## Summary

In this video, Eric Boss of New Rockstars analyzes the authenticity of alleged Avengers: Doomsday leaks, including AI-generated recreations and a purported Ghost Rider clip. He provides a guide to distinguishing real from fake content and shares three visual details he uses to assess leaks.

### Key Points

- **Purpose of the Video** [00:04] — Eric aims to help viewers sift between real and fake Avengers: Doomsday leaks, especially AI recreations of the CinemaCon trailer.
- **AI Recreations of Leaked Footage** [00:44] — AI tools have been used to clean up and refine alleged leaked footage, often repurposing character depictions from previous teasers and promotional imagery.
- **Ghost Rider Clip Leak** [02:29] — A heavily pixelated clip with an ILM watermark showed Ghost Rider blazing past; aggregators claimed Ryan Gosling was confirmed, but Eric notes the source is an interview where Gosling only says 'discussions have been had.'
- **AI Rumor Mill** [03:59] — In the absence of official info, AI rumors snowball, with imitators milking them for engagement. Eric believes there's no context for Ghost Rider except possibly a Battleworld sequence.
- **Battleworld Theory** [04:27] — Eric theorizes that the ending of Doomsday may involve the creation of Battleworld, a massive spectacle that could include shots like Ghost Rider.
- **Detail 1: Doctor Doom's Mask** [07:37] — In the leaked footage, Doom's mask has wider eye holes (removed inner eyelid layer) compared to promotional art, allowing more light to reach Robert Downey Jr.'s face.
- **Detail 2: Set Details** [09:50] — The leaked VFX footage includes severed Sentinel heads and specific statues/satellite dishes seen in aerial drone footage of the X-Mansion set, confirming authenticity.
- **Detail 3: Two Mjolnirs** [10:44] — An AI-generated image showed a second Mjolnir behind Steve Rogers; Eric theorizes Steve may still have the Mjolnir from Endgame, leading to two Mjolnirs in Doomsday.

### Conclusion

Eric provides a framework for evaluating Doomsday leaks, emphasizing that AI recreations often contain hallucinated details, but some elements (like set pieces) may be real. He encourages viewers to use critical thinking and his three visual details to assess authenticity.

## Transcript

Actually, hmm. I'm Eric Boss of the New Rockstars channel, and we need to sort out what is real and what's fake when it comes to Avengers: Doomsday. From rumors of a leaked VFX sequence to the indiscernible
AI recreations of descriptions of the CinemaCon trailer from me and others, I really just wanted to make this video to give you a guide on how to sift between what is real and what's fake as we wait for this trailer to eventually drop on
Especially since a lot of the stuff that's been rumored to leak is stuff Before we get into this, yes, we have a lot of cool Doomsday inspired merch designs available exclusively on our merch store nerdriot.shop. Grabbing one
what we're doing here at New Rockstars. Please and thank you. Okay, a few weeks ago there was the footage that seemed to be an Avengers: Doomsday leak from the VFX team at Industrial Light & Magic that I didn't show, but I summarized and
investigated the authenticity of in this video. Since then, there have been several recreations of that footage that have clearly just been cleaned up and refined with AI tools. Much of what these AI recreations have come up with
character depictions that are really just repurposed from their appearances that we all saw in the four teasers that we saw in December and January, also from other promotional imagery from their past films, from leaked wardrobe
descriptions of the Doomsday CinemaCon footage, including our videos here on New Rockstars. At this point, every time you see an AI rendering of this footage, that footage will soon after be re-entered into SeeDancer or whatever
other AI video generator they're using with just little adjustments of text prompts and other reference images to just further refine what's out there. you end up having to use your human brain to apply some reverse thinking,
some contact tracing to figure out how they got to where they are now at. And and unless you saw some of this stuff yourself, you're not really going to images. But the common thing that you were seeing in a lot of these images is
this shit's too clean. It's too polished. But also, it's under baked in other areas that is quite hilarious. Like Mystique's boot in the background of this AI-generated group shot, which looks like an AI prompt written by Rob
Liefeld. Like Todd, under rendered a feet. Also, tell me why Kevin Feige no one really wants or invite me to the Deadpool and Wolverine after party of you. And this week, it happened again. A 1 to 2 second snippet that
seemed to show Ghost Rider blazing past the camera in a heavily pixelated clip that, hey, what do you know, has that same cropped ILM watermark on it. We're not going to show the original version of it, but here is a silly AI recreation
of it that we found online that seems to show Ghost Rider on a gnarly hellish landscape in a sky filled with planets that kind of looks like a '90s Trapper way you can even tell it's Ghost Rider in the source footage are just the skull
holes and the flashes bright fire that also spells out from the wheels of the motorcycle itself. Aggregators on social media then jumped on this to say that Ryan Gosling was confirmed as Ghost Rider in Avengers: Doomsday. When really
is his interview with Joshua Horowitz on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. finally formally announce that you're Ghost Rider? Ryan, what's You know I tried to make this happen for you. I've done everything in my power. What
>> It's my fault? >> It might be. >> We keep hope alive. >> Have you broken bread with Kevin Feige that discussion? >> Discussions have been had.
>> situation. >> Why Can you just tell me Eva must hold Rider and you haven't. This must be a very sore point at home. I don't want to it. >> That's sweet. Why Why is Why was Ghost
that character the one that you've mentioned to me and others in the past? >> Just >> You just want to set your face on fire >> So, I personally do not see this as confirmation of anything other than when
the AI rumor mill starts running with one thing in the absence of official filmmakers, that one thing is going to snowball into more imitators trying to milk those rumors for more engagement. But also, from what I know to be true
about Avengers: Doomsday, there's really no context or setting where a moment into the story the Russo brothers are telling. Except for one possible huge sequence. Yeah, I'm talking about the possible ending of the movie that I have
theorized about in a number of videos. The creation of Battleworld. The Battleworld is something Kevin Feige and the filmmakers indicated would be revealed the trailer at CinemaCon.
it's way down the line and you can't give too much away, but how do these two >> Well, I think people [clears throat] familiar with the with the comic stories see that they that they will relate, but they I will say this, they relate in a
very different way than Infinity War and Endgame. I think people are expecting a Endgame. I think people are expecting a similar a similar uh connection and and the other, uh it it's in a very different way and I
will say that Secret Wars is as ambitious a project as we've ever they adapt it the way I'm thinking they might, could end up being one of the craziest, most dazzling, and most haunting spectacles we ever would have
the Russo brothers aren't that afraid of movie and why they're not afraid going head-to-head against Dune 3. And yes, a shot of Ghost Rider blazing across a surreal landscape could be part of that
sequence. But I will also say that it would be one of many insane shots and sequence that I would be surprised also didn't leak if this leaked. And before actually just divided and conquered parts of this Battleworld sequence to
film, no, no, no. A sequence like that is more likely to be animated by just one big VFX vendor like ILM is. So, what I'm saying here is it's just a little Ghost Rider would leak from a sequence like that and not something else as well
assembled Spider-Man variants or any of in the concept art like that new Black Panther or the Hulk Village. Now, again, I'm not confirming any of those vignettes will be in Avengers: Doomsday
or if any sequence like this at because I truly have no idea. And by the way, no one in the media or influencer space knows either. Thanks to BetterHelp weather is hot, everybody has a shorter fuse than normal. Being patient is hard

that I am using to determine the authenticity of whatever I'm looking at sure you all have your own gauges that might even be more sophisticated than mine, but here's what I use. Detail number one, Doctor Doom's
mask. When I first saw the rumored leaked ILM footage from June, the very heavily pixelated original version, the detail that I based my assessment on was the eye holes of Doctor Doom's mask. And all of the promotional art that's been
publicly released for Avengers Doomsday that shows Doctor Doom, which so far is shows Doctor Doom with his arms folded, that has been in a lot of printed I suspect was created by Ryan Meinerding, the artist who's the head of
whatever's left of it. Ryan is the artist whose artwork the studio has used we see here is very much his style. But anyway, in this art, Doctor Doom's mask appears to have very narrow eye holes. Eye holes that from a distance cast
shadows on whatever eyes are behind that mask. A lot of the other prop masks, like the one that they gave to Robert Downey Jr. at San Diego Comic-Con 2024, have narrow eye holes as well to conceal the identity. And if you look closely at
this prop, notice how underneath the riveted eyebrow layer, there is another metallic inner eyelid layer that makes the overall opening narrower and more rectangular in shape. Got it? Okay, well, in the CinemaCon trailer that I
saw and in the heavily pixelated rumored leaked ILM footage that again, we can only really show you the AI slop recreations of, those eye holes are noticeably wider. They removed that inner eyelid layer resulting in the
overall eye shape to be defined by the outer riveted brow layer, which A, makes Doctor Doom look angrier and emotive, and B, something that would only be more important on an actual movie set, it allows more light to reach the human
face underneath. I only noticed this in the second of the two times I was able Vegas. I saw that and I thought, "Huh, a lot of the light of Thor's lightning is got back to my hotel room, I went back to look at the Doom mask as designed by
Ryan Meinerding in that promotional art and I realized, oh, the prop in the actual movie removes that inner layer so that we can see more of Downey's face going to want to get the most out of the $100 million they paid this actor to put
first detail. The second detail I can't really show you in this video, but it of the rumored VFX leak, the severed heads of Sentinels and the specific statues and satellite dish towers that line the background of this exterior
location. It seems to be the aftermath of Cyclops' battle with the Sentinels that we see in the third teaser. We only know those statues, satellite dishes, because they were seen in aerial drone footage of the set in images that we
them up. They're out there and I believe they're real. Actually, a theory I've dish towers in the garden of the X-Mansion could be an antennae for the Cerebro underneath the mansion to connect to other mutants, a signal that
can now extend to all three of the worlds that are now in close proximity due to the three-way incursion, and Reed Richards and Herbie are here in the expansion of Earth-10005 to get to Cerebro to find Franklin Richards. And
then on to detail number three, the two Mjolnirs. When this AI-generated image dismiss it. Yes, this is a scene that I described in my Cinema Con Doomsday Trailer Description Videos, but no, that facial slop is not how Chris Evans
looks. It's not how he looks anywhere in reality. And we do not see Earth outside the window in the actual trailer, but rather just a bright red-tinted sun. The sunlight is always red-tinted outside the windows in every shot of the
what I thought was a hallucinatory second Mjolnir on the floor behind Steve. I laughed at this. I said, "Ha ha ha. Why would there be a second Mjolnir? What idiot made this?" But, then I thought about it and I realized, well,
there might actually be two Mjolnirs in this movie. Remember, in Avengers: Endgame, Steve Rogers went back in time with a Mjolnir in his hand. This was the Mjolnir that Thor took during the time heist from Asgard in the year 2013.
events of Thor: Ragnarok, this is the Mjolnir that Fat Thor took back to the Endgame to fight Thanos. The same moment. Now, I think the intention at the end of Endgame was to return Mjolnir
back to Asgard at that point in the time stream. But, maybe in Doomsday we will learn about some TVA logic where it was actually okay for Steve to not return having Mjolnir would have expedited the events of Ragnarok, and Ragnarok would
qualify as a TVA apocalyptic event from which variants like Sylvie could get changes, and covering their trace because the whole setting was wiped out in some apocalyptic event. Actually, in an upcoming episode of Road to Doomsday,
Jessica and I discuss how for Thor, Ragnarok and Doomsday are effectively synonyms. And there are a lot of lessons that Thor is going to apply from that Just don't be surprised if we hear a character quote some TVA techno jargon
is a complicated way of saying Steve might still have that Mjolnir. Keeping created by staying in the past. And then, of course, the Mjolnir that Thor original Mjolnir that was broken by Hela in Ragnarok that was then reassembled
for Jane Foster and remains reassembled as of the end of Thor: Love and Thunder when Thor is now united with Mistress Love as an adopted daughter figure, start of Doomsday according to the second teaser. To be honest with you,
viewer, I do not remember if there is a second Mjolnir in the CinemaCon Doomsday trailer in this shot behind Steve. I was not looking at that part of the screen. But, details like that that seem to be too intentional to be hallucinated by
whatever AI video generator are the kind of things that I clock when I do this contact tracing of how clearly AI generated Doomsday images got to look the way they now do, and what links in that chain of refinement were informed
by people with actual knowledge or by fans who just watched my videos. Anyway, helps you make sense of what's real and what's fake AI and what's AI that's based on something that might be real. MARVEL JUST DROPPED THE TRAILER ALREADY.
