[0:00] so Demon Slayer season 4 or the hash [0:02] training Arc is over we know where it [0:04] ends I was exactly right in my [0:06] prediction that I made a few days ago [0:08] exactly what chapter it would end [0:10] exactly the scene it would end and now [0:12] I'm going to try to predict how they're [0:14] going to split the movies apart so [0:15] spoiler warning I'm going to spoil not [0:18] exactly everything I'm going to spoil [0:20] some like what fights are going to take [0:22] place what the order of those fights may [0:25] be and just some general details like [0:28] that uh if you want to go in completely [0:30] blind to these movies then uh fair [0:32] warning I will be giving up a few [0:34] details but if you already know the [0:36] story and you just want to kind of enter [0:38] this discussion on what chapters will be [0:40] covered in which movies out of the three [0:42] Trilogy that we know we're getting now [0:45] uh then this videoos for you so I have [0:48] mentioned before that I think the idea [0:50] of a Trilogy is fine and I think it [0:52] works except for there's one big problem [0:54] and that is that the first like [0:56] two-thirds of this story really have no [1:00] Middle Point there's a kind of further [1:03] into the story point you could do but [1:05] that would leave the second movie being [1:07] very short so today what I'm going to [1:10] try to do is I'm going to take all the [1:11] fights that are in this [1:13] final Saga here and then I'm going to [1:16] split them up and to put them into each [1:19] movie that will make the story make [1:22] sense cinematically make sense and I [1:25] think we'll just make the best story and [1:28] the best [1:30] thematic experience that we can possibly [1:33] get now obviously uh one big thing is [1:36] that we're going to probably get anime [1:38] original stuff we have already uh some [1:40] of the stuff at the end of the hashira [1:42] training Arc is original uh the stuff to [1:45] where it basically sucked in all of the [1:48] other uh demon Slayers that really [1:50] wasn't in the manga we knew it happened [1:52] but it wasn't there especially to the [1:55] extent that it was uh we get kind of [1:57] this few panels but that's it with this [2:01] we got multiple minutes of seeing this [2:04] uh same thing with muan arriving at the [2:06] ubay yashi Mansion we got multiple [2:08] minutes of him getting there we got some [2:10] extra bits there like I said in my one [2:12] video the explosion that was one panel [2:16] in the manga is a whole sequence and I [2:20] think we're going to get more like that [2:22] as the story progresses we're going to [2:24] go from what was one chapter will now be [2:28] maybe 10 minutes of screen time and I [2:31] think that's warranted and I think some [2:33] fights are going to be much longer much [2:35] more drawn out and not in a bad way I [2:38] think they're going to be put more you [2:39] know effort into them and I think [2:41] they're going to be made even better for [2:45] the TV or now theater experience so [2:49] let's start off with movie one now to me [2:52] to make the movies the most enjoyable [2:55] all the way through we need to have one [2:57] big fight and we need to have one minor [3:00] fight uh if we have two big fights in [3:02] one movie I think they're going to [3:03] overshadow one another we need to have [3:05] one that kind of is a background fight [3:07] and one that is a major fight and I [3:09] think also we're going to add in in each [3:11] movie we're going to kind of give a [3:12] update as to what our other characters [3:14] are doing now can't do that on all of [3:17] them we'll get to that but I think for [3:20] Simplicity sake that makes the most [3:22] sense until we get to that third movie [3:23] that third movie Just changes everything [3:25] so let's start off with talking about [3:26] what fights I think will be covered in [3:28] the first two movies movies so the first [3:31] one of those is zenitsu's fight uh [3:33] zenitsu encounters someone from his past [3:36] and uh we find out more about why he is [3:39] the way he is right now those the [3:41] discovery he found out in the letter we [3:43] discover all of that so the fight with [3:46] him is a major point in his character [3:48] Arc it is pretty much the final Arc of [3:50] him and uh we I think that will be in [3:53] the first movie I think that's going to [3:54] be the minor fight of the first movie [3:56] and I think it will be a very important [3:58] scene and I think this is the fight that [4:00] can be the most added on to I think we [4:03] can get a lot of interesting stuff in [4:05] this fight uh it's probably the shortest [4:09] fight out of the entire uh [4:11] manga Infinity Arc Infinity Castle Arc [4:14] but I think this one we can kind of make [4:16] it a little longer because we're going [4:18] to cut between this fight and the next [4:21] fight which I had to debate do I want [4:25] there's there's the upper Moon two and [4:26] then there's the upper Moon three which [4:28] is aaza [4:30] do I want to put the upper Moon 3 in the [4:33] first movie or put the upper Moon 2 in [4:35] the first movie I think the better idea [4:39] is to put the upper Moon 3 aaza in the [4:43] first movie and by doing that we're [4:45] going to move everything from the upper [4:48] Moon 2 fight to the second movie that [4:50] means we're going to have to rearrange [4:51] some of the chapters because uh shobu [4:54] encounters the upper Moon 2 very early [4:57] on is before pretty much anything it is [4:59] like two chapters into where we are now [5:03] we are currently at chapter 140 uh the [5:05] upper Moon 2 fight starts at like [5:07] chapter 142 so it would be immediately [5:11] the upper Moon 2 fight and I don't think [5:14] that really works because the upper Moon [5:15] 2 fight actually goes on for quite a [5:19] while until chapter 164 and I don't [5:22] think we can put 24 chapters into one [5:26] movie and I think it's it's obvious the [5:28] zenitsu fight is going to have happened [5:29] in the first movie that's just it it [5:31] makes the most sense so we're going to [5:33] have to put that there so there's no way [5:36] we can put the upper Moon 2 and the [5:38] upper Moon 3 in the same movie so by [5:42] doing that I think upper Moon 3 works [5:44] much better in that first movie we get [5:46] arono and guu fight in that movie and [5:50] then we get the uh Kane or cono and U an [5:57] oske fight with the upper Moon 2 in the [5:59] second movie I think that just works you [6:01] know much better I think then we can [6:04] maybe this shobu stuff is the final [6:06] scene of the first movie I think that [6:09] would be a great like Cliffhanger and [6:11] this is where I think we're going to [6:12] have the biggest change from the manga [6:14] to the anime and that we're going to [6:17] have to rearrange stuff we're going to [6:19] have to add some scenes so that we can [6:21] we got a cliffhanger from the higher [6:23] training Arc into the movies now we're [6:26] going to have to have another point to [6:28] where it's like hey guys we're not done [6:30] this was just the first movie time for [6:32] the next movie and I think this is where [6:35] we're going to end the first movie with [6:38] uh we're going to move the scenes with [6:39] shinobu meeting the upper Moon 2 we're [6:42] going to move them from the beginning of [6:45] this Arc we're going to move it to the [6:47] end of the first movie and shinobu will [6:50] walk in she'll have her things and [6:53] spoiler here shinobu is going to be [6:56] killed in the end of the first movie and [6:59] then I think we will have uh cono come [7:02] in and she will be able she will begin [7:05] her fight at the end of the first movie [7:08] leading us into the second movie so then [7:10] we get to the second movie and this is [7:12] the most interesting part of the story [7:14] because pretty much this second movie is [7:17] not going to have Tano in it at all and [7:20] I think that's a very interesting thing [7:22] because pretty much Tano is our main [7:24] character Tano has been our it's your [7:28] bread and butter when you think of [7:29] demons say you're thinking of Tano or [7:31] you're thinking of nezo neither one of [7:33] them are going to be in this movie [7:34] pretty much at all because they just [7:36] aren't in these two fights so what we're [7:39] going to do second movie We're going to [7:41] have the upper Moon 2 and the upper Moon [7:43] one and we're going to have to split it [7:44] up a little bit because it's if we load [7:49] the front end with upper Moon 2 and then [7:52] the last half is the upper Moon one I [7:54] think it will seem a bit kind of hard to [7:57] do that so what I'm thinking is we start [7:59] with upper Moon 2 but then we cut to [8:01] Upper Moon one and we start to have the [8:03] upper Moon one fight we end about the [8:06] upper Moon two or we we the upper Moon [8:09] two fight will end about three4 of the [8:12] way through and then the final like 20 [8:15] minutes is just upper Moon one fight [8:18] because that is the big climactic scene [8:21] of the movie I think it's fine if the [8:23] upper Moon 2 fight ends pretty quickly [8:25] so that way we can get on with the final [8:28] the big fight there now this does mean [8:32] that the second movie will be pretty [8:34] much a blood bath uh and it will be the [8:37] uh deadliest movie of all of them um [8:41] because it does not go well and we get [8:43] obviously like I just said shobu will [8:45] die in the first movie so I think we're [8:47] g to you know it'll cover that again [8:50] kind of like how we're going to cover [8:52] the entrance to the infinity castle like [8:54] the final scene of the hashir training [8:56] Arc will be the first scene of the first [8:59] movie I think we're going to get the [9:01] final scene with shinobu will be the [9:03] first scene of the second movie and I [9:06] think then obviously we got one that's [9:09] already dead with shobu and then we're [9:11] going to have more and more and more [9:13] characters that just start biting the [9:15] dust throughout that and I think this is [9:17] the movie where you're kind of start to [9:20] realize we're not going to get out of [9:22] this without some major character deaths [9:26] so going through the upper Moon one and [9:29] the upper Moon 2 fight we end those and [9:32] so now we have to figure out how we go [9:35] from the second movie to the third movie [9:38] and I think this is the easiest part I [9:40] think this was very obvious to me as to [9:42] where you start that third movie and [9:44] it's pretty much muon reappearing uh [9:47] muon kind of disappears for the first [9:49] like two-thirds of this story um and [9:52] then he reappears and that's whenever we [9:54] kind of get all of this you know what's [9:58] happening and everything and this is [10:00] where I think we are going to end the [10:02] first movie is mus on reappearing and [10:05] then we will just cut there now I think [10:10] there is a few spots you could cut um I [10:12] think the best one is if you just say [10:14] hey all right upper Moon one is dead [10:16] upper Moon 2 is dead but muan still [10:19] there here's muon final movie here we [10:22] go I think you could also end it with [10:25] the infinity Castle being destroyed um [10:28] which would mean the upper moon for is [10:29] is defeated um the upper Moon 4 fight is [10:31] very very brief uh it's pretty much the [10:34] same length as the zenitsu fight um and [10:37] I think uh it it works best as just [10:41] being a first scene of the movie so I [10:47] think you know it or the third movie I [10:49] think that works the best I think as a [10:52] thematic thing it just gives you this [10:54] kind of okay brief fight we're not going [10:57] straight into the mus on fight I don't [10:58] think that really would work so it's [11:00] kind of an opening scene we get the [11:02] upper Moon 4 fight and then that's the [11:04] final upper Moon that is gone uh we get [11:06] that one defeated and then we the [11:08] infinity Castle is completely destroyed [11:10] at that point we are outside and then we [11:13] are pretty much in the sunrise Arc so [11:15] this would mean that the final three [11:16] volumes of the manga are all in this [11:19] final movie and I'm not going to go into [11:22] Major Spoilers here about what happens [11:24] at the very end but obviously you can [11:26] kind of assume that muan is defeated so [11:29] I think all of this is going to happen [11:30] in the final movie but I think the final [11:34] movie is going to have the most anime [11:36] original content especially the epilog [11:39] especially the final stuff because there [11:41] is some questions that have never really [11:44] been answered uh especially with the [11:47] fact that uh it's pretty much we've [11:50] heard it before that if you get the [11:52] Demon Slayer Mark you are going to die [11:54] before a certain age and that plays a [11:56] role in this final uh Arc here but it [11:59] never is explained that if whenever muan [12:03] is defeated if that still Reigns true or [12:06] if that Cur is broken so I think that's [12:09] where we got to really look into it and [12:12] see if they make any changes to clarify [12:16] that or if they change it because right [12:18] now a lot of people assume they still [12:19] will um but I think some people might [12:21] say no uh they that's all gone once M on [12:26] is defeated so I think either way I [12:28] think that needs to be explained and I [12:29] think it will be by an epilog so as for [12:34] like runtime of these I would say first [12:37] movie you're going to look at probably [12:38] right at about two hours I think two [12:40] hours makes the most sense you're going [12:42] to introduce the characters the world [12:44] again um just get the general audience [12:46] if they haven't been here since M Train [12:48] you're going to kind of get them up to [12:49] speed where we're at and then all right [12:52] here we go again we're in the infinity [12:54] Castle do the zenitsu fight do the upper [12:56] Moon three there you go and I think [12:59] think that way putting the upper Moon 3 [13:00] fight in that first movie if you do have [13:03] people that weren't here since mugan [13:04] train they're like I remember that guy I [13:07] don't like that guy we're going to kill [13:08] him and there you go and then they're [13:10] hooked for the next movie so then moving [13:13] on to movie two I think that one you're [13:16] probably talking about an hour and 40 [13:17] minutes I just don't think you could [13:19] make it much longer and my reasoning is [13:22] is because that upper Moon 2 fight is [13:24] probably a little longer than the upper [13:26] Moon one fight yeah the upper Moon one [13:28] fight has got a lot lot of just it it's [13:31] really good it's a really good fight now [13:33] I personally I think the best fight in [13:35] this entire Arc is the upper Moon 2 [13:36] fight that's a separate fact but I think [13:40] that upper Moon one fight has some [13:42] really interesting details it's got some [13:44] really hard hitting moment I think all [13:47] of that is a great point but I still [13:51] think that that whole point there is [13:55] still going to only be probably the [13:58] upper Moon 2 fight is probably going to [14:00] be right at about 40 minutes the upper [14:02] Moon one fight is going to be right at [14:04] probably 40 minutes as well that gives [14:06] you about 20 extra minutes to introduce [14:09] uh muon as well as well as you know [14:12] having the shobou scene from the [14:13] original or from the first movie that [14:15] you're going to put on this one I just [14:17] think that works the best but then that [14:19] gets us on to the final movie and I [14:20] think the final movie is going to be [14:21] like two hours and 20 minutes I think [14:23] it's going to be quite long and I think [14:26] the biggest reason for that is Anime [14:27] original content you're just going to [14:29] have a lot of stuff I think they're [14:31] going to want to add on to the end of [14:33] this story nothing that is unnecessary I [14:36] think it's all going to be necessary [14:37] stuff that probably was not thought of [14:40] for the manga or just stuff that they [14:43] want to clarify from the manga like I [14:45] mentioned before so I think all of that [14:48] will be put into the final movie I think [14:52] it makes most sense there you're going [14:53] to have a lot of like kind of I don't [14:57] want to say grieving [14:59] but like celebration and I think I think [15:02] you need that at the end of that movie [15:04] so I think the [15:06] first hour and a half is going to be the [15:09] fight the Muson fight and then the final [15:13] like 30 to 40 minutes is going to be [15:18] talking about the end of that wrapping [15:20] up nezo wrapping up Tano wrapping up [15:24] everything like that going over the [15:26] characters that have died we're going to [15:29] have to have all of that and then we're [15:31] going to talk about the epilogue I think [15:33] the epilog will be pretty much identical [15:38] to what we see in the manga except I'm [15:41] going to go out on a limb and say that [15:43] we're going to get a narrator for the [15:45] epilog the epilog's got a lot of panels [15:48] that are just [15:49] like this is who this is this is who [15:53] this is this is who this is we can't [15:56] really do that and the way the [15:59] characters are designed in the epilog [16:01] you're going to need a little bit of a [16:04] description because some of them may be [16:06] confused with other characters I was the [16:08] first time I read it so I think you're [16:12] definitely going to have to have a [16:14] narrator to kind of just go over [16:17] everything and I don't know who you make [16:20] the narrator do you make it uh you know [16:22] one person from the past do you make it [16:24] one of these new characters I don't know [16:26] uh this is something that I think we'll [16:27] have to look into as we get closer maybe [16:30] it's something that I'm completely off [16:31] on and we don't need a narrator maybe [16:33] they'll just put little speech bubbles [16:34] or something I don't know but I [16:36] definitely think you need some sort of [16:38] narrator at the finale and I think that [16:40] will really make that movie just so much [16:43] better and that's about it obviously we [16:46] are probably about a year away from this [16:50] first movie I think it will be early [16:52] next year that we get that first movie I [16:54] think the second movie will be fall of [16:56] next year and then I think the third and [16:59] final movie will be summer of 2026 I [17:02] think we're going to get them probably [17:04] about 6 to eight months apart being that [17:07] it's June now I think probably February [17:10] will be the first one then we're going [17:12] to get another one probably around [17:14] October is and then the final one will [17:17] be probably around April so we'll see [17:20] how all that turns out um obviously I [17:23] know that there have been uh people [17:24] saying that Demon Slayer production is [17:26] way ahead of where they need to be so [17:29] they probably could release all three of [17:30] them next year if they wanted to I don't [17:32] think that's in their best interest I [17:34] think their best interest is to do them [17:36] kind of spread out not very far uh you [17:38] can't do them like Star Wars to where [17:39] you do one every like three years or two [17:41] years because people would just lose [17:43] interest they would get bored of it and [17:46] your audience right now you're you've [17:47] got a younger audience so younger [17:50] audiences move on to new things very [17:52] quickly so if you keep them like hey [17:55] remember this from you know a year ago [17:58] here's the next movie here's the next [18:00] movie here's the next movie if you split [18:01] it out over six years you're going to [18:02] lose a lot of your Audience by that [18:04] final movie so you're going to have to [18:05] Bam Bam Bam get them out and I think [18:07] they're going to do that so anyway [18:09] that's pretty much it um what did you [18:11] think do you think uh it will be what I [18:14] said do you think they're going to move [18:15] the fights do you think they're just [18:16] going to split it up we're going to get [18:18] the first half of the upper Moon 2 fight [18:20] in that first movie and then we're going [18:21] to get the second half of it in that [18:23] second movie I just don't see how that's [18:25] going to work that's going to be so much [18:26] content in that first movie and then a [18:28] very [18:29] upper Moon one heavy second movie and I [18:32] just don't think that'll work um do you [18:33] think the upper Moon three fight will be [18:35] in the first movie or the second F or [18:37] movie let me know down below what you [18:39] think I think I think what I laid out is [18:41] the best possible way you can do it but [18:44] like I said I don't know I I was right [18:46] about the hasher training stuff but this [18:48] is a whole another animal um but if we [18:51] get any more information on this um I [18:53] will make another video or I will talk [18:55] about it on my podcast so go ahead and [18:57] like And subscribe and I we'll talk [18:59] about that whenever it comes up we've [19:01] got a lot more stuff coming especially [19:02] Demon Slayer uh we've got a a bunch of [19:05] merch here you can see nezo there so we [19:07] will have more merch and everything like [19:09] that so if you want to like And [19:10] subscribe and to check that out whenever [19:12] it comes out I would greatly appreciate [19:15] that um but anyway until next time bye
