If you think about your life and your skills as a patch of grass and you decide just not to water it, obviously the grass is going to die. If you want to get good at something, could be your finances, it could be getting fit at the gym. All you have to do is just water the grass. Aka just put a little bit of

effort into it. It's so easy to be above average these days. If you took 2 hours of boxing lessons, you'd probably be able to outbox 90% of the people in the world. And so, I hear a lot of people saying, "Hey, I want this. I want to be good at this. I want to do this." But a lot of the times they don't put the effort into it. The great thing is that you are in control

of your effort. You control where you direct it. And so if you direct it to the things that you want in life, that's when you can actually achieve your goals, achieve the hobbies you want to have, and achieve the lifestyle that you want to have.
