## Summary

This video provides a walkthrough of the OddsJam Prediction Traders tool, highlighting recent updates and the settings the creator uses to identify winning prediction market plays. The creator demonstrates how to use the tool for sports, politics, and culture, and shares key criteria for evaluating traders to tail.

### Key Points

- **Tool Updates and Overview** [00:02] — The OddsJam Prediction Traders tool has received updates since its initial release. The creator will show settings, what to look for, and how to use it for sports, politics, culture, and movies.
- **Sniper vs. Explorer Algorithms** [00:27] — The sniper algorithm provides the highest ROI plays with fewer options, while the explorer algorithm offers more plays with still high value. The creator typically uses sniper but switches to explorer on slow days.
- **Settings: Sportsbook and Timeframe** [01:19] — Select the sportsbook with the most options available. Stick to events happening within 24 hours to avoid tying up bankroll, especially with a lower bankroll.
- **Settings: Sports, Event Status, and Share Price** [01:59] — Click all sports for the most plays. Stick to pre-event plays rather than live. Share price can be adjusted; for even-money plays, set max price to 50-60, but the creator often uses 80 when many plays are available.
- **Tracking Positions** [03:19] — After clicking a play, it opens Polymarket where you can track your position and cash out for positive return. This feature is in beta and not heavily used by the creator.
- **Creator's Track Record** [04:00] — The creator has 100 publicly tracked plays with 19.48% ROI, $711 profit with a $30 flat unit size, 23.7 units up, 66% win percentage, and 19-7 during the World Cup.
- **Evaluating Traders: Top Category and ROI** [04:27] — The trader's top category should match the bet type. A red flag if not. ROI should be over 3% unless the trader has thousands of trades; 18% ROI is exceptional but may not be sustainable.
- **Evaluating Traders: Bet Size and Relative Bet Size** [05:44] — Avoid bet sizes under $1,000 as they indicate less skin in the game. Relative bet size should be at least 1x, preferably 2x or higher, showing increased confidence.
- **Slippage and Example Analysis** [06:36] — Slippage indicates if you're getting better or worse odds than the trader. Green slippage means better odds. The creator avoids plays with relative bet size under 1x, even with high ROI.
- **Example of a Convicted Play** [08:14] — A trader with $4,000 down on both yes and no sides shows high conviction. Another trader with 3.5K bet size (9x relative) and 14.4% ROI in politics is a good example.

### Conclusion

The video offers a practical guide to using the OddsJam Prediction Traders tool, emphasizing the importance of evaluating trader stats like ROI, bet size, and relative bet size to find high-confidence plays. The creator's success demonstrates the potential of this approach.

## Transcript

in this video prediction traders from OddsJam. Since this has released and I made a full video on it, there have been a ton of updates on the tool. So, I'm going to show you the settings that I like to typically use, what I'm looking
for, and how you can use this not just for sports, but there's also politics, culture, movies. I'll show you all of that in this video really quickly. So, first off, one of the changes that was not there when we first started was the
sniper algorithm versus the explorer algorithm. So, if you're just looking for the highest ROI plays possible and you want fewer plays, you're going to want to go with sniper here. And I typically have sniper on for the
majority of the time so I can see these plays, right? But, if you're like, "Hey, it's a slow day in sports or just in any event you want to do," then you can go ahead and you can look at the explorer as well. Now, this is going to still
have really high value plays, but it's going to give you more options as opposed to sniper. It's just more honed in on a couple higher-level plays. Now, July. There's no basketball, there's no football, so there's not going to be
nearly as many plays as there typically would be. But, you can still see we've plays, we've got politics plays that are up right now as we speak. And this is at lot of sharps putting down action right now on these prediction markets. And so,
the settings we would typically use for this, right? So, sports book I would have the most options possible, right? have access to. Now, for me, and I talk about this in my other videos, whether
it's arbitrage or plus EV, I typically like to stick to today, but if there's not a lot up, then you can always go to next 24 hours or next 7 days. The reason just getting started, is because if you have a lower bankroll, you don't want to
out and then you have to wait for those to actually happen and then you can go ahead and take advantage of them. So, I would like to stick to things happening within 24 hours. The next one we have here is sports and obviously, if you
want the most plays possible, you're going to click all of these. You can know, so you at least know what you're betting on, but I like to click all of these typically. Event status, I stick to typically pre-event for this. I don't
mess around with live as much, but there are a ton of live plays that pop up for this just like they would on the plus EV side or the arbitrage side. Share price, either. You'll see as I put out plays on Twitter, sometimes it's an 80-cent play
really only want this to be like even money plays, you'll put this in anywhere from 50 to 60 for max price, but I don't winner in my book. Now, one of the things that I will occasionally mess
with, not right now because like I said, there's not as many plays going on, but when there are a lot of plays rolling in, I like to typically change this to 80, right? So, right now, this would only give us the one play that's showing
up and it's for politics. It's for Donovan McKenny, yes for the Michigan 13th District Democratic Primary Winner. But like I said, right now with there not being as much action going on, I just want to see what is out there
versus if you looked at this during, for example, March Madness or the World Cup would have a ton of plays clogging up your feed. So, that's why I would use you're going to be able to do as well is you're going to be able to track your
position. So, once you click on a play here, it opens Polymarket, you go in, I've got this open with just a dummy wallet. You are able to click track position, and you're going to be able to
cash them out or you can cash them out for positive return. Obviously, like it says on the screen, this is just in beta. This is not something that you do or die with or something that I even use a ton, but that is available for you
spot and track those plays if that's something you want to do, you want to consider to actually be the most important part is what you are looking at on these plays. And what I'm about to show you is the way that I've been able
to get 100 of these plays down, so 100 publicly tracked plays, and you can see here that we got 19.48% ROI, $711 profit with just a $30 flat
unit size. We were up 23.7 units with a 66% win percentage. And you can see on top of that, we went 19 and 7 during the World Cup. All these plays publicly tracked on my Twitter for everybody to tail. So, here's what I'm typically
looking for, right? You can see why this bet and the trader stats here. So, obviously, I tend to like the person's top category to be what I'm actually betting it. So, if this person's top category was sports or soccer or
baseball, I would be a little skeptical. Now, I wouldn't necessarily totally avoid it, but it would be a red flag right up the bat for me. You will run into that sometimes, and I tend to avoid those unless a couple of these other
things line up really well. So, the second thing here is these two numbers, the ROI and the trade. So, he's got a 18% ROI, which is obviously amazing, right? Like if you did that every single day, you would be one of the best
traders ever, right? Now, that's obviously not going to continue for the And you can see he's only gotten 200 trades down. And if you've watched any of my other videos or you know anything about EV betting, for example, you know
that variance has big swings sometimes. So, he might just be hot with these first 200 trades, and he's more realistically a 5% ROI type of guy, which is still really good. I tend to like this being over 3% ROI unless
they've got thousands of trade down. If they're around 2% ROI and a couple of these top numbers line up with what I like, and they've got thousands of trades in, I will still tail it, but I tend to like it to be 3% or higher. But
these are the three bigger numbers that I really look closely at. So, number one I really look closely at. So, number one is what is their bet size? I tend to not tail bet sizes that are under a thousand dollars just because there's not that
much skin in the game, right? And the odds are not as high that they're a true sharp or a whale or someone that does a lot of volume. Now, that directly correlates to the relative bet size. So, you can see that they put down two
thousand dollars and that's 2.7 times more than their typical bet size. So, they are putting down typically a little under a thousand dollars per play, but they've done nearly three times as much for this play, which means they're
see plays get extremely high for this. I've seen people put down a million twenty-six thousand dollars for the World Cup, hundreds of thousands of dollars for the World Cup final. So, this number will get quite large and
person is more and more confident. On top of that, you have the slippage. Now, that means we're either getting nearly the same odds or better odds as this person. So, this one means we are actually getting slightly better odds.
they got eighty-three point five cents. Numbers I stick to the most here are relative bet size. I always want this to be at least one or higher. If it's point kind of just throwing a little bit of action on something. They don't really
just sprinkling on it. So, I tend to avoid those. I want this to be at least one X. I really, really prefer this to actually be two X or higher because that second one here being they're putting down at least a thousand dollars. And
here without actually having to click in, right? So, you can see this person put down six hundred seventy dollars and it's only point six their relative bet size. Now, they have a really high ROI here and we are getting green slippage
sixty-five, they got at sixty-four. So, but this is something I would probably avoid because like I said, it's not even one times relative bet size and they've only got $670 down, so I would typically avoid something like this. So, funny
on actually the no side of this candidate because they got really good prices here, right? So, they got no here at 82.5, and it's now trading at 85. And they got yes here at 83.5. So, they've
gotten in both of these markets as they've gotten better pricing, right? there might be slightly different prices in this market that you can take more excited, even more confident in this play because this person actually
has about $4,000 down on this play between the no here and the yes here. So, they're even more convicted in this play. Another one here from a different really like. Now, their bet size that they've got down is 3.5K. That's nine
times more than they typically would do. Geopolitics is their top category, which obviously this is in the politics world, right? They are 14.4% on politics, and they've got over 1,300 trades, and we are getting even better
odds than they are. Now, this person put this down, right? And it's 37. So, because this is obviously a longer bet, you might not want to do a full unit on this, but this person seems extremely confident in this
consider sprinkling a little bit on. So, this was just a quick walk through of what the tool looks like now, the things I'm looking for, how you can actually go ahead and choose the type of plays that I'm choosing that have gotten me the
results that you saw both on the NBA, March Madness, and the World Cup. There's going to be a huge opportunity coming up with the NFL, college back, so I'm super excited for that. Let me know if you guys have any questions
