## Summary

The video is a detailed tutorial on using the OddsJam Fantasy Optimizer to improve profitability on daily fantasy sports (DFS) apps like Prize Picks and Underdog. The creator, who claims to have made nearly $4,000 in 2026, explains how the tool uses market data to identify value bets, and walks through specific examples of building slips. The focus is on using data over intuition to achieve long-term positive expected value.

### Key Points

- **Success with DFS Apps** [00:02] — The creator has made just under $4,000 in 2026 using DFS apps, starting seriously in February and scaling from $10 to $50 bets.
- **Color-Coded Value System** [01:37] — The tool shows profitable picks in green, decent in orange, and likely unprofitable in red, based on comparing DFS lines to sportsbook odds.
- **Minimum Data Points** [02:31] — Set minimum data points to three to ensure multiple sportsbooks agree on the line, increasing confidence in the pick.
- **Optimal Slip Types** [03:12] — Each DFS app has an optimal slip type; for Prize Picks it's a five-man flex play, while a two-man power play is one of the worst due to poor odds.
- **Comparing Lines for Value** [08:06] — Use the optimizer to compare lines across sportsbooks; if a DFS app offers better odds than the market, it's a value pick.
- **Handling Orange Picks** [11:07] — Orange picks can be taken if they still offer better value than sportsbook lines, but green picks are preferred.
- **Rule: No Value, No Bet** [12:40] — Never place a slip without value on each leg; if it's not positive EV, don't bet it.

## Transcript

and so far in 2026, I've made just under $4,000 while playing on daily fantasy sports apps like Prize Picks, Underdog, Better, and DraftKings Pick Six. And in this video, I'm going to walk you through the Odds Jam Fantasy Optimizer
tool. One of the main tools that I use to have success on daily fantasy sports apps. One of the keys to success for being a DFS player is using market data to make your picks. Gone are the days of researching stats to make your picks or
using slip types like a twoman power play on prize picks, that is not an optimal slip type. In today's day and age, in 2026, using math to make your and will lead to more profits than ever. So whether you're completely new to DFS
or you've been playing for years, the Oddsam Fantasy Optimizer is a tool that will quickly help determine if a play is profitable on your DFS app. And in complete walkthrough of the Fantasy Optimizer, teach you how to use it, the
ins and outs of the tool, my favorite strategies, and hopefully set you up so that you can start playing on DFS apps confidently. So, without any further ado, let's jump right in to the OddJam Fantasy Optimizer. So, here we are over
going to want to do is head over to the OddJam Fantasy Optimizer. So, we're going to toggle at the top here to fantasy. And here on our screen now is the fantasy optimizer. So, let's start breaking down what exactly this tool is
showing us. The premise of this tool is to show us where profitable picks are on DFS apps like prize picks, like underdog, like better picks. OddJim is going to show you a percent chance of these picks to hit. And you're going to
see profitable picks in green, decent picks in orange, and then likely unprofitable props or props that do not give you a true edge in red. That's going to be the filter system that we're going to look at. But let's break down
our picks. So, as you can see here at the top, you can see the books that you have, the apps you have. You can go to more. So, you can filter to the DFS app rule of thumb, you want to have as many as possible, as many as your state
allows. Get on them all because they all have different value at different times of the day that you should be exploiting to make maximum profit. One of my main rules that we want to do is set our minimum data point. So data point in
this is a reference to another sports book on the same line or the same prop filtered onto prize picks. If I had minimum data points as one, it means that we need one other reference point to be able to say this is a profitable
sports book that offers the exact same prop. What I like to do is set my minimum data points to three. It's going to weed out some plays, but I want as many sources of truth as possible. And another thing that's important to take a
look at is every DFS app has an optimal slip type. So for prize picks, it's automatically filtered in here. It's going to be a fiveman flex play. We can see it has minus18 odds for your set odds. We can see it has minus18 odds. If
you take the over or under on a prop, you're going to get locked in at minus18. Now a threeman power play on prize picks on better picks are good slip types to take. you're really losing a little bit of value, but your hit
rate's going to be a little bit higher. A twoman power play where every leg is minus 136 odds. If you break the math down about that, it's one of the worst slip types to take on any daily fantasy sports app. So, for prize picks, I
always keep my filter set at the most optimal slip type. However, I make a lot of threeman slips off of the data I'm getting from fiveman flex plays. And again, I've made almost $4,000 in 2026 off of DFS apps. I really started taking
them seriously in February. I went from a $10 better to a $25 better to a $50 bet. And this is the method that has worked well for me. If you do filter to get a little bit less options cuz it needs to be a bit more optimal. But I'm
and why I always stick with the recommended slip type in the filters. Even if I am going to make a three-man slip, which is slightly less positive EV correlation than the fiveman flex play. Now, we'll start with prize picks on
this. You can take a look and filter out different sports. I keep everything on. The only exception is when a PGA event is starting out in golf. You will see a ton of golf plays. So sometimes if I don't want to be super golf heavy, I'll
select all the sports and if golf was up here, I would just filter golf out to there's nothing wrong with taking these golf plays, but there's times when a I'm seeing is golf because they're optimal slips right there. And I want
other sports for that same day. League. Keep everything on stat. Keep everything on. Again, if a prop has value, we want to be taking it. We don't want to say, "Oh, no. I don't want shots on goal today in the FIFA World Cup." If that's
a great bet, we're going to take it. We never want to lose out on value. Team, player, overunder. Keep all of those as is. Then set your minimum data points to I always set to pre-match. It's very hard to live bet on DFS apps. The lines
change so fast. a lot of different apps. You need picks from multiple different teams in multiple different games. With live odds, a lot of times it's way too fast moving to be able to lock in a slip. So, I always like to stick with
what I would do to make a slip. Right now, if I was making this slip, you can't add Sabrina twice, but I would add these three plays right here. Jack Young plus Sabrina over four made threes. Casey M over five strikeouts. Conor
rounds. Now, as you can see, these are all in the green with a high probability or a probability that leads to a break even point over on Prize Pix. So, if we hit at 54.6, 54.58, 54.39% of our individual picks on
prize pick, you're going to end up profitable long-term when playing a fiveman flex play. I personally like to take most anything that's in the green, So, we can take a look at this. Jackie Young, Sabrina, and SQ over four made
to make a threeman slip. So, I'm getting minus 122 odds on each individual leg. minus18 here because I'm not using the same exact slip type. But again, I want more options on my plays. So, I keep it as a fiveman flex play. We can see here
that this is an okay play for a three-man slip. DraftKings offering minus25. That's more juicy than my minus 122 I'm getting locked in. However, FanDuel -14 isn't giving me great value there. Caesar's -18 isn't giving me
great value. We do see flip here at minus 131. Not as sharp of a book, but still another reference point to see where the market is. So, this play right here would be a good play, not a great play if I was doing a threeman slip. But
with DFS apps, you want as much volume as possible. You want as many at bats as possible. So, I would still add this into my parlay. We can take a look at Casey Mai's over five strikeouts. The reason this is a very good-looking prop
is we can see the sports books like FanDuel and DraftKings are offering this at 5 1/2 essentially at even money. Caesars, DraftKings, FanDuel all have 5 1/2 plus 104 plus 100 plus 103. Pretty much a 50/50 prop. We're getting it at
about a 50% chance to throw six strikeouts today. If he were to only throw five, we would lose that over on FanDuel at 5 and a half. But we will push on prize picks. So, we're getting a good number here in terms of what the
line is set at. And then what I love to see is MGM over 4 1/2 minus 200. Incredibly [snorts] juicy, which is basically MGM saying there is a great chance that he lands on five. If he goes ahead and gets six, we get that marked
as a win in our parlay. But if he lands right at five, it's a push and we live another day and it doesn't count as a negative pick in our parlay. Now, the total rounds. We can see your FanDuel minus 126. That's better than the -122
odds we'd get on prize fix. DraftKings is - 115. Not as exciting, but here we go. Bvada at 3 1/2 minus 200. So, this is saying 2 1/2 is really the more accurate line. It's incredibly juicy to go under 3 1/2, which is good for us
getting it at 2 and 1/2 to see a book have such confidence at a number above that it's not even worth betting it at that book. And then we can see here flip minus 125. So, all three of these plays I would say from my honest opinion are
good plays. I would put them in a slip. They're not incredible plays, but let's go over to Underdog, where a twoman non-insured play is actually the optimal slip type. Reason being, they pay out 3.5x your entry on a twoman slip
I'm going to set my minimum data points to three. And we're going to see what the slate has. Not a lot of value right here on underdog at this time, but if we I would be analyzing the odds just like I did on prize picks. Better picks a
can switch over. Minimum three data points. And here we go. We see three plays. Chelsea Gray over 6 and 12 assists. That's the line we're getting on better picks. Ignore the minus18 cuz I'm leaving it at the recommended
fiveman insured. But know in your head we are getting a threeman non-insured play at minus22 odds. So I'm looking at these plays wanting to beatus 122 odds. odds, I want to see plays on sports books that are more juicy than minus122.
this Chelsea Gray prop is a great play for my parlay. FanDuel -13, DraftKings - for my parlay. FanDuel -13, DraftKings - 135, Caesars -1 130, Bvvada - 135, and then Flip, we get all the way up to minus 155. Me getting this locked in
atus 122 for a three-man slip is exceptional value on the board. And we can also take a look, Michael Bush under 0.5 batting walks. Again, I'm minus 122 cuz I'm doing a threeman slip, not the fiveman insured, but DraftKings - 139,
FlipFus 145, Parlay Play, another DFS app that offers a little bit different odds. They're not as much as the set payout method minus 152. So, all three of these books are saying it is incredibly likely that Michael Bush goes
under 0.5 batting walks. So, we're going to give you a price where you have to pay the juice for that to happen. better has not adjusted their line yet. So, I can lock that in at minus 122 odds on my three men slip. And you have to ask
yourself, would you rather bet something at -122 odds when the market is saying this should be somewhere between -1 139 and -52 or would you rather go to a book and pay minus 152 juice. You would take the -12 odds every single day of the
week. And then here we can look at Shane Baz over five hits allowed. Similar to picks, all other books are offering this at 5 1/2 at a pretty even price. We can see here Bata - 110. They're even on this and we get this locked in at five.
So all the books, if they had 4 and 1/2 as their line, it would be extremely juicy to go over 4 and 1/2. They've set it at 5 and 1/2. That's what they think is the fair number, saying he's got a pretty 50/50 shot to land at five hits
allowed or to land at six hits allowed. We get it right on the dot, so we can play for a push in this as well. Now, of course, if it does land on a push, we're but it's not graded as a loss in our parlay. And so, if we hit our other two
legs, if Bush and Gray hit and Baz pushed, we still get a payout, which is an exceptional thing on a DFS app to get, we can play for pushes sometimes. So, when we see all the sports books sit at 5 1/2 and we get it at five, that's
us getting a better number, the physical number that the prop is set at. Now, one thing I do want to talk about is when should you take these yellow or orange plays? I'm not fully against taking them. Some people will say completely
leave them out. This is when I like to do a little bit of manual work on them. I can see right here, Jake Mangum under one and a half hits plus runs plus RBI. Let's say I'm doing a threeman slip. So, I'm getting this at -12 odds. I would
confident about this prop because I see DraftKings - 137, MGM -130, Caesars DraftKings - 137, MGM -130, Caesars -134, FlipFus 145, Parlay play - 147. So, I know that I'm still getting a significantly better price on better
picks at minus 122 odds than I would get on any of these sports books offering this same exact prop. Now, you don't want to just live with these yellow orange picks, but I'm very okay adding them into my parlay. Let's say we only
had two options here. Let's say Chelsea Gray and Michael Bush were the only two green plays on this and Shane Baz wasn't here. Well, I would be very comfortable adding this Magnum prop into my parlay because I know I'm still getting good
value compared to the line that I'm getting on better. Again, -12 odds on better for my threeman slip when I could have gotten - 137, -130, -34, and minus 145 odds on these other sports books that are setting the same exact line at
a much juicier price. So, that is how you can measure if you're getting value on your DFS slip. Rule number one when playing on DFS apps is if you do not have value, do not make a pick. I would never just go in and take two plays from
this and then I think something else is going to happen in today's MLB game, so threeman slip. If there are not three plays giving you value on each individual leg, you should not place that slip in daily fantasy sports. Just
don't have an edge, you shouldn't be betting it. I always like to say if it's not positive EV, it's not for me. I'm not going to touch anything that does because at the end of the day, what I
some money. I'm not in it to throw a threeman slip on so I can watch a game build up my bankroll and make some money doing this. And the OddJam Fantasy Optimizer is one of the best tools on the market that you can use. I use this
every single day before I ever place a slip so that I can see where value is coming in on the individual daily fantasy sports app that I'm using. And that's exactly how the OddJam fantasy optimizer works. Hopefully now you have
a much better understanding of how the tool works, but more importantly, how to actually build smarter DFS slips that will make you a profitable DFS player. And of course, if you want to start using the Ozam Fantasy Optimizer, join
Odds GM today and use promo code Takes for a free weekly trial and 35% off your first month. One thing I want to leave you with is this. The Fantasy Optimizer isn't designed to guarantee winning picks or predict the future. What it
does is help you make more informed DFS decisions by comparing the DFS lines to that of sports books and finding where value sits over the long run. That's what profitable players focus on. They aren't chasing hot streaks or making
consistently putting themselves in the best position by consistently getting the best numbers. If you've never used the optimizer before, I highly encourage you do so. It will change the way you view daily fantasy sports apps. So,
click through the filters, compare the sportsbook lines, and get comfortable use it, the more you'll start to understand what the data is telling you. If you like this tutorial, be sure to like and subscribe and let me know in
