# Maintaining health during 10 days on the road

> Source: [Maintaining health during 10 days on the road](https://youtube.com/watch?v=evitcEYx774)

## Summary

The video documents a 10-day trip where the creator maintains health protocols despite travel challenges, visiting Washington DC, GKO Bowworks, and Atlanta. It highlights strategies for sleep, nutrition, and exercise while on the road, including a unique blood experiment with a racing CEO.

### Key Points

- **Travel Health Challenge** [00:01] — The creator returns from a 10-day trip and explains how they handle maintaining health while traveling, emphasizing sleep as a priority.
- **Sleep and Diet Protocols** [00:14] — Key practices include keeping sleep and wake times consistent and stopping eating at least 4 hours before bed.
- **Future of Biology Discussion** [00:14] — Met with Michael Leven to discuss the future of biology, indicating a focus on cutting-edge scientific topics.
- **Autonomous Biology Experiments** [00:28] — Visited GKO Bowworks where robots run biology experiments autonomously, aiming to allow scientists to test more experiments.
- **Meal Prep on the Go** [00:28] — The creator packs meals and coolers while traveling to maintain nutrition protocols.
- **UV Protection and Extreme Stress Experiment** [00:43] — In Atlanta, brought UV protection due to loud track environment. Conducted a world's first experiment with Toby, collecting blood before and after 2.5 hours of racing to show effects of extreme physical stress.
- **Exercise Adaptation** [00:56] — Despite travel, maintained strength and cardio through stretching and dunk training sessions, acknowledging that travel makes following protocols harder.

### Conclusion

The video demonstrates that with planning and flexibility, it's possible to maintain health protocols during travel, though it requires extra effort and adaptation.

body. I just got back from a 10-day trip. Here's how I handle this. First stop, Washington, DC. I spoke to our nation's politicians about why they need to prioritize sleep. And sleep is one of the hardest things to maintain when
and wake times consistent and stop eating at least 4 hours before bed. Michael Leven to talk about the future of biology. Then, we visited GKO Bowworks, where robots are running biology experiments autonomously. The
goal is to allow scientists to test more experiments. I pack my meals and coolers while I travel. Final stop, Atlanta. My friend Toby, the CEO and founder of The track is extremely loud, and we spent hours outside. So, I brought my UV
protection. I was excited to do a world's first experiment with Toby. We collected his blood before and after 2 and 1/2 hours of racing to show how extreme physical stress affects the body. Exercise can be challenging while
strength and cardio. I did stretching, dunk training session. Traveling does make it harder to follow my protocols.
