[00:15] what you need to know about the face scan,  and whether it's actually worth it or not.   My name is Mikael and today we are looking at  Interlink. It's a phone-based crypto mining   app that has more than 5 million downloads and  has a lot of people asking whether it could be  

[00:31] the next big thing in mobile mining. I'll go  over all the details in this video and there   definitely are some important things you need to  consider before joining. So, let's get into it.   So, let's start by going over who can join. And  on the website, you can see that they say it's  

[00:46] basically available in all countries and it has  more than five and you can use it both for Android   and iOS devices. You do need to download the app.  So you can earn it from your phone. You cannot   use it on computer currently. And you can see it  has more than 5 million downloads currently. So  

[01:01] definitely a quite popular app. So you just need  to download the app and then create an account.   And then you need to create your Interlink ID.  When you're doing that needs to consist of four  

[01:13] to 12 characters, just numbers. And honestly, it  took me a little bit of trial and error because   with so many people that have joined there,  you have to be a little bit creative to find   something and it can be a little bit hard  to remember. So, if they decide to do that,  

[01:26] probably write it down somewhere safe so you  actually do remember it. But anyways, that's   just the sign up process. It's free to sign up  for. So, let's go a little bit more over what it   is and then I'll also log in and show you how it  works. So, Interlink is a blockchain project and  

[01:42] they are building what they call a human network.  You can see they write that here very clearly   on the website. So essentially what it is is a  phone based crypto ecosystem where real verified   people are the backbone of the network. So their  stated mission is to build the world's largest  

[01:58] human ccentric blockchain network as you can see  here and they are targeting to onboard more than   5 billion internet users and become the world's  largest phone-based human network. So definitely   some huge goals. Some ways it reminds me a little  bit of the Pi network if you know about that. that  

[02:14] also started and it also onboarded like millions  of people and still have huge goals. But just   happen fast. So that's just something to keep in  mind. But what you can get out of it is that you  

[02:28] can actually participate for free and also then  just click a button and earn for free by mining   the crypto. So let's go over how that works.  I will just log in and show you on my phone.   So I am now logged in and it's quite easy to uh  to get started here. You can see you can just mine  

[02:45] this crypto here, this ITLG. So if you click and  mine it, then you'll just have to watch an ad. So   that's how it is on many free mining apps. When  you click, you just have to watch an ad and then   it will run for a specific time. So let me just  watch this ad and then I'll be back. So the ad  

[03:00] now finally uh stopped and uh now you can then see  then it is mining and you can see you have base   rate here and what you will earn and it will then  run for 4 hours. So every four hours you would  

[03:12] need to log in there and click. So you don't need  any specific hardware or anything like that but   the actually mining is a little bit different than  what you might understand as mining. So it's not   that you need all this equipment and do anything  complicated. You just need to open the app once in  

[03:25] a while and then tap and then you will earn for  4 hours. But you do need to be aware that even   though you can create an account and get started  right away without verification, then you do need   to scan your face in your profile to lock all the  benefits and also earn more. And this is a part of  

[03:41] what they're trying to build this human network  there because you verify your identity through   this face scanning and what they call a liveness  detection. So they say it doesn't expose your   personal data but you become a so-called human  node that helps secure and maintain the integrity  

[03:58] of the network. So this is what they say. Again  I'm just saying what they're saying when it comes   to this their way of solving a problem in crypto  which is bots and fake accounts. So that's why you   do need to at some point scan your face. If you  do not feel comfortable about that then this is  

[04:13] probably not the right option for you because the  whole idea is to become a part of this network.   Whether you feel comfortable about that or not,  that's of course up to you. Now, personally,   and this again, this is just my personal opinion.  I do not feel super excited about that idea,

[04:39] to hear from you. But let's now also dive  a little bit more into what you will earn.   So when you're mining you can see you earn  this crypto this IG this is short for interlink  

[04:51] genesis token and this is something that you earn  exclusively through the mining by verified humans   and they say this is what governs the interlink  dowo and it plays a critical role in expanding  

[05:03] the human network because you know that's how they  motivate people to participate and you can also   increase your rate by inviting others that's again  like for example the Pi network if you know about   that or specific other similar mining apps. The  token generation of this particular crypto here,  

[05:18] it was originally expected in the first quarter  of 2026, but as of recording this video, it has   not launched yet. And there's also not really any  information about what the plan is and what the  

[05:30] time horizon is. So that is of course frustrating  for a lot of people that have participated long   time. And that's also why I just want to make  that clear. And I cannot say when. Maybe by the   time you watch this, it has already launched.  But no one knows what these mine tokens will  

[05:43] actually be worth. And this is very similar to,  for example, Pi network. When that first started,   it took like several years before it actually  launched with a specific value. People had no   idea what it was. And a lot of the tokens were  then locked up and you couldn't get it out. And by  

[05:56] the time you could, that dropped a lot in value.  It's also a little bit similar to the Grass token.   turned out to have quite a big value at first  when it was launched, but you just didn't know   how much you would earn and what the value would  be. So, these are just a couple of examples.  

[06:11] But there are a lot of apps like this and there  are also many of them where the token actually   never end up launching and where the project  never actually succeeds. So you never really know.   There are quite a few mining apps where you can do  something similar where you don't for example have  

[06:24] to scan your phase and then you can say then it  just takes a few seconds here and there and then   if you read the documentation and you think  it sounds like a project that has potential   then it doesn't take much time and effort. So then  why not? But for this particular one you of course  

[06:37] need to feel comfortable about what it's doing  and what you have to do to verify and all that.   But the reality is right now as of recording  this video we don't know when if the token will   launch. We don't know what the value will be if  it launches. And this is just something to keep  

[06:52] in mind. So in my opinion, if you decide to do  something like this, then it should not be with   high expectations. It should just be more like,  okay, I think sounds good. It doesn't take much.   I feel comfortable about what they are offering.  So just click once in a while and that's it.  

[07:07] But don't expect too much. Personally, you know,  I'm using quite a few different mining apps. This   is not one that I will currently pursue. I do have  a list of my top recommended free mining apps you   can use that are a little bit similar to this, but  they have some differences. For example, the whole  

[07:21] verification process and all that, but I'll leave  a link below to my list of that. So, you can check   that out if you're interested in alternatives  also.
