[00:00] This is what it looks like to run at a college track meet. They called me out last since I wasn't supposed to be in this heat. So I real quickly set up my block and prepare for the start even though I was pretty scared. And now we're all off, but I picked my head up a little faster than I was supposed to.
[00:16] Other than that though, it wasn't a bad start. And I was in line with the guys next to me, which is good. Until that guy in the blue shorts casually jogs past me while I'm basically sprinting. But that's okay, because I knew he was way faster than me.
[00:30] This was my first race since last track season, and I thought I was feeling good, until I got to the halfway point here, and was slower than usual, and also more tired than usual. The gap between those two guys in the front started to get bigger, but right here is where you really have to focus on pushing hard and getting your legs up.
[00:47] Unfortunately, I'm just not sure if I had what it takes this race, and even though I wasn't feeling great, I should not have ran this badly. I started to get absolutely gapped by everyone else And ran my slowest time in almost two years
[01:00] I was honestly pretty embarrassed since we drove five hours to this meet And I've been training for months It's okay though, I'll get faster And these are my last three followers So follow the journey
