview tool [10:25] like would you dot click which I [10:26] personally once again Simplicity is key [10:29] so cut out the fluff and leave [10:31] unnecessary things like for example your [10:33] channel name or something like must [10:34] watch not clickbait out of your video [10:37] titles remember that even after you post [10:39] your video you can still change its [10:40] title so don't stress if you're stuck [10:42] between a few for a certain video now [10:44] that you've got a bunch of titles though [10:45] like I mentioned earlier you're gonna [10:46] need some really good thumbnails to go [10:48] along with them because a good title is [10:50] nothing without a thumbnail to provide [10:52] context and vice versa so if you want to [10:54] learn how to do that go watch my video [10:56] on making clickable YouTube thumbnails [10:57] next and if you're wanting to blow up [10:59] your channel really fast like I did with [11:00] mine then
