[00:01] only did half your workout? And you did that for 100 days. Would you lose muscle, maintain it, or keep gaining? Well, that's exactly what I did for the last 100 days. Instead of my usual three to four sets, I only did one or two. And [00:14] to see if I'd lose muscle, I got DEXA scans done, and I tested my strength. At enough. Our workouts now only took 45 minutes. But by the halfway point, my recovery was better than ever, and I was loving training. And after 100 days, [00:27] despite doing half my usual volume, my strength actually went up. I set new strength PRs on the pendulum squat and the chest press machine in the final week, and my bench press stayed the same. But my leg extension went up 15 [00:40] lbs. As for my physique, I was cutting, so my DEXA showed that I lost 5.5 lbs of fat mass and 1.8 lbs of lean mass. But from day 30 to day 100, I actually probably within the margin of error, but based on my physique and my overall [00:56] strength trends, I'd say cutting my workouts in half was a massive success.
