[0:01] video I'm going to show you how to get
[0:02] the new ice lightsaber swords, the ones
[0:05] that you can get in the Val region of
[0:08] this update. This is what they look
[0:09] like. Pretty damn cool swords and
[0:11] there's a little nifty way that you get
[0:12] them. It's very secret. So, the first
[0:14] thing we'll do is make our way to Val
[0:16] cuz this is only doable within Val and
[0:19] you'll have to load this up in heroic
[0:21] world tier. Once you're in here, you're
[0:23] going to make your way to the cave at
[0:24] the bottom right, the Sleete Rune
[0:27] Hollow. I'll show you once I'm near
[0:29] there. Look at my awesome new mount that
[0:30] we got this week, dude. Finally got it
[0:32] yesterday. Now, once you get to this
[0:33] cave over here, you're going to go into
[0:35] the cave like this and you're going to
[0:36] go all the way to the back end of the
[0:39] cave down here.
[0:41] And you'll see here in the wall, there's
[0:43] this object. When you interact with the
[0:45] object, it opens up the quest window and
[0:47] you can attempt to pull the sword from
[0:48] the ice.
[0:50] It doesn't let you pull it, but it does
[0:51] give you a buff called testament to
[0:54] prove your strength by slaying worthy
[0:56] foes. Now, before you loot the sword,
[0:58] you want to make sure that a rare is
[1:00] about to spawn because you either have
[1:01] to kill two rares or one rare plus the
[1:05] world boss.
[1:07] What this means is you have to slay rare
[1:09] creatures. You can also do the world
[1:10] boss, but maybe I wouldn't risk it in
[1:12] case you die and lose the buff.
[1:15] You should also know that you cannot
[1:16] cancel this buff when you first get it.
[1:18] You have to wait for the timer to end. I
[1:20] recommend picking up the sword and
[1:21] starting the buff as soon as you see
[1:23] that a rare has spawned so that you grab
[1:25] the buff and then you can run over to
[1:27] the spawn while it still has the 3
[1:28] minutes time of safety. You'll see when
[1:30] every rare spawns it has 3 minutes of
[1:32] safety before anybody can attack it. You
[1:34] have to take this into account and then
[1:36] you can go ahead and kill the rare. Once
[1:38] the rare is dead, you'll see that you
[1:39] get a new 30-minute buff called
[1:40] vanquishing, which acknowledges your
[1:43] deed, but you have to get a second buff
[1:44] of this while the first one is still
[1:46] active. So, we have 16 minutes. In my
[1:48] case, I don't have time for another rare
[1:50] because I need more than 20 minutes on
[1:52] that clock. So, what I'm going to go do
[1:54] is the world boss. The world boss is
[1:56] located at the bottom, right over here,
[1:58] through this portal. We can go through
[2:00] the portal, and then we'll make our way
[2:01] down the stairs.
[2:05] And then when you're in front of the
[2:06] boss here, you're going to go ahead and
[2:07] open up your group finder, go to
[2:09] pre-made groups, custom, and you're
[2:10] going to search for a group for
[2:12] Imperator Thok. So, we're going to sign
[2:14] up here and join this group. Doesn't
[2:16] matter if you've already killed the
[2:18] boss, we'll go ahead and kill it again.
[2:20] Just remember, you do need to do this
[2:22] before your original buff runs out. And
[2:25] you'll see here when we do kill the
[2:26] world boss, just like this, we'll get
[2:29] two stacks of the vanquishing, and the
[2:31] original buff testament will update to
[2:33] say that you have proven yourself
[2:35] worthy, and you have to return swiftly
[2:37] to claim your reward. Now, you have to
[2:39] use that timer to make your way back.
[2:41] I'm just going to try not to aggro
[2:43] everything
[2:44] along with these other players.
[2:46] I recommend only pulling that sword out
[2:47] as soon as the first rare spawns, cuz
[2:49] doing the world boss is tricky with all
[2:51] the the ads that can kill you along the
[2:53] way. But, I think I'll make it here. And
[2:56] I'll just roll up here, make my way back
[2:58] to the cave, the cave at the bottom
[3:00] right, Sleekrune Hollow. Looks like
[3:02] another player's doing this exact same
[3:04] thing. And then we can go ahead and we
[3:05] can loot the sword while we have this
[3:07] buff. Attempt to pull from the ice.
[3:08] Boom. There we go. We got the item, the
[3:11] Iceguardians Sleetsword. And you can see
[3:14] here, this is what these swords look
[3:15] like when I have them equipped. Looks
[3:17] pretty damn cool. And when I sheathe
[3:19] them on my back as a monk, this is what
[3:21] they look like. Pretty damn cool, right?
