## Summary

The video demonstrates building a fast AI research agent using Mistral Vibe and Surf Agent to browse Reddit for sentiment analysis, aimed at supporting AI trading decisions. The creator shows how to install Mistral Vibe, set up Surf Agent, and create a reusable skill for rapid market research.

### Key Points

- **Goal: Build a Fast AI Research Agent** [00:00] — The creator needs a web browsing agent for sentiment analysis on Reddit to gather context for AI trading. They will use Mistral Vibe (sponsor) and their own tool, Surf Agent.
- **Install Mistral Vibe** [00:30] — Install Mistral Vibe using a curl command. It's super fast. Then run with 'vibe' command. Use Mistral Medium 3.5 High model.
- **Install Surf Agent Locally** [01:00] — Run 'npm install surf-agent' locally. Accept all bash commands for the session. Surf Agent provides a Recon API endpoint that can be run from any browser.
- **Connect to Chrome and Find Reddit Tab** [02:00] — Surf Agent connects to the Chrome instance. Use voice mode (Ctrl+R) to command: 'Use Surf Agent to get a feel from all the tabs we have open in Chrome.' It identifies Reddit on tab 3.
- **Navigate to Stocks Subreddit** [03:00] — Command: 'Use Surf Agent on tab 3 navigate to the stocks subreddit.' Mistral Vibe executes quickly, scrolling the page and writing JavaScript to gather context.
- **Gather Context from WSB and Crypto Subreddits** [04:00] — Command: 'Get the context from the WSB subreddit and cryptocurrencies, start with a bash date to get grounded in time.' The agent opens new tabs, scrolls, and gathers context.
- **Create a Reusable Skill** [05:00] — After the test run, the creator builds a skill called 'Reddit Pulse' that reads stocks, Wall Street Bets, and Crypto Currency subreddits in parallel, producing a concise report with sentiment sorted by long, flat, or short.
- **Run the Skill in Auto Mode** [06:00] — Reload Mistral Vibe, set model to medium 3.5, enable Yolo mode (auto approve). Fire the skill. It runs much faster (20-30 seconds) and produces a summary with long signals (SpaceX, RGTI) and flat signals (Nokia).
- **Integrate X.com Research** [07:00] — Command: 'Open a tab, do some research on RGTI using x.com.' The agent returns bullish momentum with caution. This can be integrated into the skill.
- **Conclusion and Call to Action** [08:00] — The creator is happy with the speed and results. Encourages viewers to try Mistral Vibe via the link in description. Thanks Mistral for sponsoring.

### Conclusion

The video successfully demonstrates building a fast, reusable AI research agent using Mistral Vibe and Surf Agent, capable of gathering sentiment from Reddit and X.com in under a minute, which can be integrated into an AI trading setup.

## Transcript

Okay, so today, I wanted to share this video because I need to build a AI research agent. I want to optimize this. I want it to be super fast. So, I have access to a Mistral Vibe, so I thought we can use that today. They're also sponsoring this video. So, basically, what kind of agent I need is a web browsing agent, okay? So, I'm going to use my own tool that is called Surf Agent. There are other options, too. Because I need a hyper-specific agent today. Because I want to be able to browse Reddit at first to get sentiment. Because I want to do some sentiment analysis and gathering of context for my AI trading, right? So, that is what I'm going to do today. And hopefully, by kind of going through this, you will pick up something you can implement in your workflows, too. So, I think we're just going to start off here. I'm just going to install Mistral Vibe. Super easy. Just use this curl command here. And just run and just install Mistral Vibe. That was super fast. You can now run with Vibe. So, let's just do that. And we should be in here now. So, I have already put in my key. So, we're going to be using the Mistral Medium 3.5 High today. So, the first thing I want to do, let's just clear this, okay? The first thing I need to do is run npm install Surf Agent. I want to do this locally, not globally like we saw back here, right? I want to do this locally, okay? So, let's just do that. I'm not going to run this in Maybe I should run this in accept all. But, let's just do this now. Accept for the rest of this session, we're going to accept all bash commands. And yeah, I can adjust this a bit. So, the reason why I need this hyper-specific agent, because when I do the research for my AI trading, I really want this to understand the Surf Agent. You can see the speed of Vibe here is pretty good and we yeah, we get everything we need, right? You can see we have the core concept of how Surf Agent works now. It has some API I points. We're mostly going to use the Recon API point. And what is good about this as this can be run from any browser. So, Vibe with the Mistral 3.5 here should be able to handle this. So, let's just test it out now because this kind of connects to my Chrome instance here and you can see we are logged in on Reddit. So, in Vibe we can do voice settings. So, I want to do voice mode on, okay? Because I kind of like that. So, we can just do a press control R to record. So, I'm just going to do that and I want to use Surf Agent to get a feel from all the tabs we have open in Chrome. Okay, so we just going to allow that. So, Surf Agent start. I'm going to allow. And now you can see we are using Surf Agent to check out all the tabs we have open here in the background, right? I want to look for what tab Reddit is on, right? In this case. Okay, so let's just do that. And here you can see all the tabs. Uh tab what tab is Reddit? I think it's 0 1 2 3. Tab 3. Okay, so that's good. So, now we have Reddit on tab 3. So, now we can actually use Surf Agent on tab 3. I can just say in Mistral Vibe here, use Surf Agent on tab 3 navigate to the stocks subreddit. So, Mistral Vibe here and Mistral 3.5 now should be able to do that. I'm just going to allow and you can see it's super fast. It goes straight to this. So, now I kind of want to also do something like good scroll the page to get context and write a short summary. So, let's observe how good the Vibe and Mistral 3.5 is at executing this computer task. What What it's doing now is using Surf at Trend to write some Java Script Java Script code in the background and by that it's actually using the the browser to actually look for look for contacts we can use right. So you can see it went to that. It opened up this. You can see in the background here it's kind of scrolling down. I guess we can make this a bit smaller. And yeah. So what I like about Mistral 3.5 on Vibe is the speed because this this operation I'm doing now doesn't really require like a big model. So the speed here is pretty favorable actually. I'm just going to say also get the context from the WSB subreddit cryptocurrencies start with a bash date to get grounded in time because when we do this research I kind of want the agent to have like a sense of time so it doesn't look at post that is like way old. So you can see how fast after we enter this in Vibe how fast we were already opening a new tab going into the Wall Street Bets subreddit scanning this page right and I also said open up a tab on Yeah, was it cryptocurrency? Let's see if we can do that. And yeah, you can see we scrolled WSB. Now we are on the cryptocurrency. I want to see if you actually do some scrolling over here too to grab the context. And yeah, you can see in the background here we are kind of scrolling the main page to grab all the context we need. But the next part now is going to be the important part because we need to Now that we have done this once we want to build everything to make it into a skill that is super fast the next time we use it because now the agent had to write some different code. It had to kind of set put thing together. But the next time we run it hopefully this is super fast. We do everything in like one go. So let's try to optimize for that when we kind of have the the output here in Vibe. Okay, so you can see now we kind of end up with kind of our summary here market snapshot SpaceX IPO validation, and kind of the the overall sentiment, cautious skepticism on AI valuation, focus on accounting realities. Yeah, you get the point. So, we're not going to go deep into this, but now I want to build out a skill that we can use next time, right? I'm going to show you this prompt here. So, great. We need to turn this workflow into a skill. Use, not just, but use Surf Agent, read stocks, Wall Street Bets Crypto Currency Subreddit, use the learnings from this test run, okay? Because we wrote some code. Also, I want to run this in parallel, all three, and end up with a short, very concise report of the assets that is most talked about in those subreddits, okay? So, we want to sort the sentiment by long, flat, or short. Create a skill. So, let's see if we can do this now, because this is something that will help us next time we fire up Vibe, and we log into this directory, we can fire off this skill. Hopefully, that will speed it up. So, that's what we're going to look for. So, I kind of think about this. We are teaching, training the agent to use this skill, and hopefully now, next time we run it, it's going to be much faster, okay? Because this is what I want from uh from this this video today. I would need a fast skill that can do quick research for me on the fly or more or most, because that's what I need kind of for my my AI trading. I need fast results, because I want to iterate in live uh not in What do you call it? In live in real time, not in live time. So, let's build out this skill, and let's try it and see if we can improve on the time here. Done now, so let's just fire this up again. So, I just reloaded, because our skill was completed. Uh in Vibe, we can do some changes. I think we don't need thinking now. Let's put it down to medium on 3.5. I think that should be fine for this operation. Uh do we want to change anything else? I don't think so. I think that should be fine. So, we named our skill. You can see it here. Reddit pulse. Pulse? I don't know. Reddit pulse. Okay. So, let's just fire this off. So, now we should hopefully this goes faster. So, you can see we loaded up our skill in mind. And hopefully this time Okay, so I didn't put on this uh let's see if we can fix that. So, actually let me just go out again. And let's do the Yolo mode. So, that's just going to be agent auto approve. Uh that should work fine. And what did we call it? Reddit pulse. So, let's see now. Hopefully this time it is in auto mode. We Yeah, we loaded up the skill. That looks pretty good. And remember since we kind of trained our agent this time we run it, it should kind of have everything ready. And hopefully now it's much faster uh than the first time we kind of did our training run on this. Skill is loaded. Uh now we just going to go for it. And yeah, you can see we are start we already kind of have everything we need to do. We fire up the local host, check the health of our browser. And now it should uh basically just be go go go. We have the recon, we have the read. And we should be able to gather context now pretty fast compared to the first run like I said. Okay, so we have the first one that's the stock. Okay, so we defaulted to the old. reddit. That's fine. Maybe for speed you can see we also have the cryptocurrency up here. That's good. Uh what about the VSB? We have some errors here, but we can probably fix that. Yeah, we fixed the VSB quite fast. And this is much more effective now since we have already run it once. This kind of becomes more reliable now. Okay? And we could update the skill with the fix we had to do. We can also iterate more on this. And there you go. Now we are in the WSB one. And let's just gather all the context here, and that should be pretty much it. That took like 20 20 seconds, 30 seconds. So, let's just wait now for the Just wait for the final summary. So, remember we wanted it to be kind of sentiment analysis should be like long, flat, or short. That is specific to our trade setup, right? So, let's just let this ride, and let's see what we come back with here. Okay, so we got it. You can see from Wall Street Bets, you can see long, SpaceX, RGTI. Short, we didn't find any clear signal. Flat was all of those. So, I guess interesting for long is this one since we didn't get any short. So, what we could do now is say this one, right? We could try to follow up on X. If we want to pipe in X here. So, let me see what I can do. But if not, I think this is a good start for the research bot. And the flat we are not so interested in, like Nokia has been really popular lately, but maybe it's a bit flat now. So, how could we actually pipe in X here now? So, I can just say, "Great, the search engine can also use x.com. Open a tab, do some research on RGTI." So, let's see what happens here now if I do that. And of course, we can integrate this into the skill now. And that's pretty much all I wanted. Okay? So, let's just wait for the X results here and I think I'm pretty happy. That was basically what I set out to build today. Okay, so this is what we got back, right? You can see from X, the research we did there, we got a bullish momentum, but cautionary. Okay, maybe not the most clear, but we have bias towards long. So, this is just a data point I want to see. So, this seems to work and I'm looking forward kind of integrating this into my AI agent trading setup just to test it out. So, if you want to try out Mistral Vibe, you can follow the link in my description. This will take you to the setup page, install super easy, launch with Vibe, and you can start testing this out. So, yeah, this worked great for me. The speed was good. Everything I wanted to do worked pretty good. So, super happy with this. So, definitely go check out Mistral Vibe. Thanks to the and two, three. And two, three. And a big thanks to Mistral for sponsoring this video. So, yeah, hope you found something interesting here setting up your research agent with some browser use. So, yeah, thank you for tuning in. Have a great day and I'll see you again soon.
