[00:00] And welcome to Neverwinter Nights again. So, the Feast of Lanterns event is now live. We can go and pick up our quests and grind out the currency to obtain some pretty cool rewards. Firstly, we speak to her, blah blah blah, and then [00:14] we have to speak to these two guys here. We can see the quest under our mini-map there. We literally just have to learn about the Feast of Lanterns. We can also pick up a repeatable quest here, where we have to find fledglings and basically [00:28] give them envelopes, I believe. Anyway, we'll go and find, let's say, one guy over here. You just want to have a look on your map. But, these fledgling adventurers will have the golden question mark above their head. And you [00:41] can just click one one one and that will be them finished talking to. We have another guy in the Custodian's Market there, another fledgling. We can speak to this guy just here and we can get also a repeatable quest from him, which [00:55] will be load mortars, which will be where we have to travel up north up over here. And you can also load mortars up top. So, let's finish the find [01:07] fledgling adventures. We have another guy here just outside Sage's Shop. We speak to him real quick. That's that quest taken care of. We just go complete real quick the mortars quest, where you're just going to have to head up [01:20] them. So, you have another set of them up here, another set just symmetrically over here. And again, the fourth one just on this little ledge here. Same as [01:32] what we had with the first one we got. Now, that completes that quest. However, we still have to finish it by viewing the fireworks display, which you will do so just down here. And you interact with like the ground. There we go. And then, [01:46] we should get a cutscene, where you get some beautiful fireworks going off. speak to the vendor here. And finally, once you've done that, you can unlock [01:58] the store at the vault available. So, unfortunately, this time around we aren't able to get like the ox stat. We aren't able to get like last year's rat pup, either. We can just get this New Year's festive tiger, which is a mount, [02:13] along with the festive tiger augment companion with decent stats. Very good competitive for the Owlbear cub, if you don't want to be spending that much astral diamonds on it. And we can finish those repeatable quests. Now, mainly [02:27] just give you lunar coins and tiger coins. And then, we can speak to the guy again and that finishes that. And back to the vendor and complete that quest. And they gave you those repeatable quests again. And you can just keep [02:41] doing it. You can find the fledgling guys and give them envelopes or you can load mortars. And this guy will also give us another one, where we can actually get a pet emote, where we can comfort dogs. So, this is one I haven't [02:53] shown you guys. You basically want to go around and you'll hear those whining dogs. Here's one of them. They're all scared of the fireworks. Now, what you can do, what's very good way to grind this, is actually to farm this fledgling [03:05] dogs one in a party. You just continue each each person will go get a dog and that should finish the entire quest. Doing it solo takes definitely a bit longer looking for your dogs. Now, again, like with the Halloween event, [03:20] I'm pretty sure the dogs are always in the same spots. So, once you learn where they are, it's fairly straightforward. If you have your sound on, you can sometimes hear them just whining. And we can find those fledgling adventures [03:32] while we're at it as well. And there's our last dog, fledgling adventure there, another one here, and the last fledgling guy just here. And that completes those two quests fairly quickly. And again, you're just handing them back in. We got [03:46] the pet emote there. And here, we get some more lunar coins and tiger coins. And then, you can see they will give you those quests again. And you can keep farming it. And you can see, you can have a look at view wares. And you can [03:59] farm this for the moshe, which is all right, but it's not as good as it once was, since it has power and hit points. That used to be good, but no longer, cuz you want both offensive or both defensive. Same with this other food and [04:12] is any good this year. This food with the matter right now is not good. However, you could take the moshe and that'll help you on a healer for a bit of survivability, along with the power. Usually, we're using watermelon sorbet [04:28] for 5% power and 5% accuracy. And accuracy is useless on a healer. So, this will be better with your defense or your hit points. Otherwise, you get a bunch of fireworks. You can get some fashion there, like a sword. And you can [04:42] also then get the New Year's tiger, along with the festive tiger, which will only cost you 10 of those tiger coins. We'll need 240 of these marks here to [04:54] actually get the mount. So, let's do that real quick. And so, after a short bit of grinding with some friends, my thanks to Shadine and Sai, we can go and hand in our last two quests here. Again, you're just simply repeating both quests [05:09] again and again. You can also do the mortars up top, if you wanted again. But, otherwise, we can go and view her wares. And we can go purchase the New Year's tiger, along with the new festive tiger augment companion. Now, if you [05:24] didn't already obtain it, you will might have this pet emote, which I believe you can just double-click. And then, if you type in {forward slash} EM pet, then you can go and pet something. See, you get that same emote just there. And if you [05:40] have the new mount, which interestingly enough has a different combat power than much like tunnel vision. So, let's go and bind this mount. And there we have [05:56] it on our character. We can have a look at the appearance of it. And here's our our festive tiger. It feels exactly like every other tiger mount that you would have ridden around on. It's just a bit more fancy and has some armor, which is [06:09] tinged a bit pink there. Then, for our companion, we can go double-click and bind that one as well. We're going to have just a nice cute little companion, this festive tiger, which is just going to follow us around. We can see it on [06:24] festive tiger upgraded. We may as well get him to mythic there. It says it's a tiger, when I already have an Owlbear companion. But, the big contender for [06:39] this guy is he has combat advantage, crit severity, and forte. When you look at said Owlbear, which many of us would use as an augment companion in your trial, you can see the only difference is the accuracy. The Owlbear gives the [06:52] accuracy and this new festive tiger just gives forte instead. Forte is just a split, depending on your class. You can see that. It's 50% power and then 25% good, actually. So, now we can have this little guy following us around and it'll [07:10] just give us a boost to those stats. As for the mount itself, we may as well also get this guy upgraded. We go and upgrade him to mythic and we can check out his combat power and see what it's like. So, here we have the combat power [07:24] here. We can have a look at it and it's still 1,000 magnitude even at mythic. And I'm assuming that was a visual bug that it was showing 1,000 magnitude on lower levels. Now, let's have a look quick against some dummies and see if [07:38] it's AoE or if it's just single target. So, we go up here, we can hit these dummies and then we use the combat power and our guy rushes in. And that is AoE. That's pretty good. As for what the target cap is or any of that, I don't [07:53] be any better than if you were to just use the Magician's inspiration or the whirlwind. It's still got pretty much highest magnitude for an AoE power, [08:06] which is 1,000. So, not bad and definitely usable in AoE, I would imagine, especially if you get those enemies nicely lined up for it. So, overall, that's this event. The most efficient way to farm it is simply [08:20] repeat the two quests. Again, you can see us here doing it, just in a group of three. In a group of five, this would be even faster. Just make sure you finish handing the quests together and then pick the quests up again before you head [08:33] out. And overall, you're just doing the same two quests, red envelopes and comfort your cowardly dogs. So, let's just check this combat power again real quick. We go here, we attack the dummies, we summon our festive tiger, [08:46] and he just rushes through the guys, which is pretty awesome. He definitely procs our poison thorn as well. I will have to do some more testing in party content, how effective that may be. So, again, this Feast of Lanterns event, [08:59] nothing really special. Sure, pretty good augment you can pick up. You can even sell it on the auction house. And otherwise, a pretty cool unique mount. unfortunately. Same as goes with the event food. Some decent options there [09:14] for a healer, this new moshe. It's been there last year and it's pretty good just to buff power and also max HP for some more survivability. So, again, I'd keep my channel going. If I presented this well, consider leaving the video [09:29] around. Goodbye for now.
