## Transcript

increasingly absurd. When you open a stream on Twitch , it very often happens that you are shown advertisements first. In this case, it's only about 30 seconds, but the advertisement at the beginning of the stream can be up to 3 minutes long.
option to disable your advertising for viewers before the stream via the advertising manager by going to Monetization and then Advertising on the left side of the Creator Dashboard side of the Creator Dashboard
But you can find that option at the very bottom.  Disable preroll ads; disable ads before the run ads.  And it says it again here: this only works if you actively place ads in your stream every 60 minutes, for at least 3 minutes;
then no ads will appear before your stream. I mean, yes, this whole option with the ad manager, how many minutes should run per hour? At least three, so that the advertising before the stream is activated or
deactivated. Yes, that's been around for a while. However, what has become very common lately, and what didn't exist before, is the intensity of advertising. I mean, I just have a minute and 40 seconds here, and that's
not just on the PC, but also on the smartphone. And what happens when new viewers join your stream and have to watch 3 minutes of advertising on their smartphones? Yes, I think most people switch off. Let
me know in the comments if you use the ad manager to disable preroll ads, or if you've noticed the frequent and very long ads you've noticed the frequent and very long ads on Twitch lately.
