my name is nathan i'm a designer entrepreneur founder startup person and welcome to my youtube channel i think people are going to come to this channel they're going to be like i have no idea what this is about [Music] all the advice on youtube says you should focus your channel i didn't and that's why i don't have any subscribers i live on a farm in boise idaho with 30 chickens 12 ducks 10 goats three kids two pigs and one wife i do all my work in this office which is a tiny house that i built from scratch [Music] the countertops in i just wired up something electrical i'll show you that in a second for those of you who don't know i run an email marketing company called convertkit we've got a team of about 60 people spread all around the world so i like to share a lot of tips and lessons that i've learned from growing a software company we're sitting at 20 million a year in revenue so i've learned a lot from that outside of work i love to play soccer i love to build things around the farm i love design and i really love to travel [Music] i just dropped the sunglasses are we good got him we're off to go find our first boat [Music] this is a place where you can listen to what i'm doing see what i'm up to and uh take my advice on everything except youtube because i don't know anything about that
