YouTube just released a massive upgrade that makes it easier than number four for you to be able to go viral on YouTube So long as you implement the four changes I'm going to share with you in this video in fact these changes help this creator go viral this creator go viral And this creator and all you have to do is make these four changes and boom
It's going to skyrocket your odds of going viral too Change number one that you need to make sure that you're making is you need to begin to optimize your content for Viewers that don't have the sound on because the reality on YouTube right now is not everybody that's on YouTube shorts
Has their sound on in fact more than 50% of people don't so if your content is an optimized for people that are viewing content without the sound on Guess what you're actually missing out on 50% of the views that you could be getting because these people are just going to swipe away from your content
As a result and here are the three things that you need to make sure that you're optimizing the first thing you want to optimize is you want to add Many visual hooks in text all throughout your content most people just do this in the beginning of the videos
But you need to make sure that you're doing this every five to 10 seconds and in the beginning of your video The second thing you want to do is add micro progression bars or arrows to keep visual momentum One of the easiest ways to do this is just add in simple graphics that help viewers know where they are in the video

I'm going to click on generate and this takes like less than 15 seconds
And then this actually makes them for you Then just like that we have our subtitles here And we can also see that we have all the text here that's going to be showing up Now we could go through all these different styles right here Personally, I like this one the most and if we come over here
We could change how big it is how small it is And we could change how many words actually show up each time and we could see And we could very easily go through subtitles right here Very quickly if we come into text And we can make sure that there are no spelling mistakes or anything like that
Which I don't really find that often with this tool right here And then if we wanted to get rid of everything in the beginning here We could literally just come over here and we could get rid of all these And you could literally use this to edit your content
Now as we could see right here you could come over here You could change the font size, you could change the colors, you could change the text You could change everything about this and if we click on advanced styles right here You could even get even way more specific if you wanted to create your own style

Stale and you're always actually serving your audience Now the third thing you need to make sure that you're doing If you want to go viral is you need to make sure that you're actually hitting the right metrics And these have recently changed So you need to start focusing on these brand new updated metrics
And in order to actually prove to you that these are the right settings We're going to go through my three latest viral YouTube shorts To prove to you exactly how this works So the first setting that you need to make sure is good Is if we scroll down this state to watch
You need this number to be greater than 75% If it is not greater than 75% You aren't going to go viral and this means one of two things Either one, you didn't do the first thing that I shared with you in this video
Or two, the topic that you chose to create content on Just isn't something that your ideal audience actually wants to watch We could see on this video it's almost 78% We could see on this video it is over 90%
And we could see on this video over here That it is over 90% also So the how high it is doesn't really matter It just needs to be over 75% And then the second thing that you need to make sure is true It's going to be your average view duration
If your video is less than 30 seconds long Your average view duration this number right here needs to be greater Than the length of your video this video right here If your video is greater than 30 seconds long It only needs to be about 80%
So if we look at this one right here 34 seconds And we look at the video length that's 41 So this is going to be 82% So this is perfect That's why this video is viral Now we come over to this video right here Which is going to be a little bit different
This video is 49 seconds We got 43 Again if we come over to the calculator 43 divided by 49 87% Again why this video won viral And then if we come over to this video right here
This video is a little bit different It's the only one that I've uploaded That's gone viral recently That is less than 30 seconds long And if we look at the average view duration It's longer than the video length itself Which is exactly why This video won viral
And if you want to go viral yourself You need to make sure That you're only focusing on these two metrics And the things that actually control these two metrics Because everything else you can focus on your YouTube Is a wasted time
If you don't get those right Then change number four is probably the most important thing You need to make sure that you have the right settings Every single time that you go to post something on YouTube Because if your settings are messed up It could be the category It could be the metadata
It could be the tags It could even be your hashtags Guess what's going on to happening YouTube isn't going to push your content out To the audience that you wanted to get pushed out to And you're going to be upset Because you would literally just waste a perfect video
But putting the wrong settings on it That's why it didn't get the reach that you wanted So here those settings that you need to make sure are enabled And in order to actually show you this What I want to do is come into this video right here That's the most viral of all my recent videos
With almost 2.3 million views In fact if we look at the analytics here We could see that this video gets almost 15,000 views every single day And here's why If we come over into the details The first thing that you're going to notice
Is that if we scroll down right here We have a related video added here You need to make sure you have a related video On every single YouTube short that you output That related video needs to do one of two things Either one, it needs to point people to a pitch video
Which is what this is doing right here To sell my consulting and coaching services Or you need to get a link to something else That this viewer might want to watch For example This video here is about YouTube settings at ruined small channels
So maybe I might want to point them to something That tells them if they're shadowpint Or tells them how to get more subscribers or something like that And you'd be able to do that with this related video It's incredibly important Because the easiest viewer for you to get Or the easiest view for you to get
Is a view from somebody that's early watching your channel Because you know they're interested in your niche But that was just the first setting The second setting you need to make sure is correct If we scroll all the way down And then scroll up a little bit This category right here needs to be correct
If you click into this You need to make sure you have the correct category Because if not YouTube is going to be classifying your content the wrong way And potentially showing your content to the wrong people Which would be a huge mistake Now if we scroll up a little bit
The other thing that you need to make sure that you're doing Is you have allow embedding on You have shorts remixing You have allow right here And if you scroll up a little bit You want to make sure that the same keyword Shows in your tags
Shows in your description And also shows in your title So we could see right here That my main keyword here is going to be YouTube setting We have YouTube setting in the title We have YouTube setting in the description one time And then we have YouTube setting
In the same sentence In the next one And then if we scroll down to the tags right here It shows more than five times And all those things combined to get YouTube To show this content to the right people And I did the rest of the three things
