[00:00] While everyone is using AI to code websites, there's a huge opportunity in the mobile app space. People are making crazy amounts of money by building custom mobile apps with the help of AI. But most people don't realize just how fast you can do this. [00:14] In fact, it has never been easier to take your idea, build it into a custom mobile app, and get it on the app store. And we're going to use AI to do all of it for us. Alright, so the first thing we need to do is choose which AI builder are we going to use to build our mobile apps. [00:29] and I'm definitely agreeing with RORC. And the reason is simple. Everything inside of RORC is built in Swift, right? So they have this feature called RORC Max, which builds everything in Swift. This is the native programming language on the entire Apple ecosystem. [00:41] So I would say like RORC Max is by far the easiest way to build mobile apps and it's not even close. You can build any type of app, financial tracker, habit tracker with multiple widgets, with permissions, live activities for Apple Watch, [00:54] for iPhone, for iPad, and all of that from a single platform. So yeah, Roark is something I've been using to build mobile apps since the last year. I even talked to the founder, and I even asked them to sponsor this video, which they agreed. So go to Roark.com or just click the link below the video. [01:09] Now, make sure to enable Roark Max. This is huge, because this allows you to build in Swift. Oh, and by the way, you can try Roark Max for free. Everyone gets three, five uses of Roark Max. So you can, whatever idea you have, you can just try it. [01:22] Try building it and see like, wow, building with Roark is actually easy, and then upgrade to a great one. So boom, I'm gonna paste in my first prompt and I'm gonna start it. So this is basically a 3D app that allows you to pin where you traveled, right? [01:34] So let me scroll up to show you my prompt. Google's native iOS travel app called Around. The main screen is an interactive 3D globe that the user can rotate by dragging and pinch to zoom in and out. So this isn't some simple calorie tracking app. [01:46] This is actually a 3D app that's gonna ask for permissions for locations and gonna have a photo upload and a bunch of other features. And we're gonna try to watch for that with RORC Max. Now as you can see this is the layout, on the left we have the AI assistant, the agent, [02:00] and on the right we have a preview with a full emulator running inside the browser. So I didn't have to install anything. Roark has figured out how to do an iOS emulator in the browser. It's pretty insane if you ask me. [02:12] Anyways, here at the bottom you can see how Roark Max is working, it's already running, and it already proposed the plan for this, since it's been approved up. Boom, there it is. RORC proposed 10 different steps, so it broke down this app idea into 10 steps, and now we're going to get started on that. [02:28] Now, actually, while the first app is running, I'm going to upgrade because I want to have selection over which model we're using. Because RORC also supports Open 4.6, the best model from Metropic, so if you upgrade even to the RORC Pro plan, you can select the models. [02:42] So I going to do that right now and in fact I going to go for RORC Max because I want more usage If I click here I should be able to select yes there we go I should be able to select any models and in fact you can even do GPT 5 high [02:54] which some people prefer over Opus actually, I prefer Opus so I'm gonna select Opus 4.6 so you can check the progress here. In this one we have the architecture so let's approve it on the first app, boom, I trust the model so you don't have to try hard not too much and many people are building [03:10] link multiple apps because with Roark it's so easy to build something, deploy it on the app store and see if it gets traction. So really we live in a completely new paradigm. Most people still haven't realized just how easy it is to build mobile apps. People kind [03:25] of understand that okay AI can one-shot web apps but they have this irrational fear of mobile apps. That's because they haven't tried Roark Max. As you can see there's an update available. Roark is shipping updates like crazy. I wouldn't be surprised if they're using Roark [03:37] to build the org. I say generated the app, let's look at this. This is the map. So we wrapped around the sphere. Doesn't really make sense to see the 3D globe. I'm low key kind of addicted to building 3D apps. [03:50] Okay, here we have the logo. And again, this generates the logo by itself, the icon. If you wanna have more control over that, you can do that again by clicking on the name of the project and doing that here or uploading your own logo [04:02] if you already have one. Let's see the steps. All right, here we're almost finished. 10 out of 11. And by the way, on the right side, you can switch from preview to code, if you actually wanna see the code itself. And go through it, you absolutely can. [04:16] You can also see the analytics. I'm not sure we're gonna have any analytics here. And look how nice this is. All this is running in the web browser, this is crazy. I didn't have to install anything. It all has figured out all of this. [04:28] How to run the emulator in the browser, how to switch from iPhone to iPad. Yeah, this is crazy, this is amazing. So obviously we're gonna test it on our device in a bit. But once your app is deployed, [04:40] you can check the amount of users here. Daily active users, weekly active users, monthly active users. You can do nearly everything you need from within Roark. Not only like measure the activity of the users, [04:53] but like build the app, test the app, and see the full code in case you ever need it. Yeah, it's crazy. I think Roark is going into the direction where you can run your whole mobile app business from within Roark. [05:06] like seeing real-time user metrics in the past you had to do that yourself you had to implement some telemetry some tracking it definitely wasn't possible from your coding file from your IDE [05:18] or your coding agent but yeah I mean it's clear that the founders have a lot of mobile app experience like they've built many successful apps in fact I had the founder on my podcast last year and it very clear that work is built by people who know what they doing Okay so sometimes the simulator fails in which case just click this one button fix and the work will fix it [05:41] Okay, there we go, around the world. But around travel is starting up. Here we go. So here we have the 3D globe and it's actually working nicely. I can rotate it. Including all the cities, that's nice. [05:55] It's actually a globe. Okay, let's add a new stamp. Let's just drop a random pin in Australia. There we go. Confirm. [06:08] We can add some photos. Add photos. Okay, obviously in this emulator. Let's say we have this photo. From Australia, whatever. Let's just assume this is Australia. Hopefully there is no GeoGuessrPro here. [06:22] GeoGuessrPro watching this. Okay, then we can do some notes. I'm going to do Australia. 2025, select the date, a nice very clean date selector. Save. And you can see it updated [06:41] in the top right, we have the country and we have the pin here, let's check the journal. Nice, we have the journal. Yeah so this app actually works. Obviously I could play around with it and make the globe brighter and add a bunch of other features but this is a very [06:56] solid MVP as it is. Okay, so let's try running this on the phone. So in the top right you can see run on your device. Click that. It's gonna download a Roark companion app which lets us connect the phone to Roark in the web browser. Okay, [07:13] open. Okay, so then in the Roark companion app you need to log in. If it doesn't work on the first try, keep trying. This is still pretty new part of Roark so it's bit buggy but eventually you will log in. Now we need to sign in with the Apple account so let's do that. [07:28] Next we need to connect the device to the USB so I'm connecting my iPhone here. Okay there we go. Amazing so everything is set I'm gonna click openroad.com. [07:40] Well actually I should probably... okay I can play it here, Lockin is the name on my phone so let me actually start screen recording. So I'm recording on my phone I'm gonna click play here. Okay, so we have the Around Travel app, let's click on that. [07:57] I'm just a developer. Okay, let's go to General. Then VPN and Device Management, find that. There it is, towards the bottom. I'm going to click Trust, then click Allow. [08:10] I'm going to click Around Travel, Around the World. Okay, there it is. It's on my phone, guys. Look at this. Beautiful. I can turn it around. Let try to clock some country a little of Russia Okay so I added one photo this is obviously not China this is from Norway but whatever Next I gonna do China [08:31] 2024 you can test this selector very clean, I like this, I like it a lot. This is the benefit of all swiss you know. Testing, space stamps, there we are. Okay, journal [08:47] Yeah, here it is. It zooms you in. Okay, some of the movements could be smoother. Man, this is not bad at all and it's running on my phone as a standalone app. [09:00] Imagine how hard that would be without the org. Like, I know this because when I was 15, way before LLM, I spent 10 months building a mobile app. Took me 10 months from the idea [09:14] until it was on Android. I didn't have an iPhone back then. But yeah, this is insane. It's absolutely incredible how much easier it is to build and deploy mobile apps. Yeah, if you have an idea, [09:26] you're literally a couple hours away from having it, building it, testing it on your phone, and then deploying it on the app store, which there is a button in the top right if you click on publish, and click on new submission, [09:40] fill out the details of the app, connect the app to the developer account, You know, that's perfect nine bucks a year and then submit the app for approval It takes a couple of days for Apple to review it Make sure there's no malware or something else and you can get it on the App Store [09:54] Obviously Roark tries to make these steps as simple as possible But it's just any broker say that's because of Apple and not Roark. Roark has really revolutionized the The building of mobile apps. They made it a hundred times simpler and easier than it was before [10:09] And that's why I partnered with them on this video. So again, if you want to try Roark, go below the video, click the first link, or just go to roark.com, spelled R-O-R-K dot com, and make sure to use Roark Max, okay? [10:22] Make sure to toggle this on, that way all of your apps are built in Swift, so they're native to the Apple ecosystem. Now, if you're serious about AI coding and you want to actually master it, then make sure to join the new society. We just dropped an entirely new training that's going to take you from a complete beginner [10:37] the way to fully, let's say, to mastering AI coding in a matter of three weeks. I don't care if you've never used coding tools before, I don't care if you've never used an IDE, Cloud Code, none of that. In these three weeks, you're going to go from a total beginner to [10:51] mastering AI coding and I'm confident in that. So, make sure to join the society if you're serious about AI coding because I'm highly confident that this is the single best way to learn and master building with AI. And by the end of these three weeks, you will [11:05] be able to build absolutely anything you want with AI coding tools. And as always, it's going to be linked below the video.
