you guys so I am actually half [5:54] French Canadian and half Filipino but [5:57] comment in the live chat what your eth C [6:00] is or just post the flag of where you're [6:02] from but I guess the curse of my ethnic [6:05] background is that I was always a super [6:08] skinny kid so like especially in high [6:10] school I just never really felt [6:11] confident about my body I'd see [6:14] superheroes on TV and actors like Chris [6:16] Hemsworth Brad Pit and even athletes [6:19] like Cristiano Ronaldo and I was like [6:21] damn I want to look like them but then [6:24] there I was looking like a stick and [6:26] just feeling weak which is what [6:29] eventually got me into working out but [6:32] it seemed like no matter what I did I [6:34] just wasn't getting very good results [6:36] and to make matters worse there was just [6:38] so much conflicting advice out there [6:41] like I ended up trying all kinds of [6:43] crazy diets and workouts I remember [6:45] seeing the incredibly jacked Rocky baloa [6:48] drink raw eggs in his movie and I [6:51] thought that's what I have to do and I [6:54] did it four whole eggs raw I can't [6:57] believe I actually swallowed it it was [6:59] disgusting [7:00] but I was honestly willing to do [7:02] anything just to get better results but [7:04] still nothing was really working even [7:06] the raw eggs didn't work and I honestly [7:09] thought that my Asian genetics were what [7:12] was holding me back but my mom who is [7:16] the same one who cursed me with my Asian [7:19] genetics she's also a doctor and let me [7:22] tell you about her she was born in the [7:24] slums in the Philippines literally [7:26] sleeping with rats every night but she [7:28] overcame All Odds she made it into med [7:31] school here in Canada she became a [7:33] successful doctor with her own clinic [7:36] and at the same time provided my [7:37] brothers and I with an incredible [7:39] childhood but the thing about her guys [7:41] is that she truly loves helping people [7:45] she's almost 70 years old now but still [7:47] works so hard every single day because [7:49] she loves it and so growing up I saw [7:52] firsthand how she was using science to [7:54] diagnose patients guide her decisions [7:57] and completely change people's lives for [7:59] the better [8:00] and so I wondered why can't I do that [8:02] with Fitness use science YouTube channel and share all this [9:06] amazing science I've been obsessing [9:08] about so not only did I get an instant [9:11] slipper slap from my mom but making [9:14] videos was not easy for me like I'm a [9:17] big introvert so talking to the camera [9:19] scared the hell out of me even right now [9:21] I'm nervous talking to you guys but guys [9:24] like I was so awkward at first it's [9:26] painful to watch back I'm actually going [9:27] to pop up a snippet from my first ever [9:30] hey guys thank you so much for watching [9:32] I hope you enjoyed my transformation [9:33] video experience with it so most of us have [29:23] stubborn muscles that refuse to grow as [29:24] fast as others as well as stronger [29:26] muscle groups that grow much faster [29:28] faster for example some people have [29:30] really big shoulders but a really flat [29:32] stubborn chest some people's lower [29:35] bodies May grow faster than their upper [29:36] body and some people's arms for example [29:39] grow really well from presses and rows [29:42] whereas others need a lot of direct [29:43] armor and yet despite these differences [29:46] most people use a training program that [29:48] doesn't take this into account I know [29:50] this because it happened to be [29:52] firstand I've always had a really [29:54] stubborn chest but my shoulders and my [29:56] arms were super easy for me to grow yet [29:59] I would always work on my shoulders and [30:01] arms just as hard as my chest because I [30:03] was just following generic workouts and [30:05] that is why in the app it says [33:43] maintain weight for this set stick to [33:46] the same weight but try to do more than [33:47] eight reps so as you can see guys every [33:51] single set is just guiding me through my [33:54] workout and it uses my data from my last [33:56] workout right it looks at okay [33:58] how much weight did Jeremy do how many [33:59] reps did he do and what was the effort [34:01] of that set and it uses a science back [34:03] algorithm to determine what's the next [34:06] best step for jerey to take so it takes [34:09] care of everything for you guys trust me [34:10] it is it is like my fitness pal so how exactly [66:28] is built with science plus different and [66:31] this is a great question and to answer [66:34] this let me pop up how over here so he [66:37] like many of you guys watching had [66:39] already tried counting his calories in [66:41] the past but he never really saw any [66:43] results and he also found it just super [66:45] tedious so he was investing a make this clear the problem [112:43] with a lot of Fitness and Nutrition [112:44] plans out there is they just aren't [112:46] sustainable sure you might get really [112:48] good results in eight weeks following a [112:50] super strict meal plan work routine but [112:53] like what happens after eventually you [112:55] just get right back to where you started [112:57] because there's no way you [120:48] own meals but take Daniel here right [120:50] incredible transformation [120:52] now would you believe me if I said this [120:54] transformation was done all just with [120:57] resistance bands and his body weight see [120:59] during covid like many of us he had no [121:02] access to equipment but in his bill with [121:04] science program we taught him how to [121:05] make use of
