[07:52] Um, so we have Madhouse. We got, uh, we got Dandadan, obviously. We got Dungeon or Dandadan. I mean, th- these are some good choices, honestly. Uh,

[08:07] Uh, the voice actor. I'm I'm I I I think I will have to go with Aoi Yuki. The, you know, Maomao is just too good. Like, I I I honestly I don't know, man. But, Frieren, though?

[08:25] do you think, chat? Let's see. Uh, we so so Let's see. This is a new thing. Yes, it is a new thing. It is. The fact they, uh, screwed Re:Zero is much they really did screw over Re:Zero. We will go through this.

[08:50] I don't I Yeah, I didn't watch this. I I I Wait, what is this? No, I didn't watch this. Um, Dandadan, obviously Dandadan would be here. Studio Trigger. Uh, Sayaka is really good for Delicious in Dungeon. That was a really good show.

[09:05] uh, yeah, we have Okarun from Dandadan as I'm going to be honest with you. Looking at the entire list, I'm going to probably go with Frieren. Like, I got to be honest, guys. Wait. Oh,

[09:17] Thank you very much for the $20 donation. You magically acquire 100 million USD. Which game studio would you hire to make an A an A H game? My choice would be Platinum. Honestly, I don't know many companies

[09:32] talking about Platinum Games? Like, the people that did like Nier? I would I would greatly agree. Who are the other candidates? So, okay. So, show it again. So, we have, you know, uh, Aoi Yuki from, you know, Apothecary

[09:46] Diaries. This is one. We have Frieren from, obviously, Frieren. We have, uh, Bravern. I'm I'm I'm probably butchering that from, uh, Bravern and all that. Kenichi does this. We have Don to Dawn.

[09:58] We have Studio Trigger for, you know, Delicious in Dungeon. to Dawn. I get to choose one. Personally, best voice acting performance, Japanese, I'm going to be blunt, Frieren. Goes to Frieren. Um

[10:12] blunt, Frieren. Goes to Frieren. Um Yada yada yada yada yada. going to I want to make sure you guys can't see in my email and stuff, so just one sec. Let me uh

[10:26] Let me hide the screen real quick, okay? Once again, sorry for being a little bit unprofessional here. You know, I I I'm working this out. I'm um not the best at this. Okay, let me make sure the screen can be seen again. There

[10:38] we go. Um Chibi, have you watched / read Kaguya-sama? I have like watched, obviously, the entire series. I have read basically most of it. I know how it ends. So, yeah. Um I know how the ending

[10:52] like Kaguya-sama's ending. Uh so, we got the voice actor. Let's back out of this. Oh, we got Wait, let's go back to my categories. So, we got just do the English one. I don't really listen to a lot of dubs, so I don't

[11:07] listen to a lot of dubs, so I don't really have much of a uh much of an opinion on this one. But, I did actually Let's see Let's see here. Mm.

[11:24] dub of this, he he's really good. He's really good at this. I'm going to have to give it to him. He 100% gets this. Uh what are you guys saying? Vote me for the best VA Chibi the Kingdom. But, wait. Wait, do we have a VA in actual

[11:37] Chibi, did you see Khan Lone Generic Romance? It's amazing. Yes, I did. I I I made a video, actually, like 2 hours ago. It's uploaded. It's a short video, but I did make a video. You didn't vote. Wait, did I not vote?

[11:50] OH, I DIDN'T VOTE. I'm stupid. Oh, forgive me. There we go. There. I I I'm so sorry. I am very stupid. Forgive me. Uh best ending sequence. What do we got

[12:03] uh Oshi no Ko, very good. That was a very good ending sequence. Um we got Ron Mazinik sequence, also very good. We got The Elusive Elusive Samurai was so good, man. Like that that was actually a fire

[12:18] anime. Like, yo, that Honestly, that actually was such a unique show from last year that it actually blew me away. I wish I would have. It was so good. Um there was people who complained about the CGI and

[12:31] stuff, but holy crap, was it good. I really liked it. Would I say it's the best ending song, however? I don't know about that one. that was pretty solid. Okay, this is season 1. Yeah, is this

[12:47] has to be season 1 of Solo Leveling. And then Don to Dawn. Okay. This is pretty difficult. I'm not going to lie. Oh, we got a donation here. Um You rock, Chibi. Keep it up, man, from a fellow anime fan. Thank you

[13:01] Thank you. Thank you. Um what do you guys think? What do you think deserves the category for the best ending song? Um Elusive Samurai was good. Yes, it was incredible. Uh Yaiba seems to be a

[13:15] not watched Yaiba yet. A lot of people have been telling me to watch that. I I watch Yaiba." Uh yes, it's season 1. Okay, so this is Solo Leveling season 1. That Or not Wait, no. Where Where so? So, this is

[13:29] Solo Level season 1's ending. I did like it. I did like this ending might like it more than season 2's ending song. I would say Oshi no Ko.

[13:41] I mean, I I'm on the fence here. Like, here here's my decisions, okay? I like both Oshi no Ko and and Don to Dawn's. I I I also like Solo Leveling. Like, here. Let's Let's just pull these up, okay? Let's um

[13:56] second. So, we have uh Oshi no Ko ending. Or no, no. Season 2 ED. Let's see. Yeah. Um I can't, obviously, play the whole song. Don't want to get uh

[14:12] copyrighted, but I'm going to have to instant mute this. But, um let's take a mean, legitimately, I really did like this. This was a very good opening or ending song. Um

[14:27] 3 million views, man. That's crazy. That's so many views on that. Uh Is that really the one, though? Is Is Is that really the one, though? Is Is that

[14:42] What we have here? Love your Thank you so much, Darf. I I Yeah, I see Don to Dawn was good. Like, despite my obvious issues with the the last year. Don to Dawn was excellent. It was. It

[14:57] Don to Dawn was excellent. It was. It was a really excellent anime. I liked it a lot. It was it deserved the hype. It did. It 100% did. woah woah. Sheon, you don't watch anime endings? Woah woah woah woah. Back up.

[15:11] Back up. Wait, what? What? Bro, who doesn't watch anime endings? Check Solo Leveling ending again. Wait, to pull up the uh Solo Level ending? Here here, I'll pull it up. Solo

[15:25] Leveling. I I am a bad typer. Ending one. Let's Let's uh Let's take a look here. Ending request. This is by Crunchyroll. Oh, it's this one. Yeah, this is a really This is a really

[15:40] Yeah, this is a really This is a really good ending song.

[15:52] Fire Force ending Yeah, Fire Force ending on here, is it? No? No, we have only Elusive Samurai. We have Solo Leveling, Kaiju No. 8, we have Ron Mazinik, Oshi no Ko, and Don to Dawn.

[16:06] with you. I think I want to go with Don to Dawn. Don to Dawn just had a really solid It had an extremely solid ending song. I I want to do Solo Leveling or man. I listen to that one the most. Uh best opening sequence.

[16:20] Um I want more Mushoku You You know what? Actually, that is a very good point that was brought up here. Um where's the Re:Zero? Where Where Where's I I guess Crunchyroll's not counting the fall season. I'm assuming that's why we

[16:35] don't have that, but still, it's It seems like just such a disservice. Also, wait. Where was Mushoku Tensei? Wait a minute. Wait wait wait. Is Mushoku Like, Kaiju No. 8. We got Mashle. We got Oshi no Ko, makes

[16:49] We got Mashle. We got Oshi no Ko, makes sense. Solo Leveling, Don to Dawn, and That was a really good opening song. But, But, wait. Mushoku Tensei's NOT ON HERE?

[17:01] wait. Mushoku Tensei's NOT ON HERE? WHAT? year, right? Yeah, Mushoku Tensei came out last year.

[17:17] Why? It was such a good opening song. on there. Only watch OP and endings once in Leicester Peak. I mean, I I feel that. I legit do feel that if like the

[17:29] catchy, I do feel that. I don't usually like try interested in them. But, I got to say, for the lineup here, I say my least

[17:42] favorite is probably Mashle's. I do not like is probably Mashle's. I do not like Mashle's. Kaiju No. 8 is

[17:54] Hear me out. This This might be a hot take. I wasn't the biggest fan of it. I No. 8's like opening song. I mean, it was okay, but I didn't hate Like, I wasn't the biggest fan.

[18:07] Um Honestly, the One Piece one was good. Honestly, the One Piece one was good. The One Piece one was really good. The One Piece one was really good. Uh

[18:23] what? I think I'm going to have to go I might have to either go with One Piece or Don to Dawn again. I that that's what I think, legitimately. Wait a minute. If they're adding Frieren in the last ones, wait a minute.

[18:36] Why isn't Frieren on here? Are Are you telling me Frieren's opening song isn't telling me Frieren's opening song isn't worthy enough to be on this chart? That kind of That kind of pisses me off a little bit. Um is this your first time

[18:51] mean, it's not my first time ever doing one, but I don't do them often. I really don't. I am very unprofessional with these, as you can clearly see. It is not the best quality. I'll get better with time, but um just forgive me on that.

[19:04] Let's be honest, Creepy Nuts is winning. I mean, Creepy Nuts is pretty good. I really like this one a lot. But, the One Piece one's good, too, man. Like Like I Like here, let me pull this up, okay? Let I I I'll I'll pull this

[19:19] up. We We We got to We got to see. One Piece. Like if this is like the opening I'm thinking it is. Like, you just like it's this one sequence. Let me Let me find it. It's this one certain sequence with

[19:33] what I'm talking about if you've watched it. It's this. It's literally this sequence with Luffy's outfit changes. It's just I don't know. There's just something so amazing about this little scene that really sticks to me.

[19:45] I really want to just give it the victory because of this, but is it worthy enough to get the award?

[20:02] Piece. I'm sorry. I I've listened to the One Piece opening a lot more. It was done very well. I I got to do it, man. I I'm I wouldn't feel right if I didn't. I I got to do that. Uh best score. Okay, so we got the best OST Oh, this is easy.

[20:16] so we got the best OST Oh, this is easy. E Oh. back and it's got Bleach on here. Don to Don's good. Solo Leveling's good. But,

[20:29] Look back and Frieren and Frieren though. Fri- Frieren Oh my goodness, this is the Uh we just got Thank you very much, uh Deezy, for the $5 donation. Frieren's OP 2 was my personal favorite. Uh yes, I

[20:42] loved the opening, the second opening of Frieren. No way Chibi livestream. Bleach hands out. See, okay, okay, okay, okay. So, this this is conflict. This is So, this this is conflict. This is Bleach conflict.

[21:00] really is good. I I I it This is really difficult because like all these are I'm going to throw away Demon Slayer and Solo Leveling. They're they're great. Like that those are not even in the ballpark of these four. I once again am

[21:15] very upset that Mushoku Tensei isn't here, but beggars can't be choosers. Uh Demi the Skull Kid, thank you very much for the $5 donation. Uh hey Chibi, I hope you're doing good. Hopefully, you get into the great estate developer. Uh

[21:28] recommending me that? Like I've seen you do it for like 60 days now. I I I will, desperately trying to get me on that. I will eventually give it a shot. Uh everybody's saying Bleach in chat. I I chat Really, chat? You think Bleach

[21:43] deserves it? Bleach then Frieren. No, yes. Okay, so let me clarify. Yeah, I want to make sure this is clarified. I want to make sure this is clarified. This is best score, aka the best overall

[21:56] soundtrack. This is not counting the opening or ending. This is just all of the music, okay? This means thematically all the music within that anime for that given season. That's what this category is. Do you truly think that Bleach Okay,

[22:12] I'm not putting Bleach down. It's got phenomenal music, man. Like it does. But, do you think Bleach for the conflict arc had better OST, like soundtrack, than Frieren or Look Back or Don to Don? Like

[22:25] previous seasons of Bleach. We're not talking about the beginning. We're not and decades ago. We're talking about the current season of Bleach. Do you think it has the better score? Chibi, I need a Jūken no Rokunin review.

[22:42] Did you watch Lazarus yet? No, I have not seen Lazarus. People also have been telling me to watch it just like To Be Hero X. I think I'm going to watch To Be Hero X and Lazarus tomorrow. I it will depend on which more interests me,

[22:56] depending on the video I do, okay? But, I do plan on doing something of those crazy happens tomorrow that I need to talk about, that is the genuine plan. Um yes, yes, yes. Never seen Bleach. Bleach 100% has

[23:12] better soundtracks than Frieren. See, I I'm kind of in a disagreement there, guys. I'm I'm a little bit of a disagreement because it's like

[23:30] I can't play much of it, but you got to listen to it, okay? Like listen to this. Like It's so good, man. Like it it is such a

[23:44] for that, but like when it starts building up like this part of the song Like it's so good. I don't know, man. I You really think so?

[24:02] to go with Frieren. It it It's got to be it. It was just too good. It holds a special place in my heart. I got to go with Frieren. I would not feel right if seeing all the Bleach love in chat. I appreciate that. Not feeling it?

[24:18] Not feeling it? The Quincy Okay. Like yeah, okay. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Wait, I'll pull something up. Okay. Bleach Forgive me something up. Okay. Bleach Forgive me for my typing. Bleach conflict

[24:32] Quincy OST. Do we have a Quincy OST? Um Does anyone have a name? Anyone have a name of the song from the uh from the a name of the song from the uh from the conflict season?

[24:46] The soundtrack is really good for Bleach. I agree. But, so is Frieren. Um Bleach beats everything else, but Frieren got OST better than Yeah, okay. See, that what Cyber Samurai just said is very important. I think a lot of

[25:00] people need to understand that yes, Bleach has incredible music. But, we of the Thousand-Year Blood War. We're not counting everything else in the past. So, factoring that in, I think Frieren just has an overall stronger

[25:15] soundtrack. That that's just me. Uh best anime song. Okay. Wait, so it's kind of a weird category. So, we got The Brave, Abyss Wait, wait. So, like we talking

[25:27] opening? Like what what are we doing here? Um This kind of feels like a kind of like an unfair category. This feels like a bloated category here.

[25:40] Like I'm I'm going to go with Frieren again. again. Like that That's a really weird category. That feels like a throwaway category. Uh sup sup, everyone that's joining in.

[25:53] Um let's see. Chibi, please do read Savage Hero. I will eventually check leave it in the comments and stuff and eventually I'll go through them. Um my glorious uh Otonoki. Yeah, I agree. Idol solos all these. Yeah, I know. Idol If

[26:07] Idol was on here, trust me, I would vote for Idol. Must protect at all costs characters. Frieren does not need protecting. People need protected from Frieren. That enough said on that. Uh Okrum, does

[26:21] he need protection? Nah. Yuki Do you like Yuki? Hmm. Uh Nah. I like Sensei. I I He was a good

[26:36] character. I don't think he needs protection. protection. Ooh, the elusive samurai.

[26:48] This kind of just feels like once again another throwaway category. I mean, what I mean, it's it's basic like like yeah, what you guys are saying in chat, yeah, what you guys are saying in chat, it's pretty much Anya's category. Like

[27:01] Like let's factor this in. We have just like teenager, you know, we have a thousand-year-old grandma. You know, we got a cute scene, you know, romance character here. We have, you know, also

[27:13] another really great character, but also very strong, not necessarily needing protection. Uh Sensei I don't think this man needs protection. Yeah, this just this feels like Anya. This this feels like an Anya category.

[27:25] That that's basically what it is. So, yeah, I'm Once again, that that's kind of a worthless category. Um best supporting character. Hevel. Fern. Jinshi, Seiko, Sensei, and Turbo

[27:39] Granny. Well, this one is super easy. And I I I see if the chat's saying it. No, Anya needs protection. Uh we must needs protection from Mimic chat. No, seriously, that is the only thing she

[27:54] seriously, that is the only thing she needs protection from. Um Yeah, this I'm going to agree with chat real quick. I saw someone mention it. This feels like a very rigged awards. Like I know it's a popularity contest. Don't get me wrong,

[28:07] but uh the fact that it is just completely dominated by Frieren and Don to Don is honestly, I don't think a good thing. Don't get me wrong. Good shows, prize. But, I think that the fact that I have

[28:22] not still seen any Mushoku Tensei really Tensei. There there's a lot of good shows from last year, okay? Like a lot of romance shows and stuff that aired that I have not seen yet on here. And

[28:35] the fact that I have not feels just it it shows the inherent issues with Crunchyroll's overall awards because they don't factor in a lot of shows besides recency bias. Yeah, you know, I agree. It it does feel rigged. It is.

[28:49] But, uh Yeah, anyways, this is very easy. It's Himmel. The the man's effect dying in the first episode. Spoilers if you haven't seen Frieren, but I mean, hell, it's first episode. You know, he dies in the first episode and you still

[29:02] feel his presence to the very latest chapters of the manga. So, I would say in terms of supporting characters, he is probably the best on this entire list, hands down. There's really just no competition there. Uh best main

[29:16] competition there. Uh best main character for last year. Uh

[29:35] Yo, someone mentioned where's Igris. I agree, where is he? farm his way into the best character of uh of the Crunchyroll Awards.

[29:48] uh of the Crunchyroll Awards. Oh my goodness. Uh we got Mao Mao all that Mao Mao was great. Momo Momo's good. Kafka's good. Okabe's good. Frieren Oh my goodness. This feels like the Frieren

[30:02] Awards, man. This is a joke. This feels like A JOKE. YEAH, WAIT. YEAH. Where's Subaru? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. It's because it's the fall season. I I Once again, for clarification,

[30:15] remember, Crunchyroll normally doesn't like to factor in fall anime. For some reason, they throw them into the next year's award ceremony. So, that's probably why Re:Zero isn't here. But, it's still just

[30:27] the fact the fact that Rudy isn't on here with all that development in season 2. I mean, obviously, the reason why he's not here is because Crunchyroll doesn't want to get into controversy and drama. But,

[30:41] still, why even have the anime on your platform if you're going to snub it every single year when it comes out? But, uh case. I'm curious to see what you guys say.

[30:53] I've already made up my mind of what I'm going to do. I'm just curious to see what you guys decide. I I'm curious. What would you guys choose? super po- Yeah, no, I do hate that as well. But, this proves my point. You I'm

[31:09] going to make a massive prediction. You ready for this? to win. I'm just going to tell you. It will not win this category. I'd be very shocked if it did. But,

[31:23] I want to tell you there's two outcomes to this. And anyone that says otherwise is deluding themselves. It's either going to be Sung Jinwoo or going to win this category. And the reason for it is cuz just Frieren is

[31:36] popular. And you want to try to not have his lying. And Sung Jinwoo the man aura farms just so good that he became the highest rated like his anime became the highest rated anime on Crunchyroll. So, it's probably going to be Jinwoo. He's

[31:51] probably going to win it. And I cannot wait to see the fallout and the anger from the anime community when that happens. It's going to happen. But, uh Mao. She's the best character. Like, straight up. I I If you have not watched

[32:04] The Apothecary Diaries, like you 100% should. She is the best character, hands category. But, if I wasn't going to choose her, and I'm choosing someone else from this list, obviously, I would choose Frieren. But, Mao Mao being here

[32:18] 100% deserved. She is a great character. Uh let's get into the best slice of life. Um okay, we got Laid-Back Camp season 3. Did not watch that one, so I can't really comment on it. Makane or Too Many

[32:31] Losing Heroines. Love this series. My friend keeps heavily recommending me to read the light novel, and I've been meaning to. Mr. Villain's Days or Day Off. My dear friend Neko Tom. Wait, what what what category is this again? Best

[32:44] slice of life. Oh wait. I guess Neko Tom is slice of life. THE DANGERS OH MY is slice of life. THE DANGERS OH MY GOODNESS. probably going to pick. Just keep it real. Everybody already knows. Everybody

[32:58] Like, anybody that says it isn't Dangers in My It's the best part of this whole thing. But, if we're not going to count that, That that that's what would win. But, I'm glad to see these two series here.

[33:14] But, Dangers in My Heart instantly wins. So, just no competition. I'm not up to date with it. I want to be honest with you. I'm not going to lie to watched it. Yeah.

[33:26] Best drama. A Sign of Affection. Okay, I like this one. Dead Dead Demons. I did not finish this show, but I did like what I watched of it. Frieren, Oshi no Ko, Plu- Pluto, man. That

[33:39] I did not expect to see Pluto here. Like, that that one actually took me back. I I I forgot that that aired last year. Huh. Best drama.

[33:52] Best drama. Ah, Apothecary Diaries. There's legitimately good stuff. Um A Sign of Affection, you people are recommendation. I mean, if you want something good, Dangers in My Heart and

[34:07] Uh You give me Makane getting season 2 is great. Yes, I'm very happy it's getting a season 2. chat. A Sign of Affection is the most typical shojo drama. You know, Anon, I

[34:21] do agree that it is very stereotypical. I wouldn't say it's trash. But, I wouldn't say it's anything to really write home about. It's cute. It's it's typical. There's nothing wrong with those type of things. But, it I would

[34:35] last year. It's not even in the ballpark. Um it's weird that Frieren is here, by the way. Best drama? Frieren?

[34:47] Frieren? Best drama like drama? I don't know about that one. I mean, it has drama, but it's like

[35:03] I don't I I I don't think Frieren really should be in this category. This feels like it was just smashed into this category cuz like the people that were whatever selecting this didn't watch a lot of anime. There's

[35:15] certainly, if I go into like anime like categories and go to like drama, like last year in terms of the drama category that would uh

[35:27] definitely be more fitting than Frieren. Now, I'm not saying Frieren is bad, but it's not a drama. I wouldn't really call it that. So, yeah, feels a little bit weird. But, uh

[35:45] Diaries. They're both very good. I'm not really going to give it to Oshi no Ko. Call that bias. Call me being spiteful because of the ending. But, I really can't give it to Oshi no Ko despite anything else. I just I couldn't.

[35:58] Uh Pluto and Apothecary Diaries is definitely one of my two picks. I like Pluto. Apothecary

[36:12] it's too good. It's way too good. It definitely deserves it. Uh best isekai. Okay, let's see if Mushoku Tensei gets snubbed from its own Mushoku Tensei gets snubbed from its own category. Whoa whoa whoa whoa.

[36:38] Hold up. You're putting Re:Zero season 3. So, you're telling me that all these categories could have had Re:Zero in it,

[36:50] but they decided not to do that? And arbitrarily added into the best isekai? It's

[37:02] Like, what? Like, wait wait. Hold the phone. So, that means they are counting fall anime. If they're adding Re:Zero, cuz this fall season. So, if they added Re:Zero here, that

[37:16] means that theoretically, it should be counted in every single category. That means like best ending, opening, you get the point. The fact it's not there and it's here, that is disrespectful as hell.

[37:34] there, Shadow, crazy work. That is actually crazy work. Because that those categories. They actually did. It next year. They just straight up said no, it doesn't deserve best anime song,

[37:46] best score, best ending, best opening. You know, I can argue on a lot of even have, let's say, best voice acting performance or best opening or ending. Like, it's not even nominated there. That's crazy. I think if it proves

[37:59] anything, it does prove that Crunchyroll does not watch Re:Zero. It explains the constant disrespect to the series and the anime bad translations. I mean, they they literally had wrong Sin Archibishop

[38:15] titles for different characters, okay? This proves that they legitimately do not watch Re:Zero. The fact that it legitimately was not on the list for those other other categories proves that. Like, there's just no way. Uh you

[38:27] can call me salty, a salty fan. But, the fact that they have it here and it's there. Wait, did they add Su-

[38:42] No. NO. NO. NO, BRO. No way they added Suicide Squad.

[39:03] Suicide Squad as a contender for this category. That is so bad. Like, that is actually horrendous. Oh. Okay, so enough playing around.

[39:15] Let's get right into the meat and potatoes. So, KonoSuba. Incredible. Absolutely incredible. Mushoku Tensei. Incredible. Re:Zero. Fine wine. Incredible. Shangri-La. Incredible. That Time I Got Reincarnated

[39:30] Read the light novel. I mean, the latest season was okay, but read the light novel. It's really good. Uh Suicide Squad.

[39:42] HERE, OKAY? Let's just be completely blunt. Um Okay, so yeah, someone said over Moonlight Fantasy, that is actually That is true. That that's a very good point. Okay, so obviously as an enjoyer

[39:59] of a Sekai, as someone that loves all these shows, okay? I I'm a big fan. Whatever, but I I I love them all for their different reasons. And we already we already all know it's either Re:Zero or Mushoku, okay? We we know this.

[40:20] these two. They are so good in their very They're constantly compared, they're constantly competing, they're excellent. They are excellent pieces of literature. And

[40:34] I'm sad I have to choose one because truthfully I would choose both. I love both of them so much. But obviously that is not what's going to happen. I have to is not what's going to happen. I have to choose. So, getting into it,

[40:47] what gave me more enjoyment for last year? What did I enjoy the most from both of them? What was one that stuck with me and I still think about daily? Obviously I could say recency bias to Re:Zero or I could talk about Mushoku

[41:02] year. I've been waiting for the phenomenal season 3 to come out. But in terms of what season 3 did, the first half. Wait, I I want to clarify that this Are they counting all of season 3 or are they just counting

[41:17] half? I'm assuming half. So, it's like the first eight episodes.

[41:32] Oh, no, it says core 2. It says core 2 there. Mm. So, this is a complete package versus So, this is a complete package versus what

[41:46] That is just Crunchyroll, man. was the best part. It was, easily. It was one of the best parts, but

[42:02] the Father's Day episode was crazy. I I agree. That was That was sick, bro. Studio Bind was sick for that. That was such a You remember they delayed the episode? You you remember that? They delayed Mushoku Tensei for an entire

[42:16] week just to release that episode on Father's Day? That was sick work. That was some of the the most disgusting and despicable I I approve. It's funny, but oh my goodness.

[42:30] Country will really Yeah, no, they really don't watch much. really don't watch much. Do I

[42:47] it it just I I It pains me I have to select it out over Mushoku, but it's It is what it is. That's how it is. Um best action series. Ah, yes, the shonen fans love this one. Um Dandadan,

[43:00] Bleach, Demon Slayer, Wind Breaker, Solo Leveling, Kaiju. Okay, so this is season 1 of Solo Leveling. This is season 2, this would be a different conversation. But since it's not, this is easy. This is very easy. This is Bleach. This is

[43:13] Bleach territory. Bleach easily wins this, hands down. This is not even a competition. Oh, thank you very much for the $5 donation, Roblox. Anyone who and Mushoku Tensei can't be trusted, my opinion. I also hate how both got

[43:25] treated like like ass by these nominate. I agree. They are really treated really Uh but yes, Bleach wins this, hands down. There's There's no competition. The only thing that even remotely tries to edge into it is Dandadan, but I

[43:38] just Bleach. This is This is just easy, hands down. Not even a hard category whatsoever. Best comedy. Okay, comedy is subjective, obviously, and so everyone's depending on what you like. Mashle, not the biggest fan of the comedy. I mean,

[43:53] it's okay, not the biggest fan. My Deer Friend Nokotan kind of fell off pretty hard after the first two episodes, so it's funny. It was really funny, but it fell off. KonoSuba, the king of comedy. Ranma was really good. Delicious was

[44:08] really good. I wouldn't even I'm not really putting I don't think Spy x Family is going to win this one. Definitely Mashle's not cross those two out. My Deer Friend Nokotan just died off very quickly cuz

[44:21] I think that one's also going to be crossed off. Ranma 1/2 is a comedy. It's There's a lot more to it than just a comedy, though. But uh mm

[44:35] though. I I I have to probably say KonoSuba. Yeah. I I got to go with KonoSuba. I think this is an easy victory for Kono. Uh best romance. Okay, let's see what we got here. A Sign of Affection,

[44:48] Blue Box, Too Many Losing Heroines, Ranma 1/2, Scott Pilgrim Oh, yeah, that came out last year. The Dangers IN MY OH, MAN.

[45:02] We got some really good ones here. These are four really good romance shows. I reasons. Too Many Losing Heroines is extremely The Dangers in My Heart also extremely good. Blue Box is also VERY GOOD.

[45:20] good. Blue Box is also VERY GOOD. AH. saying Blue Box or Danger and I'm on the danger fence. I am. I mean, I talked about it a lot. I made multiple videos on it. I posted about it constantly on

[45:35] the either the YouTube community post or also on Twitter, so I talked about it a lot. I I Yeah, I think in terms of enjoyment of romance for last year for anime out of this category,

[45:49] yeah, Danger. Danger gets this one. Um best background art. If Frieren's not here, I'm going to be shocked. Oh, yep, here it is. Frieren's here. have some good background art. I can't Dandadan does, too.

[46:03] Dandadan does, too. Delicious in Dungeon does. This one's really hard. So, I'm thinking either Dandadan or

[46:19] Frieren is probably going to It may be Delicious. Delicious might get this, too. That also has some really good background art. I mean Frieren has good art, though. It's got really good background art.

[46:34] minute. Wait a minute. Let's see. I I got to see the background art here just to take a look at it.

[46:55] Like the background art is so incredible for this. Ah. Mm.

[47:15] it's just Yeah, that's what I feel. That's what I'm feeling. Best director. That's what I'm feeling. Best director. All right, here we go. Oh. Oh.

[47:30] honest. I'm voting Ishihama. Megumi Ishihama is probably one of the best directors I have seen in a while. have seen in a while. Like hands down.

[47:44] I'm sorry. It's It's got to be this. Like the If you have not watched Fan Letter, go watch it. Like you don't even need to be a massive One Piece fan. need to be a massive One Piece fan. It's just good. It It's a very good

[47:56] episode, like a special episode. The directing is just impeccable. I mean the director of Frieren is good. I I I'm not going to even deny that. I mean, these are all really good directors.

[48:09] But Megumi Ishihama was truly just such a It came out of nowhere, honestly. So, Ishihama. Just It was just too good, man. It was She was a good director.

[48:22] Let's see. Fan Letter was You know, Fan Letter was something one episode versus King You're right. One episode versus full seasons. One episode versus full seasons. You are very right.

[48:40] It is exactly what it is. Best character design. Okay, so we're just talking strictly anime character designs. Ah. Ah. This one actually is pretty easy.

[48:53] Like I like Frieren's. Like I like the the character designs, but Dandadan here has some really good character designs with the outfits and everything to the hair and all that. Yeah, it's got to go Dandadan. I easy.

[49:06] That one's a very easy category. Best animation. have solid designs. I I agree with that, but I think Dandadan's designs just Best animation. I mean, yeah, you can't have an animation category without Demon

[49:21] Slayer being here. Solo Leveling here as well also makes a lot of sense. best animation for season 1, though. It was good, but I wouldn't say it's the was good, but I wouldn't say it's the best.

[49:44] in. Um now, it's just been Frieren, Dandadan, Kaiju, Delicious, and Demon Slayer.

[49:58] their own individual ways, but we already saw Re:Zero and Mushoku, okay? So, it could theoretically be a part of these categories, and the fact it's not there's some clear bias here. There

[50:11] there's some very obvious bias. I'm not a big fan of. I I'm really not. But, I'm going to just choose what they have on the list. But, I do not like the bias

[50:23] going to happen. This is what's going to happen. All the awards are going to be taken by either Dandadan, Frieren, or Solo going to win pretty much almost every single category, unless it's a joke

[50:36] categories is going to be one of those three, hands down. It's not even a Um I mean, yeah, Ufotable's animation is crazy. They you cannot have an animation category without them. They are

[50:51] regardless if you love or hate Demon Slayer, they are really good at what they do. And I mean, I guess it's what happens when you tax fraud, so I mean, to be fair, makes sense. Um Ah.

[51:04] You know You know what? Someone did to point that out, Orb. right. You're right. Like

[51:24] You're You're absolutely right. The fact that Orb is not on this list whatsoever is actually extremely disrespectful. It This was

[51:36] about that. They they actually did snub this series. I have not seen Orb once. It's not been once on this game. It was so underrated that even Crunchyroll so underrated that even Crunchyroll didn't even watch it.

[51:53] Mushoku Tensei has been snubbed. I I think Orb not even having any listing at that's just tragic. That is actually tragedy, because that was a phenomenal anime. Oh, man.

[52:08] Oh, man. Ah. I wouldn't pick any of these, honestly. I mean

[52:23] Frieren. I mean, it's just it was good, but man, that's crazy Orb's not on here. Now it's It's someone mentioned that. That is wild, man. It's actually wild. Uh you know, Crunchyroll really is showcasing just such bias. I mean

[52:38] showcasing just such bias. I mean it's obvious. BEST ORIGINAL ANIME. NO WAY. NO WAY. WE GOT Ninja Kamui.

[52:58] Please tell me there's a clip of this. Ple- Please tell me someone has like a Ple- Please tell me someone has like a clip of this. some really, really bad ones. Like really, really, really, really bad ones.

[53:32] The fact that it's on here for best original is just oh. Uh Metallic Rouge, this started off very strong, also became a little bit stupid.

[53:45] Bucchigiri is okay. Train to the End of the World, this was okay. I didn't finish it. Jellyfish, this was good. This was good. this was good. This was good. Girls Band Cry, oh.

[54:06] I mean, it's either Girls Band Cry or Jellyfish. That's the only two that really I would I would choose out of these. were good. I mean, Shimatsu Train didn't finish, so I can't really say much about

[54:19] of an opinion on it. But, from what I have personally seen, Girls Band Cry and Jellyfish is just Those were good. Those Those were very in this one though. This one disappointed me greatly from Studio

[54:33] yeah, but I mean, if you want to talk about the biggest stinker of these, it's this one. This is That is just oh, yikes. Uh Train was decent, but Girls Band Cry just clear. I mean, yeah, I I I would

[54:48] really good show. But, I really like Jellyfish, man. Jellyfish was so good. I really like this a lot. Jellyfish. I mean, this is a good category. I I will give them on this

[55:03] one. Best new series. Okay. So, we're talking about like no season twos. Frieren, oh my goodness. Solo Leveling, Frieren Dandadan, Kaiju, have guessed we'd have the iconic six,

[55:15] already almost every single category. What's getting good shows, but the exact same thing? There There needs to be stipulations here from allowing

[55:30] repeats continuously for just a series to sweep the whole thing. It It's just It's I don't think it's okay. But, uh

[55:43] I I I'm feeling like a broken record here. Forgive me, guys, but it it's it's got to be Frieren. It's just like you're giving me only limited options, and I'm there's a reason why it's everybody's number one right now. It's just that

[55:55] good. So, yeah, Frieren easily gets this. Best continuing series, I'm assuming One Piece is on here. Oh, yep, One Piece is on here. Spy Family, Oshi no Ko, Demon Slayer, My Hero. I mean, the latest season of My Hero

[56:07] wasn't bad. This wasn't bad. wasn't bad. This wasn't bad. Wasn't like amazing, but wasn't bad.

[56:19] very good. Spy Family, also good. Demon Slayer was good. I've talked about it in a very positive way. way. Bleach.

[56:35] talked about. I mean, if I'm going to mention One Piece in this category I I would be lying if I said it was 100% good, because despite the great animation and art,

[56:50] don't get me wrong One Piece has bad pacing problems. It's very heinous. And I don't think it is the best continuous series because of that. It It's a really big

[57:03] a big negative against the series, especially when you watch an episode and like half the episode is spent either on recaps, bad pacing, opening and ending especially when it's a 20-minute episode and almost 10 minutes of it is worthless

[57:17] content. So, I think in general, I would not give this category to One Piece. Not because I hate it, but just the anime in general could be better. Which I'm glad most likely we won't have as many issues like that anymore.

[57:32] So looking at continuation-wise, it's probably going to come down to Oshi no Ko or Bleach. Both very excellent, very well done in pacing. I think that Oshi no Ko season 2, despite my issues with

[57:45] the manga I cannot deny that the the anime really elevated the source material of Oshi no Ko with the anime. Like it did very well with it. But, the same could be said about Bleach and what it's done with the

[57:59] about Bleach and what it's done with the added content and new scenes to just honestly just cinema. I say that Bleach does the exact same thing Oshi no Ko does, but better. So, I would say Bleach. Bleach wins this

[58:12] gets. Film of the year. Bleach or Oshi no Ko? I I I'm sorry, it's got to be Bleach. Film of the year. Colors Within.

[58:25] Um Mononoke. We got Spy Family, Look Back, My Hero Academia: Your Next, and Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle. Did not watch this one, so I don't have much of an opinion on that. But, uh This is an easy category. I'm sorry.

[58:39] This This is not even a fair category. It's It's Look Back. Like Fujimoto is at his best when he's doing one-shots. When he does like one-shot manga he's at his best. Look Back is stellar.

[58:54] should. It It This Yeah, it goes to Look Back. It It's not even a competition. It's really not. Anime of the year. and Pop Team Epic. Who would have guessed we'd have the six again?

[59:13] you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for always keeping it original. I appreciate you. Ah. Do I even need to say what anime of the year is?

[59:26] let's see if you guys know me, chat. Let's see. I'm I'm looking at it. Do you Let's see. I'm I'm looking at it. Do you Do you know what I'm going to select? here. Um easy easy. The Sinister Sinister

[59:40] Sinister Six it is. Yeah, you guys know it. It's it's it's Frieren. It's it's it's Frieren then. It's it's obvious. So, I have now voted for every category

[59:53] of the awards. How it works. Let's let's take a peek here. Uh let's see. Will there be When will the winners be announced? May 25th, 2025 from Tokyo, Japan.

[1:00:08] How does the voting work? Uh in round one, a panel of judges each category. So, you're telling me the reason why we had these nominees are the exact same over and over is from a panel of judges.

[1:00:28] of anime. They just watch what's popular. Like Let's go to the most popular real quick. Solo Leveling, Apothecary Diaries, Shangri-La, Dr. Stone.

[1:00:42] I see yeah, most popular. I mean, Re: Zero's here, One Piece. The fact that you know, Re: Zero gets snubbed so much and it's here just says enough. Crunchyroll continuously tries to tarnish it in almost every single way

[1:00:56] and the fact that it still remains that popular just says enough. But uh Yeah, there's some clear bias here. For those that have watched it, really good show. You should 100% give this one

[1:01:08] good show. You should 100% give this one a watch. Um I just realized, Daima. Daima wasn't on the list.

[1:01:22] Wait a minute. They didn't have Daima on the list. They didn't even have it for an opening or ending song. Once again, they clearly are counting fall cuz Re: Zero and Mushoku or Re:

[1:01:37] So, they're clearly counting fall season. completely. They they they they straight up

[1:01:52] Daima. It's it's not perfect, but here's the thing. It's fun. And it was good. Like I enjoyed it. As like an OG Dragon Ball fan, it was good. I

[1:02:06] wouldn't say it was perfect. I'm not saying that. But it is crazy because like the opening song of Daima is incredibly good, okay? It's really good. So is the ending. And the fact that it didn't even get for

[1:02:19] those categories alone is kind of nutty. I

[1:02:31] what Yeah. The fact that it's not there, too.

[1:02:44] Go-Go Loser Ranger. Yo! Oh my goodness, I am so glad you wasn't Go-Go Loser Ranger? Oh my goodness. This was probably my favorite opening

[1:02:58] to play it briefly. I can't play the whole thing for obvious reasons, but just like like

[1:03:10] I I love this. Like this scene here is one of my favorite segments of it. Like it's so good. Like I I absolutely love this opening song. I cannot believe it wasn't here as well. Dude,

[1:03:23] they don't watch anime, man. Crunchyroll doesn't watch anime. Like it's very clear. The judges that did the polling just don't watch a lot of stuff. No, yeah, no Spice and Wolf as well? They didn't even have Spice and Wolf on

[1:03:35] They didn't even have Spice and Wolf on there once. Didn't finish it. I have seen a good chunk of it though.

[1:03:48] give every anime opportunity in every category. Yeah, no, that's You see, the problem is is that it's these judges selecting. I I don't have a problem with Crunchyroll having judges doing the the selection for these awards, but it's

[1:04:01] very clear that these judges do not watch a lot of anime. I I think it's fundamentally clear when every single category basically has the six same anime and it's all the mainstream. And the only categories that different like

[1:04:15] are different from the others is like if it's the slice of life category. It's get into the slice of life category, it's still the very like most popular. And it's just like it's clear that they don't actively go

[1:04:29] in to different anime and try to search through it and watch different things to be able to accurately put the stuff on the Anime Awards. little bit more. I I know it's a popularity contest, okay? I I know that,

[1:04:43] but still you would think that there'd be a little bit more professionalism on that end. Um Uzaki-chan. Yeah, Uzaki-chan is Uh they need more genre. Yeah, see that's the thing. The It's not the fact

[1:04:56] have like the Look here, I'll pull it up. They they have a lot of different like categories as you can see here. They have like romance, background art. Actually, yeah.

[1:05:10] Like they don't even have like a psychological category or anything. I psychological. But I mean like this Must Protect at All Costs category. That this is just such a stupid category. It's it's just it's an

[1:05:23] Anya category. It's not a good category. It's just it's a throwaway one. I mean, they have the whole like best anime song when you have like opening and ending Once again, that feels like that's just best score, but overlapping. It's just

[1:05:38] like trying to slap on more popular anime on this. Uh I I think in general there's some really stupid like uh list here that could be exchanged for others. But the fact that it's basically

[1:05:51] dominated by the exact same anime in almost every single category is a almost every single category is a problem. I don't like that. think so. Yes. I voted for Hina. Let me Let me find it.

[1:06:04] Best side character. Yeah, best supporting character right here. I voted Hina. I mean, that's what a hero would do. Obviously, that's why I voted him. yeah, it's just it's all these super obvious

[1:06:18] choices. That no category for best ecchi. This shows how bad this is. You want to know? Gush you want to won the best one, man. I don't care. It would have It wins every year, dude.

[1:06:31] Um yeah, man, it's No, it is a problem. It it's legitimately a problem. You know, like they're awards. Also, where's the best OST? Oh, that's soundtrack here. I'll show you. Best score. That's the OST. I voted Frieren. It was a very

[1:06:45] difficult one for me because like Bleach is good, but once again, we were just So, and looking at it from that perspective, I would say Frieren is what Frieren, I probably would have either went Don to Don or Look Back. That

[1:07:00] that's would have been my options. Um No, seriously. I don't know why they don't. But to be fair, I want to point something out. They have Takamine on here, okay? Like,

[1:07:15] please put them on. I wonder if next year like for Anime Awards 2026 if they will have that anywhere because like it shows everything. I made a video last

[1:07:29] week on it, okay? I'm curious if they will have any category for it just because they allowed that. I doubt it, but who knows? Who knows? a win again. Um please just create your own anime

[1:07:44] money for that, man. Believe me, I would if I did have the money, but I don't. That's another good question. Where is the sci-fi genre? Like where is that?

[1:07:56] Uh What's the best flop of the year? Oh. Uh Woo, okay. Um best flop.

[1:08:11] um hm I'm trying to think. I'm trying to think. Best flop of last year.

[1:08:25] was so bad it was funny? Are we just talking about it's it's the best flop as Cuz if we're talking about just horrible, Ninja Kamui. It just it it was Actually, Uzumaki.

[1:08:39] Uzumaki. That was that was an insane flop. Uzumaki gets that was an insane flop. Uzumaki gets best flop easily. well in chat. I see it. Yeah, I'm glad. I'm glad someone else agrees with me.

[1:08:54] involve Gundam or mecha. I mean, to be fair, there isn't really a lot of sci-fi anime. I mean, unless I'm blind, but there really isn't a whole lot as much as there used to be. Back in like early 2010s, you would

[1:09:06] don't get that much anymore. Um Rock, thank you very much for the $5 donation. You should add memberships to this channel. I'd join for sure. Keep it keeps notifying about it. Like they keep having a notification on top right every

[1:09:19] Chibi, you know you can activate memberships." So, I just I haven't done it. I'm I'm just lazy. Um maybe I might do it if more people are interested. Um, hand at solo stream. I mean, I tried my best. I I've done streams in the past.

[1:09:33] isn't perfect, either. It could be probably a lot better. Um, one day I'll could have a monitor pulled up here where I don't have to look at my phone on the screen.

[1:09:46] think it works. I mean, you guys are obviously able to hear me and see me and the stream seems to be going good, so that's good. Um, Chiru's, why didn't Why didn't they put season one for solo leveling? It's clearly for bias because

[1:09:59] all the marketing and attention. To be fair, I I do agree. Solo leveling has Crunchyroll has had like I think a big pull with solo leveling as well. I could be wrong there, don't quote me on that one. But, I think that in general

[1:10:13] stunt. Uh, Yo Chibi, is Endorsi your favorite TOG chara Yes, I mean, that's why she's she's up here. That's one of my, uh, Chibi, why didn't you say you were going live? Uh, I didn't say it because I just

[1:10:29] didn't say it. I didn't go to I didn't go to Twitter to do it. But, uh, I'm soon. My uh, my fiance needs to be getting some sleep soon. She's got work in the morning and I don't want to keep her up with my loud voice. So, I think

[1:10:42] I'm going to probably hop off here on the stream. Um, I no promises. I'm not going to promise to disappoint anyone, but maybe hear me out, maybe I'll do another stream tomorrow, okay? If not that, the

[1:10:56] next day. We will see. But, uh, what I'll try to do is, uh, I'll I'll figure out a plan. I idea. I have an idea here. I will make a post on Twitter

[1:11:10] and I'm going to probably do one or two things. I want to ask, uh, what would you guys like me to do on stream? Either a read along or something like that. I What's I can't really watch episodes. Copyright, okay? I I It's very

[1:11:23] obvious. Can't really do anime watch alongs unless I just don't show it on screen and I just show my face. So, maybe I can do a read along of face. So, maybe I can do a read along of some kind. If not a read along I more or

[1:11:35] we can react to anime trailers or something like that. We'll figure it something about it either tonight or early in the morning. But, um, I'm going to wrap it up there. You all have a fantastic

[1:11:49] Thank you so much for being sports and tuning in for the stream and all that. Uh, forgive me for the spotty unprofessional nature of it, but, uh, feel free to, uh, leave a like on this

[1:12:01] video as well because it also lets me know you guys like this. You You like you want more of it. Now, that's a really good way to show that you want more of this. But, um, thank you guys. I love you. Be safe. Stay healthy.
