# Did Dataminers just find Classic+...?

> Source: [Did Dataminers just find Classic+...?](https://youtube.com/watch?v=pxSWcPFVOfg)

## Summary

The video discusses recent data mines that uncovered a new World of Warcraft build codenamed 'Camelot' on Blizzard's internal servers, with a patch number of 1.6—far beyond any previous Classic patch. The host speculates that this could be the long-rumored 'Classic Plus' project, supported by Blizzard's shutdown of private servers and official teases. However, a leaked timeline suggesting simultaneous releases of Classic Plus and Wrath Classic is met with skepticism.

### Key Points

- **Camelot Data Mine** [0:00] — A data mine revealed a new build on Blizzard's internal servers with patch number 1.6, codenamed 'Camelot'.
- **Patch 1.6 Significance** [2:36] — Patch 1.6 is a significant jump from the expected 1.16, suggesting a major new project beyond minor updates.

- **Private Server Shutdowns** [1:10] — Private servers Ascension and Turtle WoW were shut down, mirroring the pattern that preceded Classic WoW's launch.
- **Leaked Timeline** [6:52] — A leaked image suggests Camelot (Classic Plus) and Wrath Classic could launch together in late 2026, but the host hopes it's fake due to poor timing.

## Transcript

World of Warcraft Classic, Camelot,
which is data mined. Is this the video
we're watching? Hammerdance?
Hammerdance, you might be in the chat.
He's in the chat a lot in the mornings.
We could just watch this video unless
there's something like
a better one. Hammerdance has some good
content though.
Okay, here is the tweet.
With the Camelot data mined last night,
it gives a lot of Well, hold on. Before
I look at this tweet, we should look at
the data mine,
which I think is this video unless
there's other tweets. This seems to be
like after.
It's just that they found builds on
internal servers. Data miners may have
just uncovered the next iteration of
Wildstar Classic. So, everyone was
blowing me up about this yesterday
when I was playing Minecraft, and I was
like, "Guys, link it to me tomorrow
morning." And now today is tomorrow
morning.
Well, today is yesterday's tomorrow
morning.
Well, Blizzard continues their fight
against private servers. Apparently,
Ascension is also getting shut down.
One day ago.
Uh
Okay, that's that's not in this article.
Apparently, Ascension is getting shut
down as well. And Oh, yeah, here it is.
With the recent injunction against
Ascension and their win against Turtle
Wow,
guys, Nostalrius got shut down and we
got Classic Wow.
Turtle Wow and Ascension are getting
shut down.
Let me ask a quick question for the
chat.
How many of you guys think I'm on
Classic Plus Copium now?
Huh?
Yeah? I've been saying this for what? A
year and a half.
And
Copium circle. How many of you are still
out there? Show yourselves. None? Okay,
finally, we're all on the same page.
There we go. There it is. Guys, Classic
Plus has been confirmed for like a year
now, but like we're getting even more
confirmations on the daily. What's this?
When Blizzard continues their fight
against private servers in the community
speculates about the future of Wild
Classic, Stiven, who's Stiven?
Working at Wowhead. Okay, he's a Wowhead
worker. Has recently shared that heroic
and epic version versions of a World of
Warcraft amulet were discovered.
New heroic and epic licenses for the
World of Warcraft Camelot Can't Camelit
Camelot were pushed. Not much info about
it, but it looks like a brand new Wild
game unrelated to the current Midnight
and Titan. I suspect Classic Plus
everyone's talking about. Okay, I did
look more and I can confirm it 100%
patch 1.6 is main line Camelot. While
Blizzard has not officially revealed any
information related to this new main
line game, it has been confirmed that it
is related to this mysterious patch 1.6.
What is 1.6?
Just in the in the files.
So, Season of Mastery is 1.14.
Classic Anniversary is 1.15.
Because of standardized pattern of the
patch numbers over time, one might
expect any new version of Classic to
begin with 1.16. However, a new build on
Blizzard's internal servers have
discovered which greatly surpasses any
patch number we have seen in the past,
1.60.
Okay.
So, 1.0 is Classic Wild. 1.6 I guess is
Classic Plus.
Beyond Classic Wild. Okay. New Warcraft
build found internal to Wild Dev 5.5 to
1.6 found at 10:24
2025.
They found this a year ago?
What do you mean 2025? This is a year
old?
Yo, Kobe, thanks for the prime. TXBoot,
thanks for the prom.
With all of these various teases from
the Blizzard yearbook, I'm so happy we
have all the links here from the
Blizzard yearbook. So, they have like
the little pluses here.
Uh streamers visiting Blizzard campus.
What? This doesn't mean anything.
Okay, this doesn't mean anything at all.
Don't know what this is about. That's
weird.
Um and executive producer Holly Longdale
being
theoretically cut off before announcing
the state of Azeroth.
>> We also launched seasonal Titan reforged
realms in classic for our players in
China. Why? Not only are our audiences
between modern and classic unique, but
so are our wild players in China. We
made those realms for them based on how
they play. And that's not all we're
cooking up. I can say with confidence
that all classic players across the
globe have a lot to look forward to.
I'm really excited to announce that
I guess we'll save that for later.
>> There it is, guys. There it is. Um
and this should have also been in the
Wowhead article. To me, this was like
the biggest confirmation. This was
uh
over a year ago now. Wow, over 1 year
ago. The end of SOD, work on next major
project begins. This is when they
announced Classic Plus.
Essentially, and everyone's like, "Oh,
copium's are." But like now now that all
the copium Andys have left the building,
thankfully.
Um but they say it
here.
The future of Season of Discovery is
somewhat bittersweet as we've made a
decision to slow down on SOD and begin
work on our next major project in the
original WoW design space. So, the
confirmation was about a year ago now.
But sorry, that's copium. There's no
classic.
I love it.
I love it.
I love it. Um anyway,
whatever this Project Camelot turns out
to be, Blizzard is apparently
considering two separate purchase
options for the game once it becomes
available, with these versions including
exclusive mounts, cosmetics, and toys.
Oh gosh. Oh gosh.
Like the classic bundles, or will they
include the 3-day early access similar
to Midnight's epic edition? Only time
will tell, but we hope to learn more
about this upcoming project at BlizzCon
2026 this September.
Well, I do, too.
I'm hoping to learn more
in BlizzCon 2026 this September, and
it's getting close, so hopefully we
learn more.
There it is.
I mean, yeah.
Private server shutdowns, confirmations,
more confirmations.
More confirmations. What el- I mean,
what else do you guys want? It like what
What else do you guys want? Oh, yeah,
now we can go back to this. With the
Camelot data mines, this is what we're
all coming back.
With the Camelot data mine last night,
it gives a lot of credence to this
leaked image. Camelot likely classic
plus end of year 2026, Wrath end of
2026.
Dude, if if Camelot is classic plus, and
they launch Wrath and and Camelot at the
same time,
that would be the worst timing ever,
Blizzard.
What? Oh, yeah, let's just relaunch the
most successful expansion of all time
along with our new thing. What?
Or early 2027, then another round of
fresh in 2028.
Classic fresh?
Wrath?
I hope this is fake.
Do you guys Ones in the chat if this is
fake, twos in the chat if you think this
is real. I hope this is fake. It's like
classic fresh again TBC for the fourth
blee please
tell me this is fake.
Yeah, this is this is got to be fake.
This is 100% if they do another fresh
classic
and they do wrath and then this Camelot
classic plus this close together.
If this is real this is got to be the
worst timeline I've ever seen. Blizzard
if you're watching I love you guys. If
this is real I I'm not meaning to
hate on you guys but this is a really
bad plan.
You guys know my number if you want to
plan things out better than this. This
is not good. Um classic fresh TBC
really not good.
Arthas
Arthas
World of Warcraft. Yeah, this has got to
be fake.
This has got to be completely fake.
Camelot Camelot might be season based
from what I've heard. Yeah, hopefully
not. Hopefully we don't get more
seasonal stuff.
What are the tabs? Do they use Blizzard
stuff? I don't know.
Like this? I can't really read it.
This is from a over a year ago. How do
you know?
People have linked this out as if it's
like brand new.
L seasonal wow I kind of agree with
that. Yeah.
Um okay.
Um I I like yeah. I think
this data mine stuff
definitely
seems pretty legit. It seems
very in line with every other hint we've
seen.
It's almost expected at this point that
this was going to like yeah it's like
yeah. Yeah, this data mine stuff seems
very legit. This screenshot
I hope is fake
because it doesn't look good. So, I hope
this is a fake screenshot. It probably
is a fake screenshot, but all this data
mine stuff like yeah, yeah, we were
expecting something like this. Yeah,
definitely. Cool.
Um all right, we've covered Camelot.
We will watch this video another time.
Is there anything else or should we get
into preparation?
