[0:00] hey everyone it's your boy Zev here and [0:02] today I'm going to be explaining all the [0:03] power scaling terms in this one [0:05] comprehensive video I'll be using some [0:07] definitions and examples from different [0:08] websites so just Buckle in and let's [0:10] enjoy don't forget to leave a like [0:11] comment subscribe and check out that [0:13] donation link if you want to request a [0:14] video starting with arguably the most [0:16] important term we have attack potency [0:17] attack potency not to be confused with [0:20] DC or to start the capacity is the [0:22] amount of energy or distracted capacity [0:23] a single attack can't produce a good way [0:26] to break this confusing line of [0:27] reasoning down is using a character like [0:29] bang for one punch man bank has the [0:31] power to harm and damage Elder centipede [0:33] a mountain sized monster with an equally [0:35] durable shell this would give bang [0:37] Mountain level AP but it doesn't mean [0:39] that this same Punch or attack has been [0:41] shown to destroy a mountain or even [0:42] could just harm those with durability or [0:45] AP or distract capacity Feats similar to [0:47] that AP is basically the damage or [0:49] energy equivalent of a destructive feat [0:51] we use AP mainly because not every [0:53] character has destructive Feats to give [0:55] them proper scaling for example if we [0:58] only use destructive Feats of people [0:59] like Goku and Dragon Ball Z not super he [1:01] wouldn't have any solid Feats based on [1:03] who he defeats making it hard to argue [1:05] him above even planetary in the blue [1:07] Saga when we look at who he's able to [1:09] damage and what those same characters [1:10] can destroy and withstand will use AP [1:12] scaling to give Goku his proper scaling [1:14] and ranking the most commonly used chart [1:16] comes from verses about a Wiki and every [1:18] single chart with its energy amounts [1:19] required to achieve are in the [1:21] description speed is simple it doesn't [1:23] need much breakdown as a topic but does [1:25] have some subsections speed is of course [1:27] how fast a character can move within a [1:29] given period of time while speed is [1:30] usually a general topic it doesn't have [1:32] to be broken down into categories unless [1:34] a series specifically States or makes it [1:36] clear there are different types of [1:37] speeds the categories are attack combat [1:40] reaction travel and flight speed in most [1:43] verses you can correlate combat and [1:44] attack speed with reaction speed while [1:46] other categories vary but overall this [1:48] is a series by series basis another [1:50] self-explanatory category durability is [1:53] the amount of force or energy a [1:54] character can withstand without pretty [1:56] much dying or being severely injured in [1:58] a lot of series character's durability [2:00] will scale to their attack policy by [2:01] using Newton's third law but like all [2:04] things this will vary on a series to [2:05] series basis [2:07] essentially if someone can exert a force [2:09] without harming themselves they should [2:10] be as durable as the attack refer back [2:13] to the bang example in terms of AP [2:15] from here we can get into terms like no [2:17] selling tanking or withstanding which [2:19] all account for someone taking little to [2:21] no damage or having little to no effect [2:22] on themselves from an attack scaling [2:24] their durability to or above set attack [2:26] our last two self-explanatory categories [2:28] are things like intelligence range and [2:29] stamina these factors are most important [2:31] in close matchups and versus battles [2:33] where small differences can make the [2:34] difference for who wins the battle [2:36] of course intelligence is how smart a [2:37] character is which can vary per series [2:39] and shouldn't be matched merely off IQ [2:41] or just blatant statements and it's more [2:43] so something you want to go off of [2:44] intelligent Feats range is of course [2:46] range how far a person can attack or [2:48] reach with their attacks hacks or magic [2:49] depending on what series is and stamina [2:52] of course is the endurance or longevity [2:54] someone can battle or fight or exert [2:55] their full AP over a give us at a time [2:57] now I like to go into things like hacks [2:59] resistances and you know different [3:01] dimension scaling and tiering but I [3:03] think I'm going to say that for a [3:04] different video however for fun I'll be [3:06] asserting a character from a story I'm [3:07] working on and I will show you exactly [3:09] how to scale them and this will also [3:11] help you guys scale characters from [3:12] other actual series or maybe even your [3:13] own if you don't care for this feel free [3:15] to leave a like and sub before clicking [3:17] off the video if not buckling because [3:19] this is going to get really interesting [3:20] for this power scaling example I'll be [3:22] using my character Diamond a modified [3:24] blessed human hybrid to show how [3:26] statements and fees can scale for each [3:27] category in the story red diamond is [3:29] considered the Speedster of the verse it [3:31] stated multiple times that if she moved [3:33] at top speeds during a rescue mission [3:34] while carrying a hostage the houses [3:36] themselves would disintegrate from her [3:38] speeds this is hard to calculate but we [3:40] do know she scales above the speed of an [3:42] attack described as a beam of light that [3:44] came from a literal star along with a [3:46] lot of consistent statements we can get [3:48] diamond speed to at least light speed [3:51] moving to AP focus on how I scale this [3:53] using other people's Feats since Diamond [3:55] has yet to show her full power in the [3:57] series [3:58] Diamond faces off against a character [3:59] named Peridot who she states could end [4:02] the world whether this is surface wiping [4:04] destroying or killing all organic life [4:05] this will at bare minimum be a [4:07] multi-continental feat it's implied that [4:09] she was simply going to wipe away the [4:11] entire Village however which was only [4:12] Island size and was defeat a stronger [4:15] character was casually prepared to do as [4:17] we said earlier if there are no [4:18] contradictions you can safely give her [4:20] durability equal to her attack potency [4:22] which would land her either at Island [4:23] level to multi-continental depending on [4:25] your interpretation I can go more in [4:28] depth about things like hacks but I'll [4:29] stop here for the sake of making a [4:31] separate video about these topics for [4:32] you all to enjoy [4:34] if you guys enjoyed this type of video [4:35] and like you know the more educational [4:37] stuff about power scaling and not me [4:38] just telling you who beat two leave a [4:40] like and comment down below what I [4:41] should talk about next I think the next [4:43] video I will go over things like hacks [4:45] resistances and uh probably dimensional [4:48] tiering since those are things people [4:49] don't really understand you know [4:50] different levels of infinity and stuff [4:52] like that but if you enjoyed this video [4:54] and maybe watch your own video made look [4:55] into the description there's a bunch of [4:57] things down there to tell you all about [4:58] how you can donate to get your own [4:59] videos made as well as the sources for [5:01] the video that you know I made today all [5:03] the things I use in this video it's your [5:05] boy's there so I think oh peace thanks [5:07] for watching [5:13] thank you [5:18] [Music]
