[0:00] so I had a coaching session with radiant [0:02] Pro Player and sixth man for 100 thieves [0:05] with waifu in case you don't know him [0:08] yet this is him [0:10] one bullet [0:16] he's pretty good it's safe to say and [0:18] here are the three most important things [0:20] he taught me that fixed my aim and that [0:23] are going to fix yours too tip number [0:25] one was a total game changer for me [0:28] reset your aim before you Peak an angle [0:31] because the problem is this if you move [0:33] around the map and track your Crosshair [0:35] along the angles then your wrist and arm [0:38] naturally can stay in the default [0:40] position if you now go ahead and Peak [0:43] angles right away without resetting [0:46] first you're putting yourself at a [0:48] disadvantage because you are not aiming [0:50] from your strongest hand and forearm [0:52] position so take a second before you [0:55] peek to pre-aim your Crosshair properly [0:57] reset your mouse position and mentally [1:00] prepare to take a fight the mental [1:03] aspect is another reason why this tip [1:05] from thwifo made such a difference for [1:07] me by taking a short moment to prepare [1:09] for the peak you're just so much more [1:12] dialed in and ready to instantly kill [1:14] any enemy that appears on your screen [1:16] when you strafe out so that's the first [1:19] piece of the puzzle the second one to [1:22] complement it is perfecting your micro [1:24] flicks and that makes total sense [1:26] because if you Peak every angle prepared [1:28] and ready then your Crosshair can't be [1:30] off by much all that's left to do is to [1:33] micro flick on the enemy's head and [1:35] instantly kill him the faster and more [1:37] consistently you can do that the more of [1:39] a fragging monster you're going to [1:40] become according to thrifo the Holy [1:43] Grail aim training scenario to practice [1:45] is 116 Target small on Kovacs or [1:48] something like 6 shot ultimate on [1:50] aimlabs he told me not to worry about my [1:53] score and go slow in the beginning [1:55] ninety percent plus accuracy is the goal [1:58] and once you get that you can increase [2:00] speed on the Range you can then combine [2:02] your micro flicks with strafing movement [2:05] focus on still being sharp with your [2:07] flicks and not lazily rely on your [2:10] movement to get your Crosshair On Target [2:13] in death matches you can then put [2:15] everything together reset your aim [2:17] before peaking an angle peek out and [2:19] micro flick fights will feel a lot [2:21] easier once you get this done correctly [2:23] and transfer this good habit into your [2:25] ranked games [2:27] now this all makes sense but then [2:29] towards the end of the coaching session [2:31] something interesting happened before I [2:34] tell you what that was make sure to [2:36] check out the link to Twitter's coaching [2:37] in the description down below he really [2:40] is a great coach and if you're serious [2:41] about improving he will help you to [2:43] achieve your goals so back to that aha [2:46] moment I shot y for this clip because I [2:49] felt like I was having trouble with [2:51] holding angles and I expected him to [2:54] correct my Crosshair placement or [2:55] movement or something like that but he [2:58] simply said that I have almost no chance [3:00] to win that duel because the enemy knows [3:03] where I am after I just shot at the [3:05] brimstone and the Jet comes at me with [3:08] perfect cross replacement and peaker's [3:10] advantage [3:11] so I learned a very important lesson you [3:14] have to understand when aim is not the [3:16] problem maybe you're a bit of a [3:18] perfectionist and overthinker like me [3:20] and tend to doubt your aim when losing [3:22] duels like this but as dwightful pointed [3:25] out often it's not your aim it's your [3:28] positioning and movement here's a [3:31] crucial example for that I Peak the [3:33] enemy sage in a short so now she knows [3:35] where I am if I repeat this exact angle [3:39] she's going to have her Crosshair ready [3:41] for my head and instantly kill me and [3:44] before I would have always wondered why [3:46] everyone seems to have faster aim than [3:48] me but a simple repositioning by going a [3:51] few steps closer to the wall totally [3:53] shifts the advantage on this duel in my [3:55] favor Sage's Crosshair is in a bad spot [3:58] for my Peak I am also super fast on her [4:01] screen while I know where to aim to get [4:04] the skill easily that's why [4:06] repositioning is such an undervalued [4:08] skill I've made a detailed guide on it [4:10] that's linked on screen right now you [4:12] should definitely watch it next to [4:13] understand how you can give yourself the [4:16] advantage in every single fight until [4:18] next time much love peace
