- **Example of Poor Thumbnail** [08:07] — The speaker's first video (5 years ago) had 1,900 views due to a poor thumbnail and title. In contrast, a well-optimized episode with a macaw thumbnail got 6 million views.
- **Structuring Videos for Retention** [10:07] — Luisito Comunica structures videos with planning to maintain tension and keep viewers until the end. The law of observation—learning from successful people—is crucial.
- **Spontaneity and Fun** [11:01] — Luisito Comunica emphasizes having fun and being spontaneous. If you see content creation as a job, it won't work. The speaker improved by taking care of lighting, angle, and set.

- **Team Size vs. Quality** [12:24] — Luisito Comunica shows you don't need a huge team or expensive tools. The speaker has a large team (164 employees) but acknowledges different entrepreneur profiles: mountain climber, freedom seeker, craftsman.

### Conclusion

The video concludes that despite content saturation, now is the best time to start a YouTube channel if you focus on reach, optimize thumbnails and titles, maintain frequency, and enjoy the process. Success comes from doing it right, not just doing it.

## Transcript

of the most recognized Spanish-speaking content creators with a channel of 45 million subscribers, gave an interview that I saw that I found very relevant and significant. That's why I wanted to make this
video. And I'll tell you why, because it's one of the questions that students throughout Latin America in the Synergistic Club ask me most often: when is the best time to start a YouTube channel if I'm not too late? And this
lot when I wrote my second book, Attract Attention, Learn to Build the Most Powerful Tool in Business, Your Name. I started creating content on August 2, 2020. Luisito Comunica is one of the pioneers in
YouTube channels and has experienced what I call four eras of content or four stages of content creators. He was born in the first stage of content creation. If you want to create content right now, you
would be in the fifth stage. And the important question here is, am I on time? I'm late? Should I not even try to create a channel? What do I need? How to monetize? In this video, I'm going to share with you my analysis of this
very valuable interview and my particular perspective. The first thing I want you to understand is that there is a metric that must be clearly differentiated from reach and followers. One obsession when you're starting out is
that followers are important, in this case, subscribers. Today, in this era, in the fifth stage of content, Comunical mentions that it has been stagnating at 40 million subscribers in recent years
has 45 million subscribers. He talks about 40 to 50, but he's not that And here I want to highlight something very important that I mention to all my students, which is the concept of not delegating your content, delegating your brand.
Let me share with you that when I started creating content, I understood this same 15,000,000 followers. As you can social networks that are appearing. These 15,000 followers give us a
reach of 400 million. I repeat, 400 million reach. Today the most important metric is reach, because in order for people to buy from me they first have to know me, they first have to see me. But in the early stages, something that really caught my
attention about Luisito Comunica is that he says he focused and became obsessed. He doesn't do that anymore. But this is very important. If you're going to start a content project and create a YouTube channel, it's very important
that you learn how to do it and become obsessed with it . I want to share with you that we started, although it is true that 5 years ago, when we started the first two years, the YouTube channel had no relevance. And I'll tell you
why I'm irrelevant. Because I wasn't in charge of the YouTube channel. We passed it on to five people to work on, agencies that were specialists in growing YouTube channels, and it never grew. The moment
we created a specialized team so that this could grow, that's when worked for me, something that worked for Luisito Comunica. You have to obsess over the content aspect and you have to understand what
I once heard Rodrigo Herrera on the Oso trava de cracks podcast talking about how if you recommend a marketing specialist today, I want you to watch this clip. My suggestion is if you want to be an influencer as a young person,
dedicate yourself to doing that. It's much better to be an influencer. Focus on it professionally, understand how to light things, how to handle the camera, how to speak, because that will give you a secure future. Advertising and communication will become
increasingly prevalent, with larger budgets allocated through social media and influencer marketing. You need to get good at the content creation part, and at first, if you don't like the word
obsession, change it to focus because remember, human beings don't achieve what they want. Human beings achieve what they focus on. Luisito Comunica also explained something understand the future of YouTube. Today more than ever, among so many channels, among so
many content creators, you have to understand very well the frequency, the uploading of videos, the titles, the thumbnails. I want you to observe how we place the thumbnails. Audience retention and niche markets
are key factors for continued growth. And this is the we ask ourselves that question all the time. We have a very successful podcast. It has been the number one business podcast in
Mexico for nearly 3 years. We have a company that we take very seriously, and we put up billboards, do promotion, stickers, everything you see the podcast. But something I've asked my team, and I
confess this, is, is the podcast saturated? There are a lot of podcasts out there today, or is it a good once, he says, "It's an excellent time to continue doing it because it's already a thoroughly validated format." Listen to this, the content goes up and down, that
's normal. That's why frequency is so important . Luisito Comunica says something that I find spectacular. Despite the content saturation, he sees that there is still room for growth. The important thing is not that you keep
doing it, the important thing is how you are doing it. And the most interesting thing might say, "I don't want to do a podcast." No, wait, I want you to see this person, this YouTube channel cooks in a simple,
artisanal way, she does it with her grandchildren and see how she does it and what she monetizes is incredible. There are hardware store channels, there are channels for everything. It is important, and this is something basic. When I interview people on the podcast who tell me, "Hey Jorge,
I've had my channel for 8 or 9 years and I have 70,000 subscribers. Last week wrong?" I tell him, "At first glance, your YouTube channel doesn't have thumbnails, you're not optimizing well, that is, you don't meet five requirements."
Look, family, it's simple, it's not about doing it, it's about doing it right. But the first video is that you're not stuck creating a YouTube channel. Today is a to convey to you that the most important thing about this video is to tell you to take action.
If you have the intuition, the hunch, the desire, if you have a project and you have a business and you have a product, if you have a story, if can tell you that. Through analyzing the metrics, out of 400
million reach, the most important metrics that we take care of and value are the minutes of playback, and it has only been want to convey to you in this YouTube video of this analysis is that the best
time is going to be now. Look, I sometimes say in conferences that I regret not having started in 2018. That's why this interview caught my attention, and I felt the desire to share this video, because I
say that I don't regret many things, but I do regret not having started in 2018, because I think I would have grown more. And this is a lesson that happened to me. Thinking about the past makes no sense,
thinking about the future makes no sense, thinking about the present makes perfect sense. While it's true there are many YouTube channels, the best time to do it, I want to make that clear, is now. One of the things that impressed me the most, what
saw, is the importance of titles and thumbnails. Many people create content with a camera on YouTube, they do all the production, but they don't focus on the thumbnails. I want to tell you that we, I believe that
in these 3 years that we have focused on the YouTube channel, without fear of being wrong, it has grown more in the last year and a half because we created a team specialized in reviewing titles and reviewing thumbnails. Once
use artificial intelligence to ask it and say, "How can I can I improve it? Until you improve it, and then you have a better title and a just about uploading content, it's about uploading content and
doing it well again. For example, I'm a little embarrassed, but I'll show you. And this is thanks to the work we have done. It's been 5 years since the first video we uploaded to YouTube. We were in El Tigre taking a walk, and
we thought that we were going to open and that it was going to have millions of views. And well, it has 1900 views, not bad, 5 years and 15 minutes ago, but I want you to see the thumbnail. Yes. It's not visible. See my face,
see his face, see the title we used, see the WhatsApp emoji. In other words, this is an example of how to make a poorly made thumbnail. See the one that says here, the businesses that don't make money in 2 minutes and 10 seconds. What is it that
I want to convey to you with this? If we hadn't learned to episode you're in here, for example, which is the most viewed episode we have on the channel. 6 million views 4 months ago. The mindset to burn your
bridges and live your passion. by the architect Quintanapali, creator of Scaret Sheljá, of the entire Escaret group, of these hotels. It's Mexican pride for us, it's Disney in Mexico, these parks that I
highly recommend. If you ever come to Mexico, visit Escaret. In fact, there is an iconic phrase from the architect that says that when you go to Escaret, don't forget to visit Cancun. Because? Because Escaret and practically all these parks
episode is very good. Rather than talking about the episode, I want you to see the cover, the face. I want you to see the macaw that represents Escaret. I want you to see how the Escaret group says it. I want you to see at the end what the beach looks like and
how we meticulously take care of each cover, each thumbnail, because we know it's very important. It's no surprise, it's no coincidence that it has 6 million views, which by the way I highly recommend this episode. Okay,
to tell you is very important when you 're building a YouTube channel, something that YouTube hasn't said directly. 95% of the people currently watching this video are not subscribed to this channel, so
subscribe to the channel. Let's continue if that's okay with you. Luo, this interview also talks about how to structure videos to maintain tension and, above that is fundamental, that we have realized, is that people stay
until the end of your video. How is this done? Luisito, in his case, talks structured with planning. He also mentions that you have to be time. But here is a
very important word that I want to share. Uh, I observe a lot. I believe the law of observation is one of the most important laws that millionaires follow. The law of observation is learning to observe what successful people do
you have to keep reading the observation. Why am I making this video? And why am I making this analogy from this interview that I really enjoyed with Luisito Comunica? Well, because Luisito Comunica is an authority with 45
has gone through all stages of content creation. As I was saying, brother records, sometimes someone else records. Something I've noticed is that when this happens, the episodes get more views. In this case, in
are releasing every Saturday, we understood one thing very well: the element of spontaneity. Luisitud tells you that he has a small team so well is that he is spontaneous and has fun. Very
content, you have to be having fun. If you see it as a job, your channel isn't going to work. When you see that you're having fun, that it's spontaneous, that's where the magic of YouTube lies. For example, when I was creating
content and not having fun, I saw it as a job. Watch these videos. I looked angry, I looked tired and in a bad mood. Oh, I have to create content because they tell you to do it with dark circles under your eyes. In other words, no. Today, family, today I take care of my lighting, I take care of
the angle, I take care of the set, I take care of the microphone angle, I generate more skills. If I can share something that has changed my life in terms of content, it is the following. Understanding that content is going and that communication is
When you see things as a tool, you make the decision to do it or not to do it. When you adopt the identity of a content creator, then I am a content creator, right? And I have the adoption, that is, for me it is part
of my daily life, it is when the results come. Something I really liked about somewhat contrary to what I think, is that I find it very interesting themselves. Luisito makes it very clear that you don't need the biggest team or the
most expensive tools to create quality work. I'm betting on mass appeal. content company. We at Synergy Education are 164 employees. Look at the offices
we built and see the whole structure, how we have everything organized. The YouTube team, the Facebook team, the sales team, the commercial team, the distribution team, the advertising team. I've decided to invest in creating
a content company, and I work a lot on reinvestment. However, I know that what I do is not something just anyone can do, and that it has a lot to do with the fact that when you start a business there is a vision, a vision of
growth. Which one is better? There is no better or worse one. It's simply the Marcos says there are three types of entrepreneurs. The first entrepreneur is the mountain climber entrepreneur, the one who likes to
mountain climber. Then we have another type of entrepreneur who is the pursuer of freedom, the one who likes to have time and tranquility. I like freedom, but I identify more with the "let's build" approach. And the
third is the craftsman. It has a lot to do with what kind of profile you have. However, what I following. One of the greatest creators in the world doesn't have a very large team, and look at the results he gets. So, what do you need to measure? It's about what you find yourself with
. But it is important to have a team. But what To have a team or to start from scratch? I believe there are entrepreneurs, merchants, who have already realized that, as my book says, the most
powerful tool in business is your name, and so they make the decision to create their is a big mistake. But they weren't born, they weren't born in any way. I Cabrera, who is a content creator; I consider him a natural content creator
. He has been creating content since he was 8 or 9 years old. Look, I started making my first video when I was 35 years old. See the difference. That's what it means to be born. Yes, to learn. So, clearly identify where you are, clearly identify
your age, and take your position. So if you're new to creating content on YouTube or another platform, the message is very clear and to the point. I believe it, Luisito Comunica mentions it. The key moment is now. The
saturation of content creators is a sign that the audience is you follow these steps. I liked Luisito Comunica's perspective on content creation and how it has remained relevant all this time. If you're going to
learn and want to get serious about YouTube, you'll need to understand steps and fundamentals related to personal branding. That's why so you can see these steps and fundamentals of personal branding. My
sharing is good. Send this video to someone else. See you in the next video, and go watch the next video. Blessings. One plus one.
