This podcast-style video features host Hustle interviewing Marco from Owned, the team behind the $1M Game League tournament. They explore why Web3 gaming is currently leading the crypto market, the agency model Owned is building to bridge Web2 and Web3 gaming, and the roadmap for the Unix token. Marco also shares which games he's most excited about and how players can join the free Game League event.

[00:06]
Introducing Owned and the $1M Game League

Host Hustle is joined by Marco from Owned to discuss Web3 gaming. Owned is sponsoring the video and running Game League, a tournament with $1M in prizes, currently live.

[01:32]
Owned's agency model for gaming

Marco explains Owned is not a game discovery platform, but an agency-type model bridging Web2 and Web3 creators. They onboard large Web3 creators and now Web2 creators, combining game worlds and assets.

[03:58]
Game League by the numbers

Game League includes 15 playable Web2 and Web3 games, plus 80 game partners contributing quests, loot boxes, and tournaments. It was created to put Owned in the spotlight and built during the bear market.

[05:12]
Owned's value proposition to games

Owned builds tools, integrates in-game platforms, and provides creator metrics so games can prove user acquisition value and optimize marketing spend.

[08:13]
Free-to-enter, no wallet required

Owned made the entire event free to avoid the stigma and failures of the Creator League, which hid fees and shut down. Signing up does not require a wallet.

[10:08]
Why NFTs got a bad reputation

Marco attributes NFT stigma to overpriced assets (e.g., $3-4K land), celebrity profile-picture NFTs, and the lack of custodial wallets like MetaMask as a barrier. 2022-23 learnings set up a stronger 2024.

[12:02]
Why gaming leads the crypto market

Gaming tokens are rallying because of massive capital in gaming, simple ownership narratives, steady VC funding ($20M/$10M weekly), and the broad appeal of games vs. complex DeFi.

[16:14]
Most anticipated Web3 games

Marco is excited about Shrapnel, Gunzilla (Off the Grid), Parallel, Pulsar, and Big Time. Host adds Wild Card, Star Atlas, and mobile titles like Heroes of Mavia and 'trojan horse' NFT games.

[20:15]
The player hopping problem

Web3 players migrate between hot games, cannibalizing the ecosystem. Sustainable growth requires Web2 users and sticky, quality experiences like Shrapnel or Off the Grid.

[23:42]
Epic Games as the trusted distribution layer

Epic Games Store is a trust anchor for Web2 players; around 70 Web3 games are already listed. Listing on Epic is becoming essential for mainstream legitimacy.

[26:35]
How to join Game League

Registration is open until mid-December: free sign-up on Owned, no wallet needed. Players get a free NFT, Shrapnel starter kit, and Parallel starter kit, plus access to 3,000+ quests.

[29:00]
$1M prize structure

Prizes mix cash and in-game assets: $15K Fortnite, $7K PUBG, $16K Metalcore, $15K CS2, and many asset-based rewards from partners.

[31:42]
Game League timeline and next phase

The tournament runs through December 8; CS2 competitions are being extended while loot boxes are delivered. After a short break, Owned will launch competitive tech and its next phase.

[35:12]
Unix token migration and rebrand

Unix Gaming is rebranding around Owned. First step is token migration to AEX in December, followed by full rebranding and migration in 2024, with user incentives built into the platform.

Web3 gaming is maturing through quality games, trusted platforms like Epic, and free, accessible events such as the Game League. The sector's momentum is built on simple ownership narratives that mainstream gamers can understand.

[00:06] your host hustle and as always we're going to be diving into the web 3 gaming landscape and I'm joined today by a project that has really I would say made some waves over the last few months with their game League which is going on

[00:20] right now million dollars in prizes I will be joined by merco from owned. we're going to dive into the ecosystem we're going to chat why when web 3 gaming is exploding at this moment in time and just why it is leading the

[00:35] market and then some ways that you can get involved in the game league and with what owned. is doing so without further Ado let's get in the

[00:51] game and as always guys like the video and subscribe to the Channel Down Below we are live on in the game and this is the web 3 gaming the crypto gaming channel that we will be live on moving forward and shout out to owned. they are

[01:05] the sponsor of this video and we're going to go ahead and bring on merco how going to go ahead and bring on merco how are you today great thank you hustle for the for the invitation introduction and good to speak again you know like uh

[01:18] been a while but it's always a pleasure yeah every time we catch up on or off air it's usually uh very very good conversations so we'll go ahead and uh dive into this I'll let you kind of just introduce um owned I know you'all been

[01:32] working a lot on this platform over the last I mean I would say year that I mean I don't know exactly when this kind of conceptually came up but at least I feel started whispering about this uh privately so uh what is owned for

[01:47] privately so uh what is owned for someone who might not be aware of it um yeah I mean like as you saw in the space there was like um all these um you know Discovery platforms and um yes so everybody tried the the questing tools

[02:02] and and so on everybody have tried to get something in the in the market out get something in the in the market out in a bare Market get his you know um uh his presence building out that and we wanted to not be a game Discovery

[02:17] acquisition this is where we are strong at and we believe that you know as you look gist you need to uh uh look at the web 2 Gaming space if you look at twitch there is a lot of things happening these people they are like actually promoting

[02:32] gaming right and this is web 2 so um working with the best or the most best uh largest web three creators but also now owned we basically onboarding a lot now owned we basically onboarding a lot of web two creators into the uh into our

[02:47] like as an owned Creator yeah and uh I would say it's kind of a agency type model for web three web 2 Gaming um because like we believe that you know like at the end at some point in time we will play games right and you know some

[03:02] games they have digital assets some they have just in-game assets you know so we we don't really know but we want to combine these two worlds um now and early and um you're right we work on this a while ago and um we we were

[03:16] thinking like what we can do um in the bare Market when there was really like everybody's like sit down and you know like trying to get through that you know some people are crying you know all these memes you know like you know

[03:28] basically said okay look this is a good time because there's so many people they try to get uh they want to cooperate and they want to you know uh in three to basically get um be part of something and you know we are good in organizing

[03:43] we have some background you know we have a large Team all the creators uh name it like Stash's bike there's a bunch of other creators IC gaming and and Matt Ryan so they're all there and and basically helped out and and really like

[03:58] formed this nice game League that is basically is not owned as a platform right I mean game league is the the event what we uh um created and think about it we we put 15 games playable games together web two

[04:13] games web three games plus 80 game Partners you know they're contributing with quests and loot boxes and their tournaments it's really like it's a it's a Mamud project but um we said like this is can put us into a spotlight you know

[04:27] where we're strong at you know um and um I think this is something also like we we had a good timing I would say you this was right in you know when when the green candles show up on on the gaming side and then we have our game League uh

[04:41] coming to basically open up for own um yeah so short basically owned is uh kind yeah so short basically owned is uh kind of a you know the uh um agency I would say but for like we helping really creating tools integrating in the

[04:57] platform trying like getting metrics out there from the creators you know what they can basically use to and and what we can also use with games you know the games they have actually like can really say hey look there's uh um the best

[05:12] value in the market you know like for my user acquisition cost and stuff like that so this is something very really leaning into own and game League um yeah and then we have an awesome awesome Partners like shell for example is one

[05:26] of the the main unfortunately not yet play we would love to play with them you know like and open up the tournament but it's just like we there's so many games we would wanted to add but it's like you know at the moment the time is um these

[05:40] games are available um and for the season one we will definitely have a different bunch of games you know so yeah absolutely and I I love the ideology because right now we don't have the the 25 30 different games like that

[05:56] we could play stream on Twitch and all this stuff so the hybrid between the web two games that traditional Gamers still you know enjoy and love every single day but then on top of that some of the good web 3 experiences that we do have

[06:09] mixture there and I think the content side is is going to be so huge and like have that in the industry and I think this kind of incentivizes web two players to get involved but also more web 3 gameplay content which is uh very

[06:26] important for the long-term health of the industry because if every 's here to just make money and extract from ecosystems it's not going to go as far as we all want it to right so it has to be a give and take and there has to be

[06:38] has to be Gamers that truly enjoy these experiences so I love that own's kind of like positioning up for that what are uh obviously we're looking at some of them here what are some of the other names maybe so there's parallel there's

[06:52] shrapnel uh what are the games for web 3 that are involved in the games League yeah so actually right now we finishing off metal core and it's really interesting to see you know like participation like we had 1,500 players

[07:06] playing metal core on the tournament you know this is like I think a massive uh move you know like for for a tournament uh uh um and the prices are real I mean like you can you know it's based on on skill you know that's all what you bring

[07:18] to the table and of course there's like Classics like fortnite what we wanted to add and of course a mobile game but um yeah um we have Universal magic craft uh oh there's so many

[07:32] many um yeah there's more I don't know if you whole tournament plan I have not in mind but yeah on the top you see fana um there Al spider tanks we had

[07:44] huge thing the second game in line with with Gala games that was a big success um so there's a lot of and we had a like we made that mix because we wanted to you know have the audience come through more on the Web Two game side you know

[07:59] and then they actually can play with three games and just look what's happening actually you know that that they that they don't um you know that they get a little bit like this thinking about like an exy game or like or like a

[08:13] stupid like whatever like a d game yeah and then basically getting them into um and for us there's one important Point what we did and it was we made a whole thing free yeah and that was a big thing because like um and we we've been

[08:29] already planning the whole game League when we uh when we saw the Creator League was a fewu huge disaster you know like when they basically was hiding the know and then it was like they basically shut down so we said like and and I know

[08:46] you mentioned it also in some of your shows so basically like you know people hate this like I call think you call it stigma this nft or whatever like it's like something bad and I was said okay then we of course we get a feedback so

[09:00] stuff you know like what what do you want to like nobody is asking money here you know say we just give away so that was a big big point for us um and I think a lot of people like it and um for sure people will talk about it and you

[09:13] know whatever some people still hate nfts whatever yeah but we cannot change that and I think there will be a few games hopefully convincing also these people you know that this is not a bet yeah right now I think that like you

[09:27] said the stigma around it is just oh nfts and they remember the last cycle they remember these games that had nfts that all kind of maybe went close to zero not all to zero but you know from alltime highs down to what we saw some

[09:42] of these games some of them completely you know collapsed so I understand the whenever you dig into it it's nothing different than a skin that you own in your inventory so I think we understand that but it's more about getting the

[09:55] messaging out there and I do think feel like own is doing a good job of kind of pushing that message messaging that it's just gaming and it's just assets that you you know have you know you can govern over what you do with it yeah and

[10:08] I think it's also the the like not only that the nfts you been in the in the first cycle was like over pric you know like it's not for retail I mean like think about someone who's barely maybe buying a Ultimate Edition or Collector's

[10:22] Edition for 90 bucks you know and then you asking for buying a piece of land for for one ethereum you know what is like whatever that time was3 $4,000 and because like in the same time you remember there was like all these um uh

[10:37] stars like Paris Hilton Justin Bieber they bought the Apes you know so then you see a monkey picture going out for $500,000 and this is an nft you know it's like and then getting into the into the game nft so I understand the

[10:51] like why people you know just back off with these things and then and and there was also no custodial wallets really yet by the time you know there was metamask was a big barrier or let's say the the non non-coral wallet so but luckily we

[11:04] non non-coral wallet so but luckily we have a we did a big learning in 2022 and 23 and I very excited for 2024 uh you know like because there's so many titles in front of the door you know to be release really like good good titles and

[11:18] and as we know good games need some time so yeah be patient and then you know everybody who believe it now will be rewarded yeah that's a perfect segue into my next question that I had for you before we maybe dive into um exactly how

[11:32] game League works and then some of the things that go along with it and how the audience can get involved as well uh first of all why do you think gaming is right now like we see gaming tokens completely flying at this moment in time

[11:47] and there's other sectors specific altcoins that'll do this or that but like the entire gaming landscape right now has been seeing nothing but green for the what feels like the last you know 45 to 60 days at this point so why

[12:02] do you think the gaming side of it the gaming sector is leading this charge in the crypto Market as in general yeah I I think um if you see like you know people who's like looking on a little bit macro side of it like

[12:18] how much money is still floating in even in a bare Market into gaming projects you know so there's like um there's a like huge demand and there's like a new like huge demand and there's like a new m monetization way could be open with

[12:32] with nfts with skin with ownership um but I think you know it's like also for maybe traditional VCS or VCS in general like you know it's easier to understand for people who throwing let's say money on new project that um you know a game

[12:49] you have a skin the skin can be sold and bought and you know like so there is like it's a very simple let's say recipe or you don't need to like be maybe even even your son is playing fortnite and you know that this is a digital asset

[13:02] you pay these v-bucks for your son or whatever and um now you have that basically connected with type into ownership so I think the understanding ownership so I think the understanding is one catalizator for this but um also

[13:14] that like you know we I think everybody can see that there is the big opportunity because like gamers in general they're collecting like myself general they're collecting like myself you included we collecting assets since

[13:27] decades you know like I mean we we grinding for digital assets you know so and this is and they're not in our possession basically you know so and this is I think is like the like where a lot a lot of people and companies and

[13:42] how much money like this I see every week new funding 20 million here 10 million here you know like it's it's like an ongoing thing and um and uh if you just zoom out a bit how many games will come up and look at the

[13:56] have how many person it's not it's a handful but if you think just on a mutable X I think they have like 280 games this is more than like almost the know I'm there's more of course but you know what I mean it's like so yeah

[14:12] that's why I think like gaming is just is where because you also need user right I mean decentralized Finance might be not for six billion user or exactly

[14:25] but gaming is easy like you know like you can catch really everyone more on mobile maybe some on PC you know depends on the region but that's I think where where it's it becomes very very interesting absolutely agree with that

[14:39] last part specifically too because um when you look at the gaming space right now that's that's the one sector in crypto that could make the most sense crypto that could make the most sense the yield farming liquidity pools dexes

[14:52] uh AI tokens aren't really there yet what whatever there's so there's hype narratives but gaming is the one that first of all a kid can understand kids play games all the time uh someone like

[15:05] us can understand because we've gained tons in our life and still jump into assets and now we're able to trade them but then also even parents like parents that give their kids their credit card like yeah go buy that fortnite battle

[15:18] pass like they would also understand this like oh if they ask their kids wait you don't actually you can't do anything with that after you buy it it just stays in your inventory and you can only use one skin at a time on your Char like it

[15:32] this other stuff gets a little complicated and in the weeds for people to be able to understand so gaming in my opinion is the one landscape in crypto that people can jump into in immediately understand as where everything else kind

[15:47] understand as where everything else kind of involves this this real deep dive what is impermanent loss no one wants to deal with that you know what I'm saying like what is what is the best AI tokens there's only a couple that are actually

[15:59] so like when you look at gaming we've had 24 months of a bare market and all these projects that at the beginning were like oh every all the people were like oh these games suck well now we're 24 months later and it takes time to

[16:14] build games and here we are and we have quality experiences on the way in a nonbiased way what are some of the games you're most excited for um yeah definitely shrapnell I mean

[16:27] this is like um I think we had a show together I remember like a while ago something like that yeah long time problem I mean the team is awesome I community while they're building the game and that was a very very good move

[16:42] because not every G this is very strong web 3 uh focused you know if you build community other uh like other than that there's um gunzilla what is for me it's a oh yeah it's a no-brainer I I was there like also almost like one and a

[16:57] half years ago when they when they did the funding I I was able to see some the funding I I was able to see some game footage by that time you know and seeing that game footage and now one and a half years later it's it's two

[17:10] different worlds you know and um there and you see sometimes like they're very web to yeah how there is approach super closed um you know they're making the Right Moves um they they play the web two Playbook to release the game I think

[17:24] they have contracts with some you know console s already and you know their their first release Dr disrespect and clicks and whoever was there like I mean that's a huge opener you know like and

[17:37] that's a huge opener you know like and so they did well and I mean like I'm I'm that's why it's like more same here no I'm with you but I look there's uh Pro Providence then there is Pulsa is interesting you know um there's more

[17:53] title I mean like there is a big time of for sure you know like if you a grind I was a World of Warcraft Dean I would say like addicted like hell also a part

[18:06] of my life um yeah but I mean there will be so beautiful games I think coming 2024 and 2025 and none of us heard about them because there's so many people they they don't necessarily need to like uh I think uh thec is still writing was

[18:22] writing big checks and um there there will be a lot released and in every genre yeah there will be hopefully not too many card games anymore for now yeah because we see a lot but yeah parallel is awesome sorry I absolutely that metal

[18:38] core of course we had it already not that they because on they at game league but in general like you know uh I think the the space and uh is speaking for

[18:50] himself like which games are quality and um yeah yeah the ones I'm looking forward to I'd say on the triaa side off the green gri for sure from Godzilla I'm looking forward to shrapnel ovium still really high on my list as far as uh

[19:04] sentiment and adoption goes I like um I do like what star Atlas has done over the time I think they've been dealt a bad hand sometimes and maybe they also dealt themselves that hand with the expectations they set but their recent

[19:18] you could move in like that's like the triaa sector but you can move I think Wild Card looks fantastic I think big time looks fantastic parallels absolutely killing it then you go to the mobile side and we have experiences like

[19:31] it's kind of like a trojan horse experience you don't even know they're NTS if you just play the game but you know if you dig into it they actually are uh and then you have stuff coming out like Heroes of mavia I've been

[19:43] excited about that a while I love their ecosystem like how they how they build it out and they've been approved even from App Stores you know like apple with also you know like so they don't have the the conflict there um yeah but yeah

[20:00] no there's there's so many like seriously I I have an exra sheet with 800 games you know it's like so I it's like yeah very excited really cool and we'll we'll move on to um maybe a little bit of how the games

[20:15] League exactly works and then so how people can jump into it so uh the one people can jump into it so uh the one thing I'll say is when you look at the the entire landscape of games I think the one problem that we have in the

[20:27] space is not not enough players so like what I mean by that is uh parallel got hot and every web 3 player is playing parallel but then big time got hot and a

[20:39] lot of those migrate over here now I think over time there will be sticky are people are still playing parallel people are playing big time but once this shrapnel Early Access goes live some of the people are going to uproot

[20:53] so I feel like what we've had this problem of in in the web through game industry is the hopping player bases like this player base goes to this game and then Etc so it becomes this C kind of like a cannibalizing ecosystem where

[21:09] no game is the we've seen pixels have a lot of growth for example on the Ronin lot of growth for example on the Ronin chain but like a lot of games recently and and just over the time in web 3 have had that peak in users and then there's

[21:21] that slow burn or even sometimes rapid burn to the downside but with these experiences that are coming out like a shrapnel like an off grid it might be more sustainable where more Gamers actually come into the space and then

[21:33] they're sticky in that ecosystem what what are your thoughts on that yeah I I believe like what what you mention is I think we just I would say it's a kind of a bare market and we don't have enough Web Two user coming into our little

[21:48] and that's why we're circulating like I mean I was working with all the creators you know so they like like we talking about the same freaking games I would say like you know there like few highlights and we shifting just like

[22:01] something oh there's a free Min and there's something you know like so we're just hopping as you said uh from game to game um and there's no like on the one side I think it's it's okay if you have early stage if you build a community

[22:14] what is like carry you you know like like the the ogs you know and I think uh especially in crypto you have a a nice way to incentivize them you know via nfts and air drops and stuff like that so I think this a it's cool cool feature

[22:28] for people who are early there um yeah but um yeah I we we need again what you said like gonzilla and and shopal and games and and and non-custodial wallets uh so so easy single sign on wallets what I

[22:44] mean you know like getting into the game play it and then you basically learn that oh this is a digital assets there a dollar sign on the side and and of course the the gameplay itself will will make it basically um yeah powerful if

[22:58] it's if it's a good shooter and you can team up bro then it's it's no-brainer yeah I mean then then it's growing itself yeah and especially when they are listed on Epic I mean you know this is one of the

[23:11] platforms I think they will have a huge impact on the web3 gaming space um because you know it's a trusted Source right and then if you and and even I I love what for example the launchers in in the space did or doing but you know

[23:27] as a Web Two user why should I trust the web 3 launcher you know exactly I should trust the one I know epic and you know like it's fortnite and it's epic games and you know so I think epic did really something very well there um so

[23:42] yeah we hope and I think there's like already 70 games onic store web three you know yeah I think at first the the first game I think if I remember but one of the first ones to be listed there was the gala games grit like the

[23:56] Western Battle Royale they announced it and like their Malta Gall on the the very first grit yeah that's that's what I think at least um and then I think over time at that time it was like wow like that's huge but now I almost

[24:11] think if you're going to break into the main stream of gaming and try to break into that web two player base it's more of an essential than it is like oh an getting on Epic now if you want your game to be legit and played by the the

[24:26] broader player base of web 2 it almost has to be on Epic Games yeah at least to get that safety stamp you know like I would use epic if I want to validate my game for a web two user it need to be like in Steam unfortunately there's also

[24:42] games but they they have more like they there isn't need to be like a work around hey you can play but you know N nft Stuff outside you know like outside of on the so I think epic is more open there and I think we will see more of

[24:56] these platforms there open open up for web three I mean you cannot just uh uh um deny progress It's time like you would say no to bitcoin you know yeah exactly yeah and we've seen examples like parallel epic games and steam um so

[25:10] through that barrier and I think we're seeing it happen and I see a chat that's seeing it happen and I see a chat that's interesting here on Tuesday Cody says I anything about this because I honestly I don't pay attention to the web two side

[25:23] as much anymore but epic he says Tuesday is the GTA trailer awfully convenient for our situation so if a GTA 6 trailer comes out uh maybe that even stir up the gaming space even more we've we've seen crazier things so uh we'll see

[25:39] so like our game League was freaking what the timing OG fortnite Maps been back introduced you know like player Spike was crazy like we had such a run Spike was crazy like we had such a run on on our fortnite map I mean actually

[25:53] so this is like fun not a fun fact but fact like so so they had a big update and we had actually made a custom fortnite map um called Neo Tokyo and um it was like an eight versus eight battle and yeah it was so updated to death

[26:07] basically like we couldn't fix it until the game League started so anyway but they they introduced OG map so then we said like this is anyway a better play much fun you know like we we made it more like a contest there was so much

[26:20] so many giveaways you know for crazy kills quad pictures and everything was was really nice yeah for sure and um let let's see what we can do trying to get the audience involved here so like um whenever you look at the games like I'm

[26:35] I'm pretty sure people can still register for this right yeah yeah 100% I mean you can sign up I mean of course we be be finishing uh mid December you know the the game League um but yeah go on on. it's free you sign up um you know no

[26:52] need to wallet you can add your wallet if you want we don't need to like but you don't need to necess necessarily have one um you get a free nft it's not yet revealed but it's something cool so we didn't want to just make a pfp so we

[27:06] have something like high rest there's already some teaser about it on the website so you get a free uh nft of course this is like kind of our game pass you know and just by signing up you already get a shner starter kit and a

[27:21] already get a shner starter kit and a parallel starter kit uh starter pack so and Sh if you're like this is actually like like what what we really like uh love the most is like you play one game and you even get the uh medium starter

[27:36] kit from shner and if you play and you win on the lebard you get actually the the heavy starter kit from shner just by being participating in the game league and we have like I don't know like with all our game Partners we have more than

[27:51] thousand or had like 3,000 quests you can do and you can earn free stuff there so there's like a lot lot of things to do if you sign up now you have for sure Counter

[28:04] Strike uh ongoing at the moment Counterstrike 2 um there's like also still price pools open and we have like um a few more highlights to release we have actually a large acquisition some some famous uh players they joined on

[28:18] this CS2 site so yeah I love it and um yeah anyone who we do have a link in the description if get that game pass get some of those assets maybe jump in and try to level up

[28:32] those things because um I think they're doing really cool things here because they're what they're the big thing that I love about this merco is the prizes so a lot of the prizes are comprised of Assets in games right is that a lot of

[28:46] the prizes and then there are some I believe cash prizes but um for the most part I think some of the prizes are the high valued gaming nft stuff which is also going to get ingrained in in these players Minds like of exactly what these

[29:00] million dollars by the way for anyone who didn't catch that at the very beginning um what is that exactly comprised of yeah so what we did like we wanted to make the web two games more because this is what everybody used to

[29:15] play there is a cash price for example there was we had uh 15K on fortnite we there was we had uh 15K on fortnite we had uh um I think 7K on pubg and uh we had uh um I think 7K on pubg and uh we had 16,000 metal core and we have

[29:29] Counterstrike with I think $15,000 so we like we have a lot of um cash prices like we have a lot of um cash prices there um but I mean it was kind of the the plan was here not of course we could have for sure get more cash out but it

[29:44] was like Hey I'm playing a game what maybe the first time and then through the game League I get a free nft on that game so it's like we want to make that kind of like a learning experience with some cool stuff and then having that n f

[29:57] for free and it don't kill you you know and you don't get scammed you know you have like a cool experience and and that's why we mix like competitive um with quests um we have an awesome Quest

[30:10] partner D Quest you know like really managing like all these like I think this is the biggest questing and and I I think actually like we did the biggest web Three Tournament so far in to dat you know plus we like how many games

[30:24] quests and all of them have been done so that's why I'm very excited actually for season one already like then when we actually getting more into the um managed yeah yeah exactly um I love the concept

[30:39] game lean going on for um we started uh almost three weeks ago yeah so it's like we we set like like a month full like every day we

[30:52] don't have every day more than two games at the same time uh because we didn't at the same time uh because we didn't want to overload user um what we do we have might be because we have such a good run on Counter Strike too so we

[31:04] extending uh more competitive place you know like by outside you still can uh um uh because we have still time until we deliver all the loot boxes this is a big

[31:17] deliver all the loot boxes this is a big uh yeah a m project itself you know just to get all the wallets and then all the games all the assets with all these chains you can imagine like how much headache we will have but um yeah so

[31:29] there's time that people wait and that's why we continue with a few games you know to that people still able to play and not just wait and and there still like not yet Christmas so you know so we have still something for the people yeah

[31:42] and wible when will the game League end um officially 8th of August uh sorry um officially 8th of August uh sorry August December okay um and then we actually wanted to to launch our uh um competitive uh Tech I mean like what

[31:58] what we have basically at you know what is the next phase of owned and you know is the next phase of owned and you know like how we want to uh conquer web 3 um because we have so much things going on and then now it's uh you know after

[32:13] everybody took a breath because the team is like really crushing overtimes um like yeah for almost six weeks now you know pre- tournament and my team yeah all the creators everyone who was working on this is a big job and

[32:28] everybody all the games who contributed there's like a nice behind the scenes really there's such a nice environment you know everybody's really excited to show off the game and being basically like taking this tuxedo out you know and

[32:42] and and basically being there so it's it's a very very nice experience yeah projects come together for a great initiative and and put this type of a thing together um lastly I get asked about this occasionally in the chats and

[32:58] um it's good to obviously hear it straight from you so obviously owned has gaming space over the last couple of months uh and obviously on the Twitter they can all see it's powered by Unix now um Unix is kind of like I would say

[33:14] it was the base whenever you guys kind of came to Market it was the guild it was kind of like the the play to earn uh it was like a full-blown infrastructure project though because yall a lot of pillars inside of the project um how

[33:29] does the Unix token maybe factor into the owned ecosystem um I think that's have a question on as well yeah yeah Unix gaming you right there was the The Guild and why we started like of a of Guild model because we always been like

[33:45] user Focus so we wanted to be with the user because that allow us to participate in more games and not being with one game only right so that was the the approach of course it was uh all based on on a few games by that time and

[33:59] it was a I think it was just like as as we spoke about in we spoke about in in un Unlimited Supply tokens you know these Guild models they've been all a little bit like driven by maybe the

[34:13] little bit like driven by maybe the wrong narrative by the time um so and then we worked on own and we wanted to build a cool platform where people actually can use and come to and um we could also call it Unix gaming but I

[34:26] think this is not appealing for a gamer so we call it owned everybody know got owned once in his life you know in game so um and yeah Unix will be uh rebranded we gonna take a similar approach to Merit Circle I mean they did that

[34:41] because they have the beam block blockchain and it just makes sense we don't go on subnet uh we don't have any plans like that but basically that will plans like that but basically that will be a token for the platform itself you

[34:54] know um and that user is like there's a a lot of parts of it will be user incentives you know like for you know participating um but yeah so there will be a lot going on with the token with the for now the migration to aex

[35:12] this is the first step in December and then for the next year we have also a full rebranding and migration and then there will be a lot a lot to tease there but um I'm I'm going to maybe in in janary we have another show and then I

[35:26] can show you the the product that we super proud of and that's really the super proud of and that's really the killer what we feel um social 5 focused web 3 as an add-on um would be very interesting yeah yeah for sure no I'm

[35:39] people love to hear that um you know the Unix token the Unix platform is is still fully in force um building in silence on that side I would say at this moment in time but with the success of owned I definitely would uh take a look into it

[35:53] at this point um that's what I would say there so where can people find more about you owned and obviously down in the description you can sign up guys for assets but uh what's the best way to jump into the

[36:08] action yeah I would say stick on on owned on the on the Twitter I mean there's like usually like we and follow our creators you know if you want to so on I think they have very entertaining content similar uh a little

[36:23] entertaining content similar uh a little bit like less uh um analytic then with focused if you want to learn about a game and you don't want to play it really watch one of our creators for example you can find them on our on the

[36:35] own platform but also in our tweet in our feed I mean um yeah Unix gaming uh there is will be more updates about the tech what we release um but in January

[36:48] what I saying so uh I think if you're more on a like crypto native side that three native side than Unix gaming the Twitter will be rebranded as well um and entertained and want to be see what's the next game latest review and so on

[37:04] then you know owned is a good address I'm more in the background yeah you know the creators are on the front and then for for you I always come come into the spotlight but uh you know like working hard and yeah trying to make uh make uh

[37:20] building something cool as you like you also like ever since we know you you you're grinding working not not stop you know like it's nice to see that in the bare Market yeah absolutely I mean I know we've been both uh you know

[37:34] we've had calls it's awesome to see how much both of us are building um in the the Market's ticking back up and now everyone's getting ideas to put these things into play but we've already kind of made the strides and executed on it

[37:48] so it's great to see in that time um so Marco thanks so much for hopping on the show um I think it was high value people learned a lot I think about owned and and the game League guys sign up down below million dollars in prizes you sign

[38:02] up you can get an extraction pack right off the Jump um definitely hit the link down below and sign up and um merco we'll have to do this again especially you're mentioning I'm excited now that's a little bit of

[38:16] alpha I mean we can maybe do something for a community super Alpha I can show some stuff I I didn't want to do it too much live because like don't have everything yet together but it's uh it's cool so I would love to show you first
