[00:01] video. Today, we're going to talk about renown, and more specifically, we're going to talk about the brand new renown of patch 12.1, and that is Zul'jara's forces. And in this video, we're going to look at all of the brand new rewards
[00:15] that are coming from this 20-level renown, which is being added in the before we get into that, guys, I do want to let you know that I am streaming over on twitch.tv/mrgm. We've been streaming the 12.1 PTR every
[00:28] to check me out testing the all right so yes patch 12.1 testing is fully underway with various builds coming now, and the patch rumored to be
[00:40] launching in August, and a lot of things are falling into place. And one of those things is the brand new renown Zul'jara's forces. Now, this renown is based on the Coiled Isle. This is the new patch zone of 12.1, and you're going
[00:54] mentioned, this is a 20-level renown with rewards for every 20 levels, and you're going to need a lot of Voidlight Motes, spoilers. So, hopefully you've got a lot saved up for some of these new rewards. So, yeah, let's just jump into
[01:07] rewards you can expect from the Coiled Isle. So, at renown one, obviously there's no rewards here. This is just follow where Zul'jara leads. So, this is where you begin earning renown for Zul'jara's forces. At renown two, this
[01:20] unlocks a brand new cloak, the Cloak of the Hasherat. This is going to set you back 3,000 Voidlight Motes. Also, at renown two, we have Curse Breaker's Bracers one. So, speak to Chansery the Watchful on the Coiled Isle about
[01:32] this is a one-time quest for you to do a curse search, which is an event on the Coiled Isle, and this will reward a veteran wrist armor. So, we've seen similar quests like this in 12.0 with the Swarm and Legends of the Harronir
[01:45] this will unlock some decor. You can purchase the Armani Supply Sack for 150, the Armani Storage Crate for 150, and the Armani Wayfarer's Torch for 150. You
[01:57] also have Spoils of Coils. This unlocks some smaller treasures around the Coiled Isle that just contain Copper Key Shards and things like that. At renown four, we have Curse Surges one. It says Curse Surge bosses now drop one Corrosive Soul
[02:09] per day, which can be used to apply corrosive effects to belts and braces. They're just ongoing events around the Coiled Isle, similar to Void Assaults that end with a boss. This upgrade here will drop Corrosive Souls. This is an
[02:23] item that comes from world content and it will also come from delves and prey. And you use it to enchant your braces or belt with a new effect. Now, every time you enchant it, it is RNG on what effect you get, and there's an item in game
[02:36] where you can view the full list of 12 effects that this item can potentially enchant your braces and belt with. You're going to get so many of these in probably going to be like one or two effects which are going to be the best
[02:49] I'll make a short about it or something like that, but at renown four, these are Surges. At renown five, you're going to unlock some new recipes for the lowers gathering, the Concentrated Silver-Lined Health Potion, the Rite of the Hashe,
[03:03] the Vantus Rune, the Contract of the Zoldrak's Forces, the schematic for the Coiled Hookshot, the formula for the Keen Hex Mask, the pattern for the Flat Snakeskin Canopy, and the plans for the Armani Forge Master's Workbench. So,
[03:16] yeah, some decor there and some really helpful items like Vantus Runes and to purchase a fishing recipe to create a Ulatek Snakehead Lure, uh and you can buy this from the Renown Vendor. At renown six, this is going to unlock some
[03:29] profession knowledge tomes. Uh these are going to cost you 75 Moxy of the profession and 750 Voidlight Motes each, and they give you 10 profession knowledge each. You're also going to get a handful of Voidlight Motes, so that's
[03:42] you'll unlock some more decor you can purchase. This includes the Stitched Blisterfang Bag for 150, the Fanged Scaleskin Pouch for 150, and the Vile Scar Weapon Rack for two. At renown eight, this will unlock spirit
[03:57] corrosion one. Basically, what this is is a free talent point for the altar of corrosion, which is the zone wide talent tree of the coiled isle. The main way of getting a talent point on this tree is just handing in currency, but at renown
[04:09] eight, you will get a talent point for free from reaching that renown. Also at another upgrade with the bosses from curse surges having a daily chance to drop a warbound piece of veteran gear. So, that could be good for some early
[04:23] upgrade the treasures that you find around the coiled isle. And also at renown nine, your one-time world event activity for gear will be upgraded to champion wrist armor from just doing a
[04:36] nine. At renown 10, this is going to unlock a new tabard, the tabard of Hashura. It's going to cost you 3,000 void light maw. And you're also going to get the spirit of Tok'zara. This is actually a mount that you can unlock
[04:49] through a quest line that begins at renown 10. No idea how the quest line like. Looks like one of those kind of a Beatrice seal mounts, but in sort of a Zul'aman eagle. Looks like a pretty cool looking mount. So, yeah, at renown 10,
[05:02] you'll be able to start your quest line to unlock it. At renown 11, you can purchase some more decor including the wrapped scale skin urn for 150, the cracked vile scar urn for 150, and the charmed blisterfang urn for 150 as well.
[05:17] At renown 12, I've got to appreciate this. The name is Dis is Snek. Perfect. This renown unlock is actually for a baby wind serpent pet for 2,500 void light maw. Also at renown 12, you will get some more void light maw from the
[05:31] renown vendor. At renown 13, you'll be able to purchase the idol of Ulatek. Uh this is a toy with the description "Worship the idol to transform into a transforms you into those new snake men, the sort of Sethrak looking ones, uh for
[05:45] 1 hour with a 10-minute cooldown. So, if you're into that kind of thing, you can be a snake most of the time. At renown 14, we get another free talent point for the altar of corrosion talent tree. At renown 15, we have some more decor. We
[05:59] have the Armani worship candle for 150, the Armani ritual candles for 150, and the Armani ritual totem for 250. This will also unlock access to purchasing a weapon arsenal, the arsenal armaments of the lower. Uh this includes 13 brand new
[06:16] Armani weapon appearances. This is going to cost you 5,000 void light maw, uh but getting those weapon appearances pretty easily at renown 15. At renown 16, we This is a new cosmetic shoulder appearance and is going to cost you
[06:31] 3,000 void light maw. At renown 17, you can now purchase the indigo coiled horror maw for 6,000 void light maw. This is a new snake ground maw, which is basically just three snakes kind of wrapped together, and this is the purple
[06:44] and blue variant that you'll be able to purchase at renown 17. At renown 18, we This includes the sealed serpentine reliquary for 250, the opened serpentine reliquary for 250, the opened serpentine reliquary for 250, and the Ulatek ritual
[06:59] monolith for 250 as well. This will also unlock some cosmetic ensembles. These are a recolor of the new world set from 12.1. You can get the cloth version, the leather version, the mail version, and the plate version for 5,000 void light
[07:14] maw for each set. Speaking of void light maw, you will also get some void light maw from the renown vendor at renown 18. At renown 19, this is going to unlock another maw. This is the violet backed skyfang maw. This is a purple wind
[07:27] serpent maw. There's a few wind serpent maws in 12.1, but this is the one from the renown in a kind of purple variant, and that's going to cost you 8,000 void light maw. And finally, at renown 20, we have a new title. This is the Hashura of
[07:39] Zul'jara will be the title. You're also going to unlock access to the Mantle of Nor'lak, which is a cosmetic shoulder piece for 5,000 Void Light Maul. And the Axe of the Armani, which is a two-handed axe transmog that looks
[07:53] pretty great and is also 5,000 Void Light Maul. So, I mean, quick maths, Maul you're going to need for all of these items, but yeah, there you go. expect from Zul'jara's forces in patch 12.1. Let me know your thoughts in the
