42sHigh energy reaction to finale, emotional engagement with Easter eggs and comic setup.
▶ Play ClipA panel of Daredevil fans and content creators react to and review the season 2 finale of 'Daredevil: Born Again,' discussing its strengths, Easter eggs, and the implications for season 3. They also debate the show's lower viewership compared to season 1 and speculate on future storylines involving Kingpin, Bullseye, and the Hand.
The panel expresses high enthusiasm for the finale, noting it made them feel 'pumped' and excited about the precedent it sets from the comics.
The show has half the viewership of season 1, which the panel finds surprising given the quality. They hope for renewal despite lower ratings.
The panel discusses how leaks of the finale may have been intentional to drive hype, similar to season 1's Bullseye leak.
Nick considers season 2 a step up from season 1, more coherent, with smart details like the title 'Northern Star' tying into the narrative.
Elodie Yung was spotted in NYC, hinting at Elektra's resurrection in season 3, consistent with her comic book history with the Hand.
The panel speculates the Hand and Lady Bullseye as potential villains, with Wilson Bethel returning as Bullseye.
Season 3 likely takes place after 'Avengers: Doomsday' and before 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day,' with Matt possibly in prison.
Set photos show Finn Jones as Danny Rand with Luke Cage and Jessica Jones, suggesting a Defenders reunion to fill the power vacuum after Fisk.
A super chat calls the finale the best Daredevil episode ever, including Netflix. The panel compares it favorably to season 3 of the original series.
The panel debates whether Fisk should become more evil, seek redemption, or be used as a villain for other heroes like Kate Bishop.
A one-shot featuring the Punisher is expected next week, possibly tying into 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day.'
A super chat asks about a comic-accurate White Tiger costume; the panel notes it was already seen in season 1 with Hector.
Bullseye is working for Mr. Charles, who may be setting up the Dark Avengers or Damage Control. Theories include Norman Osborn or Henry Peter Gyrich.
A theory suggests Elektra returns purged of the Hand and becomes Lady Daredevil (or 'She-Devil') to help fight.
Panelists share hopes: more Fisk-Vanessa interaction, Colleen Wing's return, a street-level Endgame battle, Matt in prison, and Turk as a cellmate.
The panel is overwhelmingly positive about the finale, praising its coherence and excitement, while expressing cautious optimism for season 3 despite viewership concerns.

53:36[00:06] >> Rewind. >> Rewind. to talk to you guys finally about the Daredevil: Born Again finale. of season 2. This is incredible. I mean,
[00:21] hard for me when I do this job to get like excited when I watch things cuz you pausing and I'm looking at the laptop and even though I'm analytical, I did miss a couple of Easter eggs that we're going to talk about in a bit. Um but
[00:35] yeah, this one got me like pumped. There was a moment with Angela in the hallway where actually you got Yeah. Uh I was so excited about this. The precedent that this sets from the comics is really exciting. So today, we are
[00:48] a full house today. I can't wait for you to meet everybody who's going to be on. maybe some of the comics that they could draw inspiration from for season 3, and to happen with season 3. They're filming
[01:03] in the city of New York. Uh and we're also going to talk about reception of this show because it's weird that it's got such low ratings. It's got half of the viewership of season 2 or season 1, which is insane to me, but hopefully
[01:17] they keep renewing it because it seems like Dario Scardapane, who won't return really great show and has a vision for it. But to bring on. So this guy, we don't get to see him on screen as much as we would
[01:30] like, but Mr. Ethan Eggs. So Ethan co-wrote all of Daredevil: Born Again videos with me. He did a fantastic job. Uh Ethan, it's great to see you, man. Are you excited about this finale? >> I am very worried about the direction of
[01:45] in terms of the episode, it was great. I loved it. Um I saw it a little while ago, but I was so excited to see people's like reactions to this big reveal, and uh yeah, I I had a great time writing this season with you.
[02:01] >> Yeah, I think you watched it way earlier than I did. I watched them as I went. So, like I was predicting things so accurately at one point that it seemed like I did watch ahead, but I didn't. I didn't know that like that um
[02:14] he Matt spoil Oh, by the way, hold on. Hold on. Real quick, spoiler alert ahead for the finale of Daredevil Born Again season 2. And um of course, super chats So, you know, throw those in there if
[02:29] so I didn't watch ahead, and there were some things I got right. I'm like, predicted it, but I didn't. I didn't steal anything. So, uh next up, you know Along, old friend of the channel here, we got Mr. Nicholas Miceli. What's up,
[02:43] having me. >> Did you get your background rearranged we were talking about Darth Maul today, so he put all his Star Wars [ __ ] up in >> Yeah, I had to change my shirt. I had to move So, we still have my porg in the
[02:57] fits. >> It would be funnier if we made you do it [laughter] and like switch everything around." >> It would've been like that episode of Growing Pains where Ben Seaver loses
[03:11] cheated on his wife and he rips his posters down and and he says, "I don't like Brad Pitt anymore." cuz Brad Pitt played the guy. Just me? are really young. Got it. >> Bring on Colton filled up.
[03:24] next, we have him uh this is Doug's attorney, Mr. Mike Mazzeo. What's going >> Hey, hey, what's going on, guys? I also changed my background to make it more >> Oh my god, you're in prison. >> the green screen. I think every time we
[03:39] up a little bit. >> Just slightly, just a little bit. Next time I'll bring in a lot more of those neon signs with my handle. Might even >> Fans, you know, really want it. >> Yeah, I have advice on that kind of
[03:54] >> The wood [laughter] paneling, they make this wood paneling that's like slats. It You can put lights around it. It looks fantastic. >> in courthouses. Yeah, very familiar. >> See, that's what we need. We need you to
[04:06] You know, like we need like >> Just books. So many books. >> leather bound volumes. >> Well-read man. comedian and you got a show coming up soon, is that right?
[04:19] >> I am a comedian and an actor and a lawyer. It is a complicated life. I do not sleep a lot. Uh yeah, I do shows here in Chicago. If you're in Chicago follow me at Mike M Comedy. I post about that stuff all the time. But today we
[04:32] are here to talk about Daredevil and we are I'm joining you from a prison cell. I'm actually cellmates with Matt. We both got arrested. We both got >> And Mike likes to look at that wall because it makes him feel alone. And
[04:45] before we go on, I got to bring on my next friend here. You guys know him as doesn't know it. So please don't tell him, Mr. Colton Augburn. I almost have nerds here. This is the >> had Tommy here
[04:58] >> Tommy's the soul stone. >> Six is too many people. It's just >> Yeah. What's up, Cole? >> I was going to say it looks like rabbit in a snow snowstorm behind Mike there. So
[05:12] >> Well, Mike, I cut you off right there. >> Oh, just what a phenomenal finale this was. I mean, like just really send it off with a bang, dialed it up to 11. Um
[05:25] Man, how did they get all of the extras in that scene to be quiet? I mean, NDAs, in that scene to be quiet? I mean, NDAs, but like wow, there was a lot of people. >> I don't think they were that worried about it. I mean, like you said, Ethan,
[05:38] they they sent that screener out. God, what, 2 months ago? So it's and it's been sitting there on our our, you know, like for people to watch, you know, if just like, I'm I'm going to watch as it goes. I'm going to watch as it goes.
[05:53] >> Well, but Ryan tried I tried really hard and failed miserably. >> To Ryan's point about how the viewership is is down this season, which doesn't like, "Hey, you know what? We have something really good here, and I wish
[06:06] more people knew about it. And maybe if some leaks get out there, it'll drive up a little bit more hype." Because this really was a phenomenal season that uh >> That's why I don't >> what they did for season 1, too. They
[06:18] they deliberately showed everybody the Bullseye on the street length. I think >> That's why I don't get why people are bitching about uh season 3, like, uh you spoiled or whatever that they're filming, you know, right now in New
[06:32] York. I I don't get why they're >> You can talk about it now, but Mike Mike >> Mike Colter's >> That one was too much. Matt Murdock in >> That one was too much. Matt Murdock in prison was stupid. I hated that I saw
[06:44] >> That one was bad, and that one shouldn't have leaked, though. That That's Mike they're filming on the street and all that, I one, I don't care if stuff leaks because I don't want them to have to lock down the set and make it all the
[06:58] more complicated to shoot or wait until season 2 is out before they start filming season 3 because then it's a year and a half, 2 years before we get season 3. So, I'm glad they're just like, "You know what? If you see
[07:11] >> If you see Vincent D'Onofrio walking down the street with a beanie and a beard, just don't worry about it. It's fine. But yeah, that Mike Colter one, my >> Yeah, that was that was bad. And there's also I saw it after the fact.
[07:26] Somebody a woman dressed up as Muse, a lot like oh, somebody become a woman >> Morgan Witter? >> Not my Muse. >> Yeah, and the hashtag not my Muse. I like my serial killers male.
[07:40] great finale. just get everybody's thoughts on it, man. Like um, and Nick, thoughts from it. >> I thought it was brilliant. Um, to your >> [laughter] >> That's fair. To your to your point, it
[07:54] is surprising that the viewership is lower. I I I do think that this season is a step up from the last one, and I really enjoyed the last one. I think that this was better more more coherent. I think they put in a lot of really
[08:07] smart stuff, you know, there's a a clearly a tremendous amount of love on the part of the writers. If you look at the first episode is is called the Northern Star, which is the name of the ship, but is also then the last episode
[08:20] >> yeah. >> And so, you have these two um uh direction directional constellation type gestures that they're dealing with, and you literally see a fall at that point,
[08:33] right? From Matt being at the top of the world to all the way being in in in prison. And so, it's just those kind of chef's kiss details. It's it's fantastic. I have I have no complaints, no notes.
[08:47] animator just pointed out uh give us a super chat for five bucks. Thanks so much. Elektra's actress Elodie Yung was spotted in New York City today. Not a confirmation of her in season three. She wasn't in costume or anything, but um I
[09:00] this ending and what's next, and we'll talk about our like thoughts on everything that happened a little bit down the line. So, Elektra is resurrected, right? She died in the Daredevil season two. She died
[09:13] her whole thing is being resurrected by The Hand, a ninja death cult who believes in resurrection. I I think she's in season three spotted, because I don't know what the hell else they can who they're going to
[09:25] villain? Like, who else can they have in season three? >> ninja cult that is popping up, by the way, in Spider-Man brand new day in a prison. If you watch the trailer, Peter is in prison. Yeah, they're in like a
[09:39] cell block, so Do you guys I I think that he's in the >> I think he's in the movie. He's 100% >> Well, no. No, he said he's not. >> Oh, well, then of course. >> Yeah, I know.
[09:51] >> Yeah. >> Can you believe some people still think >> Yeah. No, he wasn't. >> You know he denied it. He denied it put him in it. It was kind of interesting. You could tell it was AI.
[10:05] What do you guys think about prospects here for season 3? Let me just get your specific questions. Like, what do you Who's the villain? What are we looking >> I think it's definitely the hand. Like, it has to be the hand at this point.
[10:18] >> Well, and Lady Meux a little bit. >> Lady Meux, of course, will play a role in it. I saw a lot of people Yeah, I saw a lot of people talking uh Lady Bullseye, which I'm not too
[10:30] familiar with in the comics, but I heard is a Hand assassin. So, it's like you know, bringing that in. We We know Wilson Bethel is returning as Bullseye at some point in season 3. So, he'll be
[10:43] a villain, or maybe he's one of the good guys now. Don't know exactly. But, uh >> It's weird trying to put lady in front of like, you know, like we didn't say Lady Doctor Light. He was just Doctor Light
[10:55] too for people who really like obscure '80s villains in comics. >> [laughter] >> Exactly. have it queued up right now. But, is that a new thing in comics? Like, or are
[11:08] they tacking lady at the start Like, what? Does Bullseye have long eyelashes would even need to put a gender on it. If it's a new Bullseye, it's a new >> Right. >> I have no idea. I'm not familiar with
[11:20] existed. >> I I hope that Not that I care if it's a Lady Bullseye, but I I don't want a new Bullseye. I'm very excited for whatever they are planning to do with our our current
[11:32] Bullseye. and I don't think it's Daredevil season 3. I don't even know that it's a TV series necessarily. It might be. I I Ryan, I'm not sure if you haven't got a chance to watch it yet, but you and I have both been on the same
[11:46] page that I think he's going to be a mutant and I think in the mutant saga maybe he's on like a task force X. Maybe he's working like maybe William Charles and all them. I think there's a cool direction to take that character.
[11:59] I think you mentioned this to me earlier. Um put this in our background. Or like they may be going to Asia, but he was reading an Asian travel book like a few episodes ago. Could be going to Madripoor.
[12:12] you know, not just where Baron Zemo did the dance. It's also a big location in the X-Men comics. Logan's in and out of there. So that could be if if if season who knows how the hell they're going to I think season 3's going to take place
[12:25] they're going to do it. Even though Doomsday's come out, they'll be like beginning. This happens before Avengers Doomsday. Uh would be my guess. Some some sort of like place it.
[12:37] Uh can I circle back to after Brand New Day? Yeah. Yeah. Oh yeah, that's right. prison in Brand New Day. I would assume that season 3 has to take place after
[12:49] he's out of prison and on the run. But that also presents issues cuz this whole season he was more or less on the run like I don't think they break him out in up as Daredevil I think he gives him a little salute. That's it. I think Matt
[13:03] is in prison the bulk of season 3. I would think. I think that's what would hoping that Fisk was going to get in prison again, too and that we would have survive. I I thought that would have been a cool season.
[13:16] >> Brian Michael Bendis run. I think it was called Devil in Cell Block D where he prison at the same time. Excellent stuff. Great comic. Yeah. Well, all right. As far as if he's in prison the whole time, cool. I like
[13:30] drama because we also have we're counterbalancing that with another set photo, I guess we can talk about this show Danny Rand. Oh my gosh, Finn Jones, right? On set with Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. So,
[13:44] the Defenders are reuniting and maybe they're taking care of New York. I do think there's a power vacuum after Wilson Fisk is gone, don't you guys? >> Yeah. I mean, Brand New Day has Tombstone.
[13:56] Like and we're seeing in Brand New Day like a ton of villains like show up again in New York City. So, there will be like some sort of grasp at power here and I hope that is filled with more characters. Tombstone obviously is
[14:09] the big one. I really hope I really wanted to see like oh, the mysterious backer behind Scorpion and behind the villains is Oscorp. Norman Osborn, bring him in. I like even with the No Way Home stuff how he
[14:23] Norman Osborn, it doesn't matter. It's Norman Osborn, bring him back. [ __ ] in the water when they did that. When they gave them a Norman Osborn and >> Yeah. >> I hope that in after after Secret Wars
[14:38] Peter's memories are erased so they can introduce Norman Osborn and Doctor Octopus in the MCU. >> But he doesn't exist, right? I mean, we already have Willem Dafoe said I I looked around Oscorp doesn't exist. Like
[14:50] that in No Way Home. They should have just said, yeah, Norman Osborn exists but he's not a billionaire and he's not, and whatever and then maybe that provides for a future Oscorp.
[15:03] >> At least the happiest he's ever been in any reality. He just >> Oh, there's a He's got a weird thing where he collects goblin figurines and >> thinks they're He just thinks they're cool. Like he just wants to show you
[15:16] >> Maybe he has a weird connection to them. >> He talks to them, yeah. >> One of them's obsessed with the heart. DON'T KNOW. >> [laughter]
[15:33] I DON'T KNOW. I KIND of hope in the MCU post Secret Wars that reset does mean I see those classic villains, but I was also like, "Oh, that kind of means that >> No Way Home is like a big juicy triple bacon
[15:49] cheeseburger. It is fantastic. You know, you're looking forward to it while you're eating it. It's so good, but afterwards you feel like [ __ ] and then weeks later you feel like [ __ ] You've got acne, you're gaining weight.
[16:03] It's just not good. It was fun, but it just messes everything else up. >> Colton, are you I think you veered more into weight gain than you did the actual experience of watching No Way Home. >> The No Way Home hangover.
[16:15] like, "And then you just go back to Arby's cuz you're sad and now that's >> dieting, but it's still Arby's and you get extra horsey sauce. >> Yeah. >> what it did to everything else and like
[16:29] you're saying. Yeah, it pretty much makes it to where we have to bench his biggest villains. Yeah, it's right. really get a true Sinister Six movie.
[16:41] Like that was almost a Sinister Six and now if we wanted to do a true Sinister "Well, we already kind of did that in No Way Home." >> Now, someone didn't see the post-credit scene to Morbius. They're working on it.
[16:53] >> Yeah. >> We don't normally do super chats this rolling in and there's some pretty good ones in here that I just want to address and shout out real quick. Phase One gave us two bucks and said
[17:06] today. Don't know what that means. Thank you. Grant 4991 gave us $5. Been work Been watching Ryan since Clone Wars season 7 breakdowns. My guy. I love this finale. Best Daredevil episode yet counting Netflix.
[17:20] >> What do you think about that? Definitely bigger scale than the Netflix shows. Do with classic Netflix episodes? >> When I finished this, I put it right next to season 3, which I think is the best of the original seasons. Maybe now
[17:34] it's like it's maybe on par with season 1 cuz it's like there people throw this idea around a lot that season 1 is like a perfect season of television. There's like very little filler. It's 13 episodes of like
[17:47] like I think this season is as close as we're going to get to the original show. Next season we'll see what the hand stuff is always like a murky water, but um I think this season 2 was like
[18:04] wanted from season 1. And sorry to go on, but like cuz you guys mentioned earlier how viewership fell off, I think Born Again season 1 did so badly that Like everyone watched >> This is also season 5 of a television
[18:19] >> Yeah. >> But but season 1 had that big boom Netflix things are back. This is the first foray." And Born Again season 1 is fine. It for the first episode and then the last two episodes are great. And
[18:32] then the middle parts there's good ideas, but it's all like disappointing >> What it's going to do is the same thing you see happen with any like franchise. Like take the Raimi Spider-Man films. Spider-Man 2 I think we can all agree is
[18:46] the far superior film, but Spider-Man 3 made a [ __ ] ton more money >> More money. >> because Spider-Man 2 was so good. It had such a good lead-in. And so I think season 3 I think once people, you know,
[18:59] start, you know, catching up on Born Again and hearing how good it is, take you're going to I think season that's going to bode well for season 3. Disney Plus numbers have been coming out, and like The Acolyte has is always
[19:14] There's shows that weren't paid attention to at the beginning that have for them. Um we've got another one here. This is a I'll throw another one I missed that I noticed on a rewatch. Uh Silhouette
[19:28] "Did y'all see the Cybertech newspaper in BB Urqs' office at the end of the newspaper? Agents of Shield is canon. I didn't see it at all, and I wish I had." >> that this morning, too. >> Basterds. Um I'll take I don't know what
[19:42] you also missed in that last scene that BB's putting together a Statue of this does not have the Captain America shield on it. And I think >> Is it the bronze, or is it
[19:57] >> It's green. So, I mean the screen, yeah. >> Wait, why the hell is it green? quickly? >> Well, no. I think it oxidized. Like the salt air. >> [laughter]
[20:10] happen. So, maybe it would happen that quickly. I don't know. because it showed and it's got like little skyscrapers cuz it's Jessica Let's put together this LEGO of the city." And it was a small detail that I
[20:23] breakdown. There you go. And Silhouette Animator uh also gave us two bucks and said she probably inhaled a lot of that dragon the end of um season of at the end of The Defenders.
[20:37] let a dragon out under the sea. But again, like if they get too tied into I think it's going to hurt their numbers even more. >> Yeah. It's been a hot minute since I've seen it. Did Elektra at the end of The
[20:49] rubble? Is that >> What happened? if she died there. Maybe she left just since then. >> Well, I mean, if Matt survived it, I
[21:02] >> Yeah, exactly. >> Uh maybe she found the Mole Man of this universe, Paul Walter Hauser, and enjoying each other's company in Subterranea. >> They're married. Things are going great.
[21:14] >> She's never told him about her old life. >> Does Does anyone here have Daredevil Born Again season 2 with the top of your ranking of the five seasons? >> I'm going to be honest, I'm going to catch a lot of hate for this. I was
[21:30] never that invested in the Netflix shows because I thought for a decade, literally a decade, that they were just going to be forgotten to time, and that they were never going to be canonized. And so, I watched them, but I was never
[21:43] that invested in them for their role in the larger universe, cuz I didn't have happen. Now that it's happened, I've gone back and I've rewatched them. I do were a little too long and could have been shorter. I think eight season
[21:58] >> eight episode seasons is really the sweet spot. I really, really like this season of Born Again. Um I think it's definitely better than the first season of Born Again. In my mind, I would put it above the Netflix shows, but that's
[22:11] because I was never that much of a Netflix Daredevil stan to begin with. I mean, obviously love Daredevil, um but just didn't didn't It felt a little soap opery to me at the time, and I think that's what turned me off to it.
[22:24] more of uh a superhero show than I really enjoyed. I thought Daredevil season 1 was brilliant. Season 2 dragged
[22:36] a bit for me, I think in part cuz of the Hand stuff can be murky, as you pointed out. Season 3, I thought tied it together, was really, really well done. But there was always a sense that it was a bit more um gritty, darker, which is
[22:49] which is great, but this added a bit of of pop in some ways in terms of coloration and and engagement and action. So, to me, it's a little bit more like reading a a comic book than when I watched, you know, season 1 of
[23:02] writing, but it also can appeal to anyone whether they like superheroes kind of or not. There it it has that quality of just kind of being a solid drama, kind of solid crime show. So,
[23:15] this one, I don't know. I I I would I'm fine with catching hate. I mean, pineapples notwithstanding, sure, I think that this might be the best season think that this might be the best season of it. Um and I do think that I do want
[23:28] what they do with season 3. I I do think that when you look at shows, there is connect with with the other things around it. And season 2 is in part stronger because of Born Again season 1. And then season 3, you all have me
[23:44] you're talking about is let's go here, let's go there, let's bring in this person, let's bring in that person. I want to tie up the Fisk Fisk narrative some more. And I I know that that is something that a lot of people like,
[23:56] to me that that's been the core of this whole story. And if he's basically just kind of done in his personal hell slash heaven on the beach where Vanessa isn't, to to me that's not a great narrative. I need to see what happens between him and
[24:13] need to see what happens between him and Matt and how Matt climbs his way kind of relationship to Fisk. Their relationship, I don't want to just see dismissed. The end scene, well, it's not the end scene, but the
[24:25] kind of the last interaction between the two of them, that moment of grace and Don't just leave it there. >> So, where do you guys say Fisk is going to go? Like That's my thing is like we've seen this guy for so many seasons.
[24:37] not literally go, but like where does that storyline go? Where does he end up? that storyline go? Where does he end up? >> I'm I love the the seeing those two on screen together, but God, I I'm tired of it. I do not want to see him be
[24:51] Daredevil's villain again, at least for a really long time. In fact, if we see future, I hope it's them having to work together because I think that is the more interesting angle. I mean, we've already
[25:04] told what four four times that this a season of television with them fighting each other? Season 2 was our only break from >> Yeah, and how do you do that though in the show because Fisk is not just the
[25:17] villain, he's not just the antagonist, he's almost like a second lead. >> like Billions when they were like, "Oh, we're just going to keep Paul Giamatti >> I don't know, I think they replaced him pretty well with the Punisher in season
[25:30] Punisher >> here I think here's what you can do with to do a redemption thing, which I don't know how you do after we watched him of a wall. >> Jesus. Yeah.
[25:43] Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, just for the victims' families. >> weird. He killed a bunch of people. >> Right. >> Yeah. Um a cool way to do it, and I'm
[25:56] trying to think of a show as an Here's a good example. Uh Better Call Saul. You see Saul's story and Mike Ehrmantraut's story almost as just two completely separate shows in the seasons of that show. And then every few episodes, maybe
[26:12] they'll kind of cross paths, but they're almost just like two completely separate I think that's how you could handle a Born Again season 3 cuz to your point, it's it's a Kingpin show as well. See what Kingpin's up to,
[26:26] crisscrossing paths or him being the villain or anything. Just show us his story, like what he is doing in his solitude. And I don't want to hug the mic, but I think another thing that you can do is
[26:39] I did not like Hawkeye. I did not like what they did with Kingpin in Hawkeye or Echo really, but I do think there is potential to have Kingpin serve as some type of not necessarily a muahaha villain, but just a he's
[26:55] dangerous type antagonist and you know to Kate Bishop or the Young Avengers or something like that. Have him serve as a villain to someone else. Not Daredevil. >> How many seasons are we beyond him at this point, right?
[27:10] Like Spider-Man our MCU Spider-Man would absolutely trounce the MCU Kingpin, >> Well, >> The comic book Kingpin or the media Kingpin or the media show from the '90s >> Can he rip the car door off?
[27:23] >> I mean there's a list of him doing something wrong. I mean that's the other that Kingpin ever really fought Spider-Man. I'm sure there's a few comic there's it's more about he hires
[27:37] Spider-Man can't pin him down cuz he's so evasive. >> Yeah, it it we see them fight in the uh >> They throw hands. >> Yeah, we see him fight.
[27:50] >> Well, yeah, but that's that's you know, Spider-Man's power level's greatly >> saying to your point in that game it's even a little weird. Like I think you see them fall like from this tall level of a building and it's like, "How is
[28:02] >> And and and in that game Spider-Man like has to punch and kick a mugger several doesn't even >> I think it'd be kind of cool if they I think it'd be >> Okay, enough of that.
[28:14] Obscene Sanity gave us 10 bucks and along these same lines said, "I might be Spider-Man was not involved or mentioned considering how critical things got in the city." The man in a spider outfit. I hope I
[28:27] yesterday or a couple days ago is supposed to address weird, but that's how movie studio writes works. that he didn't show up during the Thunderbolts thing. All the stuff that
[28:40] police putting people in jail. Yeah, they're going to have to have >> That that happened super quick and he could have been involved. Yeah. city. Also, what help could he have been if he got shadowed, you know, and was in
[28:55] know? >> Can we ask was any part of the anti-vigilante task force tasked with finding Spider-Man cuz none of them ever mention it and none of them even are like it would be nice just have them
[29:07] back into the precinct all wrapped up in webs. Like we tried. >> something like that. They could have done a little like just a little wink >> Maybe they'll show it in Brand New Day. >> I hope so.
[29:20] >> There's a great There's a great part in the Daredevil Mayor Kingpin storyline, actually not a crooked cop. He's brought in from Chicago to help catch vigilantes. And the way they portray it from his point of view when he
[29:32] encounters Spider-Man and he's like, "You just don't have any idea how humbling it is to be able to see somebody jump 45 ft in the air in front getting this guy." Yeah, I think even You're right, Mike. That's the exact
[29:47] in webs like yeah, he got bias. And you don't have to explain who it is. We >> And that's all you need. But we'll see. Maybe they mention it in the book. Uh Silhouette Animator gave us another five bucks and said, "My head canon, Peter
[29:59] Spidey didn't want to risk his his degree by ignoring finals to fight the >> Maybe >> The other two Peters were like, "Focus >> Yeah, exactly. Trust me. We We'll tell you what we did wrong. And Silhouette
[30:13] keeping this channel afloat. Said, "Where's Omni-Man? I mean Sharon Carter." Um not sure what the Omni-Man connection is there. Sharon Carter >> joke. I get it. >> Oh, got it.
[30:26] one. >> Got it. Got it. Got it. Hopefully she especially if they're doing Madripoor. >> Maybe that's who Poindexter and Mr. Charles are going to go meet. I don't know. Oh, yeah. I think that's actually
[30:40] >> had something to do with the arms deal on the Northern Star, too. Who supplied >> That'd be cool. >> He Yeah, he does say where those are run through Madripoor first. I love that.
[30:54] >> No, no, it's all good. I was just going to say, you know, Wilson is unaware of how kind of small he really is. And so she's part of a larger world of all that, probably dealing like with Valentina and stuff like that. So, yeah,
[31:07] it makes sense that as it expands and that's what we're seeing in that scene with Bullseye on the plane. We're seeing We're seeing that world expand out into what the show's doing really well is keeping things I think a little narrow
[31:19] in its in in its lane and then we'll see it explode out in connection to other anything about Frank in a in an end scene. That would have brought me a lot >> My spouse and I were watching like, come on, come on, Frank. Just give me just
[31:35] But >> He was busy. >> We'll see you next week, yeah. >> Apparently, um, we're going to get the explanation next week. They just said in an interview this morning, uh, D'Ario
[31:48] >> When does the one-shot come out? >> So, he said the one-shot is next week, >> Yeah. >> They're not releasing the screener for very unusual. I thought it would come out today. So, either that's, you know,
[32:02] really good news cuz they don't want to spoil it or really bad news. If it was >> Probably because it has some direct tie-in to Brand New Day. That's probably >> I don't know if Spider-Man it if Spider-Man makes a cameo, I
[32:17] >> think he can. That's the thing with TV rights. They would have to negotiate an entire new deal with Sony for him to appear in live action on television or anything animated over, I think it's 30 minutes. Like that's why Marvel Zombies
[32:30] >> Surely there's some type of clause where you can just say I don't know. You're a lawyer. What Is there anything that you can say like Yeah. >> You have to You have to keep in mind,
[32:43] too, that any existing agreement that they have to share him in the movies is likely limited only to movie rights, and television rights or streaming rights even been included in the deal, and we know that now Amazon is doing this
[32:58] Spider-Noir television series. It's the first live-action Spider-Man television series, I think, ever. >> It's actually actually It's actually Spider-Man, I think. They're not allowed to say Spider-Man. They call him the
[33:12] Spider-Noir. >> It's not even Peter Parker. It's Ben >> But the Japanese Spider-Man show was live-action. Thank you. American television >> American one, as well, in the 1970s.
[33:26] >> Was there one in the '70s? So, we just we we haven't had a modern-day live-action television representation of >> I would just like to say >> I think Mike pretty much just said the Japanese one doesn't count. I think
[33:39] >> [laughter] >> So, they really gave us Even though in a roundabout way, that show gave us the Power Rangers. Watch our video on that. a fight by the way
[33:51] >> So, about about licensing rights >> Hold on, guys. Who's Who's got the weird Who's got the Yeah, we got a weird feedback or >> All right. Let's take turns muting. >> All right. We'll do this live. We'll
[34:05] take turns muting. Okay, Nick is muted. We got another one here. Definitely not Nick. Okay. We've got another super chat here from Arroyo. Gave us two bucks and said, "Will we see a comic-accurate White Tiger costume?"
[34:21] >> Oh, wait. Hold on. >> I'm so distracted. I need I >> I'm so distracted. I need I >> It was not Mike. It was not Mike. It was uh smell. >> Ethan did it.
[34:34] >> He's gone. We never let him on. Okay, he's gone. All right. had tech issues. I am disgusted in him. >> The question here is will we ever see a comic accurate White Tiger costume? We
[34:49] did in season one. >> Yeah, I think they did with Hector. [ __ ] man. >> I mean I I I assume we will. I That's part of where they're going, it seems, is they're kind of making season three
[35:02] potentially one that has more of this kind of team up that's probably dealing with stuff while um you know, while Matt is in prison. I did licensing to your point as well though in regards to like Spider-Man and all
[35:15] that. It is interesting to note like even within a a studio or even within a company like Universal, when they do like HHN, when they have a monster house
[35:27] that has like Frankenstein, they still have to license it from themselves. Universal has to like license it from Universal. It's super weird. So, I can only imagine the kind of contract complexity
[35:40] across streaming from films it's probably impossible to do without an army of attorneys. >> Well, they the literal deal is though it animation it has to be under 30 minutes. Like that's at least of the original
[35:54] started >> it just to add something else. I wouldn't go and do that. And we have a lot more to talk about this, but first I right now we have this Star Wars sale
[36:08] going on at our merch store for May the 4th. Every Star Wars far away galaxy item is 15% off and if you are a ScreenCrush store member at our $5 tier, you get an additional 15% off plus exclusive videos. We're going to do
[36:22] stream. The first one we should be doing next week. We just got to work out like how we're going to stream the the code so you can watch along with us, but we'll announce that later this week. And if you want to also become a store owner
[36:35] tier, that's $100 a month. A couple of you already have. Thank you for that. I stream right now. With that, you get everything else plus your name in videos at the end of every month, so on the 15th of May. And we're going to do a
[36:48] and again, we'll send out all the information for that to our community really cool Star Wars parody merch, we're going to be taking down a lot of our Daredevil merch soon, but we have things like the No Fear hallway fight.
[37:00] This is a Star Wars I clicked it accidentally, but Darth Vulcan. We have uh let's see here uh Matt Murdock, really good lawyer, and many, many merch include things like the Hello There, Welcome Matt and t-shirt and many
[37:15] more. Links for all of those Daredevil shirts are below, and Ethan's rocking my >> This one's so good. It just came in yesterday. My good by the way. Look what I'm rocking. I'm rocking My shirt is what Matt Murdock sees.
[37:29] season 3. >> Yeah, it's what Matt sees a world on >> All right. Damn it. >> We asked about rankings earlier, and it took me a while. I think I would go season 1 as my top because
[37:44] >> it was such a thrill for me to see it portrayed well on screen after the Ben Affleck movie. I think I'd go season 3 next and then this season beneath that. This is kind of where I'm at on it. Uh and then Daredevil season 2 and then
[37:59] um ordering them. >> I need to watch season 2 again because for some reason in my head, I I was thinking like season 2 was great, but I I when I'm in these conversations with people, I often hear season 2 like at
[38:11] the bottom of the list. So >> It's not a bad ending. Yeah, it's not >> It gets better on the re- rewatch. The first time I saw it, I was kind kind see, it's interesting though like Ryan what you're saying about season 1. To
[38:25] struggles with the fact that it's an origin story in a lot of ways. Like and that's one of those things that's been done over and over and over again. So, brilliant. But we also have to spend a lot of time kind of getting into the
[38:39] suit and seeing how the suit happens. And I think that's part of why I don't I don't feel married to needing it to be number one. >> Well, the thing about >> It's very similar to like Batman Begins.
[38:52] >> But the thing about origin stories is, you're right, they do have heavy lifting story from our universe. They have to like very slowly pull us away from our preconceived. It just for me, the the the very first scene of the show where
[39:07] second scene of the show, which is him stopping those guys at the dock, are the two most if I had to explain Daredevil to somebody, those would be the two they're so pitch perfect. And Fisk doesn't appear till episode 4. They just
[39:20] in that season. >> I I would just like to say that Ryan and wrong. [laughter] >> I I think those like season 1 >> [laughter] >> Yeah. Ethan calls himself a real fan.
[39:36] >> I like season 1. It's my second >> specifically said that you don't like >> It's Yeah, I'm born again. >> [laughter] >> ALL RIGHT. LET'S CIRCLE back around. We we touched on Fisk a second ago then we
[39:48] uh super chats. And by the way, keep those rolling in guys. those rolling in guys. >> No, it was Ethan. It wasn't Mike. we kind of went back and forth, but I I just don't know
[40:05] Okay, so yeah, they want to continue his story. What direction will it go? Like finally acknowledged uh I can't do like I don't see how he like what Colton said, they have to work
[40:18] together. But even then, against whom is it what threat could they possibly would it be the hand cuz the hand opposed Mayor going to see like ninja death cults? Maybe they take control of Bullseye as
[40:31] well. Is it going to go full on like the war that was promised by Stick finally What could possibly bring these guys together? And do we want to see Fisk get a redemption arc, you know, or is it better if he's this villain character
[40:45] who's living in torment on this island? >> I just want to see him become more evil. Like I feel like Wilson Fisk has always thought of himself as the good guy or like killing somebody or smashing their
[40:58] head in a car door. He still has always kind of seen himself as virtuous and like having a reason for all of the things that he's doing. Now that his wife is dead and he's in prison, he's, you know, publicly tarnished, everybody
[41:11] has seen him for the monster that he is, there's no more facade to keep up. I "Yeah, you know what? You want me to be a bad guy, I am a bad guy." And we get to see truly like evil Kingpin.
[41:25] >> I agree. I'd like to see that he had maybe a there's a contingency plan somehow involved. I don't know if if we need to believe that this is part of his plan, but at the very least that he or like Vanessa had helped prepare for the
[41:38] possibility like, you know, he opens a letter and finds out, "Well, if you what you should do." And I would love to see him have conversations with her. The show has done that a few times where you see Matt having conversations with Fisk,
[41:53] but Fisk isn't really present. I would love to see her play a role in a Let's Again, it's I seems like it seems like I might be a minority here, but I I I really do think that he is central to the show. He's he's a another
[42:08] protagonist not in the sense of being a hero, but in the sense of being a main character. And I >> I don't need him to be um saved in the in the lingo of the film, right? I don't need him to be like
[42:20] Catholic saved, but I do want to see even more about him. I would be fascinated to see season 3 center more on him. of just sit sitting there waiting to pay
[42:35] >> Mhm. >> I think they do with Kingpin what they did with Negan. I I think there is a way to you have a character who is just absolutely brutal, even when as far as to kill one of the most beloved like
[42:50] And then they they found a way to kind of like redeem that character and make because the thing with Negan was he was such a likable character. >> Yet simultaneously you hated him. And I think that's kind of what we're seeing
[43:03] with Kingpin. You know he's bad, but like there's also this side of him that you just can't help but like just enjoy when he's on screen. And I I just think the character is far more interesting when he's not "Mwahaha,
[43:16] I'm a bad guy." I I I think we've done that. My god, have we done that so many times already. We have seen him, you know, try to say "Oh, well, uh I'm going to be good now. I care about this city. Oh, I'm I'm going to run for mayor. Oh,
[43:29] evil, by the way." Like and he just keeps hoodwinking the city. I I'm just kind of tired of that. Like I I'd rather see him just be a very different version >> D'Onofrio like explore different aspects of who this
[43:43] guy can be. Like maybe more so he's no longer the Kingpin. He's Wilson Fisk and explore like what that means for the character. And working on a video right now that I've, you know, pitched to you. Can Can I
[43:58] >> Sure, yeah, go ahead. >> I think with the hand and all that and like as we saw like in Across the Spider-Verse when, you know, he builds a Vanessa. He lives in the MCU. I could see him
[44:13] being obsessed with trying to find a way to bring her back, whether that be through the hand, maybe he wants to get his get his hands on some Tony Stark time machine blueprints or something. I You you could do like a him being just
[44:26] obsessed with trying to bring her back. And like like you were saying, have him like talking to her, but she's not really there. Like And just like get to explore his grief. I I think that's an interesting direction to take it.
[44:38] >> I would think I like the idea of tying Maggia forward island is. And in the comics, he does give up being the Kingpin for Vanessa, And it starts off this it kicks off this whole gang war storyline at the
[44:52] beginning of the Frank Miller run. It's incredible comic book storytelling. Um I kind of think that if he is going to come in in a villainous way, that's the gateway. You have the Mr. Charles Bullseye set up. They're flying to Asia,
[45:04] presumably. You have Fisk who could be out there. You could bring in the Power Broker, like the super chat suggested earlier. And I agree with you. I don't think having him just like return to New York and trying to rebuild his criminal
[45:16] doing something else. And that's >> he's a pretty valuable asset, I would think, for Valentina and Charles and like what they're wanting to do, which is like consolidate power and all that. Yeah. Because he is
[45:29] I mean, you know, like say what you will about President Trump. He He He's an impressive politician. You know, it it hasn't been done many times then you work your way back >> Wait, I don't understand. What is What
[45:42] with Kingpin in the show? Are there some sort of thematic parallels? [laughter] >> I even You guys know in our breakdowns, I have cuz I think it's obvious. It's they're doing, right? So, I never saw the point in pointing it out. But in the
[45:57] when they were storming the courthouse, I was like, there's an obvious parallel you. >> for you. I fight you still. >> Oh my god, you guys are
[46:09] >> I'll be in that boxing match, big beautiful boxing match. >> I was just going to say he's just he's super impressive when it comes to being a kingpin and consolidating power and controlling people and building empires
[46:24] and that's what they're wanting to do. So, yeah, if they can get him like oh my god, what if they like promised him a way to get Vanessa back they're controlling him. That could be >> I'll throw this here's a way if you want
[46:36] little Netflix universe, we're doing that and maybe we want the kingpin to do other stuff like he in the greater MCU. He's the real power broker. We don't broker. She was on the phone at the end of it. He could have been setting up his
[46:49] >> [laughter] >> It is a Netflix universe. 10 seasons of that thing. All right, Bryson 32 gave us five bucks and has a universe, says do you think we see Finn Jones in the Daredevil suit next season?
[47:04] I mean I say no because he admitted he was Daredevil. >> Oh, yeah. >> But this does raise an interesting point about um Danny Rand and I I kind of I'm a little
[47:17] pessimistic about the viewership for next season because it's not like you know those Defender shows will have been on 10 years ago by the time these new And it's not like Danny Rand was a big draw or Nick Cage was a big draw because
[47:31] they would have gotten season three if they had been. Do you guys >> We know who we know who he meant. >> I'm watching Spider-Man Noir right now. What do you guys think? Like is this are they going too far into that shared
[47:46] Um >> Well, I don't think we can Danny Rand um at least as it was done previously. Of of the Netflix shows, that seemed to me to be one of the weakest. That and the Defenders, right? There was a whole
[48:00] scenes. The rumor is, right, that the actor well. That's why so many of them are in Luke Cage on the other hand is a fantastic show. And
[48:14] >> I like I like the show. >> Yeah. I would like to see There There's a possibility that he could become part of that filling in that power vacuum. Like Luke Cage at the end of season 2 of Luke Cage, you see him step into this
[48:28] potentially morally ambiguous role. And I And I hope that they do they do roll assume you all know far better than I. How many seasons of Born Again are they
[48:40] intending to do? Like is this three and done? Because at that point, yeah, I do >> The The showrunner says season 3 is going to tie up this arc. Like seasons of 1, 2, and 3 are like one arc. And then they'll see if they get like
[48:54] another if they get refreshed for more. Then they'll tell a new story. they do need to tie up this. And I think your idea, Colton, is I love that idea. Like but let's have him become even more evil and commit atrocities trying to
[49:08] bring her back and have her somewhere in her in his head going, "No. No, don't do that. I drank pineapple juice. I've been redeemed." >> And they need to drop Born Again, I think. If they do a fourth season, you
[49:21] else. >> It's such a mouthful. >> Yeah. DD BA. I hate putting it on the in the thumbnails on the titles. curious what you guys think. So, let's talk about Bullseye and what he's doing
[49:35] for Mr. Charles. AKA as we keep throwing out, he could be Henry Peter Gyrich or different assumed names. So, they're really kind of in the background setting forming the Dark Avengers. They could be tying into Damage Control and this
[49:49] agency that controls superpowered people. What do we think? >> I don't know if you guys saw, but Tommy sent us a a slight shout out to him that kind of has my mind going on this, but because we were talking about it
[50:02] earlier, could Mr. Charles be the fake name to a Norman Osborn? I think, you know, that is a lot of that is a different take on Norman Osborn, but he has worked with the government before. I would be okay with that. I
[50:16] mean, it makes I think Colton is shaking his head. It makes no sense to me as a Henry Henry Peter Gyrich. I I really like I I think he probably will set up >> I don't know, man. It doesn't make as much sense at all. I I really don't.
[50:29] >> [laughter] >> I think everything's going to be You of like, yeah, they you know, multiverse, too. Like if Daredevil Reborn Again would have started in phase four, then Kingpin probably would be
[50:42] to find Vanessa and they would tie it in think next saga is all I Because you can't ignore it. And that's the thing like that If I had any gripe about the Infinity Saga, as like as somebody who
[50:54] thinking like, well, wait, there's a superhero Civil War. That's not going to happening and Thanos and that's not getting mentioned. So, just the fact that they're telling everybody, "Hey, you you know, the handcuffs are off. You
[51:07] naturally come up a lot. Hell, Typhoid Mary is a mutant in the comics. And haven't seen. >> Isn't Bullseye canonically not a mutant, but adamantium enhanced, >> right? Yeah.
[51:21] what gives him his powers. He's got adamantium >> he to be more durable, right? He has at least in some iterations of the the comics has adamantium. Uh don't they aren't they gesturing to that at the end
[51:33] of um what is it, season 3 where we see him? So, does he need to be a mutant? I mean, I By the way, I love I love your Norman Osborn. I I like to see things expecting. I want to have read a comic and then be surprised by the direction
[51:50] that they take it. So, could Could he be just not a mutant and just be someone this? But, is he a mutant? he There's no explanation.
[52:02] whole thing is there's no explanation to why he can curve a knife around 20 miles and off this wall. It's just I don't want him to have powers. I want him to be a really good guy at what he does.
[52:14] >> Let us hope that if we practice, [laughter] we too could do it. >> Yeah, I'm sure you are, Ethan. >> [laughter]
[52:28] you know, the lone one out over here. I I want them like they established in the Deadpool movie for the mutant gene to be able to be unlocked by severe trauma. Bullseye had severe trauma, Kingpin had severe trauma, Matt had severe trauma,
[52:42] Jessica Jones I I think that you can unlock a mutant gene through severe went through puberty. And I think the mutant saga could introduce us to the concept of hey, up until this point, the mutant gene,
[52:57] we know has existed, but it hasn't presented itself a lot, but now it's becoming more rampant because people are just getting it when they go through puberty. And that that's a way to make it have always existed, but also be new.
[53:10] Second thing I wanted to say, not mis- Mr. Charles can't be Norman Osborn. Osborn so he >> [laughter]
[53:22] sense to do that. >> [laughter] >> No. >> Not again, MR. STARK. meant to bring this up earlier. In the comics, there's my personal theory for
[53:36] Elektra. I think she comes back, but she comes back to help. I think she comes purged of all that hand stuff because she becomes what she does in the comics. She comes back, she dresses up as I guess we're calling it Lady Daredevil
[53:50] in order to like and she does well cuz yeah, she-devil. Oh, that's so much >> Dare-she-devil. Comes back as Dare-she-devil and then which sounds like Dare-she-devil sounds like a square dance move.
[54:03] devil. >> What? NO, I DIDN'T. >> I MEANT EVEN ON THE KEYBOARD. >> ETHAN, AWFUL. >> Aw, that's the worst. >> Yeah, I have a secret keyboard where
[54:17] >> No, you're like >> I definitely think if they're going to make all of these series tell one story, it's got to be the hand and bringing Wilson Fisk in as an ally. I I think it makes the most sense cuz that would also
[54:29] explain why Danny Rand is there. But man, they got to catch the audience up was a turd burger. Nobody >> There's also there's also a cool Daredevil being locked away in prison. We're going to see all these heroes have
[54:42] to step up and yeah, Elektra could be a a good choice there. Yeah, and if whatever happens Spider-Man and maybe Spider-Man's gone, too. the years. Yeah, that'd be interesting. Um I do want to say I'm I'm I'm a
[54:57] Finn Jones Danny Rand defender, but to what we were saying earlier about like >> Ha ha. Introducing too many characters to season 3. All they need to do is and to do is release a trailer and there's a sick fight scene with Danny Rand and
[55:13] Luke Cage in it and make the Iron Fist effects better than what they were the that. >> And he also doesn't have to be in every episode. You know, Jessica Jones didn't have to be in very much of the show and
[55:25] there. >> I think you can introduce a character know, the audience feeling like they introduce any character in any show. You know, we don't have to have the origin
[55:37] story every time a the new police captain character is introduced. I think Fist. You just have to bring in a talented like somebody really good at just have him write like the
[55:50] >> they're going to have Angela Del Toro as the new kid, too. I think Angela might all this, you know, cuz they're they have her that to explain things to. And it's weird Jay and Silent Bob haven't shown up in the MCU. Kevin Smith like
[56:05] screenplay in Captain Marvel, but you're right, Mike. They should at least in writing Daredevil. >> Yeah. Stan Lee is in that movie and it's technically an MCU movie, so Mallrats is canon.
[56:19] >> Canon to the MCU, yeah. And don't even get me started on why Stan Lee is in that universe as Stan Lee. I guess it would be because they Stan comics. They made the Fantastic Four comics. They were adaptations of the
[56:33] exploits. But I I don't know. It's a whole thing. It's That's a whole other video. So, let me get we we're going to rapidly run out of time. Let me just get rapidly run out of time. Let me just get from you guys what you have to see in
[56:45] season 3 of this show and final thoughts on season 2. Let's go one at a time. >> Oh, I Fisk engage with Vanessa Moore. I don't want
[56:59] to see the hand because I think there's a whole lot of backstory that's from the Netflix and I and I want to see I want to see some Luke Cage in there. I'd like to see him do something and and and fill in a a
[57:13] nice morally ambiguous space. >> Okay. I mean, I loved how they ended him that goes with him running Harlem's Paradise and assuming control of the gangs. So, Ethan, what do you think? >> Um my pie in the sky hope, I guess it's
[57:27] Colleen Wing. We already have so many of the Defenders the end of Iron Fist. I want to see Colleen. Like that's the last relic of the Netflix era that I really want to see back, assuming that Elektra
[57:41] is already back. You know, um, I think that the Hand story can be interesting. I think I I've said it on our group chats a lot that I would love to see a do them right. Like that would be really
[57:54] of view if you want another new vigilante character. Um, and I want to see Dex tear some [ __ ] up. Just just I want to see him for no unexplained reason at all be able
[58:06] to throw a knife like two blocks and land on his target immediately. Like I character. >> In our breakdowns when Ethan would give >> In our breakdowns when Ethan would give me notes like his observations
[58:18] detailed. And then this knife bounces off this corner and it's so funny. Like yeah, it's it's your favorite [ __ ] Uh, Mike, what do you think? >> I would love to see a very large end game style battle, but between street
[58:34] level people, right? I want all of the Defenders, White Tiger, I want Punisher, I want uh, you know, just any street level New York vigilante and they're all going up against, I don't know, I presume it
[58:48] would be the Hand, but it could be anybody else. I just I'd like to see a kind of like a long cut fight scene or a long take fight scene with no cuts where now the White Tiger's beating up this person and now and here's and oh, he's
[59:02] of nowhere punches the guy in the face and like, you know, just like what we feel like you're right in the middle of the action, but with the street level heroes. I think that would be awesome. >> You know, when you started saying that,
[59:17] want it, but then you sold me. Them fighting the Hand like in the in a New York street and like them all assembling. I that would be pretty cool. >> riot like like imagine just you know two sides and then they just like
[59:32] there. If it's just the hand, they're just nondescript ninjas, it gets boring. kind of fell off because it was just ninjas, right? I never thought I would they do. They're like pancakes to quote Mitch Hedberg. All excited the first
[59:46] them. And they don't talk a lot. Colton, go ahead. >> Yeah. >> I want I want uh a lot of Matt in prison. I hope he spends the bulk of the
[59:59] season in prison. I think that's going to be And what is that character's name? >> You're thinking of Turk, right? >> Yeah, that that they all that he always >> He should be his cellmate guy. >> He needs to be his cellmate. Yes, that
[1:00:16] would be great. And like show Matt like the ins and outs of prison, like how to get stuff and whatnot. Like maybe maybe that's why Matt gets his his sunglasses going in. But you know, just stuff like that.
[1:00:28] when when they're in prison. It's weird he's not in the raft, I'll throw that individual, he should be on the raft, but because he basically volunteered to go to jail, maybe it's not a thing. Uh Phil Arumba from Dun Under gave us three
[1:00:41] I think they know like he doesn't have super strength or invulnerability or heightened senses and he's a skilled fighter, so he can go to a regular prison. They put Scott Lang in the raft, but Phil Arumba from Dun Under gave us
[1:00:53] great show. Uh Pets for Doug and Monty G gave us $2 and said need Claire Temple back for season 3. minute. >> They did put Scott Lang in there for no
[1:01:07] reason. They just take his suit away. Oh my god. >> He's the only one that's previously done time, too. So maybe they were like, we it there. All your buddies are in San Quentin. We got to send you to the raft.
[1:01:21] yeah I overlooked for a long time. Working on a Civil War breakdown now. >> Mhm. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. >> The technology has already been there, right? So the MCU saga began years ago. >> We needed that for your Deadpool video.
[1:01:35] I didn't even think of that. Maybe it's to prevent someone else don't know. I don't remember. >> Like you did that video about like how and all that. >> yeah, yeah.
[1:01:47] you're right. Nick just had a great one that got lost in the shuffle there. Say >> Oh, well maybe it's to prevent Scott from being broken out cuz he was broken out of something else. >> That's true and he is the ultimate yeah.
[1:02:00] >> You know, we got to have some respect for Scott, right? He tries so hard. >> All right, guys. I I got to call it guys about this. I've been holding on to this for for a few days now and really
[1:02:14] glad we got to talk about it. Nick, you can find him on the channel Philosophy for joining us. So much appreciate it. >> Let me go next. I'm hungry. >> Okay, and then Colton, see you later. Okay, and then Mike, you got a show
