[0:09] [music] [0:13] >> Hello, this is Project Cloud Games. [0:17] Today, through actual gameplay, I'd like [0:20] to show you the exploration and the [0:22] traces left behind in this world. [0:27] The world [music] of the relic is filled [0:29] with various field events. [0:32] As players explore the world, they [0:35] encounter the traces of those who once [0:37] lived here. [0:40] Some stories are not [music] tales of [0:42] great heroes. [0:45] They begin with desire, regret, and the [0:49] choices of ordinary people. [0:52] >> [music] [0:53] >> Some of the stories in this world are [0:55] inspired by traditional Korean folk [0:58] tales and legends. [1:01] They may feel familiar, yet they remain [1:04] very different in this world. [1:09] >> A man from the neighboring village [1:11] claimed he had dropped his axe and [1:14] received one of gold in return. [1:17] The tale spread faster than wind through [1:19] pine. [1:21] After that day, axes began to fall into [1:24] the pond. [1:38] I was a woodcutter. [music] [1:40] At least, I once was. [1:43] A full day's labor did [music] not [1:45] shorten my debts. [1:47] Just once, only once, [1:50] I thought weighed more heavily [music] [1:52] than the axe itself. [2:05] >> [groaning] [2:11] >> The pond gave no answer. [2:13] Yet, none of us left. [2:16] Someone said, "It tests our desire." [2:20] So, we waited longer. [2:28] The calluses on our palms began to [2:30] soften. [2:32] Footprints gathered instead along the [2:34] pond's edge. [2:37] The mountain remains thick with trees, [2:40] but fewer are felled. [2:50] Sometimes, the water trembles. [2:53] Someone will whisper, [2:56] "I saw a glimmer [music] tonight." [3:00] One word is enough to cast away another [3:02] day. [3:09] >> [music] [3:14] [groaning] [3:42] >> The water never returned anything. [3:45] I believe I had cast my axe away, [3:48] but it was not iron that sank. [3:52] It was the day. [3:54] Time does not rise again like a golden [3:58] blade from still water. [4:03] The pond took nothing. The mountain [4:06] never once disappeared. Yet instead [4:09] [music] of their axes, they cast away [4:12] their own time. They [music] cast away a [4:15] day. Then [4:17] another day. [4:18] And so they cast away their lives. [4:22] The golden axe never rose. [4:25] And the time [music] that sank cannot be [4:28] drawn up again. [4:33] >> We've just obtained a sealing stone by [4:36] completing this event. [4:39] Through exploration and events, players [4:41] can discover various sealing stones. [4:45] Some are hidden deep within the [4:46] wilderness. [4:48] >> [groaning] [4:49] >> Others remain at the end of forgotten [4:52] stories. [4:54] Each sealing stone is connected to its [4:56] own dungeon. [4:58] Letting players to where new places and [5:01] long forgotten secrets. [5:05] Let's head to the dungeon connected to [5:07] the sealing stone we just obtained. [5:11] Along the way, players [music] may [5:13] discover remnants of an ancient power. [5:18] People once called it relic energy. [5:24] Relic energy is an important resource [5:27] >> [music] [5:27] >> used for character progression. [5:34] Every location holds the life and [5:37] memories [music] [5:37] of someone who once lived there. [5:41] >> My childhood, my father was a giant who [5:44] ruled the flame. [5:47] The arms that struck heated iron were [5:49] firm as fortress walls. [5:53] Standing behind him, no beast in this [5:55] world frightened me. [5:57] I would cling to his broad back and [6:00] watch the sky. [6:03] >> When we are children, our parents seem [6:06] [music] like giants. [6:29] >> When I returned from a long campaign, [6:32] he still stood before the forge. [6:36] But, the sparks leapt lower than before. [6:39] [music] [6:41] His hair had thinned. His back bore a [6:45] slight curve. [6:47] He rose [music] to greet me and his knee [6:50] faltered. [6:51] I rushed to steady him. [6:54] >> But, one day we realize even giants grow [6:58] old. [7:00] >> [snorts] [7:03] [groaning] [7:14] [groaning] [7:21] [groaning and screaming] [7:33] >> His apron bore countless holes and [7:36] burns. [7:38] They were not marks of time alone. [7:41] They were the places [music] where flame [7:42] had struck while he forged the armor I [7:46] now wore. [7:48] I had believed him strong [music] by [7:50] nature. I had never considered that he [7:53] might feel pain. [7:55] >> Some struggle [music] to move forward. [8:00] Others spend their own years lighting [8:02] the path ahead. [8:15] >> He still said, [8:17] "I can forge one more blade." [8:20] Yet the hand that held the hammer paused [8:23] for a breath. [music] [8:26] Without speaking, I placed my hand over [8:28] his. [8:30] And that hand, once vast and unyielding, [8:35] >> At first, [8:36] >> [music] [8:36] >> our parents are the ones who holds us [8:39] up. [8:41] >> Father, [8:42] I will bear the hammer now. [8:45] He passed [8:46] >> [music] [8:46] >> the apron to me. [8:48] For a moment, he stood holding the [8:50] hammer then [8:52] let it fall from his grip. [8:55] The dusk painted his back in red. [8:58] "You have [music] grown broad of [9:00] shoulder." [9:02] >> And one day, we find ourselves holding [9:05] them instead. [9:22] >> The forge remains. The fire remains. [9:26] Only the one who holds the hammer has [9:29] changed. [9:30] My father did not grow smaller. [9:33] He lowered himself so that I might [9:37] stand. [9:38] >> To a child, a father is the first giant [9:43] he ever knows. One day, he learns [9:45] [music] the giant has grown lower. That [9:48] lowering is not weakness. It is a [9:51] passing of place, [music] [9:53] a quiet step aside so that a son may [9:56] stand. A giant does not diminish. He [10:00] merely changes where he stands. [10:14] >> At the end of [music] exploration, new [10:16] equipment and relics await. [10:20] And those rewards [music] [10:22] will aid players throughout their [10:24] journey. [10:32] Along the road, players may sometimes [10:35] come across old campfires. [music] [10:39] We do not know who first lit them. [10:44] Yet, their traces still remain. [10:54] >> Soon, it will be time to put out the [10:56] fire and move on. [10:59] Like waking from a warm dream. [11:05] >> Some traces outlive even the greatest [11:08] legends. [11:10] We want you to create more than a [11:12] journey of defeating [music] enemies. [11:16] We want you to players to explore this [11:18] world and discover the traces left [11:21] [music] behind. [11:25] In the end, all things become [music] a [11:27] story. [11:30] But, this is only one of many stories. [11:35] And [music] at the end of those stories [11:38] await powerful foes and forgotten [11:41] beings. [11:45] In the next video, we'll introduce the [11:47] combat and bosses of the Relic Buster [11:49] game. [11:52] We'll see you again in the next [11:54] showcase. [11:59] >> [music] [12:01] >> We're being drawn here continuously. [12:03] >> [music] [12:06] >> Kill squad knight. [12:08] >> WE HOLD THE LINE. [12:10] >> SHIELD UP. [12:12] >> [music] [12:19] [music] [12:41] [music]
