## Summary

This short video by Simplilearn contrasts traditional prompt-based AI with the emerging paradigm of agentic AI. It explains how prompt-based AI requires human instruction, while agentic AI can independently plan tasks, make decisions, and complete workflows.

### Key Points

- **Prompt-Based AI Defined** [00:03] — For the last few years, most AI tools have worked by waiting for human prompts. This is known as prompt-based AI and can generate summaries, write emails, and generate code when used.
- **Agentic AI Introduced** [00:16] — A new approach called agentic AI is growing. Instead of waiting for instructions, agentic AI can plan tasks, make decisions, and complete workflows on its own.
- **Concrete Example of Agentic AI** [00:30] — For example, instead of simply writing a summary, an AI agent can gather information, organize it, prepare the summary, schedule meetings, and send updates automatically. This makes work much faster and more efficient.
- **Industries to Be Transformed** [00:43] — Many experts believe agentic AI will transform industries like customer service, business operations, and track development. It's about building intelligent systems that can act independently.
