[00:00] Meet my cousin Mark, the biggest Celtic fan I know. Ever since he was a kid, his dream game to go to has been the Old Firm Derby, but it's almost impossible to get a ticket. So when I was given a spare VIP ticket by SoRare, [00:13] I decided to surprise him with a ticket alongside my cousin Brendy. The only problem is, it's 5 in the morning, and our flight leaves in less than 3 hours. Oh shit, that's tough. [00:30] Hello? It's John. [00:42] John Mellis. What the hell? Hi, how are you? I heard you're by station. We called you late. You're right, it was an area, so we called in late. [00:57] What the hell is going on here? As Mark slowly woke up, we headed to a self-examined bar to give him his birthday card. Let's go here to there. Where's the other one? [01:10] Oh my god, are you serious? Are you kidding me? The gate closes in two hours. What? [01:23] You're shaking. What happened here? The gear action goes so into the horse. [01:42] With the clock ticking, Mark whistled scared to get talking while I grabbed my suit to get dressed for VIP. Sounds like a person's rangers watching in the fire room. [01:55] Keep that on the calendar. You're not going to get in, look at that. What? We're going to VIP. [02:09] Hey, can you do a shirt and tie? VIP. I down I down Excuse me Mr Jake close your MLR and what are you doing I just going to move out And once Mark changed into his suit he had something special to show us before we left obviously my dad passed away last year and we got this for him done lifelong snappy farm he heal [02:30] you'll never walk alone but we haven't actually seen this yet so it's outside public park once Mark had packed his bag we said goodbye to Brandy and headed to the airport where it was [02:43] all starting to sink in. Oh, this is unreal. Nice one. Roll the chicken in, mate. Bit of a sick. There was just enough time for a 7am pint [02:57] before we boarded the flight to Glasgow and started the VIP experience with some champagne. But Mark wasn't the only Celtic fan on the flight. Celtic! Celtic! 45 minutes later, we [03:09] touched down in Glasgow and headed to Celtic Park to collect our tickets and try I'm trying to find Mark's Dad's plaque for the first time. I got it a year and a half ago. And I just don't know where it is. I have no idea where it is. [03:22] There are ones that have been dropped around. It's alone here somewhere. It definitely is. Hey guys, it's four back. You got it? You got it? Here I am. I'll budge you, man. [03:36] I'm so off. I'm so off. I'll take you back. Once we got a photo of Mark with his dad's plaque, we headed to the stadium to start the VIP experience. [03:57] Oh my God. Oh my God. I can't even sit down. You don't have to sit down. I'm going to chill. [04:09] I couldn't eat. Oh, that's for post-match. Well, I haven't done it after much. And a wee dessert. Oh, what a birthday present, mate. Best birthday. [04:21] Just opened it 22 years ago this week. First time I came to see them in the lake. Oh, wow. But I just opened that brick and it was there. That's class. I also opened my book. And look what there It so rare It like so rare for the ticket My friend Connie arrived in time for breakfast and some more champagne before Mark called his friend Digger to let him know where he was [04:42] Digger just texted me and said, can you do me a favour Mark will ya? And I went in and he goes, did you tell our John I'm a big buck of genius, Mark? And then he said, is it true? So this is my guy today. I need John to absolutely slay. [04:57] play. So that got him in my all-star rep role lineup, and that lineup is going to win me more experience because of this. That's a plan. As if Mark's weekend couldn't get any better, I set a challenge which, if he completed, [05:09] would earn him a massive surprise. So look, we've got a challenge for you, right? No. What challenge? So if you can get selfies of three former players, we'll give you another quest, another surprise. No problem. A C2? [05:23] No, a C3. Four selfies? No! Four. Four? Four. Four. Four. Four. Now we've made a person up. That's what you need to do. Ah well, well, well. Come with me. It's happening. It's happening. It's happening. With the challenge set, Mark wasted no time and got a selfie with Bobby Pettit [05:38] before putting on his glasses to continue his hunt and finding Celtic legend Danny McGrain. But the challenge had to be paused as it was time to head to our seats where we had a great view until we got hidden behind a massive payphone for you'll never walk alone. [05:56] Oh no! Oh no! Oh! Oh! Oh that patted Oh my bum beats are out easy [06:08] Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh I did it! [06:20] I'm going to put the glasses half-pained I'm half-pained I'm on the bus. Thank you Grandeur free kick perfect position Half time 180 half time for Rangers at 4 [07:06] As we headed back inside, Mark stepped down and ate his half time pie and was so deflated that he couldn't even bring himself to get any more selfies I can't, I'm too deflated, I'm too deflated [07:18] Full time, half of the win Come on Jonathan! Back post boy! Have it! Have it! [07:30] Jonathan! Jonathan! Yes! This is the craziest atmosphere I have ever been at Outside ETV [07:49] As the third goal brought Tears to Mars eyes and meant Jota hit the perfect 100 points [08:07] on the score where Celtic Park gave us a moment we never forget. [08:19] But Rangers quickly spoiled the party. With the game over we headed back to our table where after talking into a phillips steak, [08:44] steak, Mark snuck in a long-distance selfie with man of the match Alistair Johnson, and plucked up the courage to ask for a photo with Celtic legend Tosh McKinley, which unlocks one final surprise. Did you enjoy your day? [08:56] Best day ever. I did say, if you get four selfies, you'd have a final twist. Have you signed you'll never walk alone enough today? What? We're going to Liverpool Arsenal. Oh my lord! [09:11] What? Catch us on the next video!
