[0:03] Jack we're live so we are live it has [0:07] been several months since the last time [0:09] we did this so hopefully you are ready [0:11] for a several hour live stream where we [0:13] do our best to answer all of your [0:16] questions and a gentleman named Zach [0:17] Peterson has already jumped the gun but [0:20] before we answer his questions and many [0:23] more we should talk about oh I don't [0:25] know why are we talking about anything [0:26] we should be saying hello to people and [0:28] making sure that they can hear us first [0:30] right that is a good call [0:32] can you guys hear us [0:39] oh and we have a lovely moderator named [0:42] chin face who is helping us out chin [0:45] face can you message me and let me know [0:48] if you can hear us [0:54] about you Mark can they hear you today's [0:56] sponsor is Kirkland organic fruit and [0:59] vegetable pouches we're supporting the [1:01] apple and strawberry spinach uh sector [1:04] there's a lot of farmers out there that [1:06] are not getting a lot of money for [1:07] spinach so if you buy two cans today [1:10] well actually at Kirkland or Costco you [1:13] can only buy 700 cans when you eat all [1:15] that spinach I'm gonna donate point zero [1:18] zero zero seven cents to Jack's favorite [1:21] charity his Corvette fund oh perfect for [1:24] new tires he'll get a new set of tires [1:26] in about 20 years for that thing okay so [1:30] it sounds like most of you can hear us [1:34] loud and clear chin I am waiting oh yes [1:38] I had I do have a fifth grader lunch by [1:41] the way somebody said that looks like [1:42] I'm eating like a fifth grader uh you [1:44] absolutely do my mom made me this [1:46] beforehand I I got out of the basement [1:48] today just for about five minutes to do [1:50] this I had to sweep the chimney first [1:52] and get get her uh old rugs cleaned so [1:55] I've just spent 12 hours of this [ __ ] [1:58] driving back and forth from Detroit all [2:00] this guy wanted to do every couple hours [2:02] with poor chin face in the car was stop [2:04] and get Scoops he's like Jack I can't [2:06] believe you made me drive all this way [2:07] can we get Scoops that was with three [2:10] days in a row literally this man eats [2:13] this guy he's a small child well I [2:16] didn't want to go because I had so much [2:18] stuff to do and Jack's Jack pulled out [2:20] every stop like every time I said no [2:23] he's like oh but I did this and this I'm [2:25] like yeah but I can't do this and then [2:27] it's like oh I did did this and this I'm [2:29] like no I still got to do this and then [2:31] he's like I I made the Sun the moon and [2:34] stars revolve around you and I couldn't [2:36] say no and then I wound up going and [2:38] then every [2:40] ounce of energy you stole out of me I [2:42] had to replenish it back with a hot [2:43] fudge sundae a strawberry shake uh and [2:47] I'm not supposed to eat dairy so it was [2:49] I would I could literally feel the water [2:51] pressure in my hotel from four floors [2:53] down change yeah the guy I I woke up at [2:57] three in the morning and uh I had some [3:00] stomach problems and the guy next door I [3:03] could hear in the hotel room he's like [3:04] oh my God what is that smell well [3:10] anyway so that's uh we're just warming [3:13] up here so that's that's what's been [3:15] going on with us let's get some other [3:16] housekeeping done we have done many [3:18] projects we have a Integra Type S [3:22] docufilm potentially coming out on [3:24] Monday by some luck luckiness maybe Mark [3:27] and edit all together tomorrow he's been [3:29] working on it for the last week we got [3:31] back from Japan a couple weeks ago where [3:33] we finally more or less wrapped up the [3:36] shooting element of our NSX docufilm so [3:39] many of you guys have been waiting on [3:42] that video and it will take about five [3:44] years to edit together five hours of [3:46] people speaking Japanese and mind you we [3:48] don't speak Japanese so it's gonna have [3:50] to get translated out and then subtitled [3:53] and all that other fun stuff so that'll [3:54] be [3:56] um interesting oh it's going to be [3:58] interesting I'm going to lock the door [3:59] just in case my mom brings me oh dessert [4:01] perfect you can't let her do that and [4:02] she's gonna bring you a bucket as well [4:03] yeah she's gonna bring me a diaper and a [4:06] banana split what else have we done we [4:08] we finally did our Z06 GT3 film we did [4:12] the five-way comparison with Carlos laga [4:14] which was uh hopefully you guys have [4:16] seen that video it's right up your alley [4:17] it's got all the hot hatches that are [4:20] not all four cylinders despite what I [4:22] say in the intro yeah this guy said the [4:24] wrong thing like three times or four [4:25] times in the video cylinders and then he [4:28] actually did call him five cylinders I [4:30] don't know where that came from he's [4:32] just confused yeah I I have to add [4:35] cylinders like I add inches in height [4:37] well let me put this banner up here just [4:39] so [4:42] uh speaking of testosterone we are [4:44] planning on shooting a e-ray video like [4:47] we did for the original Z06 film and our [4:49] M2 M2 Supra video [4:52] uh is out and we've been working on a [4:55] dark horse docufilm as well so we have [4:57] quite a few projects in the background [4:59] for you guys and we're about to do our [5:01] first ever uh Lamborghini film we have [5:04] an sto that's being shipped out to us [5:06] and Lamborghini is going to have us do [5:07] an engineering piece on that video kind [5:09] of celebrating the end we're not [5:10] celebrating sort of bemoaning the end of [5:12] the V10 [5:14] and sort of talking about their future [5:16] products for the three people on planet [5:18] Earth who can actually afford a [5:20] Lamborghini but how much is that car I [5:22] think it starts in the low 300s and [5:24] really the point of it for us is because [5:27] that's what I'm going to be able to [5:28] afford oh yeah just you know you're [5:30] sitting on a gold mine so your organs [5:31] I'll be closer to being negative 300 000 [5:34] for 300 000. but really I mean you get [5:37] to see how a Lamborghini is engineered [5:40] and most of the time in the past no one [5:42] has talked about the technical [5:44] attributes of that vehicle is just like [5:45] look at me and my Instagram models there [5:48] are you know there's actual engineering [5:50] already that goes into those cars and [5:52] it's sad that no one talks about it so [5:53] hopefully we get to talk about a little [5:55] bit of it yeah so it's the hardcore [5:57] viewers that are appreciated I think [5:58] that's that's what it'll come off as I [6:00] have my severe doubts that anybody's [6:04] really gonna watch that video just [6:05] because I do feel like that space has [6:07] been dominated by a whole different [6:09] subset of Internet creators uh who do [6:13] mostly street racing and whatever what [6:16] else do internet creators do with [6:18] Lamborghinis Jack crash them jump them [6:20] over things because of one guy who jumps [6:21] them all that's cool yeah it should be [6:25] yeah we I don't know as we as we sort of [6:29] see what we can accomplish while we have [6:31] good weather hopefully these will become [6:33] some unique and interesting projects [6:35] things we finished what else did we do [6:37] Mark let's talk about let's let's talk [6:39] about the big ones right I mean I know [6:40] you brought it up already [6:42] um before we get into this question and [6:45] answer Zone that goes on for quite a [6:46] while [6:47] um [6:48] the Integra video also has some special [6:53] stuff in it which I guess it is pretty [6:56] cool we got to film them get built uh we [6:59] shut down a track Audubon Country Club [7:00] continues to be a valuable asset for us [7:02] so we we put them out on track and we [7:05] downloaded as well so I'm pretty sure [7:06] we're the only Outlet to track or dyno [7:09] and so yeah this this one's interesting [7:10] because yeah we did the we did the [7:12] factory again so we to your point the [7:15] track part but that's also it's got some [7:16] really interesting data in there about [7:18] what's different about the car like real [7:21] data to show like how it's different [7:23] um the dyno numbers are clearly [7:25] interesting and then of course uh the [7:27] other part is we did audio testing on it [7:29] we did decibel testing on the interior [7:31] to see like is it actually quieter so [7:34] there's a lot of stuff in there along [7:35] with trying to talk to Acura about what [7:37] they were trying to do with the car uh [7:39] for real like what they were trying to [7:40] do and I think they did a great [7:41] explanation of what it is and what it's [7:43] not [7:44] um I'm excited about because it's really [7:46] it's what I set out to do when we start [7:48] when I started this I wanted to take a [7:51] new car have manufacturers help us [7:53] explain what they're doing so we then [7:55] can learn about it and then explain it [7:58] back without being marketing and that's [8:00] what I really love and I love to see the [8:02] start to finish the manufacturing the [8:03] assembly process I mean it's just so [8:05] cool and then to be able to have the [8:08] skill set now to understand what the [8:10] hell is going on behind the scenes [8:11] mechanically with the car and to get [8:13] into all those details it's just it's so [8:15] much fun it's just there's never enough [8:16] time to do this stuff it's that's the [8:19] biggest problem there you can't just [8:20] spend endless times on time on this one [8:22] thing but I'm really looking forward to [8:25] that one and I know the Japan trip you [8:26] mentioned that [8:28] um do you want to talk a little bit more [8:29] about that Jack because that's that's [8:31] kind of a big deal too so the NSX [8:34] project something we've teased for [8:35] almost a year at this point those who [8:37] have been following the channel or any [8:39] of our Instagram accounts we started [8:41] this project nine months ago Acura was [8:44] kind enough to ship us a gen 1 and a sax [8:49] and a NSX Type S as they were killing [8:51] off the car [8:52] and initially uh this is something that [8:54] we'd pitched several times in the past [8:56] and after just a lot of going back and [8:57] forth with them and trying to figure out [8:59] how to make a project work for both of [9:01] us they finally agreed to it and then we [9:03] got some of the American side of Honda [9:06] involved in the MSX project we had John [9:08] Ikeda John Rivers he did product [9:10] planning he's also an Integrity type [9:12] best video Peter Cunningham the only [9:13] American to race one in Era on a factory [9:16] supported team John vasos who is a [9:20] mechanic who built a shop and basically [9:21] dedicated his life to these cars but [9:23] after interviewing all these people [9:24] getting the cars we realized pretty [9:27] quickly that this is a Japanese story [9:29] not an American story well we appreciate [9:31] the car and what it has to offer all [9:34] these guys who worked on it none of them [9:36] were here right all we did was resell [9:37] them in this market and race them yeah [9:39] so after going back and forth with Japan [9:42] and Honda North America and realizing [9:44] that some of the people working on this [9:45] are quite elderly [9:47] you know sort of a Time imperative as [9:49] well you know you want to be able to [9:51] tell the story from these people's [9:52] mouths before they're either too old or [9:55] physically unable to tell the story so [9:57] after going back and forth for eight [9:59] months we finally got all the key team [10:02] members involved uhara-san the chief [10:05] engineer we put him on camera he [10:06] answered our questions uh who made a son [10:09] who kind of organized this all from the [10:11] Japanese PR side of things uh [10:13] tsukumotasan watasan a couple other [10:16] gentlemen everyone from the aluminum [10:18] Body Works to the chassis Engineers who [10:20] worked on every iteration of the NSX [10:22] including the type RS are all on camera [10:25] for us to interview and tell the story [10:27] we got to go to the Honda Museum where [10:29] they gave us free access [10:31] yeah we I mean I got to climb around [10:33] Earth and Santa's McLaren which sure it [10:36] has nothing to do with the NSA story but [10:38] arathon does have something to do with [10:40] the NSX story so we we've really tried [10:42] to put something together that you know [10:44] after you and I are no longer doing this [10:45] and God knows how many years someone can [10:47] go back and watch what we're hoping is [10:49] going to be the definitive NSX video if [10:51] you want to learn about what the car is [10:54] today and from the people who designed [10:55] it almost 30 years later yeah it's uh [10:58] this was again like when we talk about [11:00] or you know we start talking about the [11:02] things that you want to accomplish doing [11:03] this and obviously this is quite [11:05] self-serious right now I apologize that [11:07] there's not a lot of comedy in this [11:09] story but the [11:11] when we started doing it I'm like I want [11:14] to do an NSX video because people are [11:16] like okay you've done these other ones [11:17] why don't you do this and it was strange [11:19] to get to a place where you realize [11:21] there is no story without the real [11:23] people that did it did the work because [11:24] this is what happens all the time you [11:26] never really talk to the people that did [11:28] the physical work and all the hard work [11:29] on the back end and I'm like I couldn't [11:31] I didn't want to finish the video unless [11:33] I had that part and the naivety of doing [11:36] it this way of not really understanding [11:39] what that meant was the only reason we [11:41] got to this point because if I would [11:42] have known what in all of this how it [11:44] would have played out in the amount of [11:45] time that it's taken I would have [11:47] probably never done it but to be able to [11:49] have had them be on camera like you [11:52] mentioned and to be able to tell their [11:54] story granted it's all in Japanese so [11:55] there's a huge language barrier and [11:57] translation issue that's going to have [11:59] to go into to making it work you know [12:00] you have four hours of interviews that [12:04] are all in Japanese and I don't speak [12:06] Japanese I can barely speak three words [12:08] because I'm American and uh we only know [12:11] English but to have that translated back [12:14] for a video that's cohesive for a viewer [12:16] to understand and then getting all the [12:18] technical stuff that we didn't know [12:19] existed that was the best part [12:21] uh UE horoson wrote a book that he spent [12:24] 20 years writing about the technical [12:26] stuff with S2000 and the NSX that really [12:29] nobody knew about even the closest [12:31] people to him so we find this out when [12:33] it's there it's all in Japanese we have [12:35] him sign the book and then later we're [12:37] like hey did you write this thing yeah [12:38] we had him sign a book and he like I had [12:40] no idea this book was even his so that [12:43] that's really what we walked into and in [12:45] some of it's Japanese culture right [12:46] they're not self-congratulatory they're [12:49] not people that will unlike you yeah I'm [12:52] always out my front yard with my shirt [12:54] off like just just flexing at everybody [12:56] that walks by but that that's that's [12:58] exactly it we didn't know what we were [13:00] walking into and I don't think that they [13:01] particularly knew what we were walking [13:03] into and it's just it's crazy how it's [13:05] all turned out and if I get through this [13:07] and the video ends up being good I will [13:09] be very very happy it's one of those [13:11] things [13:12] um you can retire your jersey finally [13:14] yeah I can hang up my my number zero [13:17] jersey for zero wins up in the rafters [13:19] and it'll get uh bird crap on it but [13:22] yeah I was I'm really I hope this turns [13:24] out well and it's one of the things I'll [13:26] look back on and if I could accomplish [13:28] this I did what I set out to do when I [13:30] started this and there's I mean there's [13:32] all other things to do clearly but that [13:34] was one of the things for me that was [13:35] super important I think really the next [13:37] step for us is to be a part of a [13:39] development process for your car earlier [13:41] on and get to show people in a [13:44] non-marketing BS way how something is [13:46] developed the trials and tribulations [13:48] from an oem because something that a lot [13:51] of the engineers tell us all the time is [13:53] that there's a huge disconnect from [13:54] people who love cars and people who [13:56] design cars and a lot of people who are [13:59] fanboys of cars or like certain models [14:01] don't fully appreciate how goddamn long [14:04] it takes to engineer a product I mean we [14:07] we sort of touched on it in our C8 video [14:09] and we've touched on it now in our [14:12] upcoming Mustang video but it takes [14:14] years of unbelievable amount of hours to [14:18] put something together it's not only [14:19] just designing the cards going back and [14:21] forth with you know thousands of people [14:24] on a team suppliers the government [14:26] manufacturing not only you have to [14:28] design something you have to be able to [14:29] build it and you have to deal with the [14:31] unions who build these cars and training [14:33] you know hourly employees to assemble [14:36] these things I mean it is vastly [14:38] complicated and I don't think people [14:39] fully appreciate it and how would they [14:42] without doing it themselves or at least [14:43] being able to visualize it and see it [14:45] for themselves let's be honest I don't [14:46] think I appreciated it until this last [14:49] year to be honest getting inside and [14:52] talking to some of the people that are [14:54] actually doing the work and then seeing [14:56] the difficulties of their job even you [14:58] know off the Record stuff you hear [15:00] stories from the people that are leading [15:02] projects and just it's their corporate [15:04] jobs right like you're one person in a [15:07] large team and the bigger than [15:08] organization the more red tape and when [15:10] you get these bigger vehicles that [15:12] management and then upper management has [15:14] to have their fingerprint on everything [15:16] and then the budgets right like the [15:19] budget part is is hilarious to me when [15:21] we've seen cars where there was no [15:23] budget like the Z06 had almost no budget [15:26] like they just had a a blank check and [15:28] that's why the guys are so excited like [15:30] what you saw and you said like look at [15:32] no budget is they had no money they had [15:33] unlimited no yeah that's what yeah [15:35] that's what I mean like a blank check so [15:37] they could do whatever they want and [15:37] that's why when you saw the engineers on [15:39] camera they're like they're they're [15:41] oozing everything they wanted to do they [15:44] finally didn't have somebody breathing [15:46] down their neck they got off the leash [15:47] and then you you see other projects [15:49] where you're like well why is this so [15:52] it's because we had five dollars yeah [15:55] like we literally had to pull it out of [15:56] here to put a big screen in the car and [15:58] that was the priority and that took most [15:59] of the development budget for this part [16:01] and it's seeing this on the back end and [16:04] understanding where the money is going [16:06] um you know in in in seeing like [16:09] production numbers two was another [16:10] interesting part of the Enthusiast cars [16:12] like I was editing the Integra video [16:14] today and I was going through all the [16:16] Japan Chinese stuff because there's more [16:18] St obviously on a Japanese car [16:21] you would think we would have all the [16:22] information but we never do but the [16:24] Japanese clearly said for fl5 Type R [16:27] their goal is to make no more than 400 a [16:29] month period that was their production [16:31] limit was 400 a month and nobody really [16:33] ever talked about that but then you see [16:36] that and you go to some of these other [16:37] esoteric cars or like specialty cars [16:39] it's the same thing for GR Corolla they [16:41] have a hard cap they don't even care if [16:42] they make more than that it's not about [16:44] building a lot so it's funny that we see [16:46] it on expensive cars that have become so [16:48] limited or serialized and now we're [16:50] seeing it on the budget like cars that [16:53] in my mind I'm still not wrapping my [16:55] head around like how the hell is like an [16:57] Integra like a specialty car now or a [16:59] Civic or you know like a Mustang even [17:03] um it's it's really strange place to be [17:05] in the automotive world and somebody I [17:06] saw a comment here does Mark even love [17:08] cars anymore like cars anymore and I'm [17:10] like I do my perspective is just [17:13] completely shifted on them though it's [17:15] not like how it used to be for me oh so [17:16] Jacob and Yuri the straight pipe says [17:18] well I talk about my Corvette and of [17:20] course 24 seven yeah I'm surprised uh [17:23] actually let me hear uh Jacob can you [17:25] talk about your Z06 too and your your [17:27] Fox body should you do that all right we [17:29] put the banner up go ahead all right [17:31] well you know why don't you put your [17:32] update about your Corvette so we can get [17:34] it out of the way you know it's it's [17:35] never seen rain I only take it to [17:37] nursing homes and I win and I get to [17:39] yell at Applebee's waitresses when I [17:41] pull my Z06 and I demand that they valet [17:43] park my car can you fit a lawn chair in [17:46] that thing uh yeah of course dude I I [17:48] can either fit my T-top or my lawn chair [17:50] in the truck what about both [17:52] I can't well you know [17:54] I I pull a Corvette trailer with my ZO6 [17:57] oh really yeah it's just incredible so [18:00] why don't you tell them about the real [18:01] story about your ZO6 because you had [18:02] some drama with that recently yes so [18:05] um in a moment of seriousness the the [18:07] problem with Corvettes is anyone who [18:10] owns a GM product knows is that GM [18:13] dealers are not always the most capable [18:15] and servicing said uh uh GM product as [18:19] you've probably seen on other uh from [18:21] other YouTubers who've owned z06s or own [18:24] them a lot of dealers can't deal with [18:26] their wheels and tires so that's [18:27] exciting took almost uh two maybe three [18:31] weeks to get one tire changed after one [18:33] wheel was destroyed by a dealer who [18:34] tried changing the tires so [18:36] you know it's uh it's exciting times so [18:39] what you are not getting when you pay [18:41] six figures for a Corvette is a [18:43] six-figure dealer experience that said [18:45] the service people are nice they're just [18:47] not used to necessarily dealing with [18:49] esoteric sports cars and I don't [18:51] entirely blame them they deal with [18:52] trucks and equinoxes all day and you [18:55] have some tech who doesn't get paid a [18:56] lot of money and some [ __ ] shows up [18:58] with a six-figure cars like fix it [18:59] they'll be like go [ __ ] yourself but [19:01] we're not talking about fixing it we're [19:02] talking about changing a tire yes fair [19:04] point so they couldn't change your tire [19:06] and then they damaged the wheel trying [19:08] to change the tire then they sent you [19:09] away like yeah [19:11] oh we couldn't do it and then in the end [19:13] they they replace the tire and the wheel [19:15] and another AFA helped Mount the tire [19:18] for them which was was exciting yeah and [19:21] like why don't you talk about AFA real [19:23] quick so if you do live in Illinois and [19:25] for the three people who who uh live [19:27] there because I think there's a lot [19:29] about okay yeah [19:31] um if you live in the northwest suburbs [19:33] and you need tires mounted or weird like [19:35] it's called performance work done or [19:37] service work done AFA performance in [19:39] Downers Grove has been our go-to shop [19:40] they've helped with a lot of the [19:42] five-way or basically any of the [19:44] comparison tests we've done they'll [19:45] mount the tires they do brake pads for [19:47] us when we don't have time to do it [19:48] ourselves or we're feeling too lazy [19:49] great job to work with it's a huge shout [19:51] out to them yeah definitely it's it's [19:53] one of those when you have cars and you [19:54] don't have time to work on them it's [19:56] like a load off when you have a place [19:57] this is not sponsored but this is [19:59] nothing it's not even really a plug I [20:01] just wanted to bring it up since you [20:02] talked about the tire stuff because [20:03] they've really gone and bend over [20:05] backwards because they love cars it's a [20:07] shop that actually the guys that do it [20:09] like cars they don't open until they [20:10] work their regular jobs they're I.T guys [20:12] then at 5 PM when they get off work [20:14] they're like you know what I want to do [20:15] with my evening I want to go work on [20:16] some junks yeah so they open up their [20:18] shop at like five or six pm and they [20:20] work till like midnight they go to work [20:21] the next day and restart it's crazy but [20:23] to be fair it's it's Enthusiast cars [20:25] mostly right they're not like I will do [20:27] anything oh they will do anything we'll [20:29] do anything I just feel like I always [20:30] see like BMWs and gr86s and all that [20:34] stuff there it's the I that's what their [20:36] specialty is and they're primarily a [20:37] referral shop okay oh cool anyway [20:40] um what else to talk about five [20:42] comparison Carlos we you got to cross uh [20:45] another one off the list yeah we got to [20:47] work with Carlos Lago who's every bit is [20:50] amazing in person as he is on camera [20:52] he's such a nice dude yeah that was one [20:54] I know a lot of people if you're a [20:56] little bit older you know I'm like now [20:58] that I hit 27 I just had my 27th [21:00] birthday and uh [21:02] you know when I was like four years old [21:05] I used to watch Motor Trend on YouTube [21:07] and he was like on there and I always [21:09] loved his relatableness it what he was [21:12] never do she he was just really matter [21:14] of fact and not I don't know not he [21:18] wasn't abrasive so I loved his approach [21:19] so it was kind of funny after all of [21:21] this time from him going to Car and [21:24] Driver we met him at a press event I [21:26] don't gr86 it was gr86 okay we met him [21:29] there and I just it was kind of weird to [21:31] talk to him and then he realized like [21:33] he's just a normal guy that likes cars [21:34] and works in the car industry it's it's [21:36] it was just as simple as that and I [21:39] don't know how you could I think you [21:41] reached out to him for this didn't you [21:42] yeah one of us did I think yeah I might [21:44] have and he said absolutely and he the [21:47] real gentleman drove all the way out [21:48] here uh was accommodating to our sort of [21:51] our workflow and he genuinely is a nice [21:54] nice guy funny and very professional [21:56] he's the perfect person to bring in for [21:58] a project he's so charismatic I mean [22:00] it's hard on video because you know like [22:02] he didn't do any of the film work and [22:04] stuff he just was like the personality [22:05] on there but I I feel bad that it wasn't [22:08] as you know I don't know it was a good [22:11] video to put him in honestly he was he [22:12] was not just a cameo or like that was my [22:15] goal with that is not just to make him a [22:17] third wheel or a fifth wheel [22:19] um to actually have him a part of it and [22:21] I know it's weird just throwing him in [22:23] but I felt like it worked pretty well [22:25] for her first time doing it and that [22:27] would be my idea of people like oh why [22:28] don't you collaborate and collaborations [22:29] are hard because to get somebody that's [22:32] on the outside in and namely like car [22:34] and driver right that's like a very very [22:37] structured old school even though [22:40] they're trying to change a lot of that [22:41] you still have to bring that brand in [22:43] and be safe to the brand and accessible [22:45] while still doing your own thing and I [22:48] felt like that was totally accomplished [22:49] with that video so I was very happy with [22:51] it [22:52] you could always do more it could have [22:54] been better in other ways but I really [22:55] enjoyed that one if we had more time I [22:58] think you know maybe incorporating a [23:00] street element of it I just felt that [23:01] using the track [23:03] allowed us to drive the cars at whatever [23:05] rate or Pace we wanted to so you could [23:07] simulate and we did what it was like to [23:10] putt the thing around right and no [23:12] traffic on the track and just sort of [23:13] enjoy the Dynamics of the car and also [23:15] go flat out and obviously we brought in [23:16] Brooke Casey who's been working with us [23:18] now for a couple years super good guy [23:20] racing instructor there former pro [23:22] driver and he said all the laps and [23:24] honestly that was getting him in and out [23:27] of every one of the cars after he set [23:29] his four or five laps and got us flyer [23:31] than remounting the camera here in each [23:33] one of the cars it took a lot of time [23:34] but the dude never complains and he [23:36] works really hard and he's as articulate [23:39] as he can be he doesn't do this for a [23:40] living right but he can speak to the [23:42] nuances of you know what a race car [23:45] driver is looking for in a vehicle like [23:46] that [23:47] um hopefully you guys enjoyed the video [23:49] because that was really for you guys as [23:50] much as it was for and on the back end [23:52] I'm just I I just want to cover this [23:54] real briefly for people that are [23:55] watching you know [23:57] um part people are like obviously I'm [23:59] starting to seriously my battery is [24:02] really low with this I'm like I'm [24:04] questioning a lot of this and some of it [24:06] is because to do what you want to do [24:09] like what I want to do that comparison's [24:12] a perfect example Jack is like always [24:14] like shooting much higher and that's [24:17] that's really how A lot of this happens [24:18] when you shoot higher and you push the [24:20] boundaries you do better stuff but at [24:21] the same time it's like we've hit a wall [24:24] or I have personally hit a wall where [24:26] you're throwing five cars at me you know [24:29] five cars with two people to film this [24:32] entire thing it's incredible that it [24:33] even got done and Chris Andrew Chin base [24:36] he does help logistically and and I got [24:38] to get him more involved with other [24:39] stuff too but you know essentially two [24:42] people doing the technical work and me [24:43] doing all the editing I sat down and [24:45] edited and I told Jack I'm like it took [24:46] me five days literally five days [24:48] straight because it's five Cars Plus lap [24:51] times plus all this other [ __ ] plus [24:52] trying to make Carlos look good and like [24:54] you know make sure he's happy and he [24:56] already looks good yeah it physically [24:58] looks good that's not an issue but you [25:00] know that it it it's not representing [25:02] bad but it's so much work it's not does [25:04] this what we're trying to do is not [25:06] designed for two people it's not and [25:07] we've been forcing this and then the [25:09] worst part is there is not the return [25:12] that there was on this the the costs are [25:15] really high the time is really high and [25:16] you know like from the business end [25:18] right like anybody that's done this and [25:20] I'm starting to really realize this it's [25:22] hard for Jack because he's like let's [25:24] get this thing let's get let's get in [25:26] he's great at it and then I have to do [25:28] the work on the back end I'm sitting [25:30] here thinking I'm like okay I spent 80 [25:32] hours in a week editing this and then we [25:35] probably spent me you and Chris [25:37] uh what 50 hours and shooting it and [25:40] then all the planning that was done [25:42] probably another 20 hours so you're [25:43] literally blowing three weeks of time [25:46] and overhead uh and Logistics Fuel all [25:49] that crap to shoot a video that comes [25:51] out one day disappears has a couple [25:53] hundred thousand views and maybe makes a [25:56] couple thousand so the the return is not [25:59] there when you look at these things like [26:01] oh it's cool but why didn't you do this [26:02] I'm like I sit there and think why did I [26:04] do this you know and there's still [26:06] somebody's like do you like cars and I [26:08] love cars I'm just trying to figure out [26:09] how to survive doing this [ __ ] the way [26:12] that we want to do it like trying to [26:13] trying to do more uh instead of just the [26:17] cardboard stuff because if I'm not if [26:18] I'm not doing this I really don't want [26:20] to do it I don't just want to shut stuff [26:22] out and it's so difficult now but [26:25] um I'm really really proud of some of [26:27] these projects that are coming up I [26:29] think not saying they're going to be [26:31] great but I'm really proud that we were [26:33] able to do it with the resources and [26:35] that the companies the companies [26:36] honestly he thought that we were worth [26:38] their time to devote resources and [26:41] energy and people coming out like the [26:42] NSX thing these guys came out of [26:45] retirement to come here and do [26:46] interviews because it could be the last [26:48] time they're all together on camera that [26:50] to me is the Pinnacle of this right like [26:53] that's the best it gets yeah when the [26:55] oems themselves are invested in uh the [27:00] projects you're doing and it's not just [27:01] some PR person phoning it in because [27:03] they need to talk about a product when [27:04] they actually care and hopefully some of [27:06] these projects we're going to do you get [27:08] that that vibe from the people involved [27:10] that they they give a [ __ ] it makes for [27:12] a much better [27:14] experience at least putting it together [27:16] I don't know how it translates to a [27:17] viewer and then some of the the pain of [27:20] this is you know I when I when we [27:22] re-watch the video primarily we're [27:24] trying to watch the video to make sure [27:25] there's no [ __ ] errors yeah and it [27:27] makes sense the enjoyment part doesn't [27:29] really exist on our own our own end it's [27:31] like [27:32] I don't really watch car videos outside [27:34] of a couple Outlets more because they're [27:36] my friends in real life yeah because I'm [27:38] hyper interested now so it you know it's [27:40] a weird place to be [27:42] um speaking of projects we bought [27:45] another long termer the the gr86 was [27:48] sold as we sort of alluded to a couple [27:50] months ago and then as a new long-term [27:54] or a lot of it because what you guys [27:55] asked us to do and I think the five-way [27:57] comparison sort of cemented it for me we [28:00] did the gr Corollas any long term we [28:02] worked with the same dealer in the same [28:04] town Toyota St Charles they they only [28:07] sell the locals and they're a no markup [28:10] dealer which is great they just don't [28:11] get a lot of cars because they're a [28:12] smaller dealer tremendous to work with [28:14] and the point of us doing the gr Corolla [28:16] is despite it finishing either fourth or [28:18] fifth in our you and I yeah fourth or [28:21] fifth in our comparo test I guess bread [28:23] too right and Brit [28:25] um it presents a vehicle that is you [28:28] know it's great on the street and it's [28:30] not necessarily great on the track due [28:32] to cooling issue and some Dynamic [28:33] problems but it's also one of the more [28:35] Simple cars on the test so I feel like [28:37] it's the perfect candidate to see if [28:39] modifying it with higher end dampers [28:41] breaks cooling solutions basic alignment [28:44] pads tires and wheels turns it into the [28:47] car that all the marketing and the [28:48] bravado from Toyota said it would be so [28:51] that's sort of the plan for this video [28:53] is unlike the gr86 but there really was [28:55] nothing wrong with that car you just [28:57] make it faster because you wanted to get [28:59] more out of it the gr Corolla does have [29:02] some genuine deficiencies so I feel like [29:04] this is one of those cars where I'm [29:06] actually genuinely really curious to see [29:08] if you can or I can turn it into that [29:10] car that I wanted it to be because when [29:13] we went to the launch program we drove [29:15] it in Utah and it was like 100 degrees [29:17] out so the car was already you know sort [29:19] of heat soaked as soon as you got into [29:21] his already pulling timing so it didn't [29:22] feel fast and you combine that with a [29:24] track that then [29:26] really play to its no it was like fun [29:30] you know it was like a Miata when you if [29:31] you have anybody's ever done eye racing [29:33] and you take the Miata on like Suzuka or [29:35] something like the cop car miati just [29:37] sitting there falling asleep and I'm not [29:39] saying you're falling asleep driving the [29:40] Jerry Corolla but you could literally be [29:42] foot to the floor on the entire track [29:44] there's no oversteer there's understeer [29:46] you can't get it to rotate no matter [29:48] what you do and if you really want to [29:50] try to Chuck it into a corner it just is [29:51] like it's so safe feeling that there's [29:54] something no Edge yeah there's no Edge [29:55] to it and that's not what we went in [29:57] expecting so when we did our comparison [29:59] test I think there and you saw this on [30:01] the forums people were a little bit [30:02] upset that we like the lap time was like [30:06] at the top but how is it possible that [30:08] the car was the worst and I think it was [30:10] a combination of factors that even [30:12] though the lap time was quick it wasn't [30:14] particularly that engaging to drive it [30:16] didn't feel like there was nothing going [30:19] on and we don't need the gr Corolla to [30:20] be fast we need it to feel fun to drive [30:23] and it just wasn't as fun as the other [30:25] cars and then on top of it the interior [30:26] not as good it's still expensive and [30:29] then to have Brit go out for what is [30:31] essentially three laps to come back [30:32] where it just goes into front wheel [30:33] drive mode only not saying not saying [30:37] that that can't be fixed but from the [30:40] dealership and buying a new car it's [30:42] kind of a it's a big disappointment it [30:44] is a big disappointment so Carlos's [30:46] point was the jira Corolla is best [30:48] bought As A Streetcar that you're [30:50] driving in all seasons putting snow [30:52] tires on it you can have fun in the [30:53] winter it's got a manual parking brake [30:54] you can do all the things that you want [30:56] as an all-wheel drive car and to me [30:59] that's going to be the Redemption when [31:00] Jack told me he was getting a gr curl [31:02] I'm like why don't why are you doing [31:05] this it's like you know we don't even [31:07] really like the car but at the same time [31:09] we've only driven it in conditions where [31:11] the best parts of it potentially are not [31:14] coming out so as Jack drives it and we [31:16] get it in inclement weather wet in the [31:18] winter especially the winter in the [31:20] midwest this might go from like okay [31:22] it's kind of sedate to it could be one [31:25] of the most fun street cars for the [31:27] price I don't know we'll find out but [31:28] that's the whole point of this I guess [31:30] the only other projects I want to [31:32] accomplish the Summers I want to do [31:33] something with some of our other friends [31:35] out there in the world like the straight [31:37] pipes either go out to Canada have them [31:40] out here shoot a project with them do [31:41] something with Annie the lab and of [31:43] course see something with everyday [31:43] driver and some other Mica yeah yeah [31:46] that's right yeah as well from uh Kelly [31:48] Blue Book [31:50] um I think it's time now that we answer [31:52] some of these lovely people's questions [31:55] and for those who have have asked [31:59] these are not shrimp they are lobsters [32:01] yeah Jack's got lobsters on his shirt [32:04] um [32:05] I don't even want to go there Jack all [32:07] right [32:08] so the very first question we got asked [32:10] this was before we even went live was [32:13] Zach Patterson what are your thoughts on [32:16] the new Lexus GX specifically in regards [32:19] to Future reliability of the new [32:21] powertrain V6 twin turbo [32:24] thank you by the way thank you very much [32:26] thank you very much [32:27] I am going to pull up the comments here [32:30] so I can see what the hell I can send [32:32] all my glasses on because I want to be [32:33] cool I don't want to be uh [32:35] he's asking about the new GX what do you [32:37] think go to the starred thing oh yeah [32:39] where's the star thing above right there [32:43] oh thanks [32:46] perfect uh Zach [32:49] um thank you for the five dollars and uh [32:52] we had our chance our first experience [32:54] with the twins turbo V6 was in the LS [32:58] uh the the Lexus LS and we talked to uh [33:03] the head mechanic who had been working [33:06] I don't even know what they call them [33:08] the he's he just does escalations at [33:10] this point he'd been a Lexus tech for 20 [33:12] years and he's worked on the five liter [33:15] the Kick-Ass five leader they have which [33:17] they never have to work on the v6s all [33:20] like all that stuff and he said yes the [33:23] new twin turbo is an absolute pain in [33:25] the balls to work on compared to the [33:27] other engines it's far more complicated [33:28] by Design it's not going to be like the [33:32] other engines because it's not the other [33:33] engines it's a Next Generation car much [33:36] like many brands that have you know [33:38] turbos and all the other electronics and [33:41] all the hoses and all the you know the [33:43] plumbing that the cooling and all the [33:45] crap that goes along into it and yes [33:47] it's not it it's probably going to be [33:49] reliable [33:51] um and it could be very reliable it's [33:52] just when it comes time to actually do [33:54] the work it's going to be a bigger pain [33:56] Point than the older cars and that's [33:57] what I'll say I don't think it's going [33:59] to be that big of a worry and with [34:01] Toyota as they Mass produce it more and [34:03] more and send millions of well I don't [34:06] know it will be in millions of cars [34:07] probably you'll have the part supply [34:09] where the the cost of these parts will [34:11] come down [34:13] um and it yes it's going to be more [34:14] labor to work on it but the parts aren't [34:15] going to be like esoteric and expensive [34:19] um so that should be the Saving Grace I [34:21] I think it's going to be just as [34:22] reliable oh they still have toys QDR [34:24] yeah exactly or quality durability and [34:27] reliability well that's what they said [34:29] their focus is so I mean I don't know [34:31] we'll see the LX though if the if the [34:33] g-axis is is substantially cheaper than [34:35] the LX the and it's a little bit more [34:38] rugged and definitely more that like [34:39] luxury off-roader where I know those are [34:41] the LX is trying to accomplish but in [34:43] the space the LX exists is so [34:47] you know it's so underperforming and [34:51] underwhelming compared to all the other [34:52] big body gun frame like luxury SUVs [34:55] someone buying an LX isn't buying an [34:57] Alex to go off-road like they would [34:59] maybe in the GX they're buying because [35:01] they want a pimp SUV and if you want a [35:03] big pimp SUV you buy an Escalade or some [35:05] you know some big body on frame [35:06] monstrosity to be fair the Lexus and [35:08] Toyota buying public is probably the [35:10] most unique buyers because they're not [35:13] buying traditionally for like you're not [35:16] going to see some guy uh like Greg with [35:19] his uh Forerunner right like he wants to [35:22] get another one it's like it doesn't [35:24] make any logical sense and you say like [35:26] oh why don't you get an X5 or something [35:28] like that like that has zero interest [35:30] you could be better in almost every way [35:32] but the drivetrain the reliability the [35:35] crap that's tried and true not crap but [35:37] the things that are tried and true about [35:38] Toyota just have a unique customer base [35:41] they don't value the same thing so I [35:44] think [35:45] although the GX and uh the TX and [35:48] whatever the hell they start naming all [35:49] these things I think they're still going [35:50] to have the good Toyota stuff they're [35:52] just they focus on different things than [35:54] the other luxury Brands and that's what [35:55] makes them unique yeah the problem with [35:57] Toyota's are better for worse is because [35:59] they are insular and some of their [36:02] approach they chase what they want to [36:03] and they're often on paper behind yeah [36:05] but you know their their buyers really [36:07] care I want to quickly go back to the [36:09] five-way comparison because as chin has [36:11] pointed out a lot of people asked why we [36:13] didn't include the Focus RS and how it [36:15] would have done in that test from a lap [36:18] time perspective I don't have a goddamn [36:19] clue I don't know I mean it has the it [36:22] has a huge horsepower advantage or not a [36:24] horsepower Advantage but it has a lot of [36:25] power it makes a lot of power it's got a [36:27] torque vectoring rear diff I I think it [36:30] would probably be right at the top of [36:31] the list in terms of drivability fun on [36:34] the track right like as we know we don't [36:36] like it as a streetcar for just it's an [36:38] old car right interior you know the way [36:40] they tune the suspension it rides the [36:42] complete ass it rides like ass because [36:43] it's not it wasn't designed for the you [36:45] know they didn't redevelop it for the [36:47] United States [36:48] designed for a German Market yeah so it [36:51] just they they didn't redo the [36:52] calibration they needed to do on the car [36:54] to make it more friendly for the US [36:55] which anyway it would have been really [36:57] good on track why we didn't include it [36:59] because we didn't have access to one and [37:01] it was also a much older car and we had [37:03] a relationship with the viewer with the [37:06] s209 Tom who's very very kind of giving [37:09] it to us in the process that that I said [37:11] to myself like we need a Subaru here [37:13] because everybody's like why didn't you [37:14] put the WRX it's a car you can buy now [37:16] that car is not in that same class it's [37:19] not it's been softened up it's just a [37:22] much it competes with the with the [37:24] previous side yeah it's more of an [37:26] outside competitor more of a GTI [37:27] competitor not the not the track Focus [37:30] car so the s209 like I wanted to put it [37:32] in there to represent Subaru because I [37:33] think it's the best car they ever made [37:34] and the rest is history sorry uh for the [37:39] Ford Fanatics maybe I'll try to get one [37:41] during our gr Corolla series to see if [37:43] it's better or worse well at least we'll [37:44] lap it maybe maybe just throw it on the [37:46] lap times try to find a day that's [37:48] similar in temperature and maybe get it [37:50] on the same tires for a leaderboard [37:52] perspective I know it doesn't mean much [37:53] and I don't care too much about that [37:55] either but maybe people would like to [37:57] see it in terms of like okay here's [37:59] here's our list of stuff yeah I I don't [38:01] even know what they're like from a used [38:02] perspective it's just not a car [38:04] to be entirely honest I've given a lot [38:06] of thought too I mean I went back and [38:08] recently when we before we did this Ford [38:09] thing with the the Dark Horse I I went [38:12] back and re-watched the Focus RS video [38:14] because I was curious to see how I did [38:15] it back in in the day and like what our [38:17] approach was [38:19] um and obviously A lot's changed but I [38:21] think in retrospect like again it's [38:24] experience and time if I would go back [38:27] to that car I would judge it far less [38:28] less harshly than I did during that time [38:31] period but in that time period I'm [38:33] thinking to myself I'm like [38:35] there's other cars there's other cars [38:37] that are have more thought given to them [38:39] they could do this better and now we [38:41] realize like nobody's really done it I [38:43] bought a Mustang GTA yeah exactly cars [38:46] were also cheaper then too you know [38:47] there was a lot more options we wouldn't [38:49] be having this debate [38:51] um so anyway it's different time [38:53] different areas cars next question Pavel [38:55] Jones thank you for the uh ten dollars I [38:58] got my fl5 in April congratulations for [39:00] getting an fl5 and it's been wonderful [39:02] Mark you are you planning to modify [39:04] yours like wheel suspension Etc also do [39:07] you know how long you're planning on [39:08] keeping your fl5 much love from from [39:10] Australia thanks Pavel I appreciate that [39:12] uh yeah and thank you for the ten [39:15] dollars so when I got the fl5 [39:18] the the short and long of it is I didn't [39:22] really I wasn't looking forward to [39:24] getting the car I got an allocation for [39:26] it and I'm like okay I drove it on track [39:29] during the Press event I'm like yes okay [39:31] I'm like this is one time when I'm like [39:33] okay I really like this car and then [39:34] when I got it I was like okay I got it [39:37] in the winter I didn't drive it and I'm [39:38] like it's set and then when it came out [39:41] of storage like in whatever March or [39:43] April I drove it around and I'm like I [39:46] really like this car more than I'd care [39:47] to admit I like looking at it I like [39:50] sitting in it I like driving it as a [39:52] daily driver is it a rear-wheel drive [39:54] car no is it ever going to be as fun as [39:57] some of that no but it doesn't have to [39:59] be I like that it's a real car so I [40:01] didn't want to mess with it and [40:02] unfortunately not unfortunately but we [40:05] wound up having to use it for two [40:06] comparison tests I didn't want to use my [40:08] own car for this stuff because every [40:10] time we use something like that's why we [40:13] use press cards because you don't have [40:14] the stress of it [40:15] you know I took it out first thing you [40:18] know I got a stain on the carpet uh I [40:20] know something else I got a scratch on [40:22] the steering wheel somehow I don't know [40:24] how it happened it probably was me [40:26] um I dropped two wheels off like almost [40:29] four wheels technically it was four [40:30] wheels but dropped two wheels off hard [40:32] when we when I was trying to set a lap [40:34] time in it when we were doing the [40:36] Integra stuff and you know I scratched a [40:39] wheel not the end of the world but this [40:40] is the stuff you know when you start [40:41] using these cars for this in mounting [40:44] cameras I scratch my tint on the [40:46] passenger window from the magnet mounts [40:48] like I have like six things wrong with [40:50] this car now just from using and filming [40:51] and I'm really really tired of having my [40:54] own cars getting messed up for the sake [40:57] of this outside of her camera right [40:58] outside of our camera cars right like it [41:00] just I want a car that's not are you [41:02] planning on modeling yeah I'm rambling [41:03] uh yes but not a lot I'm gonna do wheels [41:07] and tires brake pads uh I have Essex who [41:11] sent me their J hook rotors to replace [41:12] the original OEM rotor so I don't trust [41:14] trash those [41:16] um and I do want to do a custom Olean [41:20] Stamper for the car to get rid of the [41:22] Adaptive dampers but other than that I [41:25] really like the car as is so just Basics [41:27] like really minor brake modifications [41:29] again pads is the main thing I don't [41:30] even need to do the rotors uh Wheels [41:32] tires and then the dampers which I [41:34] basically do on all the cars I just [41:35] don't want to mess with anything I [41:37] really think the engine's good as is the [41:38] gearbox is good as is you just have to [41:40] change oil you know fluid a lot for the [41:42] manual trans like any Honda just super [41:45] enjoyable oh and the the pins before I [41:47] do suspension I'll pull the the pins out [41:49] of the struts to get more negative [41:50] camera in the front because it would [41:51] really help the car even if it's like [41:53] half a degree but yeah that's it I do [41:55] I'm not I don't want to get rid of it [41:57] but the only reason I'm gonna have to [41:58] get rid of it is if I start going broke [41:59] like I really that's the only way I'm [42:01] gonna have to sell it and I'll be really [42:02] sad to do that the next question we have [42:05] is from Mr foof82 it's 1978. [42:09] crossovers are 25 years out suggest me a [42:13] 5 000 pound eight mile per gallon Coupe [42:16] for personal luxury I deserve even if [42:19] it's a personal luxury Coupe in name [42:20] only props if the engine output is under [42:23] 30 horsepower per liter Lincoln Mark IV [42:26] oh dude I was going to give them the [42:28] 6000 sux [42:30] the science fiction car well that would [42:32] work too if if we lived in that yeah but [42:35] the 6000 su-x wasn't [42:37] in 1978 oh yeah for a point RoboCop was [42:39] in the 80s it was like 185. so you're [42:42] you're 10 years okay so if you're in [42:44] 1985 6000 sux if you're 1978 Lincoln [42:48] Mark IV that truck's almost had one [42:50] right yeah she had one a yellow one with [42:51] yellow interior it got four miles to the [42:53] gallon I think it made [42:56] I think four four yeah and I think it it [42:59] made holy [ __ ] [43:01] what the hell do you know what the [43:02] engine size of that thing was I think [43:04] that was four was it was it the XM [43:06] Valdez underneath the hood this is [43:08] really really funny actually let me look [43:10] this up uh [43:15] I got a laptop here I'm gonna go look it [43:17] up no she got four miles per gallon she [43:19] had to ever okay guess this engine size [43:21] of this thing [43:22] seven liters 7.5 liter of horsepower no [43:26] no that's the best part ready I gotta [43:28] find the horsepower I don't wanna I [43:29] don't wanna underrate it [43:31] holy [ __ ] come on baby [43:35] sorry I should know my horsepower five [43:37] liter V8 [43:38] two valves per cylinder rated at 365 [43:42] horsepower oh it made that much power no [43:45] that can't be right [43:48] the 460 carryover for Mark 4 f-197 read [43:51] it under one a numeric decrease this 212 [43:53] horsepower [43:58] 50 at 7.5 liters it hits the box for a [44:02] low displacement versus or high [44:04] displacement versus Power and then four [44:05] miles per gallon just you know keep that [44:08] carb clean man if you want better power [44:10] all right Mr foof 82 go buy yourself a [44:12] Lincoln Mark IV what color was your [44:14] mom's [44:15] my Grandma had a champagne color one a [44:19] rose with rose interior my mom had a [44:21] yellow on yellow [44:22] um [44:24] those things is that why you don't like [44:26] V8s now Mark let me tell you one story [44:28] about that card all right that's my dad [44:30] this is like a classic story this is [44:32] like the best thing that ever happened [44:33] to my family my grandpa had a stroke [44:39] no that wasn't the best that's not the [44:41] best part he had a stroke you know he [44:43] was he lived a fast life uh and he [44:46] constantly fought with my grandmother so [44:48] he had a stroke he just couldn't handle [44:49] her anymore [44:51] so she left them [44:54] after he was debilitated [44:57] so he got put in a nursing home [44:59] unfortunately for him and I remember [45:02] going to visit him and he he recovered [45:04] but he couldn't he could never really [45:06] walk again he had a walker unfortunately [45:07] where does this story get amazing the [45:09] story with the car it comes in it's [45:11] pretty cool [45:12] so he he regained some of his ability to [45:15] walk but he was you know he was screwed [45:17] up from it thank God he's cognitive [45:18] function he could think and every while [45:20] it didn't it didn't do any damage up top [45:22] but yeah my mom would pick him up to do [45:24] some family stuff and she he would get [45:27] in the front seat and it took forever [45:28] but the the that wheelchair and a walker [45:30] could fit inside this Mark for I mean [45:32] you could fit like three wheelchairs in [45:34] this thing he sat in the front seat [45:36] and because he couldn't swallow properly [45:38] he always had these nasty loogies like [45:40] he would constantly keep coughing up [45:42] like a handful of snot and me and my dad [45:47] are in the back seat and he has one of [45:49] his coughing fits on the highway he [45:50] rolls down his window we didn't have air [45:52] conditioning in the car he rolls down [45:54] the front window and he's coughing and [45:57] he caused this huge loogie out and my [45:58] dad was sitting by the the back window [46:00] and the loogie flies out my dad's like [46:02] desperately trying to do the ones on a [46:04] crank he's desperately trying to roll [46:05] the window this thing this snot globule [46:07] hits the window just as it's closing and [46:10] it's covered the whole side of the [46:11] window my dad's like oh [46:13] [Laughter] [46:16] I remember [46:17] Mike because I was so young I'm like [46:18] just to see his sheer Panic that was the [46:21] closest thing he ever came to to the the [46:24] the fear since he was probably in [46:26] Vietnam [46:30] that was really the only memory I had of [46:33] the the Lincoln I was sitting in the [46:35] back for that Masterpiece that's [ __ ] [46:37] incredible all right anyway that went [46:39] long but all right next uh Mr foof 82 [46:44] hope thank you again for the you got [46:46] your money he won you won trivia he gave [46:48] you five extra dollars for guessing that [46:50] card oh wow oh thank you sir you're [46:53] you're a good man is that the one he was [46:54] really talking about yeah bonus is [46:56] Promised Mark wow I would never get [46:58] they're ready per leader [47:01] I expected from someone in the heart of [47:03] my last country thanks Mark well Mr [47:06] foof82 you're more than welcome mark [47:08] thank you for for getting that trivia [47:09] right uh Jordan reader thank you for the [47:12] five dollar donation mobster thanks for [47:15] the two dollar donation thoughts on a [47:17] gently used condom business uh Jordan [47:19] thanks for the five bucks and um officer [47:22] I would not play with that that field at [47:24] all unless you're getting the condoms uh [47:27] from trusted sources uh [47:32] I would call me just call me after this [47:34] okay uh uh Paul uh uh Kim [47:41] anyway Paul thank you for the ten [47:43] dollars what are your thoughts comparing [47:44] the gr super manual to the current [47:46] Cayman GTS and the new Lotus Amira super [47:50] seems like a bargain at 40K or less I [47:53] you know it wouldn't say you guys super [47:55] for less than forty thousand dollars no [47:56] it's fine oh no forty thousand dollars [47:58] listening to the cards oh yeah I I would [48:00] be really surprised if the super wasn't [48:02] faster than the mirror around the track [48:03] I think it would be I bet you the super [48:06] is probably faster than they came in GTS [48:07] too you think so pretty close I bet you [48:10] just really cool alarmingly close I mean [48:12] the Supra makes so much power no okay [48:15] here we go let's let's okay you want to [48:17] know why it makes so much power mark [48:19] because the b-58 yeah that was like this [48:23] dude set you up for that [48:25] the Amira is a beautiful car I just [48:28] watched everyday drivers three-way [48:31] comparison between the Cayman GTS the C8 [48:34] Corvette a wonderful wonderful car built [48:37] in Bowling Green Kentucky and naturally [48:39] of course the Amira the Emira is [48:41] probably the most beautiful car you can [48:43] buy for under a hundred thousand dollars [48:45] our PR rep and I saw this question [48:48] earlier are we ever going to do in a [48:49] mirror maybe we were supposed to do a [48:50] mirror a year and a half ago it got [48:52] delayed three separate times we asked [48:55] the factory for footage they sent us [48:56] something shot on an iPhone it maybe one [48:59] day we'll do an Amira video but so far [49:01] the Lotus experience dealing with the [49:04] company is like I imagine how it's like [49:06] to own an actual Lotus and get it [49:08] serviced it is an interesting experience [49:10] there's two different Lotus mentalities [49:12] there's the people that live in the [49:14] where the Home Market where that car is [49:16] and thinks it's the best thing ever [49:17] probably because there's dealerships to [49:19] support it and then there's Lotus [49:21] Fanatics in the US that will make every [49:22] excuse for those cars because there's [49:24] nothing else like it [49:25] and that's really fair you know when I [49:28] had the Exige it was a special car until [49:29] I actually had to have it fixed and [49:31] that's what did it for me they just [49:33] didn't care they didn't you know it just [49:35] to me that's not a good that I don't [49:37] want a car where I can't get support on [49:39] it and you're gonna need support on it [49:40] and it's uh next even though it's not [49:42] really a Next Generation car it's an X [49:44] Generation car for Lotus and it's really [49:46] our only car they don't have a lot of [49:48] dealerships you're having five hundred [49:50] thousand dollar car problems like 300 [49:53] 300 000 car from like Ferrari [49:55] Lamborghini problems really more McLaren [49:58] problems in a hundred thousand dollar [50:01] car yeah if you can deal with that the [50:03] Amira is amazing nothing else like it [50:05] otherwise you know Supra versus Cayman [50:08] the Cayman GTs for a leader I met [50:10] someone who wants an Audubon driving [50:12] school and bought one Cars engines [50:15] amazing gearbox is great it looks good [50:17] it's gonna hold its value is it forty [50:19] thousand dollars better than the Supra [50:20] would you you don't like the Supra so [50:22] it's probably the wrong person asking [50:23] would you mind would you buy a Cayman [50:25] for the manual [50:27] I will buy in my current position I'd [50:30] buy a Supra because I think that what [50:32] you're getting in the GTS 4 liter even [50:34] though it's great is a lot of money it's [50:37] really a lot of money for what that is I [50:38] mean it's a great car though it's hard [50:40] it just depends on what if you have [50:42] disposable income and you can afford a [50:44] GTS 4 liter you're gonna buy that yeah [50:46] honestly a question and gentleman is [50:49] asked a couple times that is a non-paid [50:51] question and I'm sorry it's trying to go [50:53] through like super chat and regular [50:55] questions and I'm trying to make sure I [50:57] hit as many people as possible gentlemen [50:59] asked something about is an M2 or a [51:02] Supra a good like [51:04] first fast car [51:06] if you've never been in a performance [51:07] car before would you buy a like a super [51:09] hour or a M2 do you think that's too [51:12] much card at first like your first [51:13] performance go jumping right into an M2 [51:15] or yes it's too much if you're gonna [51:17] track it and enjoy it it's probably too [51:19] much car if you're just gonna drive the [51:21] street it's fine an M2 is a fast car oh [51:23] it's really it depends how old you are [51:25] and what your Driving Experience is but [51:26] you don't if you don't have a lot of [51:27] driving experience it's it's I would not [51:29] recommend it I personally I just I think [51:32] that car is you're asking for trouble if [51:34] you don't have any driving aptitude to [51:36] do it and yes there's a ton of [51:37] electronics it's not to say that that's [51:39] not going to save you but you're not [51:41] going to get a lot out of it if you [51:42] don't know how to drive that car so if [51:44] you buy either of those cars go do a [51:46] driving school immediately yes [51:49] um yeah don't don't I'm not saying don't [51:51] buy it I'm just saying if you buy that [51:53] car you better tune up your own driving [51:55] ability to to really do what you need to [51:57] do with it and you're just going to be [51:58] more safe too and you'll get to actually [52:00] enjoy your car [52:01] next question any word on the e92 M3 [52:05] after owning it asan Khan thank you for [52:07] the two dollars uh you know I go up and [52:09] back on that car and I think it's a [52:11] great car personally if you're gonna if [52:13] you really are passionate about and you [52:15] love it just buy one and keep it because [52:16] it's going to be probably you know like [52:18] everything else a collectible [52:20] um the the retrospect for me is I would [52:22] never buy one again [52:24] uh only because it's like it's the right [52:28] engine in the wrong car that's it that's [52:30] the best way to sum it up it just feels [52:32] like such a special engine in a car that [52:34] is just so cardboard [52:36] I know it's got great Dynamics and all [52:38] that stuff but really what that car [52:40] should have been is like 500 pounds [52:42] lighter it should have been far more [52:44] focused it should have been edgy and it [52:45] just feels like a boat like I don't know [52:48] how to put it it just there's something [52:50] wrong with like two different teams like [52:53] oh we got to put this V8 in here that we [52:55] have it's going to be amazing and the [52:56] engine is amazing but the car is so so [52:58] it's just I don't know that's how I feel [53:00] about it it's a hero it was a hero car [53:02] of mine in high school so like my my [53:04] dream car in high school was a 997 gt34 [53:07] lead not surprising you I grew up [53:09] watching Porsche's race but the other [53:10] cars like my dream obtainable car one [53:12] day I'll have an engineering job and [53:13] I'll be able to buy an e92 M3 I drove a [53:16] bunch of them in college as my friends [53:17] owned used ones and it was first car and [53:20] yours which I watched all of your [53:22] problems like I'm never buying one and [53:24] then I've driven modified them you know [53:26] Matt from obsessed garage I've driven [53:28] one of afa's cars and for how much money [53:30] they are now particularly used [ __ ] no [53:32] get something else and that's yeah and [53:34] that's the thing price is a big factor [53:36] like when I got mine I got mine at the [53:38] top of the market like it was way [53:40] expensive and that was like what forty [53:42] thousand dollars or something like that [53:44] that was expensive uh because I got a [53:46] 2013 but now like they've gone up by [53:49] another fifteen thousand dollars I think [53:51] right yeah like a really really clean [53:53] low miles one can be like 60 or 70 yeah [53:56] that's just not worth it no no if you [53:57] can if you could have got it in like the [53:59] thirty thousand dollar range and you're [54:00] gonna do rod bearings and all the other [54:02] crap that you need to do and then [54:03] suspension work and all that other [54:05] things that breaks of course you still [54:07] need to do brakes it's like you're [54:08] getting like an eco car that you have to [54:11] do like you won't get enough baby get a [54:13] new M3 get an E46 I think that's a more [54:15] special experience you go on an old BMW [54:17] pile you get a GT350 with the world's [54:19] longest warranty and roll the dice [54:22] Corvette I mean there's a lot of cars [54:24] for that kind of money the engine is [54:26] really special though like you're buying [54:27] that car for that I don't disagree uh [54:30] Brosnan in Paris thank you for the two [54:32] dollars why is there a limit on patreon [54:33] it doesn't make sense well we're bad at [54:35] managing patreon and I promise hand on [54:37] my heart that chin face and I Chris and [54:40] I will finally activate the Discord [54:42] after saying this for three years for [54:44] patreon and I will re-change the tiers [54:46] once again so more people can join it [54:48] just [54:49] patreon's amazing we couldn't at all do [54:52] some of our big projects without a [54:53] genuinely patreons why we can be like Oh [54:55] I'm gonna spend four thousand dollars to [54:56] shoot a video like that's the only way [54:58] we can do it is through patreon [55:00] otherwise he and I would be living in a [55:01] shoebox that's true and honestly I've [55:03] said this before but this is like these [55:05] past three months is the first time [55:06] where like when I cash out patreon to go [55:09] like it's critically important to the to [55:12] this operating because we've done so [55:13] many Big Brothers yeah it's it's [55:14] literally has to be there and without [55:16] that support this is done that's how bad [55:18] it is and not bad but you know what I [55:20] mean that's how important it is to us [55:22] right now so yes Jack will update it and [55:25] patreon is actually redoing their layout [55:27] and stuff to help with that so you can [55:29] see what things are easier so I think [55:31] it's actually a good time to do it and [55:33] like I get all these emails from patreon [55:34] all the time like we're making this [55:35] better we're making it easier for you do [55:37] you want to hop on a call do you want to [55:38] do this [ __ ] and it's like I'm gonna be [55:40] up till two in the morning tonight [55:41] editing the last thing I want to do is [55:43] Hop on there it's just a matter of time [55:44] it's it's we need it but we also need to [55:47] spend more time with that part and I I'm [55:49] not the world's greatest businessman but [55:51] I'm trying my best to maintain the [55:53] business side of things as well as [55:54] typically if you do deal with someone on [55:56] patreon and stock market it's me yeah [55:58] and I do my best I do look at every [56:01] single thing that comes on there [56:04] it's just it's hard it's just hard like [56:06] you've got you got to pick and choose [56:07] what you're actually doing and for me [56:09] it's how do I keep the content how do I [56:11] keep things going uh wild frames let's [56:15] start with hello hello wild frames thank [56:17] you for the five dollars BGN best car [56:20] views in the world thanks wild frames [56:22] yes I really appreciate it thank you [56:23] wild frames and thank you uh Bros in [56:26] Paris and Asha Khan and everybody else [56:29] thank you Ginger hermit thank you for [56:31] the 25 for one of those peanut butter [56:34] jelly wedges they're almond butter [56:36] because Mark is weak [56:38] I'm not going to get into why it's [56:40] almond butter I don't have a peanut [56:42] allergy Jack if that's what you're [56:43] getting at but uh it's not health [56:45] reasons really it's just a preference [56:48] and he's wrong peanut butter is better [56:50] uh sell uh Michael turning thank you for [56:53] the two dollar donation [56:55] uh who Scoops for ten dollars oh I like [56:57] this name selling my [56:59] 997.2 C2 six-speed and my 981 GTS six [57:04] speed sadly just totaled by hail any [57:07] suggestions for replacement trying for [57:09] sixty thousand dollars and Below fomer [57:12] M2 BRZ owner in M2 gr86 right now for [57:17] daily slash autocross and One Track day [57:19] a year [57:20] and the daily part makes it harder so if [57:22] you had sixty thousand dollars Mark what [57:23] would you buy [57:26] it's hard man [57:28] the problems you're coming from a 997.2 [57:31] C2 six-speed like a really great Porsche [57:34] and a 991 GTS six-speed also a really [57:37] great Porsche getting into an M2 and [57:39] coming from before show you're gonna be [57:40] like oh man [57:42] I just downgraded but you're gonna need [57:44] to drive both um to see it's m2cs or M2 [57:47] competition M2 comp oh M2 comp I would [57:49] take the gr 86 [57:52] I know that's so weird but it's going to [57:54] be the most it's going to be the slower [57:55] car but it's going to have the same good [57:57] feeling of the Porsche in some ways and [58:00] the the porschos yeah I hate to say it [58:03] too I mean if you want a real driver's [58:05] car the gr86 is probably I mean it's [58:08] gonna feel like a [ __ ] box compared to [58:10] those two Porsches you're getting out of [58:11] and the engine's gonna feel like a [58:12] garbage can because it kind of is a [58:14] garbage engine [58:15] but yeah and if you want a driver [58:17] connection it's the best car for a drive [58:19] for other than like a Miata that's like [58:21] but you're gonna have to do tires and [58:23] stuff like you have to literally do [58:24] tires and GT350 with a really long [58:26] warranty when it blows up don't message [58:28] me [58:30] drive them both drive them to [58:32] competition in the gr 86 and you're [58:34] gonna know right away like you're gonna [58:35] know what talks to you more and I'm sure [58:37] that the power is going to talk to you [58:39] C7 Grand Sport that's another car if you [58:41] were just dealing and you came in the [58:43] c7s are I think I've sold mine at 2019 [58:46] which is the most desirable year in [58:48] color for like 62 Grand so you're right [58:50] there that car is amazing like I'm I [58:53] many ways still prefer the C7 over the [58:57] Z06 the current one the manual is not [59:00] the best but it's a manual you feel like [59:02] you get some of the old car feel out of [59:04] it because it's really you know just an [59:06] iteration of a C5 you're not going to [59:08] talk to you're not going to talk a [59:09] Porsche owner that's looking at a German [59:11] car and a grd6 into a Chevy but it [59:14] wasn't built in Bowling Green turkey [59:15] where was I born built no their car [59:18] those cars weren't this this car oh yeah [59:21] oh I see it was built by America's [59:22] Finest crafts you know what's funny I [59:24] was thinking about the ss1le when he was [59:26] saying that because that would have been [59:27] another option yeah it's a badass ZL1 is [59:30] a badass card see that car is hilarious [59:32] yeah but you're talking about it's [59:34] probably not in this you know it [59:36] wouldn't be in on in my radar either [59:38] Fair Point hopefully that helps who [59:40] Scoops will Matt thank you for the five [59:42] dollars my grandma Tess drove a stelvio [59:44] quadrifoglio and loved it but it's been [59:46] going back and forth between the Julia [59:47] and Sylvia what would your what's your [59:49] opinion would your grandmother sounds [59:51] like a badass by the way yeah that's [59:52] kind of a weird thing like do you want [59:54] an SUV or a sedan no the grandma wants a [59:57] quadrifoglio that's what I'm saying but [59:58] a stalvio or a Julia are two totally [60:01] different cars like if you don't need [60:03] the space like if you don't need the SUV [60:05] the Julia is way better that's one of [60:08] the coolest sedans in the world like by [60:10] a long stretch like I know you never [60:12] drove it no I did oh I did I drove it I [60:14] wrote America and I lost brakes that's [60:16] right okay as a streetcar I would take [60:19] the Julia let's just leave it there yeah [60:21] the Julia is super cool and it sounds [60:23] good yeah you roll down the windows and [60:25] then just hear that thing rip oh [60:28] Michael turning thank you for the one [60:30] dollar super sticker once again [60:32] oh and he's asking how old I am I am [60:35] 735. [60:37] now I'm 28. where did you see this [60:39] question it's down here Michael turn him [60:41] he just answered you know he managed to [60:43] ask a question at the same time oh I see [60:46] I have like multiple versions of her [60:47] stream coming up including regular [60:49] questions don't ever say that to me [60:51] again so I'm horrible alphabach Brackley [60:53] you are a gentleman sir long time patron [60:56] of ours for 223. if the NSX video [60:59] succeeds a Prelude video next year I [61:03] would love to do a Prelude video I know [61:04] you would I'd like to do the Prelude [61:06] before the last one not the last I don't [61:08] even know what Geno is the not the sh [61:11] all-wheel drive with what the hell did [61:13] they call it no not always drive sh [61:15] super handling yeah but what the hell do [61:18] they call it it was something else [61:20] anyway not that one the previous one [61:22] where it had the electrical elimination [61:23] Dash across the whole Center that's [61:26] that's the premium one we are Scott at [61:29] King Motorsports has continues to offer [61:30] us his K cars we are going to do a k-car [61:32] video Yeah and those are badass that's [61:34] going to be a hilarious video I look t [61:37] for five dollars any updates on the [61:39] Mazda 3 I bought one I'm very pleased [61:41] one point five thousand miles later [61:44] wanna hear keep hearing your experience [61:46] and thanks experiences thank Jen thanks [61:49] gents wow I just had a stroke like your [61:51] grandma your grandma yeah you're gonna [61:52] spit on me now [61:54] um so the Mazda 3 long-termer is mine [61:58] Mark has the MDX we're both getting to [62:00] the end of our tenure with these cars [62:02] I'm shooting that sort of wrap-up video [62:04] uh in next week I've put 14 [62:09] 000 miles and as a sort of disclaimer my [62:13] my girlfriend put most of the miles on [62:15] that car because she's in medical school [62:16] she did her rotations in it and I've [62:18] driven it a lot we've serviced it I [62:20] think this will be probably the most [62:21] comprehensive look I can do [62:23] in six months we put as many miles on [62:25] this thing as possible but a Year's [62:26] worth of miles in six months I talked to [62:28] dealer tax figure out what breaks on [62:30] them and it's not a bomb proof car there [62:32] are problems with it [62:34] hopefully you like it in the end [62:36] um it's a great car though I think it's [62:38] a car that the more time I spend in it [62:39] you know initially I was sort of down on [62:41] it but now it's a car that I get into [62:43] like I drove it here I drove an hour to [62:45] get here and I'm like [62:47] I don't think about it it's a great like [62:49] pseudo luxury car that looks good it's [62:53] comfortable enough Nimble enough and [62:54] it's not like a car that you ever I'm [62:57] like man I don't want to be in this [62:58] thing yeah I think of it as like as [63:00] we've done this comparison I thought of [63:01] it more as like a good GTI competitor [63:03] it's it's like the layout compared to [63:06] the golf is so much more intuitive and [63:09] it just feels so easy and effortless to [63:12] use that car on the inside [63:14] um and if you don't need the space part [63:16] like if you don't need you know a big [63:17] back seat and a huge hatch space like [63:19] some of the newer cars it is it's a [63:22] special car in its segment it just you [63:24] know again there's trade-offs Mazda [63:26] needs you know they don't have unlimited [63:27] money otherwise it would be even better [63:29] but it's a really good car for what they [63:31] set out to do [63:32] actually you want to know how old I am [63:34] Mark I'm b-58 [63:36] oh yeah yeah that's how old I am that's [63:38] an amazing comment in the regular [63:39] comments just that's how you I mean if I [63:41] had time I would have Aid you this whole [63:43] thing uh AJ for 220 Canadian [63:48] um Genesis [63:50] G80 V8 or Genesis G80 V8 so 2013 or 2015 [63:57] G80 [63:59] the Genesis wasn't [64:00] the 2013 wasn't a Genesis was it wasn't [64:03] a G80 in 2013. whatever the VA Genesis [64:06] was in 2013. the first one didn't that [64:09] motor of a ton of problems wasn't it I [64:11] don't remember no it was a Genesis you [64:13] could do the regular Genesis sedan which [64:15] was a Hyundai had a V8 in 2013. I knew a [64:18] friend of mine in [64:19] I know yeah I know I didn't think I [64:21] didn't think it wasn't a j they didn't [64:23] switch over to the G G80 moniker until [64:25] like [64:30] anyway if you're gonna I don't know when [64:32] they cut it off because they made [64:33] revisions to that engine and I don't [64:35] remember when they made the revisions [64:40] sorry you know we gotta get on here it's [64:42] 100 it was just called a Genesis in in [64:44] 2013. but yeah it wasn't a Justice [64:47] yeah the first one versus the later like [64:50] the 2015 V8 what would you get [64:52] uh they made improvements from the [64:55] previous gen to the new one and then [64:56] they made updates again so the the [64:58] engine got changed three times and then [65:00] the trans got changed like probably yeah [65:01] this is the body style for the 2015. [65:06] personally I I'm I would just say 2015 [65:09] because I think it's a far superior car [65:11] it's on the a way better platform it's [65:14] like the platform is like night and day [65:16] better so just go with the 2015 [65:19] um and just be ready just in case have a [65:21] warranty on that engine [65:23] it's a great car though I love it Andy [65:26] and Abby the lab it's pleasure seeing [65:29] you guys both Joe and Deb [65:31] paying for Jack and Mark to hold hands [65:33] to the rest of the stream I will I will [65:34] grab Mark's hand right now the reason [65:37] the way I met Mark was that a singles [65:40] pottery class that's really how I did it [65:42] I wonder when do we have to stop holding [65:44] hands oh we have to hold hands for the [65:45] rest of the stream sadly uh your T [65:48] levels are too high for me and I have to [65:49] use my other hand so I'm gonna take it [65:52] back Andy and Abby the lab I'm sorry I [65:54] can't these dogs all they want to do is [65:57] touching all these dogs want to do is [66:00] cuddle and leave their hair everywhere [66:01] how could you have two animals like that [66:05] that you spend 90 of your life cleaning [66:07] up here [66:10] [Laughter] [66:13] yeah my T levels went up I started [66:15] shedding and now I don't have to deal [66:16] with it again now those those two [66:19] woofers Andean which is the one that [66:21] mauled me [66:22] uh I think it was it was Abby Abby yeah [66:25] it was sitting on the couch and [66:27] and Abby came up to me because she was [66:29] not trained properly and she clawed my [66:32] leg right through my jeans and I had a I [66:36] have a scar on my leg from that animal [66:37] now I can't be a model for the the [66:40] Kirkland catalog uh Colin nikritz for [66:44] seven dollars uh well thank you Colin [66:47] for your seven dollar donation thank you [66:49] Colin and thank you you had a question [66:51] yeah Jack would hold hands Mark uh I [66:54] would hold hands with you the whole [66:55] stream if you were the b-58 I would just [66:57] stroke you the whole time I should have [66:58] had a b-58 model here oh [67:02] um [67:03] Rick cule [67:05] uh wait what is this Mark no Arby's beef [67:08] and Cheddars blasphemy if you ask me [67:12] yeah I thought about ordering it I [67:15] really because I needed food because I [67:16] haven't eaten any of the peanut butter [67:17] and jelly sandwich wound up coming [67:19] because I can't you know [67:23] I want broke my all my gift cards ran [67:26] out [67:27] um Rick thank you for the 10 donation [67:29] noodles extra MSG it's an amazing name [67:33] thank you for the two dollars one is the [67:35] AI Jack uprising [67:38] uh the last AI Jack was out of control [67:41] in the last video which was probably one [67:44] of the most [67:46] physically exhausting videos I ever made [67:48] the Ram 2500 Ram video that three people [67:51] watched yeah check out the Jack AI in [67:54] that video if you want to see the future [67:55] of where he's going [67:57] um and I'll just leave it at that uh [68:01] Andy and Abby again for twenty dollars [68:04] what's with these animals what do they [68:06] want from me thank you Joe and Deb when [68:08] is the Carlos goson interview gonna [68:10] going to go in Live Well I I too have to [68:13] get smuggled into Palestine [68:20] I can't remember all this useless [68:23] knowledge anyway you know who I I will [68:27] figure out a way for us to get sponsored [68:29] for like 10 million dollars and we will [68:30] do a documentary on the Murano cross [68:33] Cabriolet and we will fly to whatever [68:35] country he lives in we won't survive [68:37] that [68:38] do you think his wife's gonna kill no no [68:40] we will get executed if we do [68:43] it's not worth it for a Nissan uh I [68:46] don't want to do it uh 10 for two [68:49] dollars uh why don't you guys or if you [68:52] review the Ford Taurus Show [68:55] I'm going to be honest which one the the [68:58] 2010 one the one that people think not [69:00] the Conan O'Brien one but the the 2010 [69:03] one the Yamaha one or the new one the [69:04] new one EcoBoost the one with EcoBoost [69:06] uh you know what funny enough Scott had [69:10] a guy that came in who was a viewer and [69:12] he reached out like six or seven [69:15] different times and this is when I was [69:17] like really getting started with this [69:19] stuff and it just it never happened [69:22] um [69:23] so yeah I don't know that it's gonna [69:25] happen I'd be curious to do the old one [69:27] more personally for me just because of [69:30] the I think it would be funny [69:32] and I could pretend to be robocup it [69:34] just they wouldn't survive your driving [69:35] oh no [69:38] dude you'd rip the shifter right out of [69:40] that column it would just rip off in [69:42] your hand the dude 365 continuing the [69:44] tradition of donating to Mark's [69:46] washboard abs yeah thank you by the way [69:48] thank you Tim thank you Deb and uh Deb [69:51] and Joe and thank you noodles extra MSG [69:54] Rick and now we're dealing with the dude [69:57] 365. are you gonna get washboard abs [70:03] so I was looking at his uh his Avatar uh [70:06] did I am I gonna get washboard Rams I [70:08] already have washboard yeah that's why [70:09] you lost your hair all your teeth you [70:11] can't see my six-pack I'm sorry eight [70:13] pack under all this hair that I'm [70:14] wearing on my chest [70:16] that's by that's on purpose because [70:18] really I'm having trouble with all our [70:20] female fans lately recognizing me I'll [70:23] go places and they're like they call the [70:26] cops because they think I'm a serial [70:27] killer [70:28] there's this creepy guy walking around [70:30] the [70:31] the ice cream shop again the Cloudy view [70:35] uh for ten dollars thank you cloudy [70:37] gotta add them sponsors we are working [70:38] on it we are will we are going to try to [70:41] get an actual outside of Dell we're [70:43] probably trying to get an automotive [70:44] base sponsor this here thank you though [70:46] we are doing our best to make sure this [70:49] channel still continues to make [70:50] Financial sense I'm going to need a [70:52] sponsor for all my uh Scoops yeah [70:54] foreign sponsorship that would be my [70:57] dream no it had to be a real ice cream [70:58] place that's like corporate no I [71:00] wouldn't want to do corporate I'd want [71:02] to do something like so my old man is a [71:05] ice cream connoisseur like a genuine ice [71:08] cream connoisseur and he will tell you [71:09] about the different ways they're made [71:11] and what places he should go to or what [71:13] places you should you should go to [71:15] apparently his favorite place in this [71:18] area is graters which is surprising oh [71:20] yeah yeah he loves the uh the one [71:22] graders location in like Northbrook I [71:24] don't have to head over there yeah all [71:25] right Oleg thank you for the twenty [71:27] dollars thank you uh Graham Daughtry [71:31] thank you for the ten dollars I have a [71:32] launcher and manual and love it I have [71:34] an opportunity to buy a new RS3 and MSRP [71:37] do uh should I do it I can afford it [71:40] will primarily be my daily [71:42] if you can afford the new RS3 is a [71:44] badass car as a daily not as a track car [71:46] but it's a daily uh I'm behind here [71:49] thanks Andrew for the 10. I really [71:51] appreciate it thanks for sticking in [71:53] here and then of course Oleg thanks for [71:55] the the twenty dollars [71:57] um and that your your avatar has [72:01] a really Kick-Ass motorcycle jacket that [72:04] I would look good in [72:06] I'm sorry and uh Graham let's do it [72:11] sorry what's what's the RS3 should you [72:14] buy should he buy an RS3 he can afford [72:16] it [72:17] would you say it's a substantial enough [72:19] upgrade over on a launch around yes I [72:22] agree the RS3 the engine I don't care [72:24] about anything else but the engine is [72:25] great you get it I've this is one car I [72:27] haven't told you about that I thought [72:29] about getting an RS3 yes because because [72:32] the engine I really love that car for [72:34] whatever reason is like it's like the [72:36] same reason I like the type R because [72:37] it's a normal car with an amazing engine [72:39] and you can do everything with it it's a [72:41] little You could argue it's a little [72:42] small and a very expensive for what it [72:45] is but it is a special car if you can [72:46] afford it get it in [ __ ] green lime [72:49] green and then tear it up come peel down [72:52] my neighborhood and drive through the [72:53] grass and then flip me off like an Audi [72:56] driver and I'll salute you sir you know [72:58] on the track it's a bit numb I will say [73:00] you will feel like you've lost some feel [73:02] who cares yeah you have the engine the [73:05] five the five cylinder is pretty [73:06] spectacular yeah just put some stinky [73:08] tires on there and figure out how to get [73:09] more cambers and you're not driving it [73:12] on the track you're driving down the [73:14] street at 200 miles an hour [73:17] uh [73:18] tsukia for twenty dollars thank you for [73:21] the twenty dollars and Graham hopefully [73:22] that answers your question when are we [73:25] getting a Lotus Emir review I don't know [73:27] if so when things have an amazing [73:29] content one day I I've already talked [73:32] about this in this live stream once like [73:35] a year and a half ago a year ago we [73:38] approached Lotus they said yes then they [73:40] said no and then they tried to get into [73:41] the car in three separate times and now [73:43] they only have two in the entire United [73:44] States on the west coast I'm not going [73:46] to California to do [73:48] car [73:49] I'm not I'm not going out of my way I'm [73:54] gonna drag you in my luggage to go and [73:55] now I just don't care yeah I think it's [73:57] getting burned three separate times by [73:59] lotus trying to put this together it [74:00] means I just don't care as much [74:02] um that's the thing like I don't want to [74:04] do it unless they want to do it and they [74:06] don't want to do it so I'm not gonna [74:07] waste my time I got other I got the I [74:10] got dibs on the new rogue update [74:12] [Laughter] [74:15] um the other part of it too is I think [74:17] the thing that burned us is we had [74:18] friends who worked at the Lotus dealer [74:20] here and hearing what they were like to [74:21] deal with from a corporate perspective [74:23] you know you're like Gibran good good [74:27] dude you know loves cars we'll put up [74:29] with a lot of [ __ ] but you know he's in [74:31] a position because he owns multiple cars [74:33] despite buying a car 100 Grand you know [74:35] he has deeper Pockets than that that for [74:37] him if it goes down it's not a big deal [74:39] if you're a regular person who's put [74:41] together his his ducats to buy uh a [74:45] Lotus of mirrors that final like this is [74:48] the car I always wanted you're buying a [74:50] hundred thousand dollar car that you're [74:51] not going to be able to get parts for [74:52] your your dealer experience is gonna be [74:54] a joke if you even have a dealer locally [74:57] it's gonna be a huge pain in the ass [74:58] like it's sad because I love the way the [75:00] car looks I everyone I've met who's [75:03] driven it says it's you know navora it [75:05] means it drives great [75:07] you know it's hard to be like yeah buy [75:09] it unless you have a high tolerance for [75:11] BS [75:12] yeah that would be like my fourth car or [75:14] fifth car I think if I had to have one [75:16] and I wouldn't care if it broke because [75:17] I would never drive it [75:20] mk3504 thank you for the twenty dollars [75:22] I have learned a tremendous amount from [75:24] this channel love you [75:26] um that was the point of this right is [75:27] to teach people things about cars [75:30] and uh [75:32] sorry [75:34] Suka thank you for the 20 and the the [75:37] the Lotus of mirror review I and when I [75:39] do when this does happen by the way to [75:41] be serious if they if we do reconnect [75:43] with them and they're gonna willing to [75:45] give us resources other than just being [75:46] like fly in your own dime to California [75:49] and do a great video for us so we can [75:51] Market this car if it's not that I will [75:53] do it because I really do I love The [75:55] Vora I'm sure I'm gonna love the Amira [75:57] for what it is [75:59] um and in terms of [76:01] mk3504 I've he's he's obviously learned [76:05] a lot because I'm on this channel [76:07] thank you I appreciate it oh my God [76:10] because of me or it was everything [76:13] unless they're speed routing through [76:14] this because we have 10 billion [76:15] questions and I promise that I wouldn't [76:16] be here till the end of time Jonathan a [76:19] boot for 10 11 Canadian time to treat [76:22] myself with a toy option one Audi R8 [76:24] with gated manual would like your [76:26] opinion V8 versus V10 in terms of value [76:29] proposition experience option two Lotus [76:31] Samira would you look at that another [76:33] Lotus Amira question Audi V10 R8 V10 [76:36] done deal easy that car is [ __ ] [76:39] amazing the engine [76:41] whatever deficiencies that car has with [76:44] interior and all the other stuff that [76:46] that engine is a special experience and [76:48] as soon as you wind it out on a road and [76:50] you're cruising around you're not going [76:51] to care about anything else that 3.5 [76:54] liter Toyota engine doesn't matter how [76:57] they make the exhaust sound is not going [76:59] to match it nor is a V8 although the V8 [77:02] is also very good and the V8 and the V10 [77:05] both go click clack when you shift [77:06] because it's gated shifter I think the [77:08] R8 with the manual is cooler than the [77:10] Lotus Amira by far I mean maybe it [77:13] doesn't look as cool but I don't know [77:15] yeah I mean they're both really good [77:16] looking cars but yeah the V10 is going [77:19] to hold its value anybody that has money [77:20] is going to want a V10 or if you've got [77:23] a coupe with a manuals V10 [77:25] you could put miles on it it probably [77:27] sold that's all this value it's just [77:29] going to be a maintenance [ __ ] for sure [77:30] Andrew Ellis [77:34] um thank you again for that thank you [77:35] for the five dollars would you care to [77:37] share how you capture such high quality [77:39] audio it's a eyed all our audio is AI [77:41] yeah it's all yeah it's perfect yeah [77:44] we're not even here people yeah we've [77:46] been Auto generated by the Auto industry [77:48] and the Computing Computing industry [77:50] right now we're on a high compute [77:52] cluster running at 20 teraflops a second [77:55] the way we capture audio is through a [77:58] lot of effort this [ __ ] is like I [78:00] need to capture audio he's out there [78:01] with a microphone for like four hours [78:03] he's like Jack more I need more like [78:06] it's see Jack has the idea in his head [78:08] of what he wants to do but because I [78:10] have to edit it I know what it takes [78:12] well mostly what it takes to try to get [78:14] stuff done and when you actually have to [78:16] do the work of recording it I see one [78:18] Jack's on the card going back and forth [78:20] I just see the life sucking out of him [78:22] like Jack I need you to do it again he [78:23] drives by like so angry just like I [78:26] don't wanna do it again so it is it's a [78:30] combination of so here's the trick I'm [78:32] gonna tell you this you need to have [78:34] microphones that are high or low [78:38] sensitive look have a lower sensitivity [78:40] that don't blow out if you're if you [78:44] have a microphone that's too sensitive [78:45] it's going to clip whenever you do [78:47] anything so you need to make sure that [78:48] and they always need to be at the lowest [78:50] setting possible once you have all of [78:53] that you need to make sure that you have [78:54] good stereo Separation on them so it's [78:57] not just a Monaro is fine but if you [78:59] have a monorail mic then you need stereo [79:01] mic something to left and right and cut [79:03] it together and then really a lot of it [79:05] once you have the recording a lot of it [79:07] is just editing you have to be creative [79:09] enough of like how do I splice it [79:10] together and you'll see this Integra [79:12] video coming up [79:14] um I can't play it for you right now but [79:15] when you see the entire video look at [79:17] the beginning sequence and you'll see if [79:20] you Stripped Away and just listened to [79:21] the audio it's just a lot of clever [79:23] editing of like okay I have all these [79:25] sound clips and I'm gonna puzzle piece [79:27] them in how do I get them to sweep over [79:29] how do I get them into rear channel [79:31] because it's YouTube's two channel like [79:32] how do I get them to sweep to the back [79:34] channels if you have surround sound like [79:35] to give that effect of spatial less and [79:38] I also started cheating and using a [79:39] spatial mic as well which really helps [79:41] that experience but anyway think in your [79:44] head of what you want to see and what [79:47] you want to hear and how you would put [79:48] the sound in and it doesn't have to be [79:50] one-to-one it can be like creative and [79:52] that's that's how it works I'm not [79:54] saying I'm the best person at doing it [79:55] but a lot of it is just how do I make [79:58] something that's not the greatest into [80:00] something way better and that's how I [80:01] approach it Merrick D for fifty dollars [80:04] Mary thank you very much for the fifty [80:05] dollars love you guys my favorite sub on [80:08] YouTube when will you review the new [80:09] Lexus TX [80:12] I don't know that just got announced in [80:14] it yeah typically I mean we're we try to [80:17] be on everyone Alexis [80:19] um press launches we'll definitely go to [80:21] that one [80:22] um if you have any you know huge [80:25] questions about it find Mark or i on [80:27] Instagram and hit us up and we will do [80:29] our best to make sure we address those [80:31] questions on our review [80:33] and again Merrick thank you very much [80:35] for the fifty dollars Merrick it's not [80:37] marriage [80:38] excuse me why don't you use it properly [80:40] you don't ever slob jeans cooking over [80:43] there [80:44] it's Mark his name's Mark if you wanted [80:48] to ruin it for him oh hey Mark hey Mark [80:51] no thanks man I appreciate uh as soon as [80:53] we get it usually we didn't we're [80:54] probably not gonna I'm not gonna go to [80:55] the launch for it but personally for me [80:58] I'm really interested in it because the [81:00] grand Highlander is kind of like it's [81:01] cool but I'd like to have the Lexus part [81:04] of it so I think it's going to be great [81:05] especially when they actually get real [81:06] what your big complaint was what can you [81:09] do with standard dampers on the grand [81:10] Highlander you're stuck with [81:12] non-adaptive dampers and that's [81:13] something the Lexus is gonna fix this [81:15] ride quality hopefully it doesn't wallow [81:17] and Bob I mean even it does it'll have a [81:19] comfort mode but it'll ten to one it's [81:21] gonna ride a lot better than the grand [81:22] Islanders so I'm kind of excited for [81:24] that Michael turning thank you for the [81:25] five dollars Dale mcloyd will when will [81:28] you review the cx-90 [81:30] we have put this will be the longest [81:32] cx90 video that anyone puts out with [81:34] like four hours interviews I just [81:36] finished shooting b-roll in a second [81:37] cx90 because the first one we got sent [81:39] was a pre-pro and there's something [81:41] wrong with it see I mean we we've [81:44] already reviewed it we've we've shot the [81:46] video now it's just up to us editing it [81:48] our goal is to have it out sometime this [81:50] month so the the story was is Jack went [81:52] to the launch he got all the interviews [81:53] that's what he focused his time on and [81:54] there's a lot [81:55] and then we're like we need the car [81:57] separately so we could do it so we got [81:59] the car and it it wasn't right there was [82:01] something wrong with it and we know this [82:03] is a pre-pro card yes so it's not [82:06] accurate to the car we told them like [82:07] we're not gonna do a video on this car [82:09] because we don't want them to we don't [82:11] want to hurt the car if that was just a [82:13] one-off so we waited to get a second one [82:15] which unfortunately took like what a [82:17] month and a half now yeah yeah so we're [82:19] like now we're way behind because we had [82:20] to wait for another one and Jack says [82:22] there's some of the same stuff but it's [82:24] better overall right yeah it's not the [82:26] the other car was massively messed up [82:28] okay all right so that that's the story [82:29] behind it you'll see the video soon [82:31] enough our London for twenty dollars as [82:34] I'm trying to accelerate through these [82:36] questions because we have so many of [82:37] them uh how's the engine in your X7 [82:40] holding up any reliability issues our [82:42] London thank you for the twenty dollars [82:44] I'm considered trading my gheebly for an [82:47] m550i which I believe has the same [82:49] engine don't worry about it as long as [82:50] you get the m550i from the up the last [82:53] update yeah because there was the the V8 [82:55] that [82:56] didn't it's like technical update too [82:59] when they went to technical update three [83:00] which was started in 2020 I think it [83:03] might have been in the Five series [83:04] before that I've had zero problems with [83:06] the engine zero problems yeah it's got [83:09] 42 000 miles on it so yes it's going to [83:12] be expensive to repair I will warn you [83:15] that but so far this last updated V8 [83:18] before they went to the hybrid one uh [83:21] because they just went to the hybrid one [83:22] M60 whatever it's been solid and most [83:25] people I haven't seen any complaints [83:26] about it at all so don't I would say if [83:28] you're worried about a Ghibli versus a [83:31] yeah zero issue [83:34] um Conor McMahon for five dollars what [83:37] do you think about the 2012 20 2013 Boss [83:41] 302 Mustang would you consider doing a [83:43] review of one as the most track capable [83:46] live axle Mustang I love [83:49] the boss 302. I know you you always I [83:52] love that car I also love the [83:56] 2013-2014 [83:57] GT500 with 665 horsepower that does not [84:01] drive properly those cars are not the [84:03] best cars in the world but they ooze [84:05] charm if we ever had one [84:07] where the owner was all right with me [84:08] making my kind of video [84:12] but yes I would love love to do a boss [84:17] 302 or really [84:19] any performance [84:22] version of a 13 or 12 Mustang yeah you [84:25] got an affinity towards these American [84:27] cars man like these muscle cars like [84:29] that I drove the Boss 302 and I'd agree [84:31] it's a cool car I'm sure I'd be just [84:33] curious because I drove it when I was in [84:35] Era yeah so I don't know how well it's [84:37] going to age because now all the new all [84:39] the new tangs are like they're so fast [84:41] so I don't know is it still gonna be fun [84:43] is it gonna be good if they're they I [84:46] don't know what Kobe did the prices are [84:47] well they're like 30 grand for 30 grand [84:48] that's a lot of yeah [84:50] the GT500 I think would be hilarious [84:52] because it's a bad car yeah yeah just I [84:54] think from a comedy perspective it would [84:56] be funny uh Christopher Keach I'm glad [84:59] he joined the loogie story Mark oh yes [85:02] thank you sir I put my heart into that [85:04] story uh [85:06] Krone 151 for 20 long time patreon [85:09] subscriber I've been using your car [85:11] reviews lately [85:13] since I have two friends in the market [85:15] for automobiles thanks for all the hard [85:16] work hopefully they find Value in these [85:18] videos man yeah and thank you Osa for [85:21] being a patreon subscriber that's deeply [85:22] helpful yes thank you so much really [85:24] appreciate it [85:26] uh Darian Mayers for twenty dollars I [85:29] bought a 991 career T CX-5 and now a [85:31] cx50 because of you guys referring to [85:34] the crarity specifically on paper the [85:36] 992 doesn't seem like that much of an [85:37] upgrade so I'm curious to know what Mark [85:39] likes so much about the 992 versus the [85:41] 991 I'm a Porsche guy so you know I'm [85:44] not probably the best person to ask why [85:46] do you like the new interior or new car [85:48] versus the old car well a lot of it is [85:50] interior exterior styling I I I I know [85:54] that's not a really great explanation [85:56] because you can speak to the mechanical [85:58] part of what's different better than I [85:59] can because I don't remember they're [86:02] literally it's it's a portion of my [86:04] Kodak my code activated I mean how much [86:07] different is it mechanically [86:09] I mean honestly because it's not the [86:12] double Wishbone car like the GT3 the [86:13] next one yeah [86:17] it's probably 10 15 better to drive [86:21] maybe from a mechanical perspective [86:23] objectively the one place that's worse [86:24] is actually the gearbox I think I think [86:28] the bushings because they took the [86:30] mechanism out of the GT3 from the 991 [86:34] Carrera T but all they did for the 992 [86:36] was shorten the gear knob the gearbox [86:39] isn't as good but mechanically again [86:40] lace generation dampers it's the [86:43] iterative learning process of you know [86:45] just making a car for a long period of [86:46] time it's like when we drove the 3.8 GT3 [86:49] and the four liter GT3 bumping 991s you [86:53] know could you say it was 50 Grand [86:55] better no but was it a lot better yes [86:58] because the damper technology got better [86:59] the iterative design the the [87:02] the steering tuning the engine was [87:04] better it's like subtle changes to make [87:07] it a better [87:08] product are there I just I don't know if [87:10] I so to be honest it's not worth it no [87:13] God no I mean if you were if you were [87:14] trying to decide between both of them at [87:16] the same time then yeah the 992 is [87:18] better but the 992 is mostly better [87:19] because to your point it's an iterative [87:21] a little bit better mechanically just [87:24] overall but the styling for me is [87:27] objective and the interior is mostly [87:28] objective the interior is better the [87:30] layout is much better on the 992 it's [87:32] more cohesive it feels like a more [87:34] special space less generic but that's [87:36] not worth dumping that car forever a new [87:38] one over that you know you're Cross [87:40] Shopping it for like some really high [87:42] horsepower variant 911 sure but I don't [87:45] think the 992 is worth the Delta over a [87:49] 991 career the only time the 992 is is a [87:53] big upgrade is in the GT3 because of the [87:55] suspension it's a much GT3 RS right yeah [87:58] you're talking about but you have to go [87:59] way high up and so to answer your [88:01] question you don't have to don't get rid [88:03] of your cards it's going to be the same [88:04] thing for you Chef Randy Marsh for ten [88:07] dollars glad to see my two favorite [88:08] takumis back on the live stream horse [88:11] yeah I forgot how long these were too [88:14] yeah I know I know my deodorants failing [88:17] again [88:18] what danger to manifold wasn't that the [88:21] uh yeah that's the Fast and the Furious [88:23] movie by the way you guys should [88:24] definitely check out that new Fast and [88:25] the Furious movie you know a stroke well [88:28] yeah I'd go in with a bottle of Etc and [88:30] ready [88:32] uh Bruce view if you started your own [88:35] car brand what would it be called what [88:37] would your first model be it'd be some [88:39] alpha numeric [ __ ] be like [88:41] azbd4 what was your first model B A zbd [88:45] would it be I like that question SUV car [88:48] Cub CUV for sure it would be all touch [88:51] screens because as we just found out [88:52] from a designer people like touch [88:54] everything yeah we don't even need to do [88:55] our reasons it would use the Unreal [88:57] Engine for every everything would have [88:59] the Unreal Engine yeah well at least the [89:00] marketing part of it no no everything [89:02] you don't need Don real you can just say [89:04] it has it [89:05] you know what I mean like just just say [89:07] it's got the owner you would have swipe [89:08] to steer because that's the next it [89:10] would have it would definitely have a [89:11] screen and the steering wheel with a [89:13] yoke it would have a the biggest Grill [89:15] possible yeah it would just it would be [89:17] no the grill would be a screen that way [89:20] you can change the grills oh yeah you [89:22] know you can change the grills digitally [89:23] you don't be I don't have to be stuck [89:24] with one Grill I mean you don't need a [89:27] physical Grill anymore Jack and it would [89:29] be like ten thousand pounds [89:30] well to start you could get the weight [89:35] package too that's the thing like you [89:37] could add well in your case you could [89:39] have the bullion Club package where it [89:41] just adds gold bars in the back [89:43] anyway that's and it would definitely [89:45] have exterior speakers that someone [89:47] brought that up that would definitely [89:48] have exterior exterior speakers for sure [89:51] so people can hear you talking your [89:52] business calls you can just hear me [89:54] outside [89:58] yeah you're already integrated speaking [90:01] of amazing cars you know the car that we [90:03] saw in Japan that I still dream about oh [90:05] here we go the Alphard the Alfred the [90:08] Alfred the Alfred van is tremendous and [90:11] if you own one I'm jealous all right [90:13] send it to the US I will dominate the [90:16] world with that uh Ryan Howard or rain [90:19] Howard sorry thank you for the twenty [90:21] dollars thank you sir AJ for 220 how was [90:24] the X7 [90:25] great [90:26] uh we answered that question no I I [90:28] honestly I I like it I just don't like [90:30] how much it costs that's my only [90:32] complaint is it's all it's a lot to run [90:34] it's expensive in terms of fuel uh [90:36] consumables are [ __ ] insane did we [90:39] talk about the tires Jack yeah they cost [90:41] as much as your Z06 Corvette tires [90:46] they last like 50 like 50 000 miles yeah [90:48] on an exode which is like horrifying in [90:51] the insurance my insurance went up to [90:53] 2500 every six months [90:57] X7 is more than on a Z06 I have to get [91:00] rid of this thing just purely based on [91:02] that I gotta actually call other [91:03] insurance companies because that it went [91:05] from if you go to the general with Shaq [91:07] yeah I'm gonna have to go to Shack I'm [91:09] just gonna drop the insurance off of it [91:10] and uh yeah I'm gonna tell an Ultima [91:14] behind me just or no tow it with the [91:16] Ultima I should [91:18] um yeah that no that car is going away I [91:20] can't I can't I just can't afford to [91:22] keep it Raphael for ten dollars in [91:24] September my car will be three years old [91:25] I was planning to replace it with a [91:27] Lexus is 500 but I'm loving the Integra [91:29] Type S what would you pick [91:32] I can't we can't talk about how the [91:33] Integra Type S drives yet but I'm sure [91:36] yeah that's that's a tough call do you [91:39] want a V8 or do you want a manual [91:40] gearbox which you know do you want a [91:43] driver's car or do you want a V8 boat [91:44] that's what you got to decide [91:46] man I can't they're totally two [91:48] different cars they're not even the same [91:50] you want drivers boat with so you want [91:53] driver's car manual you know Nimble [91:56] you've focused in the driving part but [91:58] also a good daily or do you want the the [92:01] type S is not a luxury car so if you're [92:03] expecting it to be like an is-500 in [92:06] terms of like that luxury car thing [92:08] that's not what it is [92:09] so yeah [92:12] get them both keep them both I think [92:14] you'd love them both I mean if you can [92:16] afford to have them both do it do you [92:18] want a manual do you want a V8 yes yes [92:20] that's the big thing if you want a [92:21] manual car then of course the Integra is [92:22] going to be way better forget full foot [92:24] for five dollars forgetful foot good to [92:27] see you again love the 987 review [92:28] looking forward to the 97.2 we'll [92:31] probably do that in full [92:34] um also picked up my first s2001 owner [92:36] for 24 000 US Dollars bargain [92:38] congratulations forgetful foot hopefully [92:40] you love your s2000. [92:43] yeah that that should be a a fun car for [92:46] you to experience uh Ginger Herman he is [92:49] team almond butter mark thank you for [92:51] the almond butter way more expensive [92:52] than the plebeian or plebeian peanut [92:55] butter peasants I know I should know as [92:58] I'm coming from a fancy gentleman I I [93:00] should have known coming from a fancy [93:02] gentleman such as yourself yeah the [93:03] almond butter is from Trader Joe's [93:05] though and I get this the one that's [93:06] extra salt or I guess it's sausage [93:09] that's I think that's that doesn't extra [93:11] salty but it's a taste it tastes extra [93:13] salty I like it because it actually has [93:15] flavors that's what you have wardens [93:16] cans throughout your year yeah I just I [93:18] just pour it I use it I don't even buy [93:20] salt I buy the water softener salt and [93:21] put it in my food now the pellets [93:25] God it's like just a horrifying picture [93:27] Morgan asked for fifty dollars Morgan [93:29] thank you very much which is a better [93:31] buy a new manual Camaro SS convertible [93:34] convertible or a Porsche Boxster SS [93:37] starts at 47 Boxster starts at 70. seems [93:40] like the Camaro on paper is a lot more [93:41] car for the money interested in your [93:43] thoughts [93:45] man [93:46] I don't think the Camaro is a great con [93:48] I know you want a convertible [93:50] um [93:51] Boxster [93:53] I would take the Boxster I hate to be [93:55] that guy if you want a Camaro loss I [93:57] mean it depends if you really want a [93:59] manual [94:00] um [94:02] if you can afford a Boxster oh they're [94:05] not even this they're not even like [94:06] comparable cars the box is really 70 by [94:08] the time you're done it's like in the [94:09] Box you're so Nimble and like light and [94:12] like quick feeling and the Camaro is [94:13] going to be like a boat with a [94:15] convertible it's just gonna be like V8 [94:17] muscle I I don't see them being the same [94:19] I mean if you're if cost is not an issue [94:21] you buy the Porsche 10 out of 10 times [94:24] save money and get a C8 yeah but that [94:27] looks it looks horrible I agree like [94:29] this the narrow body car does not look [94:31] good you get a C7 convertible with a [94:32] manual yeah that makes more sense yeah [94:34] if you're already looking at a Camaro SS [94:36] convertible why don't you just get a you [94:38] can get a C7 Coupe pull off the target [94:40] top and you have a convertible [94:43] experience with a V8 it's a better car [94:46] and a manual he's probably doesn't he's [94:48] probably not in the lawn chairs like you [94:49] are no you know my weakness my weakness [94:52] for launchers [94:54] um I know man that's that's a hard one I [94:55] I wish I knew more I would definitely [94:58] choose the Porsche [95:00] it's not a better value but it's a [95:02] better car yes for sure thank you though [95:05] Morgan I appreciate it man thank you or [95:07] if you're female or male or thank you as [95:10] a human being a human being right sorry [95:12] I don't I don't want to cause any static [95:14] with people uh and we already answered [95:16] that one hey how old is Jack I'm b58 [95:18] years old this guy he just turned 40. uh [95:22] rev Nation for two dollars how do you [95:24] grow [95:26] Ain't No Way Jack is a Zoomer jack is [95:28] not a Zoomer that I can tell you [95:31] did I just lose that question whether [95:33] the question yeah oh I probably how do [95:35] you crap [ __ ] sorry man oh that was my [95:39] fault [95:40] the question was how do you grow a [95:42] channel if you're new uh that was the [95:45] question yes that's all I remember about [95:47] the question [95:49] um how do you grow a channel if you're [95:50] new that is hard it's not like it used [95:53] to be everybody's gonna tell you oh you [95:54] just got to be unique [95:56] yeah persistence I honestly I don't know [95:59] we're just sort of it depends on what [96:01] you're doing right like it depends on [96:03] what you're doing such a broad question [96:04] how much uh [96:06] if it's car related [96:09] it's going to take a lot of work a lot [96:11] of work you're gonna have to start with [96:12] your own cars you're gonna have to start [96:14] with borrowed cars or something you're [96:15] gonna have to have a unique angle that [96:17] nobody else has or you're stuck doing [96:20] The Tick Tock Instagram reels thing [96:23] where you're trying to churn out [96:25] something in a minute and then it's got [96:26] to be different again like eye-catching [96:28] funny or [96:30] um from the YouTube perspective you're [96:32] gonna have to devote a lot of time and a [96:35] lot of Heartache to try to get out as [96:37] many videos as possible probably four [96:40] videos a week [96:42] um I don't know what you do [96:44] but this would be a sidebar conversation [96:47] if if you if you want more info just [96:50] um hit hit us up on email through the [96:52] website and the website has been updated [96:54] in 16 years or hit us up on patreon and [96:57] I'll try to give you a more detailed [96:58] answer [96:59] James Adler and that is a tremendous [97:02] photo James Adler uh Corvette Z06 or an [97:06] Arby's franchise thank you for the [97:07] twenty dollars but I did buy in a [97:09] launcher and partially based upon your [97:10] experiences pairs well with the Town and [97:12] Country [97:13] [Laughter] [97:15] amazing Amy Bowen uh thank you for the [97:19] twenty dollars Amy keep being Savage [97:21] geese love you guys your fad video is [97:23] still a fave despite [97:26] um it's shortcomings the car I love mine [97:28] I the f-80 is a car that I've grown to [97:30] appreciate even more and more well when [97:33] you see the new BMWs like you don't you [97:36] didn't know what you were missing I I [97:37] said this to Jack he's like oh I'd love [97:38] a new M4 I'm like just kidding f80 he's [97:41] like oh it's so much money [97:43] you're lucky if you have one honestly [97:44] it's probably like in terms of like the [97:47] e92 everybody gets nuts over the e92 [97:49] that's like this generation e92 it's all [97:52] the modern stuff and good looks and [97:55] uh yeah you're lucky thanks [97:57] uh future clubs in the Horizon uh [98:01] something with Micah we're trying to do [98:03] I'd love to do something with everyday [98:04] driver Nacho Libre and also thank you [98:06] for the five dollars yeah thank you for [98:07] the five [98:09] um everyday driver yeah so it was [98:11] throttle house we got throttle house [98:12] straight pipes and Micah and uh Andy the [98:16] lab and these are nothing's planned but [98:19] those are the that's what we're going to [98:21] be doing I don't know what time frame I [98:23] can't even give you that one right now [98:25] Lane this is a man who who lives the [98:29] life that I want to live thank you [98:30] Elaine uh thank you for the 50 after six [98:33] years of living vicariously through your [98:34] review I purchased my dream car a 2019 [98:37] gt350r thank you for keeping the dream [98:39] alive through school saving and [98:41] delivering the best car content on [98:43] YouTube congratulations on your purchase [98:45] line that's really it's such a badass [98:46] car we just had we just talked about [98:48] this car for like the past three days [98:50] Jack would just randomly have outbursts [98:53] man I would love a G2 just like randomly [98:56] he would say it I'm like dude what the [98:57] [ __ ] are you first in Europe because we [98:59] were working on the Mustang project yeah [99:00] that's true again it triggered all that [99:02] I mean I it is it's probably one of the [99:06] most memorable cars I've ever driven in [99:08] recent like modern history in the past [99:10] seven years we worked with a Ford [99:13] performance engineer we worked with [99:15] everyone who worked on the car but I did [99:17] the shop segment with the Ford [99:18] performance and our Ford engineer who [99:19] worked on the Mustang Dark Horse and he [99:21] pulled me aside on one of the best [99:22] driving car we've ever built is a gt350r [99:26] that car is so special it blows up you [99:29] might blow up your car Lane and if you [99:31] do I'm sorry but at least you have a [99:34] badass car in the meantime just make [99:35] sure you have some engine stockpiled [99:37] yeah that's what I told the engineer I'm [99:39] like you got to buy that car and two [99:40] crate engines to go along with it like [99:41] brake pads [99:43] but yeah I mean it's it's still still an [99:46] amazing experience and now you know [99:48] internally that it blows up they're like [99:50] yep that car has got some problems you [99:52] just roll the dice well in five years [99:54] when they don't have to warranty them [99:55] anymore they're like oh man we made some [99:58] mistakes on that one [100:04] uh do you have any opinions or thoughts [100:06] on the new Mazda hybrid rotary with the [100:08] sin gas ethanol being the savior of ice [100:10] over the next 10 years [100:13] I honestly I I know they've been working [100:15] on synthetic feels but I I really have [100:17] not followed the details of it so I I [100:19] don't know I mean [100:22] I feel like every week something pops up [100:24] about some savior of synthetic fuels or [100:28] uh solid state batteries or urine from a [100:32] donkey that comes from space I don't [100:35] know like I I would love to see it [100:37] because if that happened [100:38] we would have some really cool cars [100:40] again for sure [100:42] sorry I don't have a better answer yeah [100:44] I feel bad it's just something I haven't [100:46] given a lot of thought [100:48] um can uh Chris walks fast thank you for [100:51] the two dollars can you talk more about [100:53] the STI engine failure was the owner mad [100:56] uh Dom is actually somewhere in the [100:59] comments he's the guy with the ss209 [101:01] nameplate he told me today I forgot to [101:04] tell mark this at first off Tom is the [101:05] nicest guy in the world I'm not just [101:07] saying this because we blew up his car [101:08] he worked with us on the original STIs [101:10] 209 video super good dude uh he wanted [101:14] the car to be there as Marcus Beat to [101:15] Death at this point and the reason it [101:17] failed [101:18] is did he get back to you yeah rod [101:20] bearing on the fourth cylinder one was [101:24] what failed and um prior to that the [101:26] only issue he's had and this guy is like [101:28] hyper and the whole car was ppf'd you [101:31] know he's never tracked the car he's [101:33] done all of his maintenance at [101:34] dealerships prior to the car losing its [101:37] engine like in the last Thousand Miles [101:39] and Dom will probably [101:40] be more accurate at least in the [101:42] comments is that it uh it lost his [101:45] Catalyst which probably means it was [101:47] running rich and then you know this was [101:50] the slight or eating through oil yeah [101:52] one or the other well no he never had [101:54] any burning oil problems oh he didn't [101:55] nope probably like this I mean Brit only [101:58] ran three laps and we're not talking [102:01] about yeah and it's not on super sticky [102:02] tours it wouldn't have been a GE load [102:04] issue so it was probably it was already [102:06] worn through the bearings it was just I [102:08] just needed yep the small shove it [102:10] needed Subaru problems they did warranty [102:12] the car do I think they would have [102:14] warrantied it if we towed it yes well no [102:16] well I don't want to get into the [102:18] nitty-gritty of it but we did it the [102:20] right way like I think we did it the [102:22] right way it was handled professionally [102:24] he did the right thing with the [102:26] dealership and we we talked about this [102:28] beforehand or I had you talk to him [102:30] about it like make sure the car has had [102:31] its maintenance done there's no [102:32] modifications they did a service before [102:35] we did it ever he did everything you're [102:37] supposed to do with a car like that to [102:39] make sure that you get the any type of [102:41] warranty work done properly without any [102:43] fight and there should have been zero [102:45] fight with it and even on our side our [102:47] super reps agreed and they made sure [102:49] that they hand hold the back end to make [102:51] sure that the engine was coming from [102:52] Japan that you know the process of it [102:54] even the dealership was hand selling the [102:56] process well and he's you know he really [103:00] is the type of person that you would [103:01] love that's the person you love as [103:04] somebody that buys your cars he doesn't [103:06] just care about the STIs he wants a [103:07] regular Subaru he'll own multiple new [103:09] Subarus like he really loves the brand [103:11] and you know you could say what you want [103:12] about Subaru they have their following [103:14] and he it does the way that they handled [103:17] this is exactly the reason it's going to [103:20] keep him around as a customer it's a [103:22] good lesson for Brands to build equity [103:25] with people by doing the right thing if [103:27] in his case he did the right thing with [103:29] this car I'm not talking about somebody [103:30] that went out and had you know E85 and a [103:33] tune and like you know running you know [103:36] different uh boost pressures and all [103:38] this stuff no this car was stuck and was [103:40] treated well and done all the [103:42] maintenance so he deserved to get the [103:43] treatment he did uh Flat 6 Fiesta for [103:47] five dollars 80m going anywhere rs3s are [103:49] going for seventy thousand dollars is [103:51] 500s are going to seventy thousand [103:54] dollars and two competitions are 60 [103:55] Grand car prices are through the roof [103:58] you see this as the new normal until we [104:00] all go broke in the finance and there's [104:02] a huge financial crisis for the [104:03] foreseeable future [104:05] maybe yeah it's yeah I would say it's [104:08] going to stay this way uh until the the [104:11] credit prop credit thing blows up you [104:15] know if you have banks that stop lending [104:17] or interest rates start to get really [104:20] really out of hand and they cut off [104:22] lending kind of like they did that I [104:23] know I brought this up before but they [104:24] they did some cutoffs during covet Banks [104:26] stopped loaning over fifty thousand [104:28] dollars for cars just as a security [104:30] measure big Banks so if they start [104:32] capping car loans and people are like [104:34] the only way to get car loans is like 10 [104:36] interest or something you'll see that [104:38] that bomb drop but until that I I for [104:41] this crazy inventory again right right [104:43] crazy I don't see the inventory going up [104:45] on specialty cars we've already talked [104:47] to all these brands that are making the [104:48] fun cars and they're making them in [104:49] limited quantities and they've done that [104:51] on purpose to protect themselves by [104:54] making sure that they have a supply [104:55] chain for the next like two or three [104:57] years for a limited quality not they [104:58] don't make money off the cars being [105:00] marked up they don't they are so [105:02] conservative in product planning they [105:03] don't want to build more cars and have [105:05] them sit and not get sold they'd rather [105:07] build less cars and guaranteed they get [105:09] sold someone I hate to bring up the ZO6 [105:11] again but they they make 50 a day they [105:14] make approximately between 44 to 50 a [105:16] day like 150 c8s regular c8s every [105:19] single day they're building a lot of [105:21] cars but also there's only so many [105:23] buyers out there and they've planned out [105:25] the the building of these cars years in [105:28] advance that's how you get a supply [105:30] chain right type R is the same way you [105:32] said 400 400 a month that's it maximum [105:35] so that's I didn't do the math I think [105:37] that's under 5 000 units a year that's [105:39] it that's all they're doing and they [105:41] have no ability to expand the capacity [105:43] out because they've already set up the [105:44] supply chain for that number for that [105:47] specific year now granted whenever their [105:49] renewal is they can up it or down it but [105:51] really for the foreseeable future a lot [105:53] of this stuff is locked in [105:56] okay that's a depressing statement to [105:58] say but it's the truth uh tentra oh wow [106:02] the question holy [ __ ] [106:04] uh I just uh tentra 002 I'm debating [106:09] between a Golf GTI SC base model and a [106:13] golf r [106:15] uh is the r worth the extra ten thousand [106:17] dollar premium mainly as a spirited [106:19] daily driver no track I'm in the [106:21] Northeast so five to ten snow days a [106:23] year [106:23] I would take a Golf R over a base GTI [106:26] any day of the week particularly if you [106:28] see snow yes it's a better car there's [106:31] no question about it and in any way the [106:34] Golf R is a better car yeah yeah so it's [106:36] a lot more money but it's a better car [106:38] and you're gonna have a much better [106:39] Driving Experience there's no way you [106:40] would drive those back to back and be [106:42] like yeah I'm gonna go for the GTI [106:45] um point of view garage patreon here [106:47] thank you for being a patreon thank you [106:49] for the 10 donation [106:51] uh thank you for the content have a 2021 [106:54] STI that I enjoy but I'm but I'm [106:56] undecided between trading it for a [106:58] manual Supra Camaro ssle for track work [107:00] which you suggest Camaro [107:05] he's coming from a Subaru though [107:08] Camaro [107:09] come here is a better car but he's [107:11] probably gonna like the Supra better [107:16] I would I don't know I but the super [107:18] isn't like more analog car and the [107:20] Camaro is more analog [107:22] you feel more [107:25] the super though like an STI you can [107:28] tune to your heart that's dude that's a [107:30] really hard one you you literally have [107:31] to drive them both you you have to drive [107:33] them both to really to know you'll love [107:36] the V8 sound and the gearbox which you [107:40] won't love [107:41] is the fact that it's harder to tune you [107:44] can't make 10 000 horsepower like you [107:46] can in the Supra and the styling of the [107:48] Camaro is kind of [ __ ] [107:53] that's all the birds man there are no [107:54] nuts out there [107:56] uh hope so hopefully point a point of [107:59] view garage that helps you I you're [108:01] never going to be able to tell in a test [108:02] drive either but the basic inputs and [108:05] whether or not you like the manual one [108:06] card versus the other or the character [108:08] of the engines you'll be able to figure [108:09] out on a test drive [108:11] um Justified [108:13] uh for five dollars a launch for ndct [108:16] Wow or a Lexus ES 350 I live in Los [108:20] Angeles is it worth getting a sporty car [108:22] or should I just get the reliable boat [108:23] and sit in traffic [108:26] uh by the way thanks for being a patreon [108:28] and I know that the SS question is a [108:30] hard one but yeah thank you I appreciate [108:32] it uh [108:34] they're these are like completely [108:36] different cars [108:38] I mean if you're sitting in traffic [108:41] and you never drive the canyons and you [108:44] never go out and have fun [108:46] you're gonna feel a lot more calm in an [108:48] ES350 you're going to feel constantly at [108:52] on edge in that Elantra and like you're [108:54] gonna you're gonna be hating life in it [108:57] it's also going to ride much rougher [108:59] like I don't care you know the launcher [109:01] end doesn't ride bad but it's not a [109:04] smooth car and you're going to regret it [109:06] in traffic if that's all you do just get [109:08] an ES350 and find some other fun weekend [109:10] car [109:11] uh Chris walks fast for two dollars [109:14] thoughts on the whistling diesels [109:15] Automotive Channel [109:17] I know little about that guy and I've [109:19] never watched this stuff [109:20] so I have no opinion yeah I have I [109:24] honestly I've never seen one of the [109:25] videos before I know that's bad but I [109:27] apologize to him personally so you know [109:29] maybe it's I I'm sorry I don't know [ __ ] [109:31] about it [109:33] have you seen that dude's baloney [109:35] Channel he just puts bologna in his [109:37] mouth [109:39] is that a thing yeah it's my sub Channel [109:41] no I don't know [109:44] edgy for once TT it doesn't really I [109:49] could picture there's someone being a [109:50] baloney Channel yeah that's true yeah no [109:52] it's not so far-fetched anymore uh my [109:55] favorite new weird YouTube channel that [109:57] I enjoy it's funny because I don't [109:58] really watch car content Caravan of [110:01] garbage they're two Australian guys that [110:03] sort of do a podcast and they talk about [110:04] old films [110:06] it's it's actually pretty [ __ ] [110:08] amazing [110:09] um yeah you'll have to send it to me [110:11] yeah I think I think you would genuinely [110:13] appreciate it it's like our perspective [110:14] on Films is it like modern stuff or old [110:17] stuff it's old new all the above oh it [110:20] does it does everything yeah they talked [110:21] about Blade the original blade film they [110:24] Revisited they talk about production and [110:25] some garbage trivia associated with it [110:28] blade still has my favorite stupid quote [110:31] it's what is it some [ __ ] are [110:33] always still trying to ice skate uphill [110:35] he has just some nonsensical stuff God [110:37] that movie's incredible dude don't get [110:39] me started with movies right now because [110:40] you know what I'm gonna bring up [110:43] Wild Side Oh my God all right uh TT uh [110:47] for ten dollars thank you for the 10 [110:49] donation I ordered a ranger raptor have [110:52] you guys heard anything about press [110:54] Vehicles when you might review one how [110:56] much owning a raptor will boost my T [110:58] levels well we saw one in person while [111:01] we were at The Ford Place [111:03] and Mark slug I rather drive a Prius no [111:06] I don't know I mean you don't really [111:07] like trucks [111:09] honestly I I don't know what it is man [111:11] like I can't [111:13] I just it's it's just another truck if [111:16] it's half as good as the Bronco Raptor [111:18] you will absolutely love it I don't know [111:20] when the Press Drive is gonna happen we [111:21] pitched them on a documentary film on [111:23] that car I doubt they're gonna it's a [111:25] Bronco with a truck bed right I mean I [111:27] don't know what it is Bronco Raptor okay [111:29] it's a Bronco Raptor with a bed [111:31] Bronco raptor is great you'll probably [111:33] love it yeah if you like the Bronco [111:35] Raptor I mean it's going to be the same [111:36] crap right yeah same not crap you know [111:38] what I mean it's gonna be the same [111:39] Dynamics I mean it's not gonna be that [111:40] much different maybe with the back end [111:42] kind of unloaded it might be more fun to [111:44] drive like I don't know but how much [111:46] different can it be uh we'll probably be [111:49] at the Press launch probably Jack will [111:51] be at the Press launch Mark will be [111:53] asleep I'll be on the beach [111:55] when will different size geese t-shirts [111:57] be available uh not for a while I I need [112:00] over ten thousand dollars to order them [112:02] and that's not happening anytime soon [112:03] love your content from MN from Minnesota [112:06] your CX-5 video got me into crossover [112:09] what are your thoughts on the new [112:10] eight-speed transmission jack tell them [112:13] uh even according to the engineers they [112:16] wish they had more money to develop it [112:17] it's not bad it's not great it's just [112:20] there and there's some weird smoothness [112:22] issues with initial takeoff both in the [112:24] p-have and the regular inline six I like [112:27] the P have better than the base in line [112:29] six [112:30] do I think the Turbo S is amazing I [112:32] still probably would take the P have I [112:34] think in a vehicle like that I know they [112:37] wanted to have the deck you're going to [112:38] see it on a review there's a lot great [112:40] with that SUV there's some things I [112:42] would definitely have done differently [112:43] but I get why Mazda did what they did [112:46] and I appreciate that they developed [112:47] their eight-speed in-house is it a cf8 [112:49] speed absolutely not [112:53] um Edgar thank you for the 10 Ron by the [112:56] way thanks Jaden [112:57] Daniel Dowd thoughts on tracking a car [112:59] with traction control on versus off I [113:02] want to learn to correct slides at high [113:03] speed but the risks seem so on track [113:05] compared to autocross don't learn to [113:06] correct high-speed slides on track do it [113:09] on an autographs [113:11] I love drifting cars around and the way [113:13] I got good at it is through autocrossing [113:16] cars like up constantly upsetting cars [113:19] and correcting them on an autocross [113:20] taught me car control [113:22] at least you know in a non going to a [113:24] driving school setup and then obviously [113:27] the bottom round things that are [113:28] cemented the ability to slide cars [113:29] around when you drive with traction [113:31] control off but you drive it not so you [113:33] can drift the car around [113:35] I drive it to the car doesn't interfere [113:36] so the problem with modern cars is the [113:39] traction stability control system is [113:41] always using the brakes always using the [113:44] brakes so like what a natural behavior [113:47] of the car would be with everything off [113:49] where the car might rotate or understeer [113:51] more if you don't have it off [113:54] the car is just always electronically [113:56] controlling it so it's not the natural [113:57] state of what it is so I turn it off so [114:00] I can feel what the car is doing and [114:01] having its natural rotation you're using [114:03] the mechanical grip all that stuff you [114:05] know what's going on if you're trying to [114:06] drive hard with stability control on it [114:09] will destroy your brakes 100 percent [114:11] pretty much if you drive fast and if [114:13] you're driving it fast and trying to [114:15] slide the car it will destroy the brakes [114:17] and tires within it will I mean [114:19] literally it's just turn it off but to [114:22] Jack's Point don't try to slide the car [114:24] around until you know how to do this [114:26] quickly recover the car learn how to [114:28] recover the car from a slide before [114:30] you've tried sliding it because you need [114:32] to what you need to understand is like [114:34] Jack does this all the time you need to [114:36] understand how to stop a slide from [114:39] getting out of hand so when you reach [114:41] that point of no return you need to know [114:43] how to settle the car down and stop it [114:45] so you don't wind up continuing that [114:47] slide into a fixed object so you need to [114:49] be quick hand moving the car or looping [114:51] the car especially if there's other cars [114:52] on it so learn how to do the slowest [114:53] feed stuff first learn how to correct a [114:56] car and how to stop a car and then learn [114:58] how to spin it or like drift it yeah and [115:00] I would like outside of what we do on [115:02] camera there's no one else on track I [115:04] would never drift a car on a track day [115:06] with other cars on track it just seems a [115:08] good way to totally well yeah and if you [115:09] if you lose it that's the problem like [115:12] if you have somebody behind you that [115:13] doesn't understand what you're doing or [115:15] doesn't kind of like comprehend like [115:17] placement of a car and you go and loop [115:20] it in front of somebody and they just [115:21] T-Bone you I mean it's just yeah you [115:23] ruined your day and somebody else yeah [115:24] anyway learn how to do it at slow speeds [115:26] first man and then always leave the [115:29] stuff off unless you're a horrible [115:30] driver if you're trying to drive with [115:32] the stability control system on it's [115:34] just you're not going to learn anything [115:35] you're going to learn nothing yeah [115:37] I [115:39] like if you have a really Advanced [115:41] stability control setup like some crazy [115:43] NDM mode or the the the PTM and of that [115:46] it will save your ass and you will be [115:48] fast it depends I think from an old car [115:51] perspective like your type R or an old [115:53] car but like an older less sophisticated [115:54] system turn everything off if it's a [115:57] really competent system like when they [115:59] the PTM pulls spark and timing and uses [116:02] the diff it doesn't use the brakes to [116:04] save your ass [116:05] if you're not confident in the car is [116:07] terrifying to drive then sure leave some [116:09] of it on I won't I don't blame you for [116:11] it but I wouldn't turn leave anything [116:13] totally on this is a complicated topic [116:17] it's it's a complicated topic you can't [116:19] learn how to drive a car with all the [116:20] systems interfering because you don't [116:21] know what the car's doing and you don't [116:23] know what it's doing for you and you [116:24] don't know like where the limits of a [116:26] car is if it's constantly breaking for [116:28] you so I mean again you have to do some [116:31] type of driving school in a controlled [116:33] environment where you're not putting [116:34] your car yourself or somebody else at [116:35] risk and a lot of that is starting at [116:37] slower speed Maneuvers learning the [116:39] learning how to stop slides and all the [116:41] safety stuff before you go high speed [116:43] and try to spin a car [116:45] um and that's where I'll leave it but I [116:47] I guess we can argue that for a while [116:48] Tim thank you for your thirty dollars [116:50] collectively between both your donations [116:52] yes Jack and [116:54] check Joe it's a guy who swings into [116:56] your private DMS on Instagram spam to [116:58] you but you guys uh spammed you with [117:00] people sticking up the middle finger [117:01] please accept my thirty dollars [117:03] Collective leads compensation for your [117:05] pain by the way guys you rock well thank [117:07] you Tim Brown I appreciate it and [117:09] continue to spam us on on Instagram it's [117:11] it always gives me a slight chuckle [117:14] Edgar thank you for the ten dollars [117:16] what's the ideal Poor Man's four-door [117:18] fun daily thank you wild frames again [117:21] thank you Tim Brown thank you uh for for [117:25] doing that [117:27] um we're gonna try to get through all [117:29] the last questions that we have please [117:31] stop donating Chen please tell everybody [117:33] to stop donating we'd like to go home [117:35] and see your families [117:36] and hopefully you guys have appreciated [117:38] or enjoyed I don't want to see my family [117:40] I want to edit I need to edit otherwise [117:42] you're not going to have a video on [117:44] Monday of artwork all right let's let's [117:46] uh let's start going through these [117:48] faster Mark let's do it [117:50] uh poor what's the best four-door fun [117:54] daily for someone who doesn't have a lot [117:55] of money [117:58] Civic SI yeah probably like an older [118:01] City yeah I would say so that's pretty I [118:04] don't know how much they are but yeah [118:05] that would be good like like a K20 [118:07] equipped one that's a great inexpensive [118:09] four-door car [118:10] uh Fiesta ST Focus ST [118:14] uh yeah if he has to St I don't like the [118:16] fiest would be far more fun uh Nacho [118:19] Libre for ten dollars what shot is the [118:22] hardest to capture slash edit with [118:24] interviews probably [118:27] no I don't think so is that it to edit I [118:30] mean well depends on what the interviews [118:32] are is it some canned trash the hardest [118:35] one is going to be that effects because [118:36] it's in a different language [118:38] um but I I would prefer to sit and [118:41] interview somebody than standing out on [118:43] track hanging out of the back of a car [118:44] trying to get like all what's the [118:46] hardest to shoot [118:47] the track stuff yeah that's really good [118:49] it's it's really hard it's like it's a [118:51] lot it's just insane amounts of work and [118:53] it's exhausting yeah it's rough dangling [118:56] on the back of a car to get some of [118:57] these shots I think the most frustrating [118:59] part about these track things is you [119:00] would think oh this is going to be so [119:02] much fun because we have cars on track [119:03] like I get when that was a perfect [119:05] example we were rushing to get the [119:07] Integra video done I'm like I'm gonna go [119:09] spin some laps in the type R to set [119:10] times and get data and I spent [119:14] like six minutes stressed out trying to [119:16] do it and then I got one lap in the [119:18] integral one which is one lap and that [119:20] was the that was all it was and anytime [119:23] we do these big track comparisons you [119:24] don't even get to drive the only thing [119:26] you're doing is shooting these cars like [119:28] not you're just trying to get every [119:29] single shot it's just a time crunch so [119:32] um I would say that the track stuff and [119:35] then trying to edit uh the story stuff [119:38] the Z06 video that you wanted to do with [119:40] the factory was really really hard the [119:43] the other comparison to the GT3 was [119:46] really really hard that was it probably [119:48] took two to three weeks to do that video [119:50] just editing yeah it was a nightmare [119:52] speaking of edits when you open the hood [119:54] and speak about engine suspension parts [119:55] can you please somehow highlight the [119:56] parts you were actually talking about [119:57] some of us don't know what control arms [119:59] are etc etc uh we will do our best yeah [120:03] the straight answer is why I don't do it [120:06] and it's not that I know that I [120:07] shouldn't do it is because I never have [120:08] enough time to go through and that's my [120:10] fault I'll I will admit that it's [120:13] Corner cutting because I've gotten lazy [120:16] with it and I don't want to take any [120:17] more time to do it but if it's a [120:19] technical video I will do my best to do [120:21] it I've been working in After Effects [120:23] and other stuff more recently to do [120:25] graphical things that I need to do so [120:27] you will see more of it the last uh oh [120:31] [ __ ] super bash for ten dollars can you [120:34] hear about the Integra Type S better [120:35] than your type R better daily the [120:36] Embargo drops Monday Honda will skin Us [120:39] Alive yeah I can't talk about the [120:41] driving part of it um you'll find [120:43] everything else honestly you know on [120:44] Monday yeah I'm sorry [120:46] um the last for five dollars love the [120:48] technical side content love to listen to [120:50] your views while at work genuinely helps [120:52] me to pass the time I work uh work 15 [120:54] hour shifts Monday through Friday man [120:56] thank you that's a lot of work [120:59] um yeah thank you man I'm glad we bring [121:02] you at least a little bit of Joy [121:03] hopefully you get fit one week on or one [121:06] week off or something speed reader nine [121:08] are you guys going to the Run sport [121:09] reunion at Laguna in September probably [121:12] not we typically don't travel for car [121:14] shows just being honest uh thank you for [121:16] the 10 speed reader it's not that we [121:18] don't want to go we just don't have time [121:19] if this was in a different life right [121:21] now or like out of this I'd probably be [121:23] more involved in that when I can [121:24] actually enjoy some of it versus this [121:26] grind that we're in [121:28] blogmon332 is the vsst worth current [121:31] market uh oh I would still have my [121:35] uh 2016 Mazda 3 2 liter six-speed [121:39] automatic as my daily yeah if they're [121:40] not super expensive the fiesta sees a [121:42] lot of fun man [121:43] the same guy who talked about the 350r [121:45] with us he dailies if he SSC because he [121:47] loves it that much yeah that that it is [121:49] those cars are really fun they're like [121:51] there's not much else like them it's [121:53] like the modern equivalent of like a [121:55] really hyper aggressive CRX where you [121:58] have spring rates of like 3 000 pounds [122:00] it's just such an edgy fun car to drive [122:03] uh your content uh iframes for 10 your [122:06] content is inspiring in so many ways [122:08] well you see a manual F-Type v6s rear [122:12] wheel drive review also Emmanuel 987 [122:14] asks if Jack can somehow drag Mark into [122:16] another Porsche the likelihood of [122:19] getting a V6 F-Type manual is like [122:21] non-existent I'd love to do a video in [122:23] one we're probably never going to do it [122:24] the 987 s the problem is the GT4 is so [122:29] similar [122:30] uh it's a 7 or 981 98 sorry 981s [122:35] maybe it's just the the GT4 is so [122:38] similar and we've done so many Porsche [122:39] videos it's almost a derivative I think [122:41] you know eventually we're going to go [122:42] back to trying to find some older cars [122:45] to do stuff because the new car stuff is [122:46] just it's just so difficult to do some [122:49] of these projects I think we're going to [122:51] go back to it [122:52] um just keep reminding us if you could [122:54] Tim Brown for two dollars Boss 302 uh [122:58] how about a Cobra R I love that car chin [123:01] face who's our moderator loves that car [123:03] if I could do a video on a cobra arm we [123:05] can make it as ridiculous as our [123:07] original hours the independent rear [123:09] right I'm pretty sure it's independent [123:10] rear and a giant wing on the back it was [123:13] the same body as The Terminator [123:15] Alpha back Brackley thank you again what [123:18] if what viewer question or comment [123:19] really most impacted your approach and [123:22] career [123:25] man that's a hard one what viewer [123:27] comment here what viewer question I [123:31] gotta give that one thought I think we [123:32] both do like I don't understand the [123:34] question what question did someone ask [123:37] you that made you change your approach [123:40] or impacted your career [123:44] that yeah that's there's not one uh [123:48] that's really hard though [123:51] yeah I I would want to say to Jack's [123:54] point I'd have to think about that more [123:55] because I don't just want to give you a [123:57] half-assed answer I think a lot of it [123:58] has to do with the people that we talk [124:00] to like viewers obviously in these [124:02] questions that we get and adversity I [124:05] think I would say that more as a general [124:07] statement is like if I screw something [124:09] up and somebody comes back and says you [124:11] did this wrong or you should have done [124:12] this [124:14] um or even positive feedback I look at [124:16] that as a sum or a whole of like how can [124:18] I do things differently [124:20] um [124:22] I I think a lot of what I get feedback [124:25] from is people's experiences where I can [124:28] learn from people's experiences of what [124:29] works and hasn't worked and what they're [124:31] going through because that's that's [124:34] definitely more helpful for big picture [124:35] so I get a because you get in your own [124:38] head I think all of us get in our own [124:39] head of like Our Daily Grind but if you [124:41] can hear other people's experiences and [124:42] have them share like what they're going [124:43] through it makes things much easier to [124:47] think like oh okay this person's going [124:49] through that or how are they dealing [124:50] with it you've learned these tidbits of [124:52] how they've dealt with situations that [124:54] you maybe have never thought of so I [124:56] think it's just the overall interaction [124:57] with people that really helps and good [124:59] and bad comments as well so many people [125:01] have been asking us for is an NPC car [125:04] shootout Mark I know I've wanted to do [125:06] that forever the dream what what's the [125:08] dream lineup for an NPC shootout is it a [125:11] tracks an ecosport [125:13] Equinox yeah like Equinox ecosport uh [125:18] tracks there's got to be some other [125:20] piles in there [125:22] uh we never did in uh Luke thank you for [125:24] the five dollars the reason we never did [125:26] an all track Sport Wagon review is [125:28] because we never had one as a press car [125:31] it's just simply that I mean I think [125:33] it's a great car A friend of mine [125:34] personally actually owns one when she [125:35] proceeded to blow up [125:38] Kevin if you're watching uh [125:41] you're an idiot [125:42] uh what is the next question we have [125:46] holy [ __ ] we have a lot of questions [125:49] loud oh God I thought you like questions [125:52] I do I just I need to find where we're [125:54] at in the questions uh uh Herbert [125:56] Martinez for five dollars currently own [125:58] a 2018 Focus RS considering a trade [126:00] anything in the current class and Market [126:02] worth the swap for example Golf R or [126:04] type R the only thing close to the Focus [126:07] RS in my opinion is the gr Corolla but [126:11] you the type R is better and the [126:12] elantraan is also great [126:14] yeah just put it in that list of order I [126:16] I would drive a focus or sorry I drive a [126:19] gr Corolla first and then the type R the [126:21] golf bar is way too soft gladio 2 for [126:24] five dollars if the WRX is a rally car [126:26] meant to go off-road wise reportedly so [126:29] stiff shouldn't it be soft to make [126:32] off-roading smoother [126:33] the streetcar is not a rally car [126:36] hashtag [126:38] marketing [126:39] that's it it's it's zero percent a rally [126:43] car I mean you could take it off-road [126:45] and you'll end up on a tow truck [126:48] will do a better job going off-road to [126:50] recover you uh next question mark [126:54] bullion boys Andrea uh isk 750 keep up [127:00] the great work bullion boys thank you [127:02] I'm sorry I asked I I never thought it [127:05] was part of his name thank you 750 isk [127:10] Andrew thank you Michael turning do you [127:13] and Jack have more uh do you jack and [127:16] Mark have kids we have kids together [127:17] we've adopted a small family adopted [127:20] Jack's Corvette [127:22] we have Corvettes uh where uh just to be [127:27] straight about this stuff I don't like [127:29] to get into the personal life thing it's [127:30] no no offense honestly just in a public [127:32] forum like I'll talk to you somebody [127:33] one-on-one about stuff but I don't I [127:35] don't like talking about uh our personal [127:37] life except for your child Diversity [127:39] Program yeah with one kid in every state [127:41] well yeah and I'm having some trouble [127:43] with that recently is this that why [127:45] you're bankrupt yeah pretty much the [127:46] payments are getting out of hand I [127:48] thought it was a good idea at first I [127:49] mean Elon Musk is trying it but I [127:51] definitely don't have Elon muscles Al [127:52] Pacino and uh Robert Redford Robert Joni [127:56] no yeah De Niro De Niro and uh Al Pacino [127:59] both have inspired you to have kids in [128:01] your late 80s yeah I hope yeah no thank [128:04] you the last thing I want to do is that [128:05] docs why docs the lamanca thank you for [128:09] the five dollars why are the LX 570s and [128:12] LCS still so expensive all the used ones [128:15] I don't know because it's Lexus pretty [128:18] much yeah I mean it's there aren't a lot [128:20] of them and people love them the the LC [128:22] is a good question because we're looking [128:23] at the numbers of production and the the [128:26] numbers they were supposed to sell 450 a [128:29] month that was their target when they [128:30] made the LLC and it's there were months [128:32] where it did it but overall they're [128:34] lucky if they sell like 100 a month so [128:36] the inventory is really low and the [128:38] people that have them are usually [128:39] holding on to them or you have to wait [128:41] for leases to come up yeah it just sucks [128:44] I I agree they're way too expensive Sony [128:46] Triple C thank you for the fifty dollars [128:48] yes Tony Triple C thanks for the 49.99 [128:50] this guy couldn't even afford to give me [128:52] the extra value he's an [ __ ] no Tony [128:54] thank you very much thanks man I [128:56] appreciate it you guys set the standard [128:58] best car reviewers period thank you [128:59] given the e-fuel efforts say it's [129:01] perfected tomorrow do you think any ice [129:03] manufacturer would continue once EB [129:05] becomes the norm exotic and or more [129:07] attainable brands [129:09] yes I think as soon as there's some [129:12] alternate fuel that works you're gonna [129:14] go right back to having ridiculous [129:15] internal combustion cars because these [129:17] companies already have insane [129:19] development history and experience with [129:21] doing so so to throw all that away after [129:23] 100 years or whatever it is [129:26] um like yeah it's they're going to want [129:29] to do it immediately they'll be like [129:30] yeah who's going to be the first person [129:31] to make another thousand horsepower [129:33] internal combustion they'll be high [129:34] dollar cars yeah they will but it'll [129:37] trickle its way down to normal cars [129:38] again I mean I hope it happens [129:40] uh thoughts and reliable Ethan thank you [129:42] for the ten dollars thanks I thought [129:44] some reliability between the Civic SI [129:46] versus the type R like two liter versus [129:50] 1.5 [129:51] more displacement less PSI for the win [129:54] is the two liter more reliable than the [129:56] one five [129:57] uh yes I think [129:59] the initial 1.5 is with the dilution [130:01] issue dilution issue [130:04] um but the the 1.5s are more tunable you [130:06] can make a lot of power out of them but [130:08] they're still like the the issue with it [130:10] is you have cooling problems then right [130:11] I mean it's it wasn't designed to be a [130:14] performance application it was designed [130:16] to be an Eco setup so you have to do all [130:18] this side work to make it more reliable [130:19] whereas the two liter was already that [130:22] already built for cooling and at least [130:23] to a certain extent so reliability there [130:26] I'd take the two liter uh mobster for [130:28] two dollars I want to buy a B12 Aston [130:30] Martin which do you like I like all of [130:32] them as long as they have a manual [130:35] DBS and V12 manager yeah I mean that's [130:38] where that's where you spend the money [130:39] on Aston is that type of thing Uh Kevin [130:42] Patrick goulette [130:44] uh cool hva Scirocco in the news this [130:48] week question could you see a 18 GT V6 [130:52] with similar performance mods as an HPA [130:55] Scirocco sorry not Soro Scirocco a [130:57] Sleeper Car cool and not to be a thief [131:00] magnet here in La you guys rock thanks [131:03] I've been the facade gtv6 the problem is [131:06] I've never driven one I think the [131:07] chirocco is really cool but it's really [131:08] just a [131:10] to golf [131:13] it would be a cool Sleeper Car [131:16] but besides gtv6 I think this the the [131:19] Passat has a really sleep regard aspect [131:21] to it it's like it's sleepers you can [131:24] get nobody would give it a second look [131:25] and it would be a fun car I mean it's [131:27] still based on all the same cars that [131:28] are good from VW if you do the right [131:30] stuff to it I just don't know man that's [131:32] that's a tricky call if you want to [131:34] spend the money on doing all that but [131:37] there is something to be said about [131:38] sleeper cars they're for sure that's why [131:41] people like things like the Taurus Show [131:42] yeah yeah for yeah I would [131:45] I could see it definitely Luke Kramer [131:48] for ten dollars hey guys if both are [131:50] sixty thousand dollars would I get a [131:52] manual Supra or a manual V8 R8 with [131:55] higher mileage coming from a 10th gen [131:57] Civic SI [131:59] manual Lamborghini guard was my dream [132:01] car and the super scares me with [132:02] rear-wheel drive [132:04] uh [132:06] man there's a way can you afford to fix [132:09] your manual V8 R8 if when it goes bad [132:12] that becomes your question you can't [132:13] it's gonna cost you sixty thousand [132:16] dollars [132:17] yeah the thing is when you come from [132:18] front wheel drive you know to rear-wheel [132:20] drive you essentially if you're driving [132:22] like a monkey it's not going to go well [132:24] it's it's going to be hard you're gonna [132:26] you're gonna have to really switch your [132:27] mentality and you got to do driving [132:28] stuff you got to do auto garage or [132:30] driving schools with it to learn how to [132:31] to control the rear wheel drive part but [132:33] once you do it's it's a really good [132:35] skill set to know how to wheel a [132:37] front-wheel drive car because there's [132:38] some skill to it and you know when you [132:40] switch over you'll you'll be very very [132:42] happy that you did let's just put it [132:44] that way the manual V8 R8 to be clear is [132:46] cooler than the Supra but okay only [132:48] afford sixty thousand dollars it means [132:49] you probably can't afford to fix it [132:51] exactly [132:53] um [132:56] oh crap [133:00] nah man I'm sorry let me find it [133:04] find it that's my fault I've done it [133:07] again mark [133:09] oh I found it killer Oz I sold my m2c [133:12] and bought a gr86 was because of you [133:13] guys thanks that being said should I [133:15] drop my oil pan for our TV and switch it [133:17] to 5W30 oil before I track it [133:22] probably yes though the biggest problem [133:24] killer Oz with the oil pan in that car [133:27] is not even just the RTV it's that it [133:28] can't maintain oil pressure and big [133:31] sweepers so [133:33] I mean [133:35] you could roll the dice if the car is [133:37] otherwise unmodified some dealers will [133:39] warranty it if it pops some don't they [133:42] should all warranty it [133:44] um but at the minimum yeah drop the RTV [133:47] and swap the five dollars I will say you [133:49] one other thing if you're not going to [133:50] drop the pan and do the RTV do not [133:52] switch to 5 30. stay to 0 20 because [133:54] you're gonna now you're gonna have a [133:56] thicker oil that can't flow through the [133:59] pickup if it's blocked or there's our TV [134:01] so don't switch the oil until you get [134:03] all that silicone out and maybe just as [134:06] a safety precaution run 020 after you do [134:08] the RTV run it for a couple thousand [134:11] miles and then dump the oil again before [134:13] you switch to a different oil weight [134:15] just as a safety measure mobs you know [134:17] and if you are going to keep the car [134:18] gonna get an oil cooler get a baffled [134:21] Oil pan this is only if you're tracking [134:22] right you talk about tracking right if [134:24] you're if you're doing Street stuff [134:25] don't worry about it yeah mobster for [134:27] two dollars favorite band brand of [134:29] hemorrhoid ointment I got a I got a big [134:32] one what what's your favorite what's [134:35] your favorite hemorrhoid green uh Mark [134:37] I'm not quite at your your illustrious [134:39] age yet so I got a couple more years to [134:41] worry Pro tip [134:43] Walmart generic [134:45] I mean you're gonna save two dollars a [134:48] tube and you're gonna be blowing through [134:49] that stuff no no ability some rubber [134:52] bands and just get rid of them [134:55] god dude thanks so much for your content [134:58] thinking about an M2 comp for a fun [135:00] weekend car mainly comparing to an E46 [135:03] M3 and an e86 z4m Coupe cheaper but no [135:07] warranty thoughts and considerations [135:10] uh the z4m coupe is a badass car [135:13] I would take that over an M2 comp any [135:15] day of the week [135:16] wouldn't you [135:19] yeah I had to think about it because I [135:22] just I don't know I don't I've never [135:24] liked the M2 I know everybody loves the [135:26] m2s but I just I feel like yeah to your [135:29] point the z4m is a far more unique Car [135:32] experience and the engine's incredible [135:34] yes [135:35] oh man I read this question earlier and [135:38] it's a ct5e black Wing my my pants are [135:40] getting tight mark Josh burnington thank [135:43] you for the ten dollars or Bennington I [135:45] apologize does the ct5e Black Wing [135:47] really have the capability to replace [135:49] two or more specialized experiences for [135:52] example a hot hatch for every day and [135:54] dedicated race car like an Exige for [135:57] track work no it does not it does not [136:00] have the ability to replace an Exige it [136:03] does have the ability to replace a hot [136:05] hatch and like a a luxury car it's not a [136:10] track car it is a big boat but if you [136:13] have the money to drive one every single [136:15] day and you can drive it like a monkey [136:16] there is no better car than the ct5v [136:19] Black Wing [136:20] I would not agree with you but I you're [136:23] wrong [136:25] supercharged it's another one of these [136:27] huge cars that relies on every single [136:29] electronic piece to keep it going fast [136:31] on the track yeah you just turn [136:33] everything off no I'm just saying it's [136:35] like it's so fast on a track it just it [136:38] is bewildering but it's using all the [136:40] electronics to make it go fast but it [136:42] does not feel good to do it it's funny [136:44] you're gonna set a fast lap time but [136:47] you're going to look at your tires and [136:48] your brakes and you're like [136:49] why did those go away so quick [136:51] to spend five thousand dollars to do [136:54] that after like three times at the track [136:56] Mark I went around turn one [136:59] in the ct5v black one with everything [137:02] off and I could not see behind me [137:04] because there was so much smoke and I [137:06] don't care about anything else you're [137:07] saying other than the fact that that car [137:09] will do that while driving it flat out I [137:12] literally felt like I was in a yacht [137:13] going flat out down the track it was an [137:16] incredible experience [137:18] my GM microchip is just a throbbing but [137:21] I [ __ ] love that car so much so much [137:25] this guy's nuts [137:27] it's not that good [137:29] it's good but it's not that it's [137:31] incredible just it's not exactly it's [137:33] gonna replace an exesia on the track I'm [137:35] sorry even though it's slow it's [137:38] Nothing's Gonna feel like that [137:40] no and Dr Grover I did not have to pay [137:43] for the brakes and the tires after that [137:45] that's why I think it's amazing the [137:46] reason of course yeah you had to pay 40 [137:48] wouldn't be doing that oh [ __ ] [137:52] oh [ __ ] no streaming oh there we go [137:56] let's see if we can get this done in 10 [137:58] minutes Mark we only have a couple more [137:59] questions I grew up around thank you for [138:02] the twenty dollars uh I grew up with a [138:05] family of Toyotas and Lexus and I just [138:08] bought a loaded is-350 over an A4 TLX [138:11] which I know you guys think are [138:12] technically Superior what are your [138:14] thoughts on spending money on this kind [138:16] of emotional connection to a brand new [138:17] style [138:23] I'll let you leave this one Mark I think [138:25] I I really like the is-350 I don't have [138:28] a problem with that I would rather have [138:29] it over it well the TLX is a tough one [138:32] uh just because I think the all-wheel [138:34] drive system is really good but there's [138:36] something about again it's about this [138:38] Toyota [138:39] it's the Toyota Lexus mentality you're a [138:42] different person if you like these [138:43] because you're valuing different things [138:45] about it that's why I like the is-350 I [138:47] think it's a unique car it's not trying [138:48] to be the other cars [138:51] um what about the emotional part of like [138:52] I think there's a lot of emotion to that [138:54] car it's not the best engine it's not [138:56] the gearbox but there's something unique [138:57] about it there's something uniquely [138:59] Japanese and Toyota about it and there's [139:02] that's an intangible about buying cars [139:04] you know people don't just buy it [139:05] because like you know it goes around a [139:07] corner faster it's quick in a straight [139:09] line or whatever that that's why I like [139:10] it it's not really you're feeling [139:12] something else that's not measurable [139:15] um [139:17] but yeah that's what I'm saying oh [139:19] that's all I'm gonna say [139:21] George Ivan thank you for the twenty [139:23] dollars the best thing about your [139:24] channel is not is not Mark's granddad's [139:27] story [139:30] but honesty and transparity transparency [139:32] you guys bring to auto reviews thank you [139:35] for everything you do much love from [139:36] Texas George thank you very much for the [139:39] twenty dollars yeah and the kind words [139:40] man yeah thank you obviously uh if [139:42] you're going back and watching the [139:43] beginning when I talked about my [139:44] grandfather I you're gonna have to [139:46] obviously not take my word seriously [139:48] because I think I mixed up what I said [139:50] about the best thing that happened to us [139:51] it was a stroke that's not what I meant [139:54] it was the story behind it [139:59] yeah no anyway that's what happens when [140:02] you do this stuff live but anyway nobody [140:04] cares it's it's still funny Extinction [140:06] 575 you guys are phenomenal thank you [140:09] for the hundred dollars by the way that [140:11] is a big boy donation uh you are very [140:14] kind for doing that uh we can never [140:16] repay you but um we'll pay you when [140:19] we're extinct we're gonna be extinct [140:22] soon thank you so much I appreciate it [140:24] man uh you're the reason I bought a [140:25] second car dc5 Integra and became a car [140:27] person in general really hope you guys [140:29] keep up the amazing work we are [140:31] definitely trying extinctions so thank [140:33] you very much for the 100 donation yeah [140:35] thank you uh be curious to see what you [140:36] think of the upcoming uh uh Integra and [140:39] Honda videos and stuff I don't know if [140:41] you're gonna like the new ones but [140:43] um I'm glad that you found the bug and [140:45] hopefully you don't go broke with your [140:46] car hobby uh not your Libre for ten [140:49] dollars so a software engineer and a [140:51] mechanical engineer are you looking for [140:52] an ee [140:54] um not yet if if I somehow land uh 10 [140:58] million dollars with the sponsorships [140:59] I'll have you electrically engineer all [141:01] over cameras [141:02] but no honestly not sure thank you for [141:04] the ten dollars yeah I if if I had extra [141:08] money I would have so much more help [141:10] definitely Doug for two dollars you uh [141:13] own an ATV or motorcycle anymore I used [141:16] to own a motorcycle Mark doesn't own [141:17] either yeah I don't own any I'm trying [141:20] to pair back my uh except you own how [141:22] many [ __ ] uh snowmobiles and uh [141:25] skidoos do you own that's I'm not even [141:27] jet skis I'm not getting into that I [141:30] mean I told Jack about how I was gonna [141:33] probably kick the bucket but I don't [141:34] want to get into that story because it's [141:36] kind of actually kind of gets personal [141:38] so I don't want to go there he his dream [141:40] in life is to ride a jet ski around to [141:42] make around McHenry to go to Blarney's [141:45] and then get it stuck on a sand barge [141:48] and die of a brain aneurysm that just [141:50] fall fall asleep or just pass out and [141:52] fall off my jet ski so they can recover [141:55] my body and my last thing is my lime [141:57] green vest going to a wet t-shirt [142:00] contest at Blarney's [142:03] uh Brazen rain Shut Up And Take My Money [142:06] well Brazen thank you for the two [142:07] dollars Marshall D for five dollars [142:10] uh what do you guys think about mid odds [142:13] to Mid 2010 Maseratis like the quantity [142:17] and the Gran Turismo with the ZF [142:20] um I've heard there's sneaky good picks [142:25] all right I will tell you my Maserati [142:27] story Mark Shut Up And Take My Money [142:28] thanks for the two dollars bruh you have [142:31] a good Maserati story what's the [142:34] I keep I keep uh going back to these old [142:36] ones man it's the last our very last [142:39] question oh wow okay cool [142:41] uh Marshall D 2010 Maseratis like the [142:45] Quattroporte and the Gran Turismo the [142:47] Cooper the synonym with the ZF I've [142:49] heard they're good picks would you ever [142:51] own a 20 odds Maserati [142:59] I don't know like it's weird like some [143:02] of these cars if I was in a different [143:04] place in my life I probably would just [143:06] this just to do it like some of these [143:09] not those specifically [143:12] um [143:14] the quadrupt Quattroporte and the [143:18] I don't know man what do you think would [143:20] you drive those [143:21] if you just had like throwaway money for [143:24] some of this stuff would you ever buy it [143:27] I have no emotional connection [143:29] whatsoever to the Maserati watch [143:31] reporting that's a problem I don't know [143:32] man I think the problem with those cars [143:34] is there's so much money to run while [143:35] they sound great they're not a sports [143:37] car experience [143:39] I don't know yeah that's a tough one I [143:41] see them once in a while and I'm like [143:44] um I'm like there's something about him [143:47] but not enough for me to to go in on [143:50] something like that [143:51] apparently we missed someone's question [143:53] how dare you I probably deleted it on [143:56] accident [143:57] uh it's a question from frames wild [144:00] frames back [144:01] a while ago [144:03] uh if I didn't answer your question or [144:06] if we didn't answer your questions find [144:07] us on it on Instagram or via our email [144:10] link to ask them away so [144:13] um if we didn't answer something I [144:15] apologize and I will personally kill [144:17] chin face for missing his question [144:23] but with that I also wanted to thank all [144:25] of you guys for sticking around for as [144:27] long as you have this was an over two [144:30] and a half hour process [144:32] and is there anything else you want to [144:34] talk about Mark before we wrap this up [144:35] so you can get back to editing the [144:37] world's longest Integra type yeah I [144:39] gotta finish unfortunately the only [144:41] reason I'm not keeping this going longer [144:43] is I have to finish editing tonight and [144:44] I'm gonna be up super late [144:46] um there's one more question that came [144:47] in [144:49] um from Michael any thoughts on the type [144:51] R as your ownership matures I like the [144:53] car more now than when I got it which is [144:55] a good sign I hope that I'm able to keep [144:57] it [144:58] um I've really enjoyed driving it and I [145:00] want to keep it nice [145:02] uh it's it's just uh it's the same thing [145:05] in the review if you watch the last [145:07] review I'm gonna have another video [145:08] about like the just the this car itself [145:11] so I'll I don't want to bore you with a [145:13] lot of it but yeah I do like it a lot I [145:15] I've liked it [145:16] as a regular car [145:18] um every time I get it and I really [145:19] enjoy the drive it's it's comfortable it [145:21] does everything that a normal car does [145:23] and it's somewhat fun to drive and a lot [145:25] of it has to do with the manual trans [145:26] I'll be honest like getting back in a [145:29] car with a good manual transmission [145:30] again is is definitely a big deal [145:34] um so that's that's kind of where I'm at [145:36] with it [145:38] okay [145:39] well with that I uh just any closing [145:42] thoughts anything you know to cover as [145:44] we're going into the next couple weeks [145:46] what do we got coming out so its Monday [145:48] and ticker Type S is Monday Friday is [145:50] probably MDX Type S or wrap-up video on [145:53] that following week will be Mazda 3 wrap [145:56] up so one of the earlier questions was [145:59] uh Mazda 3 and then so MDX Type S final [146:04] Integra Type S video launch video [146:08] cx90 oh yeah cx90 Mazda3 Mazda3 Subaru [146:12] Crosstrek we have a cross track we're [146:14] shooting a Lamborghini at the end of the [146:16] month we finish out our Mustang project [146:18] next month is there anything else we the [146:21] X7 I have to finish an X7 video like [146:23] ownership experience with it but that's [146:25] that's about it and then I have to edit [146:26] the NSX video which is going to take me [146:28] over a month yeah so with that guys I'm [146:31] gonna let Mark get back to and uh [146:34] uh editing the Integra Type S I will [146:37] pound my chest for you young barbecue [146:40] the next time I have a V8 powered [146:42] vehicle to pound my chest for you in but [146:44] with that I think we'll end this [146:46] broadcast yeah thank you so much [146:47] everybody for coming in I know this is a [146:49] big time commitment and hopefully it was [146:51] somewhat entertaining you got to learn [146:53] something from it and uh we're gonna try [146:55] to do another one of these next month [146:57] where I have more time once we're done [146:58] with these projects we'll be able to [147:00] cover more content and obviously getting [147:02] to more relay questions and stories and [147:04] stuff of like if we have a little more [147:06] time I think when we originally [147:07] scheduled this we thought we'd have more [147:09] than two hours to talk to you guys yeah [147:10] and our plan is to do this more often [147:12] probably [147:14] or later we'll probably pull you guys to [147:17] figure out what day makes the most sense [147:19] to do uh live stream so we can hit up as [147:22] many people as possible sometimes we do [147:24] it when we get five or six thousand [147:26] people watching or sometimes we get a [147:27] thousand so I want to make sure we can [147:28] get as many people together to answer [147:31] your questions at once if that makes [147:33] sense I I actually really enjoy doing [147:35] this I know it just takes forever and [147:36] I'm sure most people are bored but I [147:38] this is like the best this is the [147:40] closest I get from interacting to people [147:42] on here [147:43] yeah honestly because when when are we [147:45] ever going to get to to do anything [147:47] uh the the meats we just don't have time [147:49] to go to meats and stuff so it kind of [147:51] sucks [147:52] but anyway yeah thanks again guys thanks [147:54] again see you later
