## Summary

A humorous, scene-by-scene breakdown of 'Jurassic World: Rebirth', highlighting the best moments, character dynamics, and what works in the latest Jurassic entry, while acknowledging its flaws and how it fits into the franchise.

### Key Points

- **Hybrids and Mutants from Day One** [00:13] — The video argues that Jurassic World has always been about mutants and hybrids, referencing the Indominus Rex's active camo and the Locusts in Fallen Kingdom.
- **Character Death Rules** [01:06] — Commentary on the classic Jurassic trope where characters make foolish decisions, knowing they are in the opening of a Jurassic film where someone must die.
- **Scarlett Johansson's Salary** [01:47] — Mention that Scarlett Johansson made $15-20 million for this movie, highlighting the fun banter between characters.
- **Trailer vs Movie Pacing** [02:56] — The moment where a character's proposal about an illegal drug is revealed; in the trailer it feels corny, but the full scene's pacing and facial reactions make it work.
- **Emotional Depth in Dialogue** [05:00] — A conversation between characters about a lost child never feels like exposition because of the heavyweight actors Mahershala Ali and Scarlett Johansson.
- **Mosasaurs Terror** [06:34] — The mosasaurus scene is terrifying despite knowing the family likely survives, and the smaller, more accurate depiction is appreciated.
- **Classic Line Reversal** [07:54] — The line 'We found it? No, it found us' is praised as a classic Yakov Smirnov-style reversal that elevates the scene.
- **Spinosaurus Attack and Brutality** [08:37] — The accidental discharge of a dart gun and the rapid Spinosaurus attack demonstrate the mission's under preparedness, with a brutal death gurgled under water.
- **Human Stupidity and Nukes** [11:18] — A line about humans creating nukes that could annihilate us is seen as a smart observation, regardless of political views.
- **Naming Dolores** [13:54] — The character naming a dinosaur Dolores is called 'A+ no notes' for its charm.
- **T-Rex Attack and Realism** [15:19] — The T-Rex attack is praised for its realism, including the T-Rex whimpering from pain and the logic of the river rocks preventing it from climbing.
- **Open Source Drug Debate** [17:21] — The film's proposal to open source a groundbreaking drug is dissected, noting that billions can still be made without owning the exclusive patent.
- **Mutant Introduction and Design** [19:31] — The mutant (D-Rex) is introduced effectively, and its design is compared to Xenomorphs, with the reveal being staggering and scary.
- **Zora's Sacrifice** [22:27] — The character Zara's self-sacrifice to protect a child is shot beautifully and mirrors previous Jurassic moments, making it a standout heroic act.
- **Overall Franchise Thoughts** [23:48] — The video concludes that while Rebirth has fun pieces and feels classic in some ways, it lacks enough dinosaur presence and the monsters feel like beasts without visual rules, which diminishes the Jurassic feel.

### Conclusion

Ultimately, 'Jurassic World: Rebirth' offers entertaining moments and a return to basics in terror, but its overemphasis on monsters and lack of dinosaur screen time may leave franchise fans wanting more.
